"Sand Castle I, condo 907 - PERFECT!
We've been vacationing in this area for 15 years and this condo is by far the best we've stayed at.This condo has been 100% renovated. It was immaculately clean, furniture was very nice and comfortable, kitchen was stocked extremely well, there was nothing we needed. The owner was more than accommodating and we appreciated his assistance with running the TV. We are no strangers to condo rental and for the first time, we give 907 a 10 out of 10!"

"Fantastic location, great view, nicely renovated.
We really enjoyed our stay in this condo at Sandcastle I. The condo is in a fantastic location with a great view of the beach. While we were there over the New Year's holiday the weather was unseasonably cold and we didn't swim much in the ocean however we did swim in the heated pool. The condo has been recently renovated and everything was very clean. There is plenty of space. Our two teenagers each had their own room and the central living area was large enough for us all. The management company was helpful and very responsive. "

"Sand Castle I
We stayed in the unit over a holiday week. The unit and the view was superb. The cons were the unit was not soundproof. Every step, chair moving, ball bouncing, and water running was heard from the unit above. Please be aware the mattress are firm. The pool could use a cleaning twice a day if possible. The amenities at the unit were plentiful. The unit was stocked with everything you need(kitchen utensils,plates,cups,etc.). Check the balcony closet for any beach stuff you need. The location is very convenient to a wonderful amount of restaurants and shops. Overall a great experience and would recommend trying it."

"Amazing Views! Beautiful Condo!
Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teens) loved our stay in this unit. It was incredibly clean & truly had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We appreciated the beach chairs and umbrellas that were in the closet on the balcony. The views of the Gulf were absolutely gorgeous. Communication with the owner was easy & always got a timely response. My only suggestions would be to possibly add a full length mirror to each bedroom & maybe a few hooks or towel bars for additional hanging. When 5 people are trying to get ready for dinner at the same time, it can be challenging with only having a mirror in each bathroom. Of course these things did not diminish our love for the property. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful condo!!"

"Gorgeous unit and view!
This unit is beautifully finished inside. It was very clean. It is within walking distance to some of our favorite restaurants and bars. The view is to die for! It has a large pool and hot tub on site. I highly recommend renting from this owner. As always, treat the unit as if it were your own so that it stays in great condition."

"Sandcastle Condo
We had a wonderful week staying at the Sandcastle 1-907. The unit was exactly as described and pictured. The only thing that wasn't provided was beach towels but we were able to purchase some at Publix when we went to get our groceries. You can't beat the view from the balcony, we saw some beautiful sunsets and a few dolphins. The heated pool was great, even though the week was cooler than expected, we were still able to use the pool and hot tub. It was so convenient having a washer and dryer in the unit too. The owner was very responsive any time we had any questions and the Florida Lifestyle team was great. "

So beautiful!! The condo has everything a guest might need. The kitchen is too die for.
Everything in the condo was cleaned and tidy. Balcony is off the chart. Extra large both length and width. Plenty of furniture to fill the needs of 6 people. Beach items of all sorts. Beach chairs, umbrella and toys of all sorts.
We will definitely book this condo again. "

"4th of July vacay!
Overall, we had a great time! The location is great and the view is amazing! The condo is definitely outdated, but has everything you need to enjoy yourself. It was not as clean as I expected and it appeared that the cleaning crew did not do a great job prior to our arrival. I went over the sinks and toilets myself before we got situated. It looked like a rush job. Our main complaint is the internet is awful! We re-set it daily, but if you have more than one device using the room WiFi, you will be disappointed with the speed. It glitches and freezes. I would also recommend upgrading the mattresses in the two smaller bedrooms, as they are terribly uncomfortable!
Loved the location, but not sure we would stay again, mainly because of the beds and internet. "

"Family vacation
Overall my family and I had a nice stay. Was it the best condo we’ve ever stayed in? No. Could it have been worse? Yes. The location couldn’t have been better, the views were outstanding and there were plenty of good places to eat. The condo is definitely in need of some updating. The shower liner was very gross, I removed it during our stay, the master shower is rusted in areas but it was clean. I wiped it down myself and it really didn’t need it. Under the beds hadn’t been cleaned. There was an inch of dust and several random socks that didn’t belong to us. There was popcorn under the couch in the living room and we didn’t have pop corn so that was left over. The guest toilet had a nasty ring around the top of the bowl. The sheets on a queen in the guest had something black on them so we washed them. This condo has carpet which I can’t imagine why a condo on the beach would have carpet but I knew that going in. It honestly wasn’t the worst thing but it does make you feel icky for lack of a better word. HOWEVER, the condo was not disgusting. I probably would look for other accommodations before staying here again as it is now, but with a few updates and some deeper cleaning I would stay here again. The washer/dryer was awesome to have the pool and hot tub were great and the other guests/residents were nice and it felt very safe. The price was great too. So overall if you feel like wearing your flip flops in the shower, and don’t mind doing some cleaning of your own the stay here. If they update and clean a little more then definitely stay here. "

"Florida vacation
Area was great . Sand Castle 1 was Ok. Our condo 907 needs serious updating and the house keeping was terrible. Never vacuumed, toilets and showers were never cleaned. Kitchen was a dirty mess."

"Sisters Trip
We had a wonderful stay at Sandcastle 1 Unit 907. Beautiful view and steps from the ocean. Plenty of restaurants nearby and everything you need to prepare and serve a meal in. Lots of beach amenities plus the facilities shared toy box was great! Would definitely stay here again!"

"Another year in Indian Shores
We stay in Indian Shores every February/March. We spent 3 weeks at this property this year and enjoyed our stay. It met all of our needs. It has a well stocked kitchen, beach chairs/umbrella/beach coolers and the balcony with the new furniture has a great view of the gulf. Plenty of linens and beach towels. The pictures of the unit is exactly what it looks like. The condo complex is well maintained and the elevators were great - fast, not a long wait. No problem with parking. I left a few books in the unit. "Four Winds" and "Identical" are among the ones I left; good easy beach reads ... Enjoy!"

"Decent place great rates
The condo was fully stocked with all items you would need. It was easy check in and check out. It is a bit outdated but comfortable. The only real issue I had was I love to sit in the balcony early in the morning for a few hours before everyone gets up and all chairs were broken. I did let the owner know and he is replacing them asap. Other than that it is a decent place. The elevators are hot sticky and have no air circulation. I would advise the building owner to work on that as there are 10 floors and only 2 elevators"

Loved our stay everything was wonderful, there were only 2 things that could have been better, the balcony furniture was all tore up we only had one chair that wasn't broken and the first day we were there the property manager was having cars towed for parking without a parking pass. It was a little scary cause I explained to him we got in on a late flight and we didn't have a guest pass in our packet and had to wait till Monday to get one. (This was on Saturday) He told us if we parked their till Monday we could possibly be towed so we had to keep looking for parking spaces down the street. I understand why they watch the parking lot so I know next time I will ask in advance that the guest pass be put in the packet. Otherwise this is a great place for a family vacation. It is beautiful and We all loved it."

The rental came well stocked with dishes and cookware. Overall, the condo was clean, but in need of a kitchen update, new carpeting, and drapery. The condo smelled quite moldy and the carpeting ,in particular, was buckling and loose... probably from being wet and not properly dried. One of the two elevators remained broken the entire week we were there. Pool and hot tub were excellent."

"Most Spectacular Sunsets Viewed from Balcony in Indian Shores, FL
We have vacationed in Indian Shores, FL for many years and it continues to be one of our favourite spots. Sandcastle 1 provides a view of the Gulf of Mexico all day long. Dolphins and at times manatees can be seen from our balcony and the sunsets are beautiful. Weather from April to June is very inviting for us as Canada's weather usually gets a late start. "

We booked this unit a year in advance, and I'm so glad that we did! It was a very fair price, and we loved our stay. The view cannot be beat. We knew going in that not everything was recently updated, but we'd rather save money than have granite counters. It was clean, and we would gladly stay there again. "

"great location, needs work
The management company and owner were great to deal with, but the interior of the condo had much to improve. The location was great, right on the beach. The pool was very nice. The kitchen was stocked with any cooking equipment you might need. The furniture was old, stained, and out dated. The property smelled musty and humid. There were plenty of towels and beach equipment to use. The management company was very attentive and when we called about a running toilet, it was fixed that day, along with something we didn't call about."

The ocean was awesome, weather was awesome, pool was cleaned every day, hot tub was good.
The unit was dirty, kitchen had cockroach's running in drawers. This unit needs full remodel, water in toilets was running all the time(need new toilets). Instead of exhaust fans bathrooms had small fans so the air was just circulating in there. Kitchen cabinets are old and greasy, lights in kitchen had broken covers. Exhaust from cloth dryer comes in to the unit, so you are inhaling whatever comes from it. Doors to the balcony are hard to open. Entrance boor lock broke while we where there management response with fix was fast. The promised sauna was not in the building at all. Barbecue grille lighter was not working. You have only one parking spot, second is guest parking if there is open one. Complex is well managed they had a man working there on something all the time cleaning pool, cutting grass ets.

"Beach lover
The property was beautiful. Beach was wonderful. So we're the views of the sunset. However our room was mostly clean. We had to go get some cleaning supplies to clean the pans as all of them had residue left in them. The beds are not very comfortable. King felt like we were on a trampoline. The 2 queens beds were very hard. If you would like any suggestions Sam's Club has very nice mattresses with gel foam that can be put in your unit at a very modest price. Even the bed comforters are old. Also the living room furniture needs to be updated badly. The loveseat is worn out. This unit needs to be updated its not what the rest of these condos look like. We got to see some more in this building and sadly this was the worst one here. Most have been updated. The other owners apologize to us because they knew what our room looked like. I would recommend this property to others but not this particular unit. It would not take a lot of money to make this unit comfortable. Comfort is key for me. "

We spent a week at Sandcastle one and we were very pleased overall. Loved that the beach wasn't crowded and that we could leave most of our beach stuff out there and n no one bothered it.
Our beds were comfy and our condo was clean even if furnishings were showing a bit of wear."

"Florida Vacation 2015 Sandcastle 1 - 907
Great Location! Great Beach! Plenty of restaurants and activities. John’s Pass is just a 10 minute drive away.
The unit has great potential. Great view from the balcony. Unfortunately the furniture / appliances were very dated and the unit was dirty. The Air Conditioner ran the entire time and was not able to cool the unit down during the day. The AC was very loud and the noise would drown out the ocean waves. Had to call LifeStyle (Management Company) to replace the bathroom lights. Refrigerator was unplugged and no blender in the unit. Fan in guest bedroom was very noisy. Dishes were dirty.
Master bed was extremely firm. I have stayed in many HomeAway / VRBO condos and this was by far the worst bed I have ever stayed in.
I would not recommend this unit until the AC, appliances, furniture and beds have been upgraded.
I spoke with renters of different units and their units have been upgraded and were extremely nice.

"Awesome for 3 generations
My family has my husband, 4 kids, my dad, my brother. Enough room for all if us. More than enough supplies for anything you need, from cooking to the beach. I will definitely use this rental again. Only problem was the parking, only one spot and we had two cars. They took care of the problem since the rules changed after we booked, but beware there is only 1 parking spot for a party of 8."

The view was beautiful. Master bed was not very good. Would of been nice if we had list of TV channels. The tubs were very slippery needed to have something to prevent slipping.
Living room could use an update on furniture. Found a lot of dishes with food on them. The pool was nice."

Old outdated building, we had 4 different condos, on different floors of building, all were very outdated, one condo had major plumbing issues, & was dirty when we arrived. Construction also disrupted stay. Very noisy very early in the morning all week."

"Parking issues
First and foremost the condo and the beach was nice! However we had two vehicles there and was under the impression that there was guest parking. There is guest parking but it is very limited. All the spots were filled and when we spoke to the rental agency we were told we could park our second car down the road at their office. If you are going to have just one car then you are fine. More than one car I would look elsewhere. One other thing I re-cleaned our kitchen countertops because they were dirty and our unit was not ready on time."

"Clean, affordable, and convenient condo on Indian Shores, FLA!!
It was exactly as depicted in the VRBO pictures...and just as close to the ocean as you'd want to be!! Great spot for snowbirds, families with children of all ages, or just a couple. It was just the perfect size for the 3 of us (with our 6 yr old son). Close to good restaurants and bars, local sights. This condo has a good sized kitchen with all necessary cookware, tableware, and glassware you would need. All you need to supply is the food, beach towels and toilet paper you would need for the length of your stay. You will feel very much at home at Sandcastle I on Indian Shores, FLA!!!"

"Family Getaway
This property was very nice. Third bedroom is lots smaller than it looks in photos. View was awesome. The only cons were that there was no paper products, empty laundry products and only 6 towels in unit for 6 people. Other than that this is a great affordable vacation."

When we arrived they didn't have keys to the room. Maybe you should think about checking that before it is time for the new guest to arrive at 3 pm. The location and room were nice. The only thing was the room was very dusty. I will def try and stay there again!"
