Relax at the beach at this 2 bedroom lower unit just one home from the sand! The location on the corner of 43rd Street is walking distance to shops, restaurants, the grocery store and the Newport Pier - about a mile away. This rental features a spacious patio, views and is steps to the sand!

LIVING & DINING

The roomy tiled living area has two black leather sofas, coffee table and a TV. Seat six at the dining room table. Two additional bar stools at the kitchen counter are great for snacks or meals on the run. The kitchen has a dishwasher, dual sink and plenty of cabinet and counter space. Sliding glass doors from the living room open out onto a spacious patio table.

BED & BATH

The master bedroom has a queen bed and en suite bath, the second bedroom, two twins and is adjacent to the hall bath. The washer/dryer is in the bathroom.

• BR 2: Ground floor guest room with two twin beds, hall bath.

OUTDOOR SPACE

The home offers exceptional sunset views and cool ocean breezes. The spacious patio has seating for four at a table with umbrella. Sharing the days adventures while grilling up family favorites on the Weber charcoal grill. The rental has one car parking on a pad alongside the house.

THE LOCATION

Swim, surf, boogie board, body surf, skim-board or sun - the beach here is perfect for all this and pretty much any other water or beach related activity you can think of! Jetties keep the waves manageable for most of the year and shape the waves to make the beach here family-friendly.

Exploring the Peninsula by bicycle or on foot is easy via the boardwalk. The Newport Pier area is a short bike ride from the rental, with dozens of shops and local eateries. The Dory Fleet Fish Market has been offering freshly caught fish since 1891, Seaside Donuts cranks out donuts 24/7. Many visitors can’t wait to return to Charlie’s Chili on McFadden Square – a “don’t miss” breakfast spot for many. Dory Deli has terrific food morning, noon and night - plus unbeatable people watching! Fly ‘n’ Fish and 21 Ocean Front offer more upscale dining.

The Peninsula’s only grocery store and dozens of shops and eateries are all just a short walk away. Gina’s has pizza and pasta for the entire family, Hook and Anchor serves up terrific fresh fish and lobster. The new Lido Marina Village boasts high end shopping and dining within walking distance as well as electric boat rentals. Lido Village Books features reading material of every genre including books by local authors. Via Lido Drug across the street can fill prescriptions and has unique gifts and hard to find items to browse while you wait. Nearby Bear Flag Fish Co is a local’s favorite. The Lido Theatre, built in 1938, provides an unforgettable experience for movie goers, with black light decor and a balcony for prime viewing of the latest big screen features.

"Summer Vacation House
We've rented this same property every summer for the past 6 years. Great location for families - with young children or teenagers. We like the fact that it's within walking/biking distance from the Pier/Restaurants but not so close that you get all the congestion and foot traffic. The property is literally steps from the beach (without paying the high rent of actually being on the beach). Burr White Realty is wonderful to work with in coordinating reservations. Always friendly and organized. (Please note that even though I rated the cleanliness low during our last stay - I truly believe that was an anomaly. We've never had problems with that in the past.)"

Unfortunately the place had not been cleaned when we arrived. They used a sour mop to clean with. This property needs to be visited and made sure there is enough supplies. We've been renting this house for many years and this was our first truly dissatifying experience."

"Great location in Newport
Loved the location, just a few steps to the beach. We rented bikes and rode everyday. We would stay there again, had a great time. The only things I would suggest is some small things like salt and pepper, paper towels, pitcher for juice and coffee filters. Just small items like that would be nice if already there so they did not have to be bought. There was extra pillows, but no extra cases. The power did go out several times but came back on, on its own. Not sure if they were working on it or maybe doing something upstairs. But these things were no big deal, and we loved our stay. Thanks!"

My only complaint is that there were no cleaning supplies (broom, dust pan, 409, dish soap, etc.) which would have helped us keep the place cleaner during our stay. Other than that, this property is perfect and the location can't be beat."
