The outside, pool and location are fantastic. The interior needs updating, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. The pool pump required repairs during our visit. The washing machine broke and required replacement. Several electrical outlets do not work. A leaking faucet required repair. All reported issues were looked after by property management immediately "

"Amazing beach house stay
We absolutely loved our stay here! The beach path is visible from the driveway so our sunrise beach strolls were very easy to get to. The house itself was sparkling clean and very comfortable. We would definitely return!"

"house needs some attention
the house was clean but it seems it is not being maintained as well as I would have expected for the price. I think there could be mold, I came home with a terrible cold after finding the carpet wet in one of the bedrooms."

"Great house, so close to the beach!
This was a first time renting a house on HHI. This was a great house, very close to the beach! The house was clean, and roomy. It did meet all of our needs. We had brought our dog, it was nice to have the yard fenced, and a back door, to bring him in and clean him off. It's does need some updates, but overall we would definitely rent this home again."

Let’s start with the positives of this house: location to beach is outstanding! As well as the easy ability to bike to shopping & restaurants.
But the house overall is showing the wear & tear of the ocean environment. The exterior is in need of some care. The landscaping needs to be more people & pet friendly. (to many materials and tripping hazards) the interior is dated, the kitchen is inadequate and needs to be updated from materials to layout and appliances are in mediocre condition. Some outlets didn’t work. Both bathrooms are also in need of major updating.
HHI has been our go to destination for many years now so we’ve stayed in many different homes. While the location was fantastic the home needs major updating. "

"Family Vacation
We really enjoyed this property. The location is great. Very short and easy walk to the beach. The pool was also nice. The house is very open and bright. The kitchen is large and plenty space for cooking and eating in. Some of the outdoor furniture could use replacing and the front door sticks causing a loud squeak when opening up the door. Downstairs bathroom door did not lock but really wasn't a problem for us. "

We had a wonderful vacation at this beach house. The property was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We had no maintenance issues while we were there. The check in/check out process was great. Loved the heated pool and how close the house is to the beach. We would definitely stay here again. "

Location is key to this rental property. It's older and needs some updating but with all the maintaince issues we had the property manager was always there quickly to take care of it. Fenced in yard was great for the dogs. Close to the ocean and close to local shops and restaurants. We had a good vacation in this property."

"Ok but not great
Positives- great location, great layout, nice outdoor pool area, very short walk yo the beach, good amount of dishes and cooking utensils/pans etc.
Negatives- run down, not clean-had to release many of the dirty dishes, lights flickered most of the time, outdoor shower didn’t work, some trash around the property, disgusting bed skirt on master (looked like blood)., light out in the shower, terrible pillows , front door scratched along the door every time it opened and closed and made a terrible sound, oven light was on the whole time saying the burner was on and it wasn’t , dryer vent wasn’t connected to outside and left condensation all off the floor. That area of the house smelled like mildew. The house has tons of potential but needs to come off the rental market for a total refresh/repair and cleaning. The management company is not very responsive. I did receive a credit promptly for a refund for the pool heating set up fee and one days heating fee as they forgot to turn the pool heater. My husband turned it ion. I had emailed about other issues with the rental and never got a response. "

This property is just steps from the beach! It is in a perfect location. The outside is what makes this house. The pool/sitting area is awesome. The house overall is like most beach houses - it needs certain updates but in general it was very nice and clean. Some cons are: The refrigerator takes a few days to get cooled down and the upstairs beds are not that good. But overall it is a very nice house and I would definitely stay again and recommend to stay at 3 Night Hawk! "

This rental was perfect for our family 5 plus our dog. The yard is a nice size and completely fenced in. The beach access is right at the end of the street and the neighborhood is perfect for walking and biking. We would definitely rent again!"

Sign us up again - second time renting this house and we’re ready for more. Perfect size for a single family, short walk to the beach, beach is not overly crowded, short bike ride to Coligny Plaza, included bikes were fantastic and made it simple, and wonderful pool for our private use. Great family time and a very relaxing week! Thank you!"

Stayed here with my family, great house location is perfect. Fenced yard great for the dog. Kitchen could be a little better organized, only 2 upper cabinets for all plates, cups etc. that would not stop me from staying there again."

"Great location! Steps away from the beach.
Location was great. The furniture was a little tired and dusty. The kitchen could use a fresh update of cabinets and cooking utensils. We traveled with 4 adults and two kids. The smaller bedroom is perfect for smaller children. I would not recommend the smaller bedroom for adults. Swimming pool was relaxing. Used the gas grill to prepare several meals."

"Nice home So close to the Beach

"6 Goonies 2 Dogs and a Baby
We have traveled to Hilton Head Island nearly every summer since our children were toddlers. This year we took our kids and our first grandbaby! We had a great week and were so sad when it was time to go home. We loved this rental! Great location and close to the beach access. Pool was great! The open layout of the house is a plus especially when you have multiple families. One small complaint...box springs in upstairs room are noisy when turning over or changing positions. We will definitely book this rental again!!"

"7 Day Stay 3 days of Construction
The house was nice and clean. The location was excellent. Unfortunately the owners had to have a fence installed which we were informed on day 2 so there insurance was not revoked. Not sure how this could not have been completed over the winter. Day one of construction the fence guys cut the cable. We had occupants who needed internet for work purposes. The home owners repeatedly promised to make things right. Not sure what that meant because we never received a nickel or gesture of goodwill besides words. The deck by the entrance was having screw heads rust and break off. Found 1 in the pool and 2 on the pool deck. The fence installers were cutting the metal within 10 feet of guests relaxing by the pool. We also had to deal with pea gravel from the concrete mix scattered on the deck. Property management was great. They pushed the cable company to come out ASAP. We were out of cable for only a day. Hope you have better luck than us. "

"Nice pet friendly house near beach
Nice beach style home a few houses from private beach entrance in north Forrest beach. perfect for our family of 2 plus our dog but would be fine for 2 couples and kids . Pool was nice and heated was a plus. In my opinion this house meets all the requirements, in great location close to Coligny but still residential so beach not as crazy during busy season , pool , 4 free bicycles, pet friendly, and basically a few steps from beach access , bed was comfy, air conditioning worked well , nice large flat screened TVs . This is a smaller house compared to some of the larger ones in the area ( no elevators, pool tables ,pool side bars , butlers, lol ) . A few negatives , sofa nearing end of life , windows need cleaning."

"Great location, poor condition
I've rented homes in HH for 10 years. This was disappointing. Great location but greatly in need of repairs, upkeep, investment. Arrived to unit that was filthy with multiple pee stains on carpet. Rental company addressed these issues with immediate action but delayed my use by more than 2 hrs"

"Awesome getaway
I rented this house for myself, my siblings and their kids, and my Aunt and Uncle to visit HHI for a post-Christmas/New Years getaway. Very nice place, suited the nine people well. Great neighborhood, easy stroll to the beach. Bikes were a great addition and got a lot of use. Will book again!"

"Mini vacation get-away
Carla was very helpful in getting us another rental (this one) when 1 week before our original property became unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances.
3 Night Hawk’s location in proximity to the beach and Coligny area was perfect.
Property could use a good cleaning especially dusting in high areas and floor corners and behind furniture. I would rent this property again.

Our time in Hilton Head was amazing! The house was in a great location, we could bike everywhere and the beach was 3 houses away. Our house was clean and had a well-stocked kitchen. We were very pleased!"

"Nice house, great location
First off, it is tough to beat that location for the price. You can easily see the beach entrance from your driveway. The pool was a perfect size for a few kids playing and a few adults sun bathing. Plus, there was plenty of sun on the pool the entire day. The house was in pretty good condition overall and was clean when we got there. The kitchen had ample pots, pans, and Tupperware and we were able to cook every meal at the house. The grill starter needed to be replaced and even though it wasn’t able to be completed during our stay, they were super responsive. He showed up to our house in 10 minutes to check on the issue and bought us a long lighter to use in the meantime. The upstairs beds are very squeaky and could use replacing, but overall the rooms were fine. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Looks Can Be Deceiving
The location was great. The house was marginal for the price paid for the rental. It needs updating and remodeling. Lots of wasted space with uncomfortable furniture. The pool was great although small. "

"A Pleasant Vacation Home
What a pleasant home!
Imaginative decorating touches and comfortable living and dining areas. Master bedroom included a king sized, comfortable mattress, nice bed linen goods, and a lighted leaded-glass window high above bed.
Kitchen was very clean with ample space, eating /cooking supplies and utensils. Bathrooms very clean. Home included games, brochures/magazines/books to read that were very helpful to plan activities since this was our first time to Hilton Head. Location is quiet, safe with quick access to trails and beach. Cable TV worked well. Ample grocery and restaurants nearby – although In driving around Hilton Head, the round-abouts have a bit of a learning curve
This was a great place to experience and enjoy Hilton Head.

"Beautiful House, short walk to the beach
My wife, two children, in-laws and I stayed at this beautiful house for a week. We had a great time. Less than a block to the beach, a small pool that was great for relaxing, and great location near all the other fun things to do on the island. 10/10. Can't wait to stay here again."

"Good Location
Overall ok. Location is great.The House is a short walk to the beach, 4 houses away, and having a pool is nice. FYI- the pool is actually in the front yard, which seems odd at first, but is not terrible, the street is not busy, its mostly blocked by bushes, and your car(s), and you arent in the spotlights of the neighbor houses. They are all elevated, and this house is you would expect with a Rental, it was in just OK condition. I cant imagine that the property owner, or even the property manager has been there in a while, or done more than a cursory look at everything. The beds overall are bad. The upstairs bedroom has 2 beds that squeak with the smallest move, and the pullout couch mattress is a joke, and not viable to sleep on. The Couch itself, and the loveseat are old, worn, and dirty. You could smell that the Cleaning crew had been there the morning of check-in, unfortunatley it was clearly focused on the kitchen, the bathrooms were not cleaned, at least well, especially the Master bath.
The biggest disappointment was that we contacted the management company twice, and never heard back from them. We contacted them because the cable and internet were not working. I am guessing they called Spectrum, but have no way of knowing, because we never heard back from them. We just coincidentally were coming back from the beach when the Spectrum guy was there. The diagnosis was faulty wiring into the house that must be repaired before the cable or internet would work properly. That was the 2nd contact to the management company, and never heard from them, and so, cable/internet never worked. "

"Location, Location, Vacation
Home was in perfect location, was perfect size for family of 6. Pool was nice to have especially for evening swim. Home was dated and furniture was older and uncomfortable. The inside of the home was not professionally cleaned. Kitchen is not conducive to cooking with little to no room or equipment. Plan on eating out every night. It was a last minute grab. The location is the savior for this house."
