Break out the boogie boards! The beach at here is one of the best on the peninsula - a great spot for surfing, swimming, sunning, boogie boarding, bodysurfing, skim boarding or just watching surfers do their thing. A short walk from the Newport Pier and surrounding shops and restaurants, you’ll have the best of the beach at your beck and call.

LIVING & DINING

Breathtaking ocean and Catalina views greet you out front. If you can tear your gaze from the surfers riding the waves out front at the 32nd St jetty, the living room has a large wall-mounted, flat panel TV, surrounded by a comfy leather sofa, coffee table and an armchair. A nearby dining table has seating for six for quick meals or family dinners. Either way, you’ll be dining while enjoying warm sea breezes, the sound of the surf and ocean views!

The compact, efficient kitchen has everything you need for whipping up meals with shiny new appliances, granite-look counters, dual sink, dishwasher and built-in microwave.

BED & BATH

Two tidy guest bedrooms, one with a queen, the other with a set of twin bunk beds and a twin trundle share a hall bath with dual sinks and a tub/shower combination. The only way to enter the bunk room from inside the house is to go through the queen bedroom. The guest bedroom allows the kids to bunk in together, and older children can access an outdoor half bath via a door that leads outside from the bedroom.

OUTDOOR SPACE

Your patio is raised up above the boardwalk a bit which enhances views of the ocean, Newport Pier, Catalina Island and north to Palos Verdes. Dolphins frequently bob in the surf just off the beach and surfers abound in this area. Sit back under an umbrella and watch the waves roll up the 32nd St jetty. Grilling up family favorites at sunset will create memories to last a lifetime.

THE LOCATION

3104 W Ocean Front is located on the boardwalk just below the 32nd St Jetty. Explore the area by bicycle or on foot on the boardwalk right out front. The Newport Pier is a quick stroll away with shops and local eateries galore. The pier area has Seaside Donuts, Jane’s Corndogs, Dory Deli and Charlie’s Chili for unforgettable breakfasts. Fly ‘n’ Fish is not to be missed for fabulous seafood, but if you want to prepare your own meal, visit the Dory Fleet Fish Market, selling local fishermen’s daily catch since 1891.

The grocery store is a block away at 32nd St with more shops and restaurants. Try Gina’s for pizza and pasta with the kids or Chihuahua for tacos and hand-crafted beers. Just around the corner are several casual restaurants – try Las Fajitas for healthy Mexican fare, Newport Fresh for sushi, Hook and Anchor has lobster and fresh fish. Pescadou Bistro features neighborhood French cuisine.

The newly renovated Lido Marina Village with its high-end restaurants and boutiques is a few minutes away. You can rent an electric boat to tool around the harbor or charter a private yacht for the royal treatment. Via Lido Drugs can fill prescriptions and you can browse hundreds of unique gift items while you wait. Lido Theatre, built in 1938, provides a unique movie-going experience with a balcony and art deco black light décor. Visit Lido books to pick up beach reading by local authors.

"Perfect Beach Vacation
My husband and I wanted to take a vacation with our 20 month old and 3 month old baby. This place was perfect! We were literally a step away from the beach and a very short walk from restaurants and shops. With young children convenience is everything and it does not get more convenient than the location of this rental. We will definitely be staying here in the future."

"GREAT LOCATION!! Beautiful home, but needs some repairs.
The location of the home is the best part of this rental. The home is in good shape, but some items need to be replaced or repaired. The couch was broken, the drawers in both bathrooms were off the tracks and fell out when opened, and one of the umbrellas outside needed the pin to keep it open. It was not usable as it was. The other umbrella had a rusty sharp pin that looked like a makeshift pin out of a bent hanger. The 2nd bedroom is actually the garage converted to a second room. The only way to access it is through the master, or from outside through a separate door. The 2nd bath is outside as well. That's actually a plus because you don't have to go through the house to use it if your feet are sandy."

"Perfect Beach House!
This place could not have been anymore perfect for our family of 4. The location was great; short stroll down the boardwalk towards the pier & you have all the shops & dining options needed plus the Pavilions grocery store was just across the street behind the house. The home was clean and updated and the perfect size. The back bedroom is accessed through the master which was very convenient for us and our 3yr old twins. There is also an outside bathroom which can be accessed on the side yard so you don't have to lug sandy wet kids through the house. All in all it was a great stay. We will be back to stay here next time, it's our new go to spot when in Newport."

We thoroughly enjoyed this property. The location was great, on the beach and a short walk to Newport Pier with all its shopping and restaurants. Grocery store was a one block and super convenient. The kitchen had every gadget you could imagine. Burr White provided very clear directions and when we had additional information needs they were extremely responsive and polite. Will definitely rent from them again and ideally, this same property!"

"Short Getaway
The property was small, but very quaint and nice. It had recently been remodeled and was clean and undamaged (as most beach places often are). The back bedroom was a little odd - you had to walk through the master to get to it, but was otherwise fine. Great location. Could have used an extra loveseat in the living room."
