Really like the Port Aransas area. The house was well equipped. Issues we had were quickly resolved. My main complaint is the couch and noisy bed."

"Spring Break 2024
We arrived to a clean and fully stocked home. Bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces fit our group perfectly. We were next to the pool which was nice and since pool closed at 10:00 there was not a noise issue. We saw and spoke to the security guard ,Victoria, each night who patrolled the community. She was friendly and visible. We felt safe. The streets were tight for parking but we managed fine with our XL SUV and Truck. We would stay there again. "

"Location location location !
We stayed at Mango and Cash in April and really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for the family, and pet friendly, which is a must! Comfortable beds and plenty of kitchen ware. The air conditioning was a bit problematic but the property manager was very helpful and effective in solving the problem. They responded quickly to any concerns we had .I would highly recommend the village walk area because it is gated and quiet. The night are lovely with the palm trees lit up and the community is gated. It feels very safe andwalking around the village is lovely. "

"Perfect Port A Experience
This was our 2nd year staying in this house. We always enjoy Port A and have stayed at dozens of condos and homes but this house everything we need. It's big enough to accommodate last minute kids that always seem to join our group without cramping the parents. The location next to the pool is perfect and you can get anywhere on the island in a golf cart. Parking can be challenged and the neighborhood security is up tight which could be a good or bad."

The layout of the house and location next to the pool were good. As far as problems to be addressed:
the grill was corroded, the couch was uncomfortable and broken, the roof leaked as did the A.C. unit. House has potential but need T.L.C."

"Great visit
Our stay at Mango and Cash was great. The property was clean and well maintained and had plenty of room for our group of 10. The layout of the vacation home was nice and the large dining table facilitated conversation. Thing that would have made it better: potholders (there weren’t any), a dustpan and more trash bags. We look forward to returning to this sweet, colorful house. "

"Loved It - Just Gorgeous!
Furnished thoughtfully with lots of room for up to twelve. We loved the second floor deck and being right next to the pool. Staff for this location were immediately available to answer any questions when called.
Very delighted with our stay here and would be glad to come again!"

"Pleasant enough
The furniture was very in need of up date, the legs on the dining chairs were barely hanging on. Some of the chairs I didn't want to sit on, so stained. Towel bars and toilet paper bar falling off the wall."

"Right next to the pool!
Great house set up. So much room. We had a ballast here. Great location for town and being right next to the pool was awesome.
Needs more chairs on top deck. Several were broken. If your going to cook the house needs measuring cups. House could use a deep clean"

"Great times at Mango and Cash!
Everything was in order and clean! The living room was spacious and gave us plenty of room to play card games and hang out in the evenings. We really appreciated the booklet of helpful information. Great location, close to the beach and just down the road from a lot of the bars and restaurants in town. The outdoor shower was a pleasant surprise too. We could have used a few more shower towels, but it wasn't a big deal since we brought a lot of our own too. The upstairs balcony is a great place to greet the morning or watch the day end over an adult beverage."

"Excellent condition and very spacious!
Although there was not beach access in the neighborhood, we were able to drive less than 3 minutes to get to the beach. We also had chairs, an ice chest, and a canopy to hang up that would not have been fun to carry down to the beach. The house was very spacious and comfortably fit 9 people and one toddler. The house was very clean (especially for being close to the beach) but the upstairs couch with a pull out bed may need to be updated. The mattress was pretty awful but that was really the only trouble we had. Would definitely recommend to a friend! "

"Family Vacation
This was a fantastic house for our family vacation: 8 adults, a 2 and 3 year old, and 3 doggies! The house was so spacious and had everything we needed! We did take the short drive to the beach each day because it was a bit far to walk with all the gear. The staff was wonderful and answered all my correspondence quickly and with detail. I would definitely revisit Mango and Cash!"

"Great Get-Away
I would definitely recommend Mango & Cash. There was plenty of room for our family & the house was very clean. Village Walk subdivision is beautiful. The only drawback to this subdivision is that there is not beach access."

"Senior Spring Break Trip
This was a exactly what we needed! My husband and I hosted a Senior trip for my son and a few friends. The house was roomy and equipped with everything necessary to be at the beach. We liked the separate access stairs to the outside of the house so they could come and go upstairs without interrupting the adults downstairs. Having the master on the main floor with the kitchen and living area made it very convenient. Although it was too cold to swim, having the pool right next door would have been nice. We would definitely rent this house again. "

"Off Season Family Getaway
My wife has been ill and we thought it would be good for all of us to get away for a long weekend. We had stayed at this property before and liked it, so we decided to try it again. The home is perfect for family getaways. Enough queen beds and bathrooms for 4 couples. We had a great time. Our only complaints: water pressure is extremely low, ice maker didn't work and parking is only for 2, 3 if one is in the garage!"

decided to rent Mango and Cash based on reviews and photos of property. Really like the area of Village Walk. Very close to beach. Love that pool was next door to property. Not loud at all. Couldn't even hear people in the pool from inside house. Great parking and really liked the upstairs patio deck. Huge kitchen and living room area. "

This was a great house with plenty of room. The only negative was the overflow parking. This house is right next to the pool which is great until folks are there all night long. Don't forget extra pillows! Overall great location and just a short walk to the beach. We had a great time and can't wait to stay again. "

"Whole family vacation of 12 + 2 dogs.
The home arrangement was great for us and 2 dogs. Furniture in excellent shape and bathes and kitchen well equipped. The modem barely functioned so internet connection which we needed was very poor. Best feature for kids is it is next door to the pool which is well maintained. Picture is completely out of date (house is pink). Owners will not let you use the roof deck which overlooks the pool(makes sense when you see it). "

"Birthday vacation
We came down to Port Aransas for my husband's 40th birthday and had a wonderful time. We had a total of 12 people in the house and we all stayed comfortably. It was great having 4 1/2 bathrooms so no one really had to share a bathroom. I would recommend this house for multi family stay it works very well!"

"Loved it!
Our stay was very comfortable aside from the AC unit being broken when we got there. The staff was willing to move us to a different condo but got it fixed first thing in the morning. This was no ones fault and was taken care of in a very timely manner. The pool is right next door! We could see the kids through the kitchen window. We will definitely stay here again. Beautiful place!"

The house was more than adequate for the 11 of us, however, having to drive a mile to get to the beach would disqualify it for a future choice. Also the lack of rails and the slippery comforter on the top bunk made an emergeny trip for a broken arm to the hospital in Aransas Pass necessary."

Nice house....but sofa bed was broken, futon was broken, kids still slept there but could have gotten hurt.. outlets in bathrooms did not work, wine fridge did not work, garbage disposal did not work, ceiling leaked and outside chairs were broken..Called the office the whole time, I understand they could only do so much. Will not stay again with Port A Escapes, thank you"

" Our getaway for a month
Mango and Cash is a great house...the layout is good for having friends visit and entertaining.
We are an older couple and found the beds and furniture to be a little low and hard.
The location is close to town, however there is no walkway to the beach which we found to be a little inconvenient .
Overall we enjoyed out stay and the home is quite nice."

The house was in great condition. Very clean and lots of space. Perfect location and size. Only issue we had was property management didn't follow through on what they say they were going to do and we had to chase them to finally get what we needed. They
were professional every time we spoke to them, it's just that their follow through was disappointing."

one or two breakers needed to be reset, unable to get to panel in owner garage. Great house/updated design with everything you need/plenty of room and easy to maintain while there. other than the A.M. construction noise/crew (dangit!) and vehicles next

"Another Fantastic Memorial Day
This was our second year to visit Port Aransas for Memorial Day. The weather was windy but the house was great. We had 14 people stay at the house. Would have been more comfortable with 12 in this house. The house itself is very nice. It has a garage to store golf clubs and beach gear. The roof top patio was very nice. Plenty of beds and TVs. We had a problem with the AC leaking water inside but maintenance was out ASAP to fix it. The house was clean. Nice bathrooms. Nice appliances. We will definitely stay again."
