"Winter getaway
First time to Hilton Head and had a great week. The property worked out great, super convenient location with many shopping and dining locations within walking distance. The furniture on the deck is in need of upgrading but every thing else was great. The unit is small but was fine for the two of us."

"Great stay for family of 4!
Extremely easy location to find, check in, management was over the top nice & helpful. Condo is decorated comfortably & cute with all the amenities needed for a 4 night stay. It definitely was small, but we expected that, and our sons ages 8 & 5 loved the twin bunks. Condo as a whole is older, and could use updates, but the unit was about as updated as it could be. We had a wonderful time enjoying the short walk to the beach and the convenience of a pool. We will be back! "

Great location and view. Unit needs a few updates - bedroom carpet and living room couch. Bed would be much more comfortable with a box spring. Really enjoyed the proximity to the ocean, the very nice pool, and the free bikes! Will stay here again. "

"Maintenance!?!?
The unit has a nice view of the ocean and beach from the balcony. Being on the 3rd floor helps with this because there are a lot of trees and bushes that block the view from ground level. The unit had some cleanliness issues, most notable was a black-stained shower curtain. During most of our stay, the wood walkway to the beach was closed for maintenance. We had to walk through a narrow and poorly cleared trail through the brush. Yuk!"

"Good stay
The location is great. The unit needs some updates, the bed was comfortable but the quilt could use a washing. The ramp leading out to the beach is too steep, it should be extended (there is room to do that). The security guard was very nice! "

"Double charged for the unit. Not been able to get it corrected
I was double charged for my balance of $782+/- and have tried to get a cooperation even though I send copies of where the money was taken from my checking account and also charged to my visa account....same amount...same day.. The manager was supposed to call me back.but, he has not called.
NOT HAPPY WITH VACATION RENTALS right now."

"Great location and view
None of the doors shut properly, including the balcony door and some aspects needed updated, such as mattresses, linen and flooring. Room was slightly dirty when we checked in but the location and view trumped the short comings of the room. "

"Loved our home away from home
Couldn’t have asked for a better spot. Unit was clean. View was spectacular. Location was walking distance to everything...including Pool Bar Jim’s! Could use different chairs on the balcony, like the ones in the photo, but other then that everything was great. Had the best time relaxing and rejuvenating my soul!"

"Nice Getaway
We have stayed at the Breakers many many times and love the location. This condo was nice being oceanfront, on top floor. It was very clean and had everything we needed. There are 3 suggestions for the owner...
1. The bath tub/shower unit had a major soft spot in the middle of the floor. 2. The tvs weren't smart tvs. It would have been nice to have enjoyed a Netflix movie. There is a DVD player there with movies however not alot of room to sit in the family room to watch them. 3. The owner of the condo next door has a little dog that barks alot. The condos are suppose to be pet free so I am not sure how this works.

"Nice view but...
Looked nice initially, all the amenities listed were available. Bedroom was very small, bed was uncomfortable. The door to the balcony was very difficult to open, balcony was kinda falling apart but had a great view. The pool was nice, and easy walk to the beach. "

"A Perfect Stay...
We’ve stayed in this complex before and are quite familiar with it. This particular unit was clean, comfortable and the view is amazing. The electronic door lock is easy to use and extremely handy when going to the beach not wanting to carry or keep up with keys. Excellent choice for a low key, relaxing week at the beach. "

"Great View!
This place has an amazing view on the third floor. The place was clean and has what you need to cook. There was one cupboard door that was close to falling off and the screen door kept coming off the track. We were only left with one trash bag. It does sleep six, however, with three adults and a teenager, it was comfortable to move around. The beds were a little firm for our taste. The location next to the Plaza was awesome. There is a lot of stores and restaurants to choose from. I would stay there again if the beds were a bit more softer. The view and location made up for what was lacking. "

"Room with a view
The view was great! The condo doesn't have a stove which I think shouldve been disclosed in the description.The pool was 90degrees the whole time we were one point the pool was very cloudy.Not very refreshing when its 100 degrees outside.The room couldve been a lot cleaner than it was.We folded out the sofa bed and the sheets were all balled up in a dirty pile inside the bed.There was a bag of used towels that sat at the top of the steps the whole week we were there.I love the location of the resort and ive stayed at multiple different units over the past ten years.This was one room i wont stay at again.Infeel like they should've had someone come by with a leaf blower and blow all the common areas off atleast once while we were there."

"Best rental in 10 years!
My family and I have rented multiple condos at the Breakers for the past 10 years & this has been my favorite! This condo was clean (with a new shower liner), arranged beautifully, a fantastic view!! It had extras we never anticipated, 2 coffee makers and a step stool which being 4’9” I really appreciated! There was a small ironing board, I prefer a full size; however, most people do not go on vacay to iron, so that was definitely me, the one provided was more than sufficient. The major thing that stuck out immediately was that there was not a wall of mirrors, that the other rentals use, to make the den area appear larger & I loved it!! I don’t want to see myself 24/7, not to mention the mirrors generally drive me crazy bc of being streaked! There’s 4 flight of stairs ( the 1st floor is for parking) but well worth the climb! Noise was not an issue! Due to COVID-19 the festivities were cancelled on the 4th, but the view allowed us to watch many “family” firework displays! Overall, I cannot say anything negative about this rental and I am very persnickety re: where we stay; especially the cleanliness! Of course being across from Coligny is always a bonus! All retailers strictly enforced the use a face masks and dining establishments went well above the CDC requirements! Having being infected with staph, after a hospital stay in 2018, I am beyond cautious everywhere I go and I can honestly say I felt as safe, as one can, during this time of uncertainty! We could not have asked for a better stay at the Breakers this year!!! I wish I was still there!!! Forgot to mention that an ELEVATOR is in the process of being installed!! "

"Not satisfied
We sometimes had hot water and other times not. Our dryer did not work properly and called the manager. The dryer was never fixed. We had to run the dryer five minutes at a time (it kept shutting off) to dry the clothes, causing us to stay longer inside instead to going to the beach. "

"Condo review
The only nice thing about the property was the location and view of the beach. The unit could use a new coat of paint, bathtub was dirty and cracked, bathroom sink didn’t drain well, had to run the dryer several times to dry 3 towels, ceiling fan has layers of dirt. Would not rent this unit again. "

"Great view , poor management
Location and view are amazing ...
But our air conditioning didn't work and it took them two days to fix it, the dryer didn't work properly and they never fixed it, and the sheets on the sleeper sofa were dirty when we opened it up. I had to contact the property manager multiple days and was not given a discount for our inconveniences, they actually never even apologized.
We liked the condo, but were very disappointed in the people managing the property."

"Great Location but needs Updates/Cleaning
We really liked the location of this condo. If you stay here you can walk or bike any place you need to go. Condo was comfortable but needs some small fixes/updates. The 2 throw rugs are beyond cleaning and should be replaced or removed. We actually turned them over because the top side was so dirty. Also, a few doors on the kitchen cabinets need to be tightened up. The coffee table and Sofa have seen better days also. For a minimal investment this could be corrected. Overall everything worked as it should and the view is great. The Bed is comfortably and the room were it is can be made dark for sleeping in after a night of partying! We would stay here again as it's hard to beat the value compared to other condos. Big bonus - right next to Pool Bar Jim's!"

"Great location!
Nice location, close to the beach, restaurants and shops. The view was about as good as any in that complex. The unit itself needed some repairs (door hinge on kitchen cabinet was broken and some paint would help). I’m not sure the unit was vacuumed well before we arrived as we found a good amount of hair on the floor. Otherwise it was clean. "

"Beachfront Mistake
Not at all satisfied. Furniture and rug in living area very dirty. Bed coverings old and soiled. Terrace area dirty. We only stayed 2 of the 4 nights that we paid for. The whole complex looks a bit run down. But the ocean view was great."

"Super Ausblick, schlechter Service
Positiv:Einfacher Zugang zum Apartment durch Zahlenschloss. Geniale Lage mitten im Zentrum. Toller Ausblick von Balkon. Fahrräder incl.;schöner Pool; Küche gut ausgestattet, Geräte größten Teils neu. Waschmaschine/Trockner neu
Negativ: Kein Aufzug; Möbel, Teppich sehr abgewöhnt, schmutzig. Liege auf dem Balkon war komplett aufgerissen. Strandstühle komplett verrostet. Bett schmal und unbequem. Wenig Stauraum.
SEHR NEGATIV: Reklamation bei Island Rentals sofort nach Ankunft wegen kaputter Balkonmöbel wurde 5! Tage ignoriert. Keine Antwort auf Anrufe oder Mails. 2 Tage vor Abreise wurde die def. Liege gegen Stuhl ausgetauscht ohne Ankündigung. Wifi Zugang wurde falsch mitgeteilt, keine Instruktionen für den komplizierten Zugang.
SEHR SCHLECHTER SERVICE DURCH ISLAND RENTALS!!!
5 von 7 Tagen könnten wir nicht auf dem Balkon sitzen."

"Just Adequate
The view from our room was spectacular. However with just two lounge chairs
There was no way to sit and enjoy it. Most other condos had a table and two chairs so we felt like we never got to just sit and enjoy are balcony which was a huge bummer. Then, our dryer didn’t work the entire vacation. We called maintenance who did come, but they needed to order a part that never came in before we left. Overall the condo was clean but some things were outdated like the couch. The carpet in living room needed a real cleaning and there was no provided vacuum to clean it. I had to keep borrowing my friends who was staying in another condo. So that was a bit annoying. Outside the pool was great but there was no one cleaning the area around d the pool. Some mornings I went down and picked up garbage or left over items people just discarded. The trees dropped needles that were everywhere and that was never cleaned up. Hey just needed someone who was responsible for cleaning it on a nightly or morning basis. We will go back to breakers for sure because of the price and location. However I’d look for condo that at least has better seating outside. "

"Great place to stay!
Compact but very cute condo. View of the beach from the balcony was perfect! Liked the decor and updated kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. Great location, right across the street from Coligny Plaza. The bikes were great to use every day, as well as the beach chairs. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner- shower curtain liner had a lot of mildew and exhaust fan was very dirty. Ceiling fans were so dusty I was afraid to use them! "

"Great location!
This unit was a perfect location to shopping, eating and walk to the beach. Staying on the 3rd floor was a little hard on my mom who went with us but she loved the beach view. My 9 year old daughter loved the pool. Wish the mattress was more comfy and the rugs could have used some cleaning. We also didn't bring our beach chairs since they had some available and one was broken. Other than that it was a great place."

"Great location with heated pool
We chose this condo because of the location and heated pool several years ago, since we went down in April. When I asked this year to confirm If the pool was still heated, I got a reply that it was not ... so I just want to reassure travelers in the off season that it is heated, and my daughter was in it every day! The place was very clean, but the dryer did not work. We could see it was full of lint on the inside and in need of a service, so we contacts the agency and hope that it was fixed. Great place and we would rent again. "

"Holiday Getaway
This was our first time on Hilton Head Island and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience (except for the cooler than normal temps)! The location of this condo can't be beat...right on the beach. What a great view of the ocean and beach from the living room and deck...put your sunglasses on when opening the curtains in the morning! We were very comfortable and happy with this condo and its location with Coligny Plaza right across the street and many restaurants close by for our eating enjoyment. We look forward to our next trip to the island."
