"Lovely stay in a beautiful location!
What a great experience staying at the Kailua Kona Surf and Racquet Club. The condo was welcoming when we arrived and the ocean views were spectacular. The wrap around Lani is a feature you’ll never want to leave. The kitchen had all the gadgets we needed to prepare meals, and the living spaces were comfortable. All in all a great experience."

"Quiet location and Awesome ocean view!
If you are looking for a vacation rental that is peaceful and comfortable with an amazing ocean view, this is the place to stay. The unit was very clean and spacious with a very large covered porch to spend your time enjoying the ocean view and eat all your meals outside if you choose. Sunsets were awesome. The condo is approx. 5 miles from the main business district of Kona. It was ideal for us since we went there only one time. Traffic was minimal into and out of the condo and provided easy access to get to all parts of the island.The staff was awesome and informed me when the condo was ready for an early check in. The large mall was about 0.2 miles away that provided restaurants, coffee shop and a large KTA local grocery store for food supplies. I will definitely rent this place again on my next visit and refer my friends and family. Overall a great place to stay!!"

The view!!!! Amazing!! We saw dolphins, whales and amazing sunsets from the patio! Super clean. Some other reviews mentioned it needed updating which sure some things are a little out dated but the location, view, cleanliness and comfort of the condo was excellent!! It was also well stocked with beach items and things like a cooler which was great to have on hand. The rental company was super responsive to our questions. Would definitely stay again!!"

"Breathtaking view
Warm surroundings with a breathtaking view. Enjoyed our breakfast on the balcony every morning watching the waves splash higher and higher. Sound of the ocean would lull you to sleep at night. Couldn’t ask for more and would stay here again and again!"

"Very relaxing experience
We enjoyed our stay at this rental. It is very well managed. Then check in and check out we’re so easy. The view was awesome. I would suggest owner to consider upgrading furniture, bath towels, and kitchen’s pans and pots. I would stay at this place again and I highly recommend it to everyone. "

Appartment was clean, well organized with an astonishing view over the pacific ocean (Sunset inlcuded). Nothing to complain about. Supermarket and restaurant are very close to the appartment location. Kona city is a solid 20 min drive with a bit a traffic. I definitely would recommand it to friends and family."

"All we expected and more
This unit has the best location in development. Postcard views all day long! Sunsets were unbelievable from the patio. Floor to ceiling sliding doors allowed ample light and an all day breeze. Washer/dryer in the unit was a huge plus. Property was clean, well maintained and the management staff had great communication for an easy check in. The Wifi worked great. I would return just to stay in this unit again and will be recommending it to anyone I know coming to Kona!"

"WHAT A VIEW!
This 2nd story condo was just perfect for the 3 of us. No a/c, but at night we just left the sliders and windows open and the fans running. It was wonderful to sit out on the lanai in the morning, listening to the waves and enjoying my coffee. Very well-stocked condo, too! We would stay here again in the future."

"Convenient coastal Kona condo
Easy check-in, great location, and extra-large wrap-around lanai where we spent every moment we could watching boats and canoes go by. Very convenient to Kona and Keahou, shopping, groceries, visiting north, south, or over to the volcano. Grounds are well kept and condo was very clean. Only minor complaint was comfort of the furniture on the lanai. "

While the condo was large and the view spectacular, there were some misses, rather than hits. Broken dryer, with damp towels from previous guests, so we had to wash and lay things out dry, no back up towels, etc. Also much of the condo was old, with stained carpeting, and the tiniest coffee maker for such a large crowd."

"Tale of two units
My wife and I, together with our long-time traveling friends, have recently completed a two week stay at Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club. First 5 nights at unit 5-103, followed by eight nights at unit 2-204. Together or separately, we have stayed at this development at least 20 times, always in buildings 1-5. We have a good idea of what to expect. 5-103 was nearly perfect. Clean, updated, and with all the extras you could ask for. We had two small issues both of which were immediately resolved by property manager. We then moved to 2-204 - a different world. I am sure the carpets had been vacuumed, and the tables and counters wiped down BUT the dishes were mismatched and chipped, utensils were a collection of leftovers, a cheap 4 cup coffee pot, a cheap toaster, kitchen liners were disintegrating and sticking to the dishware, no kitchen cloths, no broom, gross stains in the living room carpet (with a futile effort to cover with the furniture), light above dining table was filthy, no bathroom wastebaskets, no sink stopper in master bathroom, no tub mat in tub, no bath mats, master toilet runs constantly, rust around tub, twin bed pillow ripped, hall bathroom door splintered near the floor. No telling how long it had been since the decking glass had been cleaned. This unit is tired, worn-out and neglected. No pride of ownership. I can’t believe the owners ever visit. The sad thing is that most of these issues could be taken care of by a deep and thorough cleaning, and less than $2000. Because of the location, quiet and wonderful condition of the grounds, this unit could be raised to a 3.5 to 4 star unit. As it presently stands, guests should not be forced to put up with the minimum standards this unit offers. I don’t know if the fault lies with the property manager or the owner, but it needs to be resolved. We would rate this at barely 2 stars and would not recommend anybody stay in unit 4-204 until it is put in better condition. Garry W. Jones"

"Dishonest business practices. They charge more than what's quoted
The unit itself was nice. If not for Knutson & Associates' business practices, I would've given it 5-stars. Here's the good. The unit is clean, has a beautiful view, and there's beach equipment provided. But here's the bad, which should be enough to not use this provider. After booking on VRBO (and confirmed in an email), Knutson & Associates then sends an 8-page document "requiring" a $49 insurance charge (hidden on page 3 and you can't stay there without signing). If it's "required," shouldn't that be stated in their VRBO listing? I've since spoken with VRBO and all they can say is that Knutson charged the extra amount and I should contact the provider directly to reverse this. I told them that I go through VRBO because they're supposed to ensure that I don't get overcharged (plus why is their provider allowed to charge my credit card directly an additional $49 not listed in the original quote...and VRBO knows nothing about it and tells me to contact the provider?). VRBO's attitude is that it's out of their hands, so it's on me to spend the hours I've been wasting to correct their wrong. They said they'd contact Knutson and get back to me but it's been 10 days and nothing. Problem #2 is that this unit has paper thin blinds throughout, so if you can't sleep with the sun shining directly in your face, look elsewhere. To compound this issue, some of the bedroom blinds were broken and wouldn't close all the way anyway. I made a courtesy "just so you know" call to the property manager (to be nice, not to complain) and he acknowledged that the blinds were old and likely need replacement. I would've let that go, but in light of this sneaky hidden charge, everyone might as well know about that as well. If you're okay with a provider sneaking extra charges to your credit card (I reviewed my statement and caught it...how many people have they done this to who have no idea?), forcing you to spend hours chasing down VRBO + credit card charges, then enjoy!"

"A comfy stay for a few days, but there is an ant issue!
The condo is bright, airy, and spacious. We loved the wrap-around lanai with ocean views. The living room was comfortable. However, the kitchen is dark and the appliances are old. The white refrigerator has scratches and stains on it, which makes it appear dirty. There is a serious ant issue in both the kitchen and the two bathrooms. Small ants crawl on kitchen and bath counters as well as along the bathroom walls. With ants in the kitchen, who would want to cook there? There is also no deadbolt on the front door. There is only one switch type lock, but no secondary lock. Although our safety was never compromised, we thought this was odd for the main door to the condo. The sliding glass doors need to be oiled up or repositioned along its tracks -- it wasn't the easiest to maneuver open and closed."

"Wonderful stay!
We had a wonderful time on the Big Island, and I was blown away with how close this condo is to the ocean- get ready to be serenaded by the waves at night! The kitchen had nearly everything we needed to cook (minus a can opener), and we enjoyed accessing the pool. Beds are so relative to each individual so take the feedback with a grain of salt, but the queen was too soft for both of our backs. Our housemates were comfortable on both of the twins. Thank you for a great experience!"

These issues did not diminish the wonderful location and fabulous view on the wraparound lanai. The size of the unit was very spacious for four adults. Excellent airflow and we didn’t miss AC. "

"Dissatisfaction with Knutson
NO EXPERIENCE! We cancelled due to the Virus outbreak beginning of Feb, inside the non reimbursable period. To this date we are still arguing with Blake Kessner about the monetary issue. We were offered to rebook with him 12 months or later. However, I am an immune compromised person and Blake seems to refuse to acknowledge it. Staying home for me means staying alive. In my opinion Blake is inconsiderate, especially under the Covid conditions that we are all living under now."

"Wonderful Location and View
The condo was very nice, and the view was just amazing. We loved sitting outside and eating dinner every night, watching the sunset. We were pleasantly suprised to find that it had everything for the beach: umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, coolers, etc. And it is very conveniently located close to a shopping center with everything you need. The condo is showing its age, but it was clean and comfortable, with everything in working order. It doesn't have air conditioning, which wasn't a problem when the doors and windows are open and the cool ocean breeze comes in, but it does get toasty in the heat of the afternoon. Overall, great place, we would stay here again. "

"Amazing Place!
This is an amazing place and we would totally stay there again! The place was super clean, the beds were comfy and the view amazing. The ocean is actually closer than it looks in the pics which is awesome, and you can hear it crashing against the lava rocks below and see the spray. The resort is nice and quiet, the pool is clean and nice, and grocery stores and restaurants are a short drive away. The only two things I would say could be criticized are, the back bedroom overlooks one of the garbage and recycling areas. No smells, but sometimes if you're trying to sleep in you can hear the clank of bottles and what not. The other is that the kitchen is looking a little well used, but everything is totally functional. All in all we loved this place, and would totally love to come back here! "

We loved this property, especially the lanai. What you see is what you get. The view is spectacular & whenever we were back at the unit, this is where we were. The unit itself was clean and well maintained with tasteful furnishings. The kitchen was well equipped & had everything we needed. There was even a cooler to pack up lunches & snacks when we were out enjoying what the island has to offer. My only suggestion is to invest in a better bed for the master bedroom. Despite the mattress being only a few years old, it was already caving in toward the middle & didn't have enough support. "

"Stunning sunset view
This unit has an absolutely stunning oceanfront view from the wraparound lanai. You are facing due west, so you get uninterrupted sunset views every evening, weather permitting. Since the lanai is where we spent almost of the time we were in the unit other than sleeping, it was a great experience. The Keauhou location is nice--very close to Kahalu'u Beach Park for great snorkeling and the Keauhou Plaza Shopping Center for food and supplies. The unit's furnishings and bathrooms were definitely showing their age, however. Everything was clean but overall a bit shabby. Proximity to the ocean meant that everything metal in the unit, from the window pulls to the bathroom fixtures are rusted or showing signs of corrosion. The bed was fine but the mattress was too soft for our liking. The unit is un-air-conditioned, but we didn't really notice this too much as there was pretty much always a nice breeze from the ocean at night and the unit has lots of fans."

"Great views with a few glitches
This condo had terrific views of the ocean and lava rock coastline. The furnishings were adequate but were showing age. I stayed in another condo in this complex last year that was much more updated. If you don’t mind cabinets that don’t close well, popcorn ceilings, and doors that are difficult to open/shut then try 2-204.
Furthermore, Knutson company messed up my reservation and just when I thought we had it all straightened out the cleaning crew showed up 2 days early because the company had not communicated with them!
Because we love the locations, we will likely return to this complex. However we will not use this agency to do so."

"A wonderful vacation
My husband and I rented this condo for 3 weeks in nov./dec.-17. Overall we were very satisfied! This was the 8th. time we rented a condo at the S&R Club. We just love this place with it's beautiful surroundings, and it is so peaceful here. Just the sounds from the waves. The view from the lanai is fantastic, and we could stay here for hours. Watching dolphins, whales and beautiful sunsets. Everything in the condo worked perfectly, and the kitchen is well stocked.We never used the livingroom or watched TV, so we don't know about that.We hope to be back some day, and again thank you so much for giving us a wonderful stay in your condo. "A View of Paradise
We love staying at the Surf and Racquet Club due to its location on the water, just outside the congestion at the heart of Ali'i Drive. The condo has a majestic view of the ocean, making breakfasts and sunset cocktails magical. The complex is quiet, so you can fall asleep to the lapping of the waves against the lava rocks outside your window. The condo is clean, has a well-appointed kitchen, beach gear, and lots of towels. The only negative aspect of the condo is that the ceiling fans are too small and not sufficiently powerful for hot nights -- the condo does have extra floor fans to compensate, however those fans are loud and detract from the tranquility of the ocean sounds. An investment in some newer, larger ceiling fans would make this place perfect (and, frankly, more convenient than hauling out the floor fans, etc.)
As for the location, it very close to good shopping center with a market and drug store, and only a 10-minute drive into downtown. However, when we visit, we spend most of our time down around Captain Cook to snorkel at two-step and Kealakekua Bay, and the condo is about 5 minutes to the main highway, so all that is easy.
The rental management company was extremely professional, communication was perfect, and the mobile app makes all the logistics of arrival easy as can be.
This is a great condo run by a very professional company and we recommend it highly! We hope to return in the future!"

This is a corner, second floor two bedroom condo looking out on the ocean. Could see whales breaching near the shore. Was very comfortable unit and well equipped. The Knutson and Associates representative responded very quickly when there was a leak in the kitchen (reported by the manager of the property). "

How can just words express:it felt like home the minute we walked in, the view is spectacular and great places to go see that are as far away as you want to drive. Honest cleaning crew, long story, and Knutson is very helpful in helping me through the rental agreement. Can't say enough about the condo or Knutson. "KKSR 2-204
We had a great vacation on the Bid Island at KKSR 2-204. The unit had most everything we needed (it lacked a can opener and pair of tongs - which we purchased and left in the unit - and could have used a larger frying pan). The kitchen needs updating and the squeak queen bed should be changed out for a king in the master bedroom. The unit needs new bed pillows all around.... The headboards on the twin beds in the second bedroom should either be attached or removed as they hit the walls anytime any movement was made on the beds.
Overall the unit was nice and comfortable and we loved the wrap around lanai. "

"Beautiful Spot
Wonderful condo. The huge wrap around lanai with access from the master is great. We brought another couple and there was lots of room. There was beach chairs, boogie boards, lots of towels etc. Living room with sets of floor to ceiling windows both sides provided awesome views. Condo faces west and sunset is right in front of your lanai. We had several dolphin sitings including a school of about 30 leaping their way northwards.
Kitchen well equipped, fridge has ice-maker. The BBQ's were a short walk away and never seemed busy.
Local phone wasn't working when we arrived but management got it up and running quickly. Local manager Albert great help as he was co-ordinating parking lot resurfacing when we were there. Normally you have your own spot so no issue. Gated entrance so local residents only.
You are south of town so about 15 mins to get into Kona. There is a good mall about two minutes away with a Longs, grocery store, several restaurants. There is a good snorkel beach 2 minutes north and a great sandy beach for swimming and boarding if the surf is up another few minutes up the road. Sea Paradise and Fair Winds work out of small marina few miles south if you want to snorkel Capt Cook monument.

"Great location with stunning view
We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable condo, loved being right next to the tennis courts and the water. The property was clean and well maintained. Luck of the draw, the condo beneath us was being renovated during our stay so it was noisy. It didn't really matter, because we were busy, out and about during the day. So we would definitely come back again."

"One word: Perfect!
My husband and I are used to rent hotels for our vacations. Not any more! The condo was perfect: clean, well furnished, cute, GREAT location, SUPERB view, nothing was missing in there, from the dishes to the books and infos on the Big Island, they even had some reading books and games! But the clue was the lanai: we loved it so much, so spent our whole time on it, didn't even try the couch! It was very quiet, grounds well maintained, a lot of privacy. LOVED IT! Will recommend to all my friends and announce it on my Facebook. Special thanks to Blake Kessner, who answer to all queries super quick. I will no doubt return at some point, there was so much to do and see, we didn't had time to do it all."

"Nice Kona Condo
This condo is a nice spacious condo that worked out really well for our family of four. While it is a little dated, it was clean and has a great ocean front location. The condo is located in a quiet gated community. The kitchen was well equipped with lots of supplies. The queen size bed was a little small, but is very comfortable. They provide plenty of towels, both for the condo and the beach. It also has a new washer and dryer that worked well for us. It is located only a short drive to a really nice beach that had great snorkeling. Grocery store and other shops very close by. The only negative to this condo is you can hear everything in the condo above you. "

"Not happy
Sofa is old and hard.Very loud noise from above of us, management did do nothing except saying sorry to us. Washing machine and dryer was broken it couldn't fixed, we had to return with wet clothes. Management could have make alternate arrangements."

Loved my vacation experience. Great location, clean condo, easy check-in and checkout process, helpful staff. They were even able to arrange for us to come in two hours earlier than the normal check in time. We only had one small issue, the WiFi did not work in the back bedroom. Property location is great. The condo has beautiful views. Grounds are perfectly maintained. Nice pool and tennis courts. Condo was clean and fairly well equipped. This is what makes this place a little slice of heaven - the view. It is really lovely, and if you love the ocean, you most likely cannot get better than this.
The second best thing to say about the unit, is it layout and sense of space. It just works.
Of course there were things that we were not too fond of, it really needs a good top to bottom cleaning. I know that salt and sea are two horrible enemies, but staying on top of things can help. Please take the glass off the big outside table to vacuum and clean the space between the glass and metal - it is disgusting. Also, the top of the fan in the kitchen is need of good scrub. Little things just bothered us tremendously, the mattress was very uncomfortable, as were the sheets. Wish the shower doors were not so caked with scrum on the bottom.
We just felt that these things let the view and layout down. We also were not treated so nicely by Brent when we arrived in the office. So, sorry for making a mistake and arriving at the office and not the unit, but we honestly did not get the email (it could have ended up in Spam). Just treat guests with a bit more niceness - it was an honest mistake.
Also please do something about the hanging blinds, the ones by the sliding door bed area do not close or open or turn.
If the cleanliness was addressed, and the bedding bettered, we would be happy to recommend this place."

we appreciated the good quality carpet in the unit - but the beds and living room sofas and chairs were saggy and the upholstery and bed covers were old and faded. Fake plants were dusty (and don't improve the ambiance in any event), apart from that the unit was spotless. The kitchen had the bare essentials and the usual poor quality, dull knives typically found in rental units. "

We enjoyed our stay at the Surf and Rawuet club. The unit was clean,big and had everything we needed to enjoy 10 days in paradise. The wrap around lanai was amazing and we spent a lot of time sitting out there soaking up the spectacular view. The pool was nice,kept clean and well maintained. This unit was great for a family of 4. The few downsides were how hot the unit was at night. Bigger, more powerful stand up fans for bedrooms would be a plus. A proper king size bed in master bedroom would have been nice. The bed was very small and uncomfortable for two. "

"Great space, needs a little work
The setting and the view CANNOT be beat. The complex is peaceful and the grounds are gorgeous. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the lanai of #2-204 watching sunrises and sunsets. The waves crashing on the rocks right in front of our unit were spectacular! There was generous, well-appointed space for 4 adults. It was clean and the beds, pillows, and sheets were comfortable. The unit was stocked with an assortment of spices and cooking oils, cooking utensils (minus tools for the community barbeque), beach towels and chairs, games, and books. We didn’t lack for anything during our visit. That being said, we did notice a few things worth mentioning for people considering this unit. The master bath needs some attention. The shower door was difficult to slide due to corrosion, the toilet seat kept collapsing on itself, and the shower stall needs a good soaking in bleach (we thought the guest bath was lovely). The clothes washer needs a few cycles with some Affresh. We were disappointed to find it doesn’t have air conditioning since the temps during our visit soared into the 90s each day (we live in the south and forget there are parts of the world where this isn’t a given). There is good air circulation through the unit when the ceiling fans are all on and the windows and doors are open. Even so, the back bedroom, kitchen, and dining room were uncomfortably hot. We were all sweating by the time we finished eating dinner, even with a table fan we found in the unit pointing directly at us. The kitchen faucet leaks and has clearly done so for a long time. The counter behind the sink has water damage and the dish washer has rusted where the water runs down to the floor. Also, whatever was used to clean the kitchen floor made it extremely slippery. Some kitchen mats would be helpful to prevent any serious accidents. All that said, we thoroughly enjoyed the condo and our visit. We will keep this unit on our list to book again when we come back."

"A great location with a beautiful view!
Renting our lodging was easy as could be. Blake was very helpful and responsive from the very beginning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were so happy to secure this corner unit with the amazing view and the sound of the surf. The unit was very spacious with an abundance of supplies - from cooking utensils to boogie boards to beach towels. It had a wide array of entertainment options (games and beach gear) and even had skewers for cooking out on the grill. Having a full-size washer and dryer in the unit was a real plus. We would definitely recommend this unit to anyone who considering this location. They even have a phone app, which is very helpful with property information and nearby recommendations."

We enjoyed our time in Hawaii very much. The condo was very clean and the lanai was exceptional! It was wonderful to be able to watch the whales when they made an appearance. I loved the art work in the condo. The pool was good but I would have liked to go into a hot tub as well. It was very close to the snorkeling beach and the market was right up the hill. The landscaping was well maintained. We loved watching the sunsets, there were a few that were spectacular at the golf course at the south end of the property. For the most part it was quite and peaceful. Our favorite place to eat was the Big Island Grill. Our favorite beach is Hapuna. Many thanks to the owner of the condo for sharing your space, it was wonderful!"

"Beautiful View and Excellent Accomodations
The property was great for our stay. It was clean and well maintained with all the amenities we needed. It was quiet and restful. We ate in most nights and enjoyed the waves breaking on the shore. We made a 2 day trip to Volcano National Park and had a wonderful stay at a B&B in Volcano called B&B At The End Of The Road. On the return trip to Knoa we enjoyed seeing several beautiful water falls near Hilo. We went to see the sunset at the Visitors Center on Mauna Kea. We had a great whale watching experience with Adventure X. It was a 40 minute drive so we visited Mauna Kea beach and had lunch in Kawaihae at Seafood Bar. Great food reasonably priced.

"Great ocean view condo
We loved our stay at #2-204. Being able to feel the ocean breezes and listen to the surf from either inside the condo or outside on the lanai was fabulous. It was perfect for 2 people, but 4 adults might find the living room furniture limited. However, there is plenty of comfortable seating on the lanai. The kitchen could use a little spiffing such as a block of sharp knives, but it was functional. Bathrooms and laundry were great."

The unit is beautiful with a deck overlooking the shore and you can hear the surf at night. Shopping and the highway are close by, with snorkeling at Kahalu'u Beach Park walking distance away. A quiet and peaceful home away from home."

"Great location
We've stayed at the Keauhou Surf several times over the years. While the internals of the units are somewhat dated you can't beat the location and proximity to the water. They don't build them this close anymore.
The unit and layout were great. Second floor with a corner lanai offers impressive views. Unit had your typical stocking of plates, cookware, etc. Toaster needs to be replaced.
Keauhou is a nicer area relative to the pier area if you want quite and easy access to KTA and Kam III road to the Queen K.
Great value for the price and location and we would stay again at this unit."

"Excellent place for vacation
We stayed here for 8 nights. Gorgeous view (sunset!) and clean unit. Entire condominium was well maintained. Only thing we did not like was that I guess one of the neighbors (don't know which one) was smoking, I smelled smoke when we were having a breakfast on the balcony, and someone moved in upstairs late at night, talking laud and noisy foot steps. Other than these incidents, we loved the place. "

"Quiet Place on Kona
We stayed at the condo from June 5-10th, 2 adults and 2 teenage girls. It was a lovely place! The grounds of the Surf/Racquet Club are very well kept. The condo is clean,very well furnished with lovely local Hawaiian artwork on the walls. The 2nd bedroom(not pictured in VRBO) has 2 single beds, dresser, desk, night table. There are many extras like beach towels, beach chair, umbrella, books/games/DVDs; bring your own tennis/badminton racquet or volleyball. The drive to Kailua takes 10-15min. The walk uphill to the shopping center takes about 10min. I highly recommend this property if you want a quiet, beautiful retreat with a gorgeous waterfront view."

The condo was very nice. It was great that there were boogie boards and umbrellas in the closet for our use when we were there. We also loved the use of the washer and dryer. Kitchen was adequately stocked with dishes and needed pots and pans. The pans were in poor shape but it is a rental. The view from the lanai was great. Being February, we saw several whale right from the lanai. There is not air conditioning, which being February, we did not need it. The location is close to great snorkeling and town. A bit expensive when you add in all the extra fees. "

"good unit, good supplies, great location
The unit was in good shape, was clean and also had many vacation supplies such as coolers, beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, mats and beach umbrellas. Really nice to stay in a place that made us feel welcome.
The bbq in the main common area was not good, it just could not get hot enough to cook even fish. We eventually discovered an alternate bbq in an odd location, along an unlit stone pathway near the golfcourse. This bbq worked well, although we had to bring a flashlight to see what we were doing. Odd. The strata needs to upgrade the bbq areas.

1. The person upstairs walked like an elephant. She was quite noisy.
2. There were no spices -- I had to buy salt and pepper.

"Family vacation
We enjoyed our stay in unit 2204, the wrap around lanai was wonderful and allowed for great air flow. The sunset views were terrific and it was a nightly event.
The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had almost anything you would need. There were also toys for the beach, which is very nice as everything in Hawaii is expensive.
The bathrooms are a bit dated and could use some work, especially the showers. I am not a big fan of mold and I know it is a humid climate be we have stayed in quite a few other island rentals and have not ever had any mold in the bathrooms.
Overall the unit was very nice and the complex was also a great. The pool area is nice and we also enjoyed our nightly bbq."

the only problem we had was that we were given the wrong code to open the gate into the complex. We didn't get in until midnight, and could not get our car in through entrance gate until luckily, a car exited the complex and we had to held the exit lane gate open, and then drive through the exit to get in. Not the best welcome."
