The beach is calling at 62 Mooring Buoy! This sun-filled home is located in beautiful Palmetto Dunes, just a one-minute walk to the beach for toes in the sand. No crossing of streets, located on the beach path!

Featuring 4 bedrooms and 4 baths, there is plenty of room for the entire family. Relax in the light-filled, open-concept kitchen or great room. Enjoy multiple dining options inside and out, including a large, covered, screened-in porch! A beautifully adorned chefs’ kitchen is ready for your culinary creations. Enjoy a quick bite sitting at the kitchen island or formal dining at the whitewashed dining table.

Sweet dreams will greet you after a long day at the beach in your comfortable bedrooms. Each bedroom has a private bath! Located on the main level is the primary bedroom with a king bed, a beautiful no-threshold walk-in shower, a deep soaking tub, and a dual vanity. Bedroom #2, just down the hall, has a queen bed and a bath with a shower. Bedroom #3 has a king bed, a walkout balcony, and an ensuite with a shower. Bedroom #4 has two twin beds that can be converted into a swing king and a tub/shower combo. There is a queen-size sleeper sofa in the Great Room.

• The pool can be heated for an additional charge, give us a call for heating rates and to make arrangements. Pool heat must be scheduled at 14 days prior to arrival. Additional fees apply for last minute requests prior to arrival or after arriving at the property. If the weather drops below 60 degrees, the pool may not be capable of being heated and or reaching optimal temperature.

"Palmetto Dunes Beachhouse
The house was just as described in the listing. Renovated kitchen and downstairs bathrooms were lovely. We enjoyed eating meals on the screen porch. The pool was great! Third row location was very nice, although the beach path was quite a trek up and down a set of stairs and a couple of hills.
We had an issue with the back door in the master bedroom not locking and Island Time property managers sent someone right out to fix the problem. Highly recommend them!
We have already booked a return next year."

"Can't wait to go back!
We loved staying at 62 Mooring Buoy. It was 2 adults and our 3 young kids. We enjoyed the easy walk to the beach (2 minutes on a private beach path, which is in your backyard!), and the proximity to other locations within Palmetto Dunes. The beds were very comfortable, and the home was very well stocked with anything you could need. All of the items were in good condition, too, which is sometimes hard to find in a rental home. We loved everything about this house, and we can't wait to return. Island Time staff was also very responsive and accommodating. We enjoyed working with them!"

"Fabulous Beach House
We rented a beautiful house that was a 2 minute walk to the beach. The house was spacious, beautifully decorated, clean, well appointed. It had a gas grill that we used to cook dinner, a gorgeous pool to swim in each afternoon. We had a wonderful week with our family. Island Time was very responsive when we had a minor issue. There are 4 bedrooms, the master suite is very spacious with a fabulous bathroom and walk in shower. Each bedroom had an en-suite bath with the exception of one bedroom on the main level and that bathroom was right next to the bedroom. A very large screened in porch, the owners thought of everything. We loved it so much we have already booked for next year!!"

"We loved this house and Island Time!
We were supposed to stay in this house for 2 weeks but because of nearby construction, Island Time offered us a house up the street for a week to avoid the noise. This worked out great. Haleigh was a great help from the beginning to the end. She was all about customer service and we appreciated her patience. They moved our beach gear and offered other help that went above and beyond. Thanks so much. When we got to this house, we were thrilled. It is so open and airy. The screen porch is the best. It was the best equipped home that we have ever stayed at and we have been coming to HH for 20 years (however, a Keurig would be nice). Thanks to the owners for being flexible with the plans."

"Wonderful!
This is my second year at 62 Mooring Buoy and I have already booked this home for next year. This house has everything you could want in a beach vacation. My family especially loves the screened-in porch and thoroughly enjoy our coffee in the morning just sitting and relaxing on the porch. Being right on the beach path is wonderful as it makes getting back and forth to the beach so easy. The pool may be a little small for some but we have no issues with it. Island Time is easy to deal with and called twice to see if we had any issues with the house. Overall a wonderful stay and cannot wait to come back next year and see the upgrades."

"Good house that could be great
The Good: great location with easy beach access, nice (smallish) pool, large rooms, well furnished, great screened porch, comfy beds, people at Island Rentals could not be nicer or more responsive.
The Bad: Very unpleasant sulfur smell from the water in upstairs bathrooms. Started the week as nauseatingly strong, improved to mildly unpleasant. Would not rent again unless this was resolved.
The Needs Work: Kitchen overstocked (dishes/cutlery,glassware) and cluttered. Needs re-organizing. Upstairs water lukewarm. Grill rusty. Back deck in need of repairs.
Fixing the water odor issue and some other minor problems would make this a truly great house for a family or small group of friends."

"Great Location, Ok House
We really enjoyed the location. The house is right on path to the beach and quick 2-3 minute walk to the beach. The beach location is fantastic, not busy and away from busy condo areas. The new pool was great for our 6 and 9 year olds, it is smaller than what we normally find at HHI. It was brand new though, so pool furniture was nice. The house has nice open spaces and fantastic enclosed back porch. Only complaint is we had no cold water filtered water in fridge and had to buy bottled water for the full two weeks. Smoke alarms had battery issues and woke us up 2 times at 4am in the morning. House needs updated and a good deep clean."

"Nice house and location but maintenance issues.
The house was nice. We liked the layout, furnishings were generally as expected. The outdoor area was also generally nice with the exception of lighting that did not work on deck with grill and the path lights. The bamboo should be replaced with something less invasive. Our complaints have more to do with the management company not doing their job as one would expect. Sunday morning I attempted to use the microwave and found it in very poor condition, with no turntable and rust in the door and floor. When I contacted Island Time and reported the problem, I was told the message would be given to the supervisor. No one ever came or contacted us at all. The light over the range was burned out. Curling of the ends of rugs in the kitchen was a constant tripping hazard. When using the grill, the propane gave out when the food was about 1/2 cooked. I would think there would be inspections and a checklist of potential issues by the management company which receives payment for managing."

"Perfect Spring Getaway
We had a great stay at 62 Mooring Buoy. To update an earlier review, the property exterior has been updated by a new owner, including a lovely little pool. The pool is located in the "front" yard which I think is important to note, but there is a ton of landscaping/vegetation between it and the road so it feels very private and safe. The house was very clean and has a really nice layout, especially for families with kids (two somewhat lofted bedrooms and a master on the first floor). The location is awesome, so close to the beach. A great stay and we'll be back!"

"62 Mooring Buoy Guests
Great location on towpath! Clean, spacious home. We're a family of four and would stay at this property again. The main living room area was super spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed the screened in porch. The property grounds can use a lot of attention. There's a water feature of some sort off the deck which was a convening ground for very noisy frogs, which disrupted our sleep initially. Aside from that, however, the property was great! "

"Nice home, great location
We just enjoyed a week at this Palmetto Dunes home. The property is in a great location and a quick two minute walk to the beach. The beach access path runs directly beside the house. The home is in need of some minor updates but very comfortable for our stay and had everything we needed. The washing machine had a lot of sand in it when I started to use it and had to be cleaned out. I’m sure it was just an oversight by the cleaning staff. I appreciated the extra towels, dishwasher tabs and trash bags that were left for our use. "
