This welcoming, relaxing "split level" lower level oceanfront abode is located on a peaceful stretch of beach and includes all the comforts of home. Ocean, Catalina Island and sunset views are yours for the taking from the roomy front patio. Newport Shores restaurants and shops are a short walk away.


If you can tear yourself away from the beach, you'll enjoy remarkable views from the patio, living and dining areas. The light and bright living room has a couch, two chairs & coffee table and features hardwood floors and large flat screen TV. A large brick-hearth fireplace is the room's focal point. A half bath is just around the corner from the living area, at the base of the stairs.

The efficient, contemporary kitchen with granite counter tops and all stainless steel appliances and Keurig coffee maker is stocked with everything you'll need to whip up your own family favorites.

The dining area has a table with five captain's chairs and two stools for the counter at the kitchen entry as well as a kitschy blue hutch with decorative dishes .


Six stairs lead to the second level with four bedrooms and two baths, providing plenty of space to spread out. The master and second bedroom are on your left down the hallway - both with queen beds. A third bedroom across the hall has a twin daybed with trundle and a bathroom next door. The back bedroom has two twins and en suite bath.

Enjoy the waves crashing out front as well as sweeping ocean and Catalina Island views from sunrise to sunset on the large patio located on the sand. Younger children can play out front within sight of adults enjoying the surf & sun. Furnished with a large table and six chairs plus a couple of lounge chairs for snoozing or sunning, there's more than enough room for the whole family to pitch in grilling favorite meals on the barbecue.

The two car tandem garage includes a washer and dryer. A second refrigerator in the garage is an added bonus.


Located in West Newport, the home is handy to all of Newport Beach and just a short bike ride or drive to Huntington Beach. A nice variety of local restaurants are a quick walk away - just across Coast Highway. Wait in line with locals for Cappy's world-famous breakfast, visit Big Belly Deli for fabulous sandwiches and pizzas, Eat Chow for casual, upscale meals and Cucina Alessa for Northern Italian fare. The Spaghetti Bender has been serving up Italian specialties for the whole family since 1969.

If it becomes necessary to cancel your vacation, a notice of cancellation is required via email, fax and/or mail. Every effort via customary marketing will be made to fill the canceled leased period. A refund will be issued if the property is re-rented minus a 15% cancellation fee of the total rental rate. If your leased period is re-rented for a lesser amount, the refund will be adjusted accordingly. "Fabulous Vacation Experience
The home and Burr White service were better than expected. Thank you!"

Overall our vacation rental experience was good; however there were a few hiccups. When we arrived there was an ant trail above the kitchen sink and in the downstairs bathroom. A quick trip to the store and a can of raid fixed that. After one day we noticed that the food in the fridge was getting warm and freezer was not freezing ice. We called Burr White on Monday or Tuesday but when we left on Saturday the fridge/freezer was still not replaced. We had some food spoil and we're just hoping they will compensate for that. Unfortunately I'm disabled and was not able to run up and down the stairs to the second fridge/freezer in the garage, so had to wait for other family members to get me everything I needed - even a cold water bottle from time to time. I don't like being dependent on others, so this was a major inconvenience for me. The home itself was beautiful - decorated beautifully - and of course the beach view was exceptional which is why we chose this location. Burr White is easy to deal with - friendly representatives. I wish the fridge/freezer had been taken care of quickly, but other than that, the stay was a good one and we didn't want to leave!"

Rental has full time tenant on second floor that does not want renters there and makes his presence known. House filthy form floors to smell outside garbage cans to grease pack BBQ grill. Beds are very uncomfortable. Kitchen not stocked very well. "

We had a fabulous weekend with family at this house on the beach. Sunny weather, amazing views, and a fabulous house made for a wonderful weekend with our children and grandchildren, The large patio was perfect for our little ones to play nearby in the sand with ocean waves just steps away!
