"Great experience
The stay and accommodations were perfect. The first impression of the local area was a bit rough, as the grocery store was very dirty,as was the closest local beach. Fortunately we planned a visit to Padre Island National Park about 35 minutes away. We ended up seeing sea turtles released, and drove down the beach to an area with no one else in sight. Coming back to Port Aransas was a much better experience, as the local restaurants and stores gave us a better 2nd impression. Thanks for this great place, great communication, clean room and overall great vacation!"

"Great Place!
Spring Showers was a great clean place to stay. The furniture and decor were updated and the a/c worked great. The kitchen came with everything you need to cook a small meal. The unit was perfectly located within minutes from the beach and local shopping and eateries. We will definitely stay here again! "

"Romantic Little Cottage
Great little cottage, excellent location. Very happy with our stay here. Easy check in and check out procedures. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Mattress wasn’t that comfortable but we were so exhausted from day activities we fell right asleep. "

"Awful Stay.
First off they told me I could rent being 19, then the day of after driving 3 and a half hours they then told me I had to be 25. I just used my mothers ID haha lol get rekt. Then we found a big roach on the floor crawling about. When we showered there was no plastic liner so it kept sticking to us, it got water everywhere, there was no drying matt outside the shower either. The parking is incredibly cramped! "

"Perfect getaway cottage in Port A.
The cottage was small but perfect for a couple. It was centrally located, close to the beach, great restaurants and shopping on the island. The bathroom is very small and doesn’t have a vanity or any kind of cabinets but with a little bit of give and take you can make it work."

"Great little place
We went for business/ pleasure. It rained all weekend and we left a night early but... we would stay here again. The coffee maker was broken when we arrived but it didn’t affect the operation of brewing, I just couldn’t steal a cup!! ���� The only disappointment was that the listing said no pets, so I didn’t bring my little dog.... But other cabanas had dogs and they barked allot. "

"Perfect Getaway! Can't wait to return!
This was the perfect little cottage getaway for the weekend. It has a full kitchen and you can save a lot of money by cooking your own meals at home. The welcome text did say that the refrigerator and A/C can freeze up if you turn them all the way down but we never had any problems. And we moved the thermostat down gently and incrementally and made it to a chilly 70 at night with no problems! The welcome message reminds you to bring your own personal soap and they mean it! there is no shampoo or body wash supplied- not even to wash your hands. Also, no beach towels are provided. It is also a good idea to stop for a bag of ice on your way as they only supply two ice trays. A few drawbacks were that the Queen sheets were obviously low budget and uncomfortable. The other drawback is that the bathroom is tiny and inches away from the bed. So if you're a new couple that's not completely comfortable around each other, you're going to get comfortable pretty quickly! The bathroom pocket door also did not lock. I LOVED that the wifi was private and they even have a DVD player if you want to bring a movie to watch. The room was walking distance to everything, including the beach, but you'll probably want to just rent a golf cart or buy a beach parking pass because everywhere we went had plenty of parking. Overall, even with the minor inconveniences like the bathroom privacy and firm sheets, we will gladly go back anytime! Well worth it!"

"Cute Cottage by the Sea
This small, cozy cottage was so clean and comfortable! They have thought of everything you could possibly need and put it into this cute efficiency for two. The nice interior decorating is perfect for a stay at the beach. This is a great place to unwind and take a break. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby and the beach only a half mile drive from the cottage."

"Disappointing experience
The property looked lovely but had roaches. Also the property two doors down was being renovated with construction noise from 8am until after 10pm for days. I did enjoy visiting the beach!"

"Super clean and easy access
Super clean and cute little cottage. Came down to enjoy the cranes and was perfect for me. Good wifi, and easy to get to. Didn't have some expected amenities like coffee filters that you might get with private owners, but not a huge deal. And the app and office made checking in/out and correspondence really easy and convenient."

This is an excellent small studio cottage that beats staying in a hotel or motel. It has everything you need except a full refrigerator which no one expects. Could not have had a better getaway. Five Stars. The front door has a window and there is no curtain or cover for the window so anyone can look in."

Unit G was clean with fresh towels, bed linens, dishes, upon arrival. Bed was adequately comfortable and we found appliances in good working order. Bring your own coffee and spices if you plan to cook in the unit as only coffee filters were provided with the coffee pot. Good location within walking distance to the beach. Property Management seemed a bit clinical and indifferrent. Upon departure, rather than asking "How was our stay?" we were asked " Anything to report?" Maybe I expected more based on my many years as a hospitality executive. "

It was very uncomfortable not having a curtain over the window on the front door. Found an earring in my bed which makes me think it was not freshly made. Lastly they say that they give 1st responders discounts, i told them that i was a first responder and no discount..

Sorry to say I wasn't able to stay the allotted time do to a family emergency, however the stay was more than ok but felt a bit strange not being able to close off the entire outside with the front door glass. My wife and I felt uncomfortable having our sleeping area compromised throughout the evening. "

"Lovely getaway
This little cottage had it all. Beautifully decorated, it had everything we needed to have a relaxing stay. It was super clean, which is one of our musts. The kitchen has all you need to prepare meals.
The location is quiet and is only a short walk to the beach.
Would definitely go back.
A few hangers in the closet and a bath mat for the shower would be helpful. "

"Not so clean getaway
The property is beautiful. The décor give the whole "beach vibe" a whole new meaning. It really is decorated beautifully. Then you look a little closer... Someone else's sand was still all over the coffee table. So it clearly had not been wiped down. There were chunks of God only knows what in the kitchen sink. And the absolute worst was the shower curtain. I understand keeping the beach vibe with the "beachy" shower curtain. But it may be a good idea to change it out every guest with one that is washable. The shower curtain liner (you know the vinyl one) was absolutely disgusting. It touched my leg when I got in the shower and noticed it was slimy. When looking at it you could see all the dead skin goo all over it! The white vinyl shower curtain was PINK with dead skin cells, soap, shampoo, etc. I almost fell from trying to get away from it! Needless to say it was very disappointing. The comforter had blood stains like someone had a small cut and wiped it on the comforter. There were no extra linens. No clean top blanket you could use instead. The pillows were terrible and no pillow cases for the pillows in the closet. The only extra linen found was a bed skirt. My husband drives a large 4 door pickup truck... and so did everyone else that was staying in this small community. Needless to say, the parking is very tight. Just came away disappointed that this place was lacking. I think the management company needs to hire a better cleaning company and maybe some better reusable/extra linens. I hope future tenants will not have the same problem we did. "

"Cute and Convienent
Really liked the extra room this provided over a regular hotel room. Quiet neighborhood and very close to the beach. Decorated nicely with a lot of kitchen utensils.
I did report to the managing company a few small issues with cleaning that needed to be addressed. I would also like to advise the owner that they need to provide some kind of window curtain/blind over the front door. The mattress did not seem to be new like everything else as we kept rolling to the center. The front door dead bolt did not work and the coffee pot was also broken, and I was amazed to find there were no hangars provided. There was a closet but can't hand anything without a hangar. Should probably list that as an item not provided.
Overall it was a nice place if you don't mind not having a pool available."

"fine place for a weekend getaway
Overall this was a good place. The location was pretty good, although in the middle of Texas summer the several block walk to the beach with all of your beach gear is not super "convenient" in the end. However, driving access to restaurants, etc was extremely convenient, with lots of good places just 3-5 mins away. Putting "walk to the beach" in the title of the listing might be a bit of an overstatement for most guests.
The place was clean and tidy and had the basic necessities covered, although a couple of small recommendations we would make are that at least a couple of hooks should really be installed in the bathroom to hang shower towels. It was also a bit disappointing that there was no coffee available, which is pretty normal for these kind of accommodations. We also thought it was a bit funny and sort of strange to not have any photos in the picture frames. Why were they even there?? Obviously these things didn't make a huge impact on our stay, but would just be things for the property to consider improving. "
