"Aged Tybee Cottage
Alittle disappointed first impression.Trash around the property;gas grill depleted;collapsed picnic table in yard;badly peeling paint on upstairs door;only common place for 13 guests to visit was screened porch. HOT!"

"Cottage was perfect
We had a great time in this cottage with five bedrooms and a whopping 11 beds. It’s close to the beach had a awesome screened in porch . Great location. Great A/C. And the island is just as special ! It was relaxing and the town was laid back the beaches were not over crowded! Great Vacation destination!"

"Great Place to Stay
Conoly Cottage was a great place for our girl scout troop to stay while we were exploring Savannah and Tybee Island. The split between upper and lower floors was perfect for our girls, they got the privacy they wanted and we were still able to hear them and be there if needed. The location was perfect, only a short walk to the beach. we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while in Georgia. Thanks so much!"

"Our stay at Conoly Cottage
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Conoly Cottage! The house was clean and spacious for the 12 of us. The short walk to the beach and the easy public access was fantastic. The home had all the accommodations we needed, a great kitchen, TV's and wifi, plenty of bathrooms, an outdoor water hose to spray off our sandy feet and an awesome screened in porch. One recommendation is to repair the broken handle on the hose bib as it was a bit difficult to turn on and off, and the edge was sharp. We would highly recommend Conoly cottage to anyone traveling to Tybee Island! "

"family reunion with space to spread out
It was great. The back porch is an excellent gathering place and very walkable to the beach. A few minor items easily ignored or fixed but otherwise a nice place to stay."

"GS Troop 130 from California to Savannah (staying on Tybee)
Our experience with the vacation rental was great. Melba was an amazing representative, very thorough and extremely helpful / responsive throughout the reservation process and during our stay. There was sufficient room for all 12 of is. All of the amenities were as described in the listing, so there weren't any surprises. Its an older home so there were things that you would expect to see needed some maintenance. We had an issue with the wash machine and Melba had someone out the next day to fix it. We loved the location, as it was close to everything on Tybee and was convenient for our trips into Savannah. We highly recommend visiting the Marine Science Center but we enjoyed the less crowded North Shore beach than the one to the south. "

"Fantastic time!
We brought a troop of Cadette Girl Scouts down to Savannah/Tybee. The house was perfect for us! Girls hung out on the big back porch, actual beds (not pullouts/sleeper sofas) for all 12 of us. A three block walk to the beach. Easy location for access to everything on Tybee. We really enjoyed the house!"
Jul 01, 2018 - Stacey S., Ann Arbor, MI

"Great trip for the Girl Scouts
We had a wonderful time at the Conoly Cottage. 10 teens and 3 adults were in town to visit the home of Juliet Gordon Lowe, but we were also able to enjoy time together at the beach and the comforts of home in the Conoly Cottage. The house is a quick walk to the beach and close to good places to eat. "

"1week rental for family to celebrate wife’s 70th birthday.
Great location. Short 2 blocks to the beach. Well stocked kitchen. Sleeps 13 great for extended families. 6 TVs. Basic rustic accommodations but it works and can’t beat the price. Advice....bring beach chairs and umbrella as only 2 chairs at House. And don’t park under the big pine tree. The sap is wicked hard to get off."
May 26, 2018 - , Brooklyn, NY

the house was big enough to accommodate us all.. we had 10 adults and 3 children. The porch is where we all hung out.. it was great. "
May 20, 2018 - Jo Ann G., Pembroke, NH

"Great house!
I loved the house! It was very clean. Plenty of parking available. There was plenty of room for the family to spread out or be together. The property manager, Melba, was easy to reach and great to work with. Will definitely stay again. "
Apr 03, 2018 - Ralph D., Columbus, OH

"The Conoly Cottage
The location of the Conoly Cottage is awesome. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. The cottage has a large screened in porch which is a great place to for everyone to relax and enjoy being together. The property manager, Melba was very friendly and very helpful during our stay at Tybee Island. "

"Troop 70484 Ambasitor Finial Vacation
The house was very nice. There were just two issues. 1. Someone was using the trash and recycle containers outside which made it difficult for ours to fit into the bins also. 2. We killed a cockroach upstairs. Only saw and killed 1.
The space worked well to have the kids upstairs and the adults on the first floor."
Jul 23, 2017 - Shelly H., Romeoville, IL

"Great House for Girl Scouts
My Girl Scout Troop wanted a few days on the beach before heading to Savannah. This house was the perfect size for us. Lots of beds, a great screened in porch and just a small walk to the beach. The only thing we thought we were going to have was a DVD players. Though that didn't stop us grin having a good time. Thanks so much!! "

"The Perfect Weekend
Jun 14, 2017 - Chandler G., Blairsville, GA

"Very Clean and Comfortable Accomodations
The pictures are deceiving. We thought the house was better than the pictures showed. The house was old, but very clean and very well decorated. A very nice house and we would stay there again. Very convenient location. The layout of the house forces congregation onto the screened porch, which was a very nice gathering place. "
Apr 18, 2017 - David W., Gainesville, GA

"Conoly Cottage
A very unique quaint cottage near the beach. The highlight of this house is the spacious screened porch. Everything you need for you beach trip (chairs, boogie boards, etc.) is there for use. House was spotless. Great job housekeeping! The only down side was having to use the outside stairs for the bedrooms upstairs. But this was not a surprise since the description indicates this situation."
Apr 06, 2017 - , Dahlonega, GA

"Quaint cottage with loads of character
Loved the cottage!"
Mar 26, 2017 - Julie D., Chattanooga, TN

" Great weekend trip
Home was as described. Lots of space to spread out. Only item not elaborated on was the fact that the "upstairs" bedroom/bath area could only be accessed from an outside staircase. "
Dec 02, 2016 - Kristine F., Dayton, OH

"Great house!!
This house was perfect for our bachelorette weekend! So much space and five minute walk to the beach! The drive into Savannah was fast too! Overall my stay here was amazing!"

"Tybee girls weekend
We had a wonderful stay on Tybee. The house was perfect for us and the rents company also. We were coming in on the midst of a small hurricane but the rental company made sure the house was in good shape and the yard even got cleaned up. The weather turned out sunny and the weekend was great."
Sep 23, 2016 - Margaret S., Brunswick, GA

It was wonderful! We enjoyed the house and it is in a great location."

"A Cottage with Character
Great stay on Tybee! We have many children ranging in age from 6 to 24 and my parents and everyone was comfortable at this old but quaint cottage by the sea. The walk to the beach was easy as was the distance to the grocery store and food places. The screened in porch was the hit of our whole group. Loved it! We will visit again and recommend to others."
Aug 17, 2016 - Fran C., Alto, GA

"Helpful Staff
Nice place to stay. Enjoyed being close to the beach and within walking distance from everything else. Had a problem with drain in the kitchen and it was fixed in no time!"
Jul 28, 2016 - Stacy T., Velpen, IN

"3 Families
We had a great time. The house had plenty of room, even for the 5 grandsons. The huge screen porch w/TV was the greatest feature of this house. The really short walk to the beach made it convenient.
The upstairs porch railing needs some attention, but did not hamper our visit.
Under the upper porch is a great storage place for beach chairs, pop-up tents, umbrellas, etc.
An outside shower would be a great addition!
Old gas grill would not light. We had to remove the grates and light it manually."
Jul 15, 2016 - David B., Inman, SC

"Console Cottage
This cottage was great for out group of 12. There were enough showers to accommodate all of us. We would recommend this cottage for a large group. The beach was close enough to walk to."
Jun 14, 2016 - , Devils Lake, ND

"Great Tybee Experience
Conoly Cottage is a great cottage. My group was family and friends. There was plenty of room for all of us to relax. The property is in a convienient location. It is well cared for, especially for a house that is nearing 100 years old. Having three bathrooms was a plus for a large group. I would definately stay there again, and reccomend it to friends. The managment staff was courteous and quick to respond to communications. "

"Perfect Place for Us
We really enjoyed our time on Tybee, and particularly our time in Conoly Cottage. It was just the perfect place for us."
May 11, 2016 - james h., Cornelius, NC

"Weekend Gateaway
We had a great time. House had to tons of beds. It was a great weekend. The only negative is, there was not enough garbage bags and toilet paper for the amount of people and the amount of time."
Apr 09, 2016 - Amy V., Forked River, NJ

"Holiday Stay
I visited Tybee recently for a March holiday. And had a great time and stay. The accommodations were excellent and had every thing we needed.(except food). Super convenient to local attractions. I appreciate the communication the agent interacted with me with as well. "
Mar 24, 2016 - , CHATTANOOGA, TN

"Long Weekend
The Conoly Cottage was perfect! There were 9 of us and we had plenty of room to move. We loved the screened in porch- spent a lot of time out there. Our walk to the beach was short and we could even walk down to the grocery store. The rental process was easy and each one of us agreed that we would stay again!
The only issue, not really an issue, but the big screen tv on the porch did not work. It would have been nice early in the morning to catch the news. "
Nov 11, 2015 - Rhonda B., Cumming, GA

"Fall Break
We enjoyed our time at Tybee. We liked the house, just a few issues. Every time we did a laundry, water backed up into both kitchen sinks. One of the steps on back porch is lose, we had to be careful not to fall. The tv on porch doesn't work. But overall we enjoyed our stay."
Oct 25, 2015 - Elaine E., Royston, Ga

"great vacationing
I really enjoyed my stay at the conoly cottage would definitely recommend to friends and family thanks for the experience!"

"Family vacation of 14
We enjoyed our stay and the management was very kind. We are planning another trip in October. "
Sep 22, 2015 - , Woodbury, TN

"Conoly Cottage was wonderful!
This house was absolutley perfect for what we needed! The house was very cute, we loved the seperation of the upstairs and downstairs! The decorations were beachy but not too overwhelming! The back porch was our favorite spot to where we all could fit comfortably in one room! The bathrooms were very nice and updated along with nice plush towels! Beds were extremely comfortable upstairs and downstairs! Very close to everything! Was a great price for what we were offered! Needless to say if we ever need a place to stay on Tybee again we will be revisting the Conoly Cottage! Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay! "
Aug 15, 2015 - , Thomasville, GA

"Quiet & Spacious spot on the island
My group had a great stay at Conoly Cottage. The booking process was super easy. Plenty of space for 12 grown-ups (lots of single beds!). Location is great - easy walk to the beach, away from the crowded spots such as the pier (you can still work to the "downtown" district, OR drive). Best part of the house: the porch (I slept there 2 nights out of 3)! "

"Savannah wedding weekend
We stayed on Tybee Island in Conoly Cottage because our son was getting married in Savannah. The wedding was during a holiday and Savannah was quite pricey because of that. We prefer renting houses or condos for vacations so we looked in the area and found Tybee Island. The management company kept us well informed and let us know that we could check in as soon as the property had been cleaned which was earlier that expected and left some lights on so we could find it after dark. The cottage was a bit different with the upstairs being totally separate with only an uncovered outside staircase for access to the downstairs (it rained almost the entire stay). The screened porch was nice to gather in and visit, we had breakfast there twice. The housekeeping was great, the kitchen was clean, the sheets and towels were all freshly washed. The kitchen was adequately furnished and supplied. The beds were comfortable, but the other furniture needs to be replaced. The house needed a good scrubbing, our feet were black if we walked on the floor without shoes. Probably will not return to Tybee Island. Cute, but much better beach communities to visit elsewhere. I can't imagine visiting at the height of spring or summer. Bring bicycles, it is not an automobile friendly community. Parking is a nightmare and expensive in the "off season" The stay fit our purposes but will probably never return."

"Family reunion
The property was a short walk to the beach. Very nice.
The house was clean but could have used a few more entry rugs to slow down the down and mud....a lot of rainy nights.
The customer service was excellent! I had questions and was tended to quickly.
I would recommend this property to friends.
We enjoyed the neighborhood, not very congested with traffic. We road on the bar bike one evening...very fun. Went into savannah for an afternoon tour. Ate at DJs and Crab Shack, both very good. Loved the atmosphere of Tybee, very laid back and country comfy not to commercialized. "

"Comfort and Convenience
We stayed at Conolly Cottage from July 5-12, 2014. We found the accommodations to be better than we expected- don't think the pics do it justice. The decorating is cute and beach appropriate. There was plenty of space for our group of 14 to be comfortable. All was clean and in working order. Screened in porch was great gathering place. Please note that 1st and 2nd floors are connected by an outside staircase. We knew this before we arrived, of course. Functionally, this presented a couple minor issues. First- you need an umbrella to get from floor to floor when it rains. Second- it does give the feeling if being in 2 separate houses to those who stay on the first floor and those who stay in the second- or maybe it was just us? Like I said- nothing major!! Close to beach if you go thru the backyard and up 8th St. All around-a great, affordable place to stay!!"

"Great for our big group!!!
We loved Conoly Cottage! It was great for a quick large family get way! It was walking distance to the beach. It had everything you needed! Completely stocked! Would definitely go back!!"
May 29, 2014 - , Hoschton, Ga

"vacation house 2014
We had a wonderful time. The house was great the beds were all comfortable except one. The down stairs pull out queen sofa was horrible. You felt the bars and sunk in. It could be replaced along with the floor in that room. However with saying that we would still stay there again. The porch was great for hanging out. It has more room than it stated and it was great. Just fix the downstairs sofa bed. "
May 06, 2014 - Toshua B., Smyrna, TN

"Christmas on Tybee
The whole family loved the cottage and the beach. It made our holiday a happy one!"
Dec 29, 2013 - Robin H., Milledgeville, GA

"Just right for a big group!
We had a fantastic stay and we had more than enough beds for our large group. Great location and very cozy, we would certainly stay there again. "
Dec 29, 2013 - Travis N., Fletcher, NC

"Conoly Cottage
We enjoyed our stay. Although knowing the house was old (1920) we were still very surprised at how dirty and dusty the house was. The ceiling fans had inches of dust on them. The walls were dirty. Other than that, it is a nice place. If it were just cleaner. And the fact that you can't get upstairs unless you go outside. We didn't know that until we got there and with kids that was a big turn off. "
