"Just a condo
No information sent for arrival. Info was sent to a land line when u had my email address. We arrived and there was no guard or info building. After several t/ p calls we were directed to drive to another building which was also closed. There was a box which directed us to the code to enter the condo.
The condo itself was barely adequate for two adults. There was a small bar of hand soap and that was it besides dishwasher detergent- inadequate. No shower soap or shampoo . We had to buy everything.
The mattress needs to be replaced as well as the bedspread and definitely the blankets. The couch in the tv room was very dirty and the rug under the table in front of it is an accident waiting to happen. "

"Great last minute stay at HHI
We had a fun time. Mostly covered parking spots, beds and sofa were comfy, sheets and blankets nice, was clean and able to cook in kitchen, kids played vr in living area, we could walk barefoot to beach. Was convenient to restaurants and grocery, we would do it again."

"Fantastic Rental
The condo was really nice and super convenient not only to the pool and beach, but to the plaza across the street. We never had to drive anywhere the entire week! We couldn't get the cable to work on the main TV, but then who really wants to watch TV while your at the beach! It was perfect for two people and we would definitely look to rent this unit again in the future."

"Breakers 139
We spent 12 days in Breakers Unit 139 this past March. The property is a oceanfront condo with the most spectacular view. This is what sold the rental for us. The unit itself is very small. The kitchen was stocked well enough to get by and the washer dryer unit was a godsend. There is only a couch and dining table with 4 chairs inside along with end tables. I really missed not having a comfy chair to sit in. The balcony was furnished with 2 bar height chairs but a shorter table which was not very convenient. A few items that are inexpensive but helpful would be coat racks/hooks on wall to hang items and a full length mirror. There is not much storage in the bedroom, we lived out of suitcases. The unit was clean and very manageable for the time we were there. "

"Breakers stay Hilton head island
It was ruined by the conditions of both pullout and the bed mattresses. Would have been More comfortable sleeping on the hard floor . Extreme back pain for both me and my wife. Considered trying to find something else about three nights in to it but would have lost too much money by doing that. Other guest that we met at the pool are staying at the breakers voiced the same problem. Would love to stay there this winter again since coming down again because of location but just not worth being that uncomfortable again..."

"Restful Retreat in Paradise
Beautiful condo with gorgeous view! Loved my time here. Very convenient to shopping, restaurants & bike trails. My only complaint was the wifi. AWFUL!!Very spotty and unreliable.(Not good for doing my business remotely.) Seashore Vacations was fabulous to work with--made it easy & stress-free! "

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The ocean view was awesome! The proximity to the beach, shops and restaurants was second to none! The condominium was tastefully decorated. The washer and dryer in the unit was invaluable. We would book another stay at this property! "

"Great place to stay!
This was the second time we rented at The Breakers and we liked this unit even better. Super clean, updated furnishings and great view of the ocean. Last year the condo we stayed in was very humid but this one was not...it was just perfect. The weather was pristine and made the stay that much better! Highly recommend working with Seashore Vacations...it was so easy!"

"Beautiful View / Worn interior
The condo was right up against the dunes and facing the ocean. A wonderful little deck for morning coffee while watching the waves roll in.
The interior could use some TLC. Older bedding linens and worn & stained carpets in the bedroom. Small areas of peeling or cracked paint.
Very convenient location with immediate access to the beach as well as shopping & dining."

"Amazing location, disappointing condo (#139)
You cannot deny the amazing location that the breakers resort has but condo 139 was absolutely disappointing. we had booked a different room on VRBO but it got cancelled just 3 weeks before our arrival so it was on a whim we even got this room—this room was found for us by a broker so it wasn’t anything I found on my own. Pictures are outdated on website so you’re not seeing the true room. The bedroom has carpet with years worth of stains and no attempt of professional cleaning. The bathroom had one outlet and it did not work so we had to use hair dryer in the living room for access to a mirror. We found a massive cockroach in the bathroom (I have pictures). All of the electrical outlets barely hold appliances because they are so worn out. The ceiling in the living room/kitchen has concerning stress fractures/cracks. All of the walls need repainted to hide scuffs and stains. The dryer sits on a broken/uneven particle board ledge—looks as if it could fall at any time. I used the vacuum in the closet and i emptied the chamber and filter—I’m confident this vacuum had never been emptied or cleaned since placed in the unit. I believe condo 139 needs to be taken off of the listing until proper repairs can be made. I will 100% be booking breakers resort again but I will be sure to choose a different room. Management company was very easy to deal with and I love the use of their app to manage the stay. "

"Great location!!
We spent 4 days here for a quick getaway and it worked out very well. The condo was small but clean and was close enough to the beach to hear the waves! The AC worked great, and I liked that there were 2 ceiling fans, too. We did have two small problems (no hair dryer, and toaster didn't work) but the rental company was easy to get hold of and very responsive. Within a few hours, they had delivered the two (brand new) items to our condo. Thank you!
We also liked that we could park right near our unit, and we could walk to restaurants and shopping if we wanted to. And if we were driving somewhere, it was easy to get out on the main roads and find our way back.
As another reviewer mentioned, this condo unit could use a little "TLC", as in a fresh coat of paint, and more than the one chair out on the deck. P.S. The refrigerator leaked a little water onto the top shelf so we couldn't keep food there. "

"Good location, filthy unit
Breakers 139 is conveniently located in coligny plaza and walking distance from the stores. Unfortunately the unit itself is a dump. The Breakers doesnt have elevator, looks like they are in the process of building one but the 3 days we were there we didnt see anyone working on it. The unit is filthy, hair on the floor, stinks, and outdated. Bed is uncomfortable. Plumbing in shower was installed incorrectly where you had to turn the knob to cold to get hot water. View from balcony waa nice looking out into the ocean but there was only one very short plastic beach chair. There was no room to put our suitcases or to hang our towels up. Shower stall was very small and bathroom was very dingy. It still had leftover soap bar from previous tenant and hair on floor and toilet. We decided to check out a day early because we couldnt stand it and our kids didnt even want to use the shower. A disappointment.
We can hear people talking from the above unit and when they walked by our unit. Trash truck came early and it was loud. Dumpster was inconveniently located in the parking lot where people had to walk by it to go to coligny plaza and it was very disgusting. "

"Terrible Place - Stay Away!
We've stayed at Breakers before but this the worst unit we ever stayed in. Entire unit dirty, especially bathroom, paint chipping off, towel rack loose barely on, shower stall 2ft x 2ft, ceiling fans never been cleaned (black soot), floor filthy; patio screen door keeps falling off track, plug next to kitchen sink didn't work, leak under kitchen sink, pull out sofa (forget it). That's not the worse of it, refrigerator leaked inside, water all over food, even in crisper drawers; repair man came one day, did something, never fixed problem. Would not recommend this unit to anyone. Seashore did give us a days credit but I told them take this place off your rentals!!

"great views from private balcony
Great location. Walk to shops, restaurants and grocery store. Park your car when you arrive and move it when you leave. But the best feature is the view from the balcony. Nice size, private deck to sit and watch the ocean and the shrimp boats come and go. The only reason for the 4 stars is there was only one chair on the balcony. It would have been nice to have 2 Charis and a table. The ice maker wasn't working and neither was the toaster, but not a problem for us. We had a beach chair in the car for the balcony and we could walk to get ice and the oven worked Vey clean and quiet condo We would definitely stay here again "

"Nice place, excellent location
This property is in an excellent spot right across the street from from a shopping plaza with lots of restaurants. The place was pretty clean except for the toilet. The mattress and pillow were very lacking and I had to sleep on the couch a few of the nights. Plus, it didn’t help that a garbage truck came every morning between 6:30 and 7 and woke me up. It could also use a nice paint job, doors and trim were missing paint and looked dingy. I would also recommend taking out the storage in the bathroom and making the shower bigger. Overall, the place was nice; just needs a little love and care and the location was excellent. "

"Beautiful view...dirty condo!
The view is absolutely beautiful! The chairs on the deck are plastic and low so if you are seated you can’t take in the wonderful view and there is no table! The rug underneath the coffee table hasn’t been washed in at least a year if ever. The plugs work some of the time but not all the time so that could be a fire hazard. The shower is extremely small but the worst part is just how dirty the condo is and I do have pictures to show that. The floor is really filthy that I wore my shoes the whole time. The pool gets sun all day so it’s not refreshing and is warm like bath water."

"Nice Except Bathroom
We have stayed at the Breakers before so knew the units are on the small side. The bathroom design is bad.. very narrow shower, curtain with mold on bottom, no stopper in mini sink, dirty base boards. First floor with fewer steps and nice balcony, great location for getting around island."
