"Queens Grant 2023
We stayed in Queens Grant Unit 617 for our annual week on HHI. We used various rental companies in the past but this was our first time using Island Rentals of HH. I will definitely use this agency again for future trips. The unit was well maintained, was clean and came with high quality beach chairs and 4 adult bikes. We had one issue with the unit during our stay when a contractor in the vicinity hit a water line. Certainly not the fault of Island Rentals but when I called about not having running water in the unit, they were very professional, researched the issued and called back within 30 minutes letting us know the situation. I was also very impressed with their check in communication and allowing us to check in 3 hours early. Very nice when you have a dog on a hot SC afternoon. It was a great experience. The unit was about a 10 minute walk from the beach, which made trips to the beach very convenient."

very nice accomodations. loved the location, close to golf course, pickelball, beach. loved palmetto dunes. the bicycles were of great use and very appreciated. would have rented this unit for four weeks in 2024 but it was unavailable, so we booked another unit through island rentals.

"Wonderful Stay
We loved this villa. Perfect location! A short walk to the Palmetto Dunes general store. Quick bike ride to the beach. Many updated features in the unit along with a very nice gated deck. Perfect spot for our vacation with our pooch!"

The unit was perfect for our family of 4. We loved not having to bring chairs or rent bikes. It was a 5 minute walk to the General Store and a 10 minute walk from the unit’s door to where we set up our chairs on the beach."

"Love this place!
This is a very charming, well appointed unit! This is our second time staying in this unit and we absolutely love it. Everything is updated. Bathrooms are gorgeous, beds are super comfortable with extra blankets and pillows. The deck is our favorite, private, well maintained with a small railing all around which is great for our dog. There is a trunk of beach supplies, chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, pool noodles. Deck has comfortable seating and an umbrella for plenty of shade in the afternoon. And, you cannot beat the location--Palmetto Dunes is gorgeous. You are just a short walk or bike ride away from the beach and the general store (so convenient), is just right around the corner. Our only challenge is the parking lot has very small spaces, so it can get a little tight. Overall, totally worth that one very small drawback to enjoy this beautiful place. They have even updated since our last visit, installing a gas fireplace which is gorgeous. We will return here every year!"

"Wonderful 9 days
I usually have to clean a little every stay. Not this time! The unit was extremely clean! The unit was lovely! Plenty of seating for all 5 of us!
The sheets looked to have been ironed! The master smelled wonderful. I’d like to know if they had an air conditioner fragrance and if so what was the scent? The master bed was extremely comfortable!
The walk to the beach was very convenient!
The pools were cleaned every day.
Best of all it was pet friendly and the deck on the back had a gate, so our pup, could squirrel watch! The units were insulated, apparently, for sound. We only heard dogs barking if outdoors.
The bikes, we didn’t ride, although there were 4 furnished.
Mid island location makes it perfect to both sides of the island.
The kitchen was very well appointed. The only thing missing was a K-cup coffee maker but I found one at Belk for $25. Yes we were extremely pleased! Thank you!

"Summer Relaxation Vacation
Instead of a long narrative, we will be to the point. We loved the unit and the location, and being able to bring our dog topped the list. We had our son, daughter-in-law, and 2 grandsons. First, upon inspection on arrival by the 2 women, we all commented it was very clean. Second, the 2 women said right away there was no hair dryers and did not bring one. I called the office, and it was explained not routinely provided(and actually was not listed as an ammenity) since they tend to disappear. However, she IMMEDIATELY said that they would deliver 2 to our unit! The women were very happy. Then on day 2, we discovered that the drip coffee maker was just worn out and would not brew, and the dryer filter had a sharp edge on it. Shortly Jay arrived with a new coffee maker, and ordered the filter replacement and delivered it the next morning. The customer service was noticed and greatly appreciated by all. We last month had an unhappy experience with a rental company in North Carolina, where the unit was not clean as we expected and the listed coffee maker was not present and had been commented if reviews for at least 4 months. All we got was a meek apology for the uncleanliness, and an off to refund us $10 to go buy a bag of coffee. Thus, Island Rentals of Hilton Head made some big fans, and we will gladly use them again and refer to them. Back to the unit, we loved the bikes and rented 2 additional and loved riding extensive bike trails. The shuttle to the beach was very friendly and fast, and they would take the beach chairs, etc(provided in the unit). We enjoyed this trip and look forward to returning."

"Beautiful condo
We loved our stay in this condo. It had everything we needed for a comfortable seat. It was beautifully decorated and very clean. The location was perfect and only a couple minutes from the beach. Our one and only complaint is that there was a very strong musty smell almost as if it had been smoked in. The smell was manageable with the help of heavy duty air freshener and some candles. "

"Queens Grant perfect get away
The Condo was lovely - very clean and well maintained. It looks like it has had recent updates and they are lovely. Loved the reclining chairs in the lounge. The bikes and beach equipment is a thoughtful touch. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great but the accommodation made us feel like we were at home. We would certainly recommend this condo for families all ages as it’s safe, clean and accessible. "

"Fantastic
We sadly just came home two days ago. The condo was wonderful. Clean, nicely decorated, and inviting. We traveled with our dog and 3 adult children 23-27.We were so glad to find this gem. My ONLY complaint and this has been at almost every condo that we have rented are that the mattresses and pillows need to be replaced. I understand that is a big purchase but its important. I feel that the beds need to be comfortable. To be honest these were the best of the condos that we have rented on any of our past vacations. We always stay in condos. It much more comfortable for us that way. So over the past 25 years this place had the best of them. The condo is beautiful and we really enjoyed it. We highly recommend it and will rent it again in the future. Thank you again for the great vacaition."

"fun family trip
This was our first time in Hilton Head, we had such a good time it won't be our last. Palmetto Dunes was a great place and our rental unit in Queens Grant section was great, it had lots of room and everything was updated and was stocked with everything you needed, plus it was pet friendly which we needed so we could bring our little fur baby with us for the week. The bikes were also a great addition.Renting from Island Rentals was a smooth process and contactless. Over all everything was great and can't wait to return.
Rental was as nice in person as the pics show you.

"Hilton Head Haven
My husband and I had a wonderful time at this property. Nicely appointed and came with everything you could need for your stay on the island. We have stayed in another condo in the same complex & would choose this one over that simply because of all the ammenities provided. Beach chairs, bikes, umbrellas, & sand toys all make the time even more enjoyable.
Took 1 point off Communication because weirdly they have you pay 2nd half of stay directly towards them not on VRBO. Which unfortunately adds an additional nominal fee unless you're willing to do an echeck. I always give people credit cards for that extra buffer of security so I was not apt to do that. Also we had to reach out to them to make that payment which was during regular business hours Mon-Fri which makes it sort of annoying when you expect to just make your next payment thru VRBO whenever it's convienent.
However, we really enjoyed our time there & would book this rental again. Also unexpected pleasure came from the Hospitality app they send you a link to download. Had all of the information incliding WiFi password, door code, bike code, what to do when leaving as well as links that take you to find local popular restaurants. Really a great unexpected bonus that made our trip that much more smooth."

"Lots of space
This very roomy villa was just as it was portrayed. Bath rooms were well done and kitchen should follow next. Flatware needs to be replaced. Management was very responsive when coffee pot broke, they replaced it within a couple hours. "

"Fantastic Time
Overall experience was great, the villa was clean, comfortable and well decorated. Two recommendations; install better overhead lighting in the main family room (very dark even with lamps) and change out bicycles where seats are broken and cracked. "

"Home away from home while working on Hilton Head Island
I enjoyed my stay at 617 Queen’s Grant very much! This unit is even better than the pictures show. It feels very “homey”. The living space is very roomy and The furnishings are very comfortable. It does not feel cramped or crowded like many beach rentals feel. The upgrades and the decor are all nicely done. I enjoyed the patio area outside in the back of the unit. The bicycles that are there for the enjoyment of the renters is a definite bonus especially this time of year when the weather is so nice. The grill that is available is well maintained and we enjoyed using it twice in the 6 days that we were there. I can’t say enough about how nice this unit is!! I have only one regret... I didn’t book it for my December trip back there in time. It was initially available but when I looked again after arriving and seeing it first hand the week I needed it was already gone! So, If you are looking at this property and hesitating.... DON’T BC IF YOU SNOOZE YOU WILL LOOSE!
If I had to make one suggestion: the only thing I can come up with is that the Master Bedroom could use a head board for the bed and some new pillows that are king sized. Some reviews say that the beds are not comfortable. I did not find that to be true. The Master bedroom mattress is firm but not uncomfortable. If you like a super plush mattress then this may not be the unit for you. "

"Great beach rental! We hope to be back!
We had a wonderful time on our vacation at Hilton Head in this rental. It was beautiful and quite comfortable. We loved the upgraded bathrooms, how quiet it was and took advantage of the spacious deck and grill. It was so convenient to have bikes for our use, and we were very happy with the proximity to the beach. We had a wonderful time, and hope to rent this condo again next year! Highly recommend for your HHI stay!"

"Not cleaned properly!
Upon arrival at 3:30 and check in was at 4:00 the cleaning service was not at the property. Hoping to get in 30 minutes early was not an option but also there was no way the property could be cleaned for our 4:00 check in. When I called the manager he said the service is running behind. He was not at all apologetic. When the cleaners appeared at 3:40 they were extremely rude! I wanted to put meat in the freezer from our trip and they said they would not touch the kitchen if we put anything in there. Needless to say they did not clean properly at all! Floors were still sandy and popcorn under tables, the tables had sticky spots, the dishwasher had not been emptied, they left a load in washer, the coffee pot was filthy, and a dirty diaper was laying in the trash can outside. Not a nice welcome to the property to say the least. I called multiple times and left a message. A manager was sent to get the laundry and I had to ask him to do the other stuff. There was no follow up calll from managment or any type of apology. If I owned that property you would not be managing it, period!!!!!! It is a nice spacious place and met our needs but the whole check in process left a bitter taste in my mouth. The place is a little dark, needs updating in the bathroom, and the kitchen countertops."

"Loved the Condo. Very Comfortable furniture - kitchen stocked.
We had to leave on Wednesday morning :( The only issue we had was the King Bed made a noise when my husband would get up. We woke with sore backs. I would suggest getting a nice egg crate and softer sheets. Other than the King bed the rental was excellent. "

"617 Queens Grant Stay in June
This is a beautiful unit (kitchen, living dining area with a new deck and comes with 4 bikes and beach chairs. The unit was well stocked. The bathrooms are especially dated, and the unit was in need of a deep clean (ie. baseboards, closets, cupboards, etc. and kept finding dog hair) The garbage area could also use a good scrub down. "

"Spacious unit in a great location
617 Queen’s Grant is a spacious unit with a wonderful kitchen. It is located in the desirable Palmetto Dunes, close to the driving range, Big Jim’s and the beach and Dunes House. It’s apparent, however, that the owners are upgrading the unit bit by bit. The master suite and all the furnishings seemhg to be the last to be considered. In all fairness, though, the unit is comfortable. The rental agency was quick to respond with a new microwave when the old one gave out. We were very disappointed when the agency did not give us the first right of refusal for rental in 2020. They did not respond to voicemails or texts.

"AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME 617 QUEENS GRANT
617 Queens Grant was an awesome Villa. It was clean, spacious and located close to everything. The floor plan is so open and allowed for my family of four to have plenty of space in the kitchen, living room and bedrooms. The pool is literally a minute away from the villa and Big Jims Restaurant/Driving Range is right behind the villa. The beach is about a 10 minutes walk but with 2 little ones it was so convenient to call the Dunes Buggy to take us to the beach(about a 3 minute ride that is included in your stay) I would recommend this Villa to anyone looking for a great stay and experience at Palmetto Dunes. "

Wonderful location. Very clean and functional. Nice to be able to have the little dogs for a couple weeks with my parents visiting. Quiet neighborhood. Maintenance very responsive to a clogged shower. Washer/dryer excellent as we could have clean towels often. Will be back. "

"Wonderful Weekend Getaway
We had a wonderful long weekend in this condo. It is beautifully updated and decorated and SO spacious! We loved that it was easily accessible from the parking lot and loved the private patio and yard; this was super easy to let our dog out. The kitchen was well-equipped, especially considering we cooked dinner all three nights we were there. Only suggestion we had is to add some bar stools at the bar. "

"Perfect Getaway
We absolutely loved our rental. Open floor plan with lots of room. Decorated nicely with full kitchen and laundry. Walking distance from the pool and biking distance from the beach. The oven was not working due to the door not latching, but all other appliances were up to date and operable. We would definitely consider staying again."

"no big issues
the villa was not as well kept as we expected, the bathrooms were a bit shabby. the living area was the nicest part of the villa but the amenities were lacking. the hairdryer only worked on high, not a big issue but as I said not what we expected, the oven door was sprung so the light never went out.we did not use the oven , but would have been an issue if we had. "
