In the heart of Balboa Peninsula, next to the Newport Pier this is the perfect single-family home. This craftsman style home welcomes you with a creamy orange door and cool turquoise exterior that gives everything a fresh and fun feel. Immaculate, newly renovated and only one house from the beach on the corner lot with lots of outdoor space.

This home is surrounded by a white picket fence with a pagoda front gate, perfect for the family with a dog (off season only!). There is a lot of outdoor room with a front porch and side patio that has an enclosed walkway around the house to a private back patio with a new gas BBQ.


As you enter the home, the cool wood planked open floor plan has all new appliances. The cozy family room has leather seating and ceiling fan with a big screen TV that opens to the dining room table that seats 6. The kitchen is an open galley with a breakfast nook near the back door and laundry room with a stacked full-size washer and dryer.


There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor each with queen beds, both have TVs and ceiling fans. One full bath with a shower downstairs. The upstairs bedrooms have sliding doors that share an open deck with glass fence panels to enrich your view. Each upstairs bedroom has a queen bed, TV and ceiling fans.

The second story deck is the home’s crowning touch with ocean and beach views, ocean breezes and plenty of furniture plus a barbecue. Spending quality time while grilling family favorites or enjoying beverages will make your time at the beach unforgettable.

The Newport Pier area is right around the corner with dozens of shops and local eateries. Purchase freshly caught fish direct from the fishermen at the Dory Fleet Fish Market, established in 1891. Seaside Donuts serves up fresh donuts 24/7. 21 Ocean Front and Fly ‘n’ Fish offer more upscale dining. Charlie’s Chili on McFadden Square is a“don’t miss” breakfast spot for many out-of-towners.

Ten-acre Marina Park mid-way between the piers with The Lighthouse Restaurant, an outdoor fitness circuit, basketball courts and picnic area allows visitors to soak up city and bay views. Kids can visit the playground with mini-lighthouse and plenty of grassy space. The elementary school playground is accessible to visitors when school is not in session.

Balboa Village is thirty minutes away on foot, ten by bike, but worth the trip. Visit Harborside in the historic Balboa Pavilion for amazing views and unbeatable happy hour deals (try the fried calamari!) every day, or seafood in the bayfront dining room. Other local’s favorites are Cruisers, Newport Landing and casual Great Mex. Take the ferry to explore Balboa Island and its many boutiques and eateries or rent a bike and pedal the bike path (boardwalk) to access the entire Peninsula.

"Excellent Beach House!!
This is the best beach house we have ever rented in So. Cal. The location is perfect, just one block from the beach (ocean can be seen from top deck) and right by the Newport Pier. The two off-street parking spots are priceless! The street is busy, and a bit loud at night, so make sure to bring a sound machine if you are a light sleeper. We rented bikes from the place right next door and they were perfect! We used them to get everywhere and hardly used our cars the entire time. Balboa Pier is only a 5-10 minute bike ride along the boardwalk.

The house has everything we needed, and nothing more. No excessive decorations or furnishings, which made it easy to keep clean. Not having any carpet is a blessing considering the proximity to the sand. The kitchen was well stocked, except for a kettle to heat water. I have never stayed in a place where we were expected to make our own beds upon arrival, but it was easy to do and no trouble at all. The vertical blinds in one of the upstairs rooms were a total joke and all fell off the moment we tried to open them. The keyed door lock is an incredibly awesome bonus, and allowed us to keep the house locked while we were at the beach without carrying around a house key. You will need to buy more toilet paper, they only give you one roll per bathroom. The washing machine and dryer work perfectly, bring your own detergent.

Perhaps the best part of renting this house was the customer service. The woman I worked with, Jane, from Burr White Realty was incredible. She assisted me with the booking and arrival details of our trip, and was a pleasure to work with. She even called the morning after we arrived to check if everything was okay. I would absolutely rent this unit again. "

"Great Location
This home is in a great location to everything! There is plenty of room to entertain family and friends. The only complaint is that we ran out of toilet paper and paper towels and The exterior of the home windows and patios needed to be hosed off. We will definitely be renting this home again. "

"Perfect Beach Rental
This rental was perfect for our weekend retreat to Newport Beach. We had 4 couples looking for a fun birthday getaway from the kids and this location and unit was perfect. "Great Location
This house is clean as a whistle and it's half a block from the beach. It's very close to Newport pier. My teenagers skateboarded day and night the entire stay. For my part, I sat on the front porch and read. There's a view and the cool breeze was delightful. The house has four bedrooms and two very new bathrooms. The galley kitchen appears to be brand new. Nice sheets and towels, but you'll need beach towels. Great stay here. Very friendly people at the rental agency, too."

"Great Histoical Property!
We stayed here because we could bring our two small dogs and stay a month, which we have always wanted to do. It was wonderful!

Newport Pier is one block away with lots of activities and eats. Pavilions is close by. The donut shop on the boardwalk is still as good as ever. The street tacos at Chihuashuas is great. We also liked TK Burgers and the greek place two doors down. The best pizza is at Gina's Pizza. My husband rode his bike everyday up and down the boardwalk, Balboa Island, and PCH. The dogs got to go on the beach before 10am and after 4:30pm everyday.

The house was remodeled less than a year ago. Everything is still in tip top shape. We had a problem with the propane tank being empty and the vertical blinds not working in one room. They were out that day and fixed it all.

"Great month long stay at the Beach!
Great 4 bed 2 bath newly remodeled house 1/2 block to the beach and pier. All hardwood floors throughout and beautiful new kitchen and bathrooms. Great views from the upper deck of the waves and beach. We had a great time in a beautiful home. Very dog friendly with a small enclosed yard and patio area for fido.

Its a little loud late on friday and sat nights due to tall the bars in the area as well as early mornging trash trucks so we quickly learned to close the windows before going to bed and putting on the ceiling fans to enjoy a good nights sleep. Walking distance to tons of bars and restaruants. The pier is 5o yards. Perfect beach vacation home and Burr White is top shelf managment team! I even got flowers from them for my birthday! Thank you Keri at Burr White! Great job!"

"Bday at the beach
This house was simply amazing! Everything was so beautiful �� my husband and I celebrated our birthdays along with a few of our family members and it made for such a fun family vacation! The house is situated in a great area, walking distance to just about anything you need. It’s right by the pier, restaurants, market, and bike rentals. The upper deck had a small view of the beach. The beds in each bedroom were so comfortable! There were plenty of dishes and flatware for everyone. Burr White Realty was so easy to work with and very helpful! We would definitely stay again! "

"Our family had so much fun !!
This house was great !!! All new, clean , decorated cute, an being there during 4 th of July, very well insulated!! The walk to beach no problem very close, plus getting a ice cream, coffee, hotdog ect... right there!!! Even bike , surf boards, boogyboards, fishing poles!!! Very convenient!!!!
2 spaces for parking Awesome!!!
