Most things were looked after by the contact Paul. Sofa cushions need some attention, dining room chairs all chipped and needs new foam. Th worst was the uncleanliness, floor needs major wash not just swiffer, top of range needs major cleaning. Bathroom was not clean. Great location."

"Awesome Stay in Capt Cook Rental Unit @ Four Paddle
This is such a nice unit, the view was spectacular and the location was very nice and close to everything. Supplies in rental unit was very good and the unit itself was really, really nice We especially loved the toto washlet in the bathroom. This is a very quiet unit, a little noise from the unit above but very quiet overall. People in building are very friendly and there is good security. Pool area and bq grill areas were very nice. We really enjoyed our stay here and plan to reserve the same unit the next time."

"Comfortable stay (facilities, cleanliness, views)
I stayed here for 6 nights in the middle of December. The room was very clean. The facilities were also in perfect condition. (Full kitchen, air conditioning is good, bath water is good, common pool, jacuzzi and sauna were comfortable) This apartment is also in a good location. You can walk to Waikiki Beach while watching shopping malls. There is also a bus stop right in front of the hotel, making it convenient to go further afield.
Overall, it was a very comfortable stay.
If I had to ask for one thing, it would be the depth of the bathtub and the water pressure of the shower."

We rented the unit to stay at for a week over New Years. We enjoyed the space very much. The apartment had all the amenities we needed. It was close enough to the beach, shopping, restaurants and places to walk. The building was safe and clean yet dated. Our contact was mostly attentive when we needed to ask questions. The parking space came in handy when we rented a car. The view from the balcony made drinking coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening extra special. We would definitely return back. "

"Needs attention
Unit manager, Paul is unresponsive. Unit is as described, but bathroom has mold, tub is filthy dirty, and shower leaks onto the floor. It’s a very noisy location. Trucks & traffic noice can be heard inside the unit all day & all night with windows & doors both closed. "

We greatly enjoyed our stay in Honolulu, largely due to the great accommodations. The unit was clean, bright, large, and had everything we needed - we used the kitchen a lot, and the washer/dryer were a great plus and saved us time. Some noise occurred from the street in the late evening/early morning, but it was mostly quiet enough to rest at night. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Great Place! Horrible Staff
This place is wonderful. The location and views are great. The hotel manager however, was rude and threatened us because we forgot masks twice. He had all staff and security watch us so everyone was giving us stink eyes. It was very uncomfortable. The mattress on the pullout couch was disgusting and we had to sweep the place up of hair and dust(may be caused by air conditioner). Paul was great!"

Our rental at the Four Paddles was everything we could have hoped for. The view was absolutely breathtaking. "Our stay at Four Paddle #1704
We stayed here for 17 nights and really enjoyed our stay. This is a great place because the secured parking (gated parking garage) was free and the management did a good job with creating a pretty safe environment due to COVID-19. The unit itself was nice which made for a very comfortable stay. We picked this place because the unit had a washer/dryer in the unit and a dishwasher. We found very few places in Honolulu that offered these amenities. The WiFi worked fine for internet browsing and streaming except on a few occasions but overall it was dependable. The King bed was very comfortable and we didn't have any issues sleeping. The unit was very quiet but will say there didn't seem to be many of the units occupied. There were two convenience stores in the same block which made it easy if we needed something quick.
The property manager "Paul" was very nice and responsive when we contacted him. He was very helpful when we needed his assistance (which was minimal).
The only negative side is the bedding and towels were worn and had holes in them. All the linen and towels really need to be replaced. Some of the dishes (Plates) were chipped which need to be replaced too.
Overall the unit was really nice and we would definitely stay there again if we come back to Oahu. Captain Cook Resorts provided us with great instructions and information on the condo which was a plus."

The property is in in a great location . Walking distance to everything. The building is nicely maintained. TheRe was some wear and tear of the unit. The bed skirt was ripped and also has a hole in it. Some of the walls were marked up as well. The security and manager are great."

プールのジャグジーが滞在3日目に故障のため使えなくなったのが残念。
帰国日の朝修理が完了していたのでとても羨ましかった。
リッツのパーキングを抜けるとカラカウアアベニューまで抜けられショートカットできるので便利。
リビングのソファーをベッドにして使用してとても快適に過ごせた。
洗濯乾燥機付き、無料パーキングを条件にここにしたけれどここで正解だった。

"It became better with renovation
Room 1704 has stayed many times in our favorite room.
This time the floor, walls and bathroom have been remodeled and improved.
However, unfortunately, the table and chair of Lanai were rusted, and the cushion was torn and terrible.
Even though the room was very beautiful, only Lanai was a disappointing space.
I would like to renew the sofa and bed if possible.
But overall, this room is great."

Nicely locatred on Kuhio Ave, only a few blocks from the beach, this condo has everything within a walking distance, such as shopping, beach activities and dining. We loved to have a washer and dryer in the room too because we had lots of towels needed washing after having fun at the beach. To have a free parking was another treat, because it could cost some $20/night in Waikiki. Although the new Ritz Carlton is now under construction right across the street, we still enjoyed a partial ocean view from the lanai. We would definitely come back next time."

It was a very wonderful room. First of all, it is comfortable every day that there are many things such as the fact that you can see the sea from the room, both the room and the parking lot are very close from the elevator, the security of the entrance and parking lot is solid I could do it. Also, because it faces Kuhio Street, it is easy to go out by car, and even if you walk you can reach Kahala Street in a few minutes. This is the location where the ocean can be seen, this fee is the best. And Paul, thank you!"

"Clean spacious room w great location
We have stayed in Waikiki a number of times and were really pleased with this condo. It was very clean, well managed, with great security. The view was good (unfortunately new construction across the street - but where isn't construction) but we can still see the ocean which is a plus. Parking was included but the stall for this unit was a challenge. If you do get a car and stay here be sure to get a small car!! Otherwise everything was fantastic!"

Checking in was easy. This was our first time in Hawaii. We loved the location. It was great to have parking as well. The sunset views are no more because of a new building but you are only 2 blocks from the beach. There is a bus stop right outside the building to get you almost anywhere. If we come back to this island we will stay here."

"Outstanding Stay in Four Paddle #1704
Super condo - just right for our visit - perfect for a Honolulu stay. Was just far enough from all of the action that you felt like you were getting away, yet close enough to be there in a flash when you wanted to join the masses! Photos depict exactly as condo was, however you can't see CLEAN in photos - and the condo was spotless. Paul met us in timely fashion and gave us lowdown on what was where, how to get in and out of building, parking, etc. We only went to recreation deck a couple of times, but was great to be able to use gas grills there and pool/hot tub. Security was evident at all times right in the lobby, which was nice. Lots of restaurants and shops within very short walking distance. Even though we had a rental car (and parked it in spot for #1704) we easily used UBER to go to a few that were further away. All the UBER drivers were familiar with the location of Four Paddle. Thai restaurant around the corner is great! Also appreciated that there was guest parking right near lobby so friends could visit us easily (no overnight guest parking except for the slot for #1704). While we were there construction was ongoing across the street however it had ZERO impact on our stay. We travel a lot and this was one place that was even better than advertised. It's not a resort, it's a residential building, but it has the amenities of a resort (pool, hot tub, lovely deck, room fully stocked with beach chairs, beach towels, ability to cook with all utensils, in-suite laundry, etc. - which most resorts don't have). Only two of us stayed so did not use sleeper sofa. But did have guests over and having dining table and bar area (total sit down for six) was nice to be able to entertain people IN the condo. Would stay here again - and plan to! "

This place was excellent. We were a family of four with two teenage boys. There was plenty of room (we used a blow up mattress for one and the hideaway for the other). Place was clean, air conditioning worked well, the views were great, Paul (manager) was friendly and helpful, location was excellent. Washer/dryer was a HUGE plus. The unit was super clean when we arrived. Had everything we needed from a full kitchen w/ everything needed & a breakfast island w/ 2 stools, large living area w/table & chairs for 4, pull-out sofa couch, a good sized bedroom w/ comfortable King bed & storage. The bathroom was small but functionable, very clean as well & had storage also. Lots of new, super fluffy towels.. And a bonus, 4 nice big beach towels, kick boards, & beach chairs that we put to good use!!
The lanai had a tiled floor, which may keeping it clean easier, comfortable padded chairs & a glass topped table.
Was super convenient to have a full sized washer and dryer in the unit.
The unit quickly turned into our home away from home. Very comfortable.
This unit still has a fairly good view out and over the ocean. Construction was a little noisy at times, but face it, you don't spend the days in your room. And it did give you something to watch, as you enjoyed your coffee on the lanai!!
This is our 2nd year booking at Four Paddles with Captain Cook. From the office staff to Paul, the property manager, we were treated superbly. Everything was awesome and as said it would be.
The Four Paddle complex itself, is managed very well. Secured entry and 24 hr security. There's parking if you need it, efficient elevators, great pool and sun deck area along with a very large bbq outdoor eating area. Everything is very well maintained and kept extremely clean by the complex staff.
The Four Paddle is very convenient to everything in Waikiki. We love to walk to as much as we can and really enjoyed the close proximity to everything that we had staying here. It is also a bit quieter at night, just being off the busy streets.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here again, and are already looking to returning next winter.

This condo was very comfortable and clean. Everything was in good working order with the exception of the iron (it needs replacing) and the pull out sofa could use a memory foam. The view of the ocean was beautiful but will soon be eliminated by the hotel they are building across the street (lots of construction noise so earplugs were needed) Great location though, walking distance to everything. This building had a lot of repeat guests who seem to be mostly seniors, and the pool area has many rules and noise isn't well tolerated. Our stay there was nice but I don't think I will go back for the above mentioned reasons. "

What a wonderful stay in Waikiki. We loved the property and the view of the ocean was fabulous. It is heart breaking that the Ritz-Carlton building is going to ruin the views. Everyone on the property was great, from our introduction with the property manager to the security guard and anyone we met in the elevators, it was just like we lived there. The unit itself was extremely nice, very clean, well equipped, a beautiful kitchen area, and the internet and TV worked very well."

I like the view, but the condo is in desperate need of an update and quality control. Some specifics -
* cockroaches in the dishwasher
* nothing matched -- looks like it was decorated and supplied from garage sales
* carpet worn out
* micro TV in bedroom
* flat screen mounted so it tilts
* postage stamp size bathroom
* Walmart quality sheets and towels
* kitchen utensils a collection of broken and worn out tools from everywhere
* sofa needs replacing
* noise from the street eliminates option to sleep with windows open
* door handles, hardware, etc. worn out
There are just two positive things I can say, 1) the view in the distance is nice, but you have to ignore all of the garbage and construction on the bottom half of the horizon,
2) the AC works
I will not stay in that building again, much less that condo. "

No complaints at all. A thing for third person to think of is very soft sofa bed, it must be common to sofa bed itself, not particular to one in this room.
From time of reservation to check-in on-site, the Resort offered Japanese speaking staff, both were helpful, all went seamless.

"A Great Stay!
We loved the property that we stayed in. It was very clean and they had all the stuff you need when you first arrive so you don't have to worry about running to the store the night you land. The location was great. Close enough to walk to Kuhio beach and all the Waikiki sights."

"Great apartment, great location.
Captain Cook Resorts great to work through...Apartment could have a few extra utilities i.e. cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. Just enough but required to use dishwasher 3 times a day rather than once..this would allow saving of water (useful as Honolulu is having a drought at this time)"

The unit was updated within the past year or so and was just as advertised. We arrived before check-in time, and the manager met us promptly to let us in. The location and view from this condo are great. The only negative is the road noise when on the
lanai; however, it's quiet inside. Would definitely go back to this one."
