"Great view and easy access to the beach from our condo
We asked for and got a great view 8th floor condo and fairly easy access during pool hours to the beach. Nice complex and minutes to excellent restaurants...very pleased!"

We stayed in this unit for a family vacation. The views from the balcony were amazing! There was plenty of seating inside and out. The beds were comfortable. One of the bathrooms has been renovated and is really nice! The kitchen, while a little dated, was more than sufficient for a week of family beach fun. Loved this place! "

"7 day beach rental
We rented 2 units 901 was perfect in all ways. Furnishings, renovation work was great, location was great, household appliances were all excellent, and cooking utensils were all new. 2nd stay was in 804. Unit is tired. Needs remodeling and furniture update. Appliances and cooking utensils are out of date and need to be replaced. The stars rating is for unit 804."

"Tides 804
Rental was clean and had everything we needed. The view was beautiful and the facilities were great. My boys got a lot of use out of the basketball and pickleball and it was nice that the equipment was provided amd in good shape. The only issue we had was that by renting from Gibson, we were not allowed to use the fitness center (they said other rental companies had this available to them). Overall we had a fantastic trip!"

Unit was clean and the week was great. We had great weather and because this unit was Gulf view we enjoyed both the beach and our time in the unit.
Kitchen faucet was loose and there were no keys to the lock box."

"Great view but could be in better shape.
First impression was discouraging with a text at 4:17pm (we arrived about 30 minutes later) that the kitchen sink was clogged by the previous guests. This was not resolved until the next day at 11am. It stunk and there was brown, dirty water sitting in both sinks and the dishwasher rendering them unable to use. We had to rewash half of the utensils in the drawer and the items in the dishwasher. The metal balcony chairs were peeling and rusted, and the faux wicker lounger was broken. The refrigerator had a shelf that was broken/disassembled. The front bathroom ceiling had a large hole exposed where a "patch" had been put in. The master bath shower was roomy. Having the covered parking space was very handy and we appreciated the availability of the beach umbrella and 2 chairs in the room. "

If we go back to that area I will want the same place.
Gibson was great when there was a power outage they text and tried to stay on top of it. Wasn’t the properties fault but very kind gesture. "

"Great condo on the beach
Spent two months at The Tides in Condo 804. Condo was perfect for our stay. Had all the things we needed to make the place our home for the time. Staff were very responsive if we had questions, needed help or something fixed. Great location to stores and State Parks for walking/biking trails. Complex also had great walking. Best part was the view - it can't be beat. Amenities - mini golf, tennis, pickleball, shuffleboard are all there to enjoy. Open your eyes in the morning and you are looking at the ocean and the sand."

"Convenience
The condo location and layout of room was great. The only thing I would change is the convenience for wheelchairs, strollers, wagons. My father is 92 and pretty dependent on his wheelchair. There was a ramp on the side of the condo we tried to get access to but was told it was only for staff. We had to go all the way around the front of the building to the next condo and use their ramp to get access to the pool with no steps. This was very inconvenient."

"Family leisure trip
From the time of booking until the time I left everything went very smooth. The condo was great and had everything we needed The view and easy access to the pool and beach area was great. The bedroom with the bunk bed really needs a ceiling fan or a box fan because that room was hot compared to the other rooms in the condo. Highly recommend this condo and Gibson Rentals."

"Great Family Vacation
Traveled with my young family for a 1-week stay. The room was incredibly clean and the view was incredible. My kids loved the heated pool and it was nice having the bar & grill on the pool deck. Location was tucked away off main road which made it feel more secluded. Quiet resort. Beach was great. We would stay again for sure. Only a few issues and not major.....1) Not a lot of staff on site and no visible management should an issue had arised. 2) Amenities (mini golf and shuffle board) were below average."

"Great Family Trip
We had a great time with our three children. The location was great in that it boarders an undeveloped area keeping the beach less crowded. It is also located across the street from Baytown warf. The condo was just as expected. It would have been nice to have some sort of pantry or shelves for groceries but it was nice that all of the cabinets were stocked with plates, cups, bowls, etc... overall the view was great and we had a wonderful time. "

"Topsl Tides/ Gibson beach rental perfection
We love it here!!! We’ve even stayed in the same unit two years in a row! However, this year the double bed needs replacement so I may consider renting a different unit next year. Hopefully they can replace the mattress soon so we can continue to rent the same unit. Topsl Tides has everything you need! Amazing pool! Wonderful food at the bar!! However my husband left is hat and sunglasses at the pool area and they were never turned into lost and found, but that was a small set back in an otherwise perfect week! Also the rental chairs seemed to be very close together this year making it hard for the people on the beach to have a nice view and comfort getting to and from the beach. The chairs should be a little more spread out. Thank you very much! Amazing customer service with Gibson beach rentals!!! Thank you thank you!"

"October 2017 - Tides Building
Very well maintained property from the grounds to the pool areas leading out to the beach. The room was well taken care of and met our needs perfectly as a family of 5. The location was better than expected as the Tides building was the next to last high rise on the beach before the area turned into beach front homes. This made the area seem more secluded than other ocean front properties I've stayed in. Plenty of room on the beach to spread out and not feel like you were sitting right on top of other guests. This could have been the time of year....but it was still a plus. "

We loved how we could get down to the pool and the beach in just a short amount of time. The Gibson beach rental staff was very helpful. "

Gibson Beach Rental company was great. They delivered packages shipped in advance to the condo prior to our arrival and called us toiletries know we could check in early. I loved the app - made it so simple.
The condo was fine. Nothing extraordinary just fine, but the price was great. We have stayed in other Topsl units before that were nicer, but also pricier. For as much time as we spent in the condo, we were satisfied. "

We enjoyed our stay! Loved the location of the unit and love that they have bunk beds and a double bed in the second bedroom. I brought mine in case, but it was nice that there was a hair dryer on the wall in the master and little shampoo and conditioner bottles. Made it feel more like a hotel that a vacation rental which can be sparse on extras like that."

"Wonderful condo with a gorgeous view!
We just came home from a week long stay at tides 804. We were very happy with the condo. 4 adults and 3 kids fit very comfortably.The view is amazing! The condo description was very spot on! We definitly plan on returning in the future! I had called ahead a few times and the Gibson beach rental staff were extremely nice and accommodating about my questions and helped provide me with a company to rent a full sized crib and beach stroller for my 5 month old. My only suggestion for the resort itself would be to have a ramp to get to the beach. Having to carry a stroller through several sets of stairs was a little bit of an inconvenience. "

"Perfect Spot for our family vacation
We were looking for an ocean view condo with access to the beach, a pool and a basketball hoop (for our 3 boys) and we found the perfect spot!!! We loved the unit - the perfect size for our family of 5, with the bunks AND a double bed in the kids' room, and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony and even cooked a few meals in the fully equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the simple access to the pools, hot tub, and beach, and the boys loved playing basketball, tennis and mini golf every day! And how convenient to have toys to borrow from the office - available to all! Having a private covered parking spot was a bonus, too! It kept our van out of the hot summer sun! The views and beach were gorgeous, the amenities were great, we enjoyed the staff at the beach, pool and the grill! We had a great vacation! We would definitely come back!"

"Beach stay, summer 2015
The condo and beach experience were great but there were weddings both Friday AND Saturday night, in which there was no access to the pool and grill area. We felt that we would be intruding if we used the beach also, since the alter was set up directly on Topsyl property. We will not return if weddings are held during our stay. We decided to stay in and grill fish on the grill, but there was no propane in the Topsyl grill and no method of getting some on a Saturday evening."

"Kid friendly ocean front condo
Very clean and kid friendly condo. Perfect location and plenty of amenities. Only complaint was there was a light out in the master bath that was never fixed after we asked and didn't seem to be as much items as last year In the condo (toilet paper, paper towels Etc...) but would stay there again! "

"Great week at the beach
The location on the beach for this condo is excellent. The property to the west is homes & then a nature preserve. For Spring Break week we did not have a problem getting a spot on the water each day. The condo was nice and pretty much exactly as it was described. The one shortcoming was the fact that other than pots and pans the condo comes with absolutely nothing. In the past when we have rented condos they at least have cleaning products and some left over spices. We would love to come back and next time I will just bring a few more supplies. "

"Beyond expectations
The moment I walked into the unit it just seemed to scream relaxation. Incredibly clean! Very convenient with the local malls, restaurants and other San Destin attractions. Incredible ocean front view. The gentle roar of the ocean was very relaxing. The occasional Dolphin siting was nice. An added bonus which we didn't know was that the owner had a few chairs and umbrella for us to use, nice touch! Internet signal was great (for days I had to work)"

Perfect location to enjoy all of the amenities. On the beach with a great view of the ocean and the pool. 2 private rubico tennis courts with putt putt course for the kids. Lots of beach toys and equipment available for daily rental for free in the office building on the 1st floor in the condo. Very convenient. Room easily fit 2 adults and 6 kids. "

The stay was good, the condo was for the most part what we expected the couch could use a cleaning and or updating. Did not enjoy the cleaning lady standing outside about 30-45min before we where suppose to be checked out of the condo. I understand she had a job to do but it would have been nice to not have been made feel like we where being rushed out. "

"Wonderful Condo
Everything was wonderful, except my computer put the room code in my Junk box of my email and I almost did not get in the room. I tried to call that Sunday, but they do not have any one to answer emergency calls. I finally found the code in my junk email after someone at Tops'l Resort was nice enough to help me connect to internet on my computer. The View were great and the condo was great, but I do not like the fact that no one would answer the phone on Sunday."

Condo was a lot bigger then it looks in the pictures, everyone had a nice time! We had 2 families with 4 kids under 4 everyone was very comfortable and plenty room for all! Nice pools and nice big balcony to see the beach.
