Cancellations: As an initial deposit, we take 50% of the reservation total at the time of your booking. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the card on file 60 days prior to your arrival date.

Should you need to cancel prior to final payment (60+ days prior to arrival date), you will receive a full refund of your initial deposit minus a $100 Cancellation Fee.

Cancellations made after final payment (within 60 days of arrival date), are not eligible for refund. You are financially responsible for the entire amount of the reservation. Please consider purchasing travel insurance in order to be eligible for reimbursement of non-refundable prepaid travel expenses.

Refunds: Conditions beyond our control i.e. weather, road conditions, power outage, government mandated travel restrictions, TV outage, phone outage, Wifi outage, Hot tub problems or guest emergencies do not constitute a basis for refunds.

"our stay at Above & Beyond
The location was good. The home is a bit unusual with all the angles but works for the main level. Going downstairs the steps were deigned on an angle too, which is dangerous! The bedroom downstairs is some what claustrophobic in nature and the additional Hide-a-Bed was bad! Some of the windows & sliding doors would not open, or were very difficult to open.
Many of the windows and glass doors were filthy. The driveway was steep, narrow & curved making it difficult to get in & out. Kitchen clean! If I were to rate this house on a 1 to 10 scale, I would give the upstairs a 7 & the downstairs a 3. We are all around 70 in age and would not rent this again but a younger group would be more comfortable with the many stairs... "

"GREAT house!
Unique but GREAT house! Great kitchen, huge dining room, beds are very comfortable, hot tub was amazing, and the view was spectacular! Definitely would stay at this house again. Everyone in our group agreed! Would have loved to have spent more time outside enjoying the different balcony/decks, but plan to be back. The neighborhood was great! The HOA's are a little annoying, but that's anywhere that has an HOA."

"Renters Beware!
We were extremely shocked by this rental to the point that we could not stay there. It is an older structure with the cement driveway cracked and slanting toward the ravine. The entry courtyard was dirty and had odd pieces of cement scattered about. The rooms are narrow and claustrophobic and the stairs to the bedrooms steep and unsafe. When we spoke to the property management company they were extremely rude and unwilling to hear the issues relating to the property. They refused to give us any refund even though we did not spend one night there. They then texted us to say that they would not discuss our concerns further."

"Beautiful Views and Great House
We made a last minute booking to get away from the heat in Sacramento and "Above and Beyond" did not disappoint. The house itself is beautiful with lots of places to relax, we made dinner at home every night and there were great tools to make fantastic meals. The views were great and the neighborhood very quiet and peaceful. The property managers were great communicators and very helpful. This was our third trip to Dillon Beach and this house is by far our favorite and will hopefully be back here again soon."

"Nice Peaceful Getaway
Nice spot for a family getaway to celebrate my husband’s 70th Birthday.
Unusual architecture provided views from every space. We had perfect clear weather and enjoyed beautiful sunsets from the roof deck.
The courtyard was great for barbecuing and a nice space for our dog to hang out.
Unfortunately, the massive windows were dirty and the lower deck wind protection enclosure was filthy, so no time was spent in that area. The hot tub was cloudy. The “dog run” was not clean and dangerous as it is enclosed with plastic that a dog could slip under and down the cliff.
The stairs inside the house to the lower level are slanted and had to be careful navigating. We were disappointed that the darts for the dartboard are all broken.
Despite these negative issues, we enjoyed our stay, but would definitely look into other places for our next visit."

"Fall Vacation 2022
We weren't very happy with the house. Really did feel that it was over sold. YES...beautiful view regardless of the extremely dirty windows, but an extremely uncomfortable stay! We found almost every piece of furniture in the house to be very uncomfortable. I'm confused by this because why wouldn't you want your guests to be comfortable? Sheets on the beds were dirty; found a hair ball on the top sheet of the master bed. No linens supplied for the horrifically uncomfortable futon. Dirty cover on the stained sofa sleeper mattress downstairs. The grounds directly around the house could be better taken care of. We just felt in general that the house advertised did NOT match up to the actual experience. So disappointed! "

We loved our stay in Dillon Beach. We had 5 audults. The house was beautiful, the views stunning and the area was fabulous. The description and pictures matched the home and the house was clean. We loved the large dining room and sitting areas (inside and outside) and the hot tub. We cooked many meals in the kitchen which was well equipped. We would recommend the property to friends."

"Great Ocean Views!Outside Yard/Courtyard Photos NOT CURRENT!
Was it incorrect for us to assume the photos on VRBO were current & updated? Well they Are NOT, for the exterior & inside courtyard!!
The advertised picture of a “ stunning rooftop view”, with gorgeous ocean, is NOT what you see!! Your eyes notice the rusted out metal furniture in front of gorgeous ocean view!! Also the yard in front has pairs of rubber boots, a small shovel sticking out of ground, wood debris and a large rusted metal boat, with the hook up ends covered with large white painters plastic buckets.
The Current view from hottub this weekend was Not the advertised photo of a stained glass table. Currently there are broken clay pots on tree stumps & on hillside. There are NO beautiful hanging pots that are in your advertised photo. Of course ocean stunning view.
The advertised pics do NOT match your description of “ of an amazing enclosed courtyard and villa”. Villa means “ large and Luxurious” by definition. The "courtyard outdoor kitchen " is NOT as advertised. Current condition is rusty counter & rusty gas grill not fit for cooking!!There is old metal garbage around courtyard & rusted out grills!
Grateful that this is a dog friendly property, but be aware of safety it unreasonable to expect for the nitely rate of $900 plus with fees, that this be cleaned up& install a real fence for the advertised “ enclosed dog yard”, vs tarps on metal posts that are tearing with garbage & metal under home in dog area?

We just spent 3 nites at 46 Kona Ln, Dillion Beach. Absolutely, deer & ocean views are stunning!!! Kitchen well stocked for cooking and usable appliances!! And ocean view from hot tub & home stunning!!! Comfy beds!Interior mostly as advertised! "

"Not what I expected based on photos!!
Cleaners were still cleaning after 4pm check in and I had groceries getting spoiled. House was remodeled but whoever did the work was poor at finish work. Bathtub did not work. Lights were flickering. Toilet paper holder was hanging out of wall. Very dissatisfied for the price. I had to plunge the upstairs toilet twice. "

"Lovely House & View, Communication Could Improve
The pictures didn’t do the house justice. It was much bigger than we thought, with a large courtyard and roof top deck, and just outside the house was a full Dillon beach and Tomales Bay view. You can hear the waves crash from the balcony! The hot tub was a gem with a snippet of a view of the ocean.

The only downfall was communication with the managing staff. The property materials share (and you should know) there is basically no signal at the house (maybe one intermittent Verizon/AT&T bar). If the Wi-Fi is out, you can’t even do Wi-Fi calling and no working remotely. We had a few issues with power outages (almost 48 hrs) and reached out to them a few times, asking that they call or text, not email. Unfortunately, they kept mostly emailing us instead of returning our calls so we were out of the loop with most updates/communications with those managing the property. We had to call PGE on our own to figure it out. I will say that they offered us a complimentary night for our troubles to help rectify any issues.

Clean house with almost all the amenities you’d need. I would say that they have 100 spices there, but you’ll need to bring salt and cooking oil- none available at the property. You’ll also need detergent if you want to wash clothes. Definitely bring a jacket, the wind chill is real. "

"No Squares or Rectangles
My wife and I stayed at the “Above and Beyond” property for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The house itself is a rather unusual design with interesting shaped rooms (no squares or rectangles), lots of windows and doors, and excellent lighting. We enjoyed spending time in most all of the rooms and really liked the various patios. The house was very clean, the kitchen was more than adequate, and the internet service was stellar. Of note is the very responsive assistance provided by Wine Country to Coast Vacation Rentals. "
