18.) CANCELLATION POLICY- For a refund of moneys, cancellation must be in writing and received 91 days prior to your arrival date. The cancellation fee will be 10% of the rental rate. Cancellations within 46-90 days will result in the loss of the 40% deposit unless we are able to re-rent the Dwelling for the same rate and time period. No refunds will be made for cancellations received 45 days or less prior to arrival unless the Dwelling is re-rented for the same rate and time period. If the Dwelling is re-rented, then a 10% cancellation fee will apply. For this reason, we highly recommend that you consider purchasing the optional travel insurance.

"Great Surprise!
We originally did not book this property. We booked a property in Sea Pines for the RBC Heritage golf tournament and were called by the property management company an hour and half before check-in that the owners had booked the property themselves leaving us not knowing where we were staying after booking 6 months in advance. Luckily, they had this property open and moved our reservation here and offered free bike rentals. We were pleasantly surprised with this condo. The location couldn't be better. The furniture is dated but clean, and the king bed was very comfortable. The views were amazing and we agreed we would definitely book this condo in the future. "

Sea Turtle Getaways Misleading website and description . Condo is filthy. Shorewood Villas is a lovely upscale community. This condo is a wreck. Refrigerator is appalling. Dirty walls and stained. Our experience with the condo was extremely disappointing. First off the unit is very old and needs updating. Furniture was dirty and uncomfortable to sit on. Though we were assured it was cleaned it was very dusty on surfaces, air conditioner ducts and the kitchen items were dirty and rusted. We had friends join us and it was embarrassing that they found some baby roaches in bath. We contacted management the first day we arrived and they never got back to us the entire time. Over all this condo needs complete updating, from couches to paint, appliances and kitchen. we stayed in another unit last year and were thrilled. The view and location are excellent. "

"Needs updating
The view was wonderful, but the unit needs updating. Furniture is very worn out especially in the living room. Sofa and love seat must be over 20 years old and sink down considerably. Also, we were only given 5 wash cloths for 4 people. That's not enough for even one day. No one wants to do laundry every day. I would come to Hilton Head again, but wouldn't book this unit."

We have stayed at the Shorewood condo complex for years. Love the location, the pool, and access to the beach. Although I would definitely stay here again, no question, it could use a little updating-a fresh coat of paint would go a long way."

"Excellent Condo with Beautiful Views
We had an excellent stay at Shorewood 308. The views were exactly what the pictures show. It was relaxing and enjoyable to take in the views of the beach and ocean from the comfort of the condo! The pool area was beautiful and clean, as were the buildings’ exteriors, walkways, and landscaping. It is a gated property, so it felt very safe too.

While everything may not be completely “updated” on the interior of the condo, it was very comfortable and clean. The only recommendation I have would be to update the bathrooms. The “master” bathroom tub had water stains on the ceiling above the tub, and they were both on the smaller side overall.

The property managers were extremely responsive and friendly via email. I did not have to call them, so I cannot relate the experience over phone. I would definitely recommend this condo and Sea Turtle Getaways!"

"Great location, and view!
308 Shorewood is just as described and very clean. Oceanfront view from 3rd floor, enhanced by a few palm trees that make the seen more interesting. Your view is over the dunes to the beach, not over a pool or grounds. Beds very comfortable, shower has good pressure. Kitchen stocked full of anything you could possibly need. Elevator 20 feet from door. Luggage carts available on ground floor. Pool and hot tub beside building. Gated path to beach from center of pool area. Gated parking, with lots of bike racks. Coligny Circle 200 yards away. I was worried about seating on balcony, if it would be comfortable, and it was actually very comfortable and gets you up above the railing for a great view. Wifi password on printed sheet in condo is backwards but a quick call to the office straightened it out. Fabric on couch an love seat needs new life but still comfortable. Chairs in front of large picture window very comfortable. Large nice dining table. Also stools at kitchen bar very convenient. Can close door at beginning of bedroom hallway and at each bedroom giving more noise reduction from common areas. Closet in twin bedroom had lots of beach item such as umbrella, chairs boogie boards ect. Merele with Sea Trutle Getaways was great and very helpful with helping us get a great rate through HomeAway. "

"Excellent Beach Vacation!
We had booked a room slightly cheaper with another rental company in the same complex and read the reviews two days before we were set to leave and the reviews were terrible. We did a little research and found Shorewood 308 and booked right away with only two days of advance notice. My family and I LOVED this place!! The King bed was firm yet comfortable and my 6'2" husband with a bad back slept great all week. The furnishings were excellent, everything was very clean and we were close to the beach and the shops. We will definitely go back to this condo!"

"Wonderful Week
Had an amazing stay at 308 Shorewood from 7/15/17 -7/22/17. The unit is nicer than the pictures and just as described. We were footsteps from the well-maintained pool and hot tub and a very short walk to the boardwalk to the beach. The kitchen was totally stocked with all appliances, dinnerware and every cooking utensil you would need. Be sure to check out the tiki bar at the Hilton, a short stroll away. Centrally located to Coligny Plaza and beach. Bikes were a blast to get around or walk to dining and pubs. Will rent again."

We stayed at Shorewood 308 and greatly enjoyed this condo right on the beach!! Great location and great price. This property needs an update throughout but was fairly clean....we did have to clean the refrigerator and kitchen and had to dust most surfaces. It was worth the price though and location! "
