"What a great stay
We had a lot of beach time and this condo faces the ocean, with the beach just steps from your door. The balcony overlooking the ocean was a great place to spend the early morning drinking coffee and admiring the Dolphins and shorebirds fishing for their breakfast. You won’t be disappointed if you stay in this fifth floor rental."

Great location! Steps from the beach, other residents were so nice, very quiet and such a nice beach vacation property. Would highly recommend anyone staying here. Only complaint would be the beds were a little uncomfortable, but nothing that could not be fixed. Nice to have the laundry in unit and plenty of space for 4 people! Great views and breezes through the balcony. Can’t wait to stay here again!"

"GREAT PLACE FOR 2 PEOPLE TO STAY!
Beautiful view of Ocean! Clean and close to all restaurants and other things you may wish to do. Very well stocked with beach things and coolers. The elevator was not working when we got there, so we had to go up to the 5th floor, (80 stairs) with bags. I called the office and it was working after we came back in a couple of hours. If I had known that, I would have waited to take the bags to the room. It worked fine the rest of the stay! Loved everything else about the stay! Especially the view from the balcony!!!"

"Great Stay but needs a few minor fixes
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pointe 502. We were booked there for four weeks but had to leave a few days early due to a medical emergency in the family. The condo has a great view of the ocean and we were able to enjoy the few sunsets we had. They had plenty of kitchenware and linens! There were a few minor inconveniences that we would suggest the owner or handyman take care of. The bathroom door did not close properly, it just needed a minor adjustment to do so. Secondly, the sliding glass door to the balcony was very difficult to open and needed a little grease or oil to make them open easier. We did spray Pam on it which helped for a bit. The bathroom fan needed cleaned. The prior guests stuck a note to it but apparently the cleaning people didn’t bother to look up. Lastly, the light switch in the bedroom did not turn on the overhead light. We had to walk into the room and turn on a lamp. Other than those, it was a great stay and we would gladly return in the future. "

"Great Vacation!
Check in was easy and the condo was very clean on arrival. The balcony view was amazing. The balcony has a nice table set which allowed to have some nice meals outside with an ocean view. The location is great, roughly 30 minutes from all of the major tourist areas but far enough away to enjoy a quiet beach."

"The Good The Bad and the Ugly
Good - Location! You are right on the beach and have a designated parking space and private balcony. The condo is spacious and the furniture is comfortable. The owner also supplies a couple of beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, and some toys.
Bad. There is no a book in the condo that lists the instructions for each of the appliances (including how to use the remotes for the TVs), good places to go, etc. Recommend putting together a ring binder where someone can find all information in one location. You have to have a FOB to enter the building, and then keys to get into your condo, and then a tool to use the faucet to rinse off when you come in off the beach. I prefer keyless so there is nothing to carry (or lose!) There are only a few restaurants near the condo, and there is no sidewalk. I didn't like walking at night without having a sidewalk and being so close to the road. I ended up driving everywhere.
Ugly. The condo is long and the bedroom is right next to the hallway and elevator. It was so loud. All night you heard people coming and going, walking up and down their hallways, conversations and all of the traffic going up and down Gulf Blvd. Lots of motorcycles who love to rev their engines right outside the building! The building was only about half full, I can't even imagine how loud it would have been if the building had been full. If you are a light sleeper, you will need to sleep with earplugs. The condo was not completely clean and there was no lysol wipes or antibacterial spray so plan on brining your own. The blinds above the bed were covered in dust, the vent in the bathroom was coated in lint and had not been cleaned in quite a while, the coffee pot had been rinsed, but not washed etc. You will also need to get toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, tissues, hand soap, dish soap, laundry soap, etc. You are started off with one roll of toilet paper for the week and two hotel size bars of soap. TVs did not work well. Remotes did not work and sound w"

Everything was great except the day we arrived the elevator was not working. We had to carry all our stuff up to the 5th floor. Inspection of Elevator was past due. Hope they got it inspected so this won't happen again."

Lovely vacation condo, very clean and beautifully decorated. The beach is gorgeous and a beach walkers dream come true. Condo had all basic necessities, We cooked all week and had all the cookware we needed. The only thing I would add are some beach towels but that’s it. We will definitely go back soon."

"My Happy Place
I have been vacationing in this specific condominium complex for the past 10 years. It never disappoints, The Point by far is one of the best places in this stretch of beach. It is less congested and I have come to know many who like me vacation here yearly and actually look forward to catching up with old friends. The actual condo was cozy and clean as usual. I appreciated the new coffee Keurig in the kitchen. The only issue I have is the mattress on the pull-out couch in the living room, it needs to be changed. It is literally like sleeping on coils. I had my daughter join us on this trip and therefore, we needed the living room couch and it was terrible. Hopefully when we visit this coming summer, it will be changed. Aside from this, all is perfection! "

"Winter Getaway
Good overall, I didn't like the assigned parking.The car was sprayed by lawn sprinkler at night. Wi-Fi needs to be updated with a secure router. Great view. Quiet. Close to several restaurants. Direct oceanfront."

"Fantastic view
We enjoyed our 11 nights stay at condo 502. The condo was clean and quiet. That is very important to us. The view was amazing. Was glad to have two beach chairs and umbrella for the beach. We bought two beach towels and left them for the next renters.
The sofa bed mattress needs to be changed. The sheet on the double bed kept coming off because the mattress cover keeps coming off. But both mattresses were firm. The condo is perfect for two. We enjoyed many candle lit suppers on the balcony. The restaurants and grocery stores are close by. You will need a car for major shopping. Winn Dixie and Publix are great grocery store. We will be back!
Cathy Gable is so efficient and friendly. She helped us find this cute condo. This is a small building only 20 units. All units are Gulf front. Each unit has an assigned parking space."

"Five Stars - - Book this one!
Great condo in a great location, just a short ride from great breakfast at Sweet Sage, Drinks/Dinner at Sea Breeze, Salt Rock Grill or The Pub and easy access to shopping. The beach was clean, and the view from the deck was superb. This is an excellent well cared for condo, the description and photos were spot on. It had everything needed for a short or long stay. Although the neighborhood is safe, having secure access to the building was appreciated. The bedroom offers a queen and full size bed, which would become tight for four as they are up against walls on one side. The washer/dryer in the unit is a plus.
The team at the management company made the reservation process simple, and easily accommodated an off hours arrival."

For our first trip to Florida it was awesome. The condo was very clean and well stocked kitchen to cook in. This place had plenty of room for our family of four and having the washer and dryer was excellent plus with two kids. The view was amazing and the beach was never crowded. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting a great vacation on the gulf."

"Amazing rental experience
Florida Lifestyles was a great experience. Every bit of the money I spent was worth in. The condo was perfect for myself and my girlfriend. I plan to try and come back next year and maybe bring another couple with us. The condo, when we arrived, was clean and overall better than I was expecting. It's location is nice because there is public beach access but the area near the building never gets to crowded like it does further down the beach. My experience here was one of the best and I intend to be back!"

"Almost perfect
Location, peace and quiet, perfect view. If you don't want to be in the middle of the "crazy", this place is for you. On the busiest beach day there were less than 50 people within eyesight. The condo was well appointed and had everything you could need. Our only "complaint" (not really a complaint and not fixable) was the bedroom was at end of the condo and farthest from the beach. My husband fixed that by pulling the mattresses into the living room and opening the sliding glass door -- instant beach bedroom :) We had a small issue with the A/C line leaking water, but PM was immediately responsive and the issue was fixed right away. "

This was a very good condo. Location was amazing. Decor was up to date. Very clean. Friendly building. Everything worked as it was suppose to. Convenient to the beach (obviously); restaurants; and highways. Can't imagine you could get more for your money than this unit. I'd definitely come back; and I'd definitely recommend it to others. "

Direct beach front balcony, bedroom located in back, some sounds can be heard from hall way but not bad as there is only 4 units per floor. Small bathroom but o.k. Parking spot assigned. Very nice unit to relax in. "

"Perfect Beach location
This condo has a great location with fantastic views of the gulf. The bedroom is at the back of the unit and is very dark and noisy first thing in the morning. Not an issue for early risers. One of the beds is very uncomfortable with a spring poking up thru the mattress. I would replace the two beds with one king. My wife and I do not like to sleep against the wall so we had to sleep in separate beds. Only one restaurant and coffee shop within walking distance so a car is a must. Kitchen was adequate but could use some new sharp knifes.
Dishwasher did not clean very well"

"Beware
The property at The Pointe 502 is a well appointed unit on a beautiful beach. The issue is the unit is on the 5th floor and the elevator has had long standing maintenance problems and is only available intermittently. This may not be a problem for some, but we are a retired couple and my husband has lung cancer which makes climbing 5 flights of stairs in the heat out of the question. This ruined our stay. We hesitated to go out, as we didn't know if the elevator would be working to get us back upstairs. We had out of town guests arrive Wednesday, planning to spend the night. The elevator was not in operation that day, and they were not able to do the stairs, so our plans were ruined and they never came in. From talking to people in the building, we were told the elevator has been like this for quite awhile and everyone is well aware of it. We feel Florida Lifestyle should have warned us about the issue, and we would have chosen another property. They did not act in the interest of the client."

"Perfect Everything!
This condo is great. From the LR/kitchen layout which is a roomier, wider living area than the typical and larger 2/2 to the proximity to the water (actually much closer to the waters edge than other direct gulffront buildings, this place was perfect.
Gorgeous granite in the kitchen and very nice upgraded sofa/chairs in the LR
And the price was an absolute bargain. (yes it was late October/early November).
Mgmt was great. Had one problem when I got there with a router that wasn't working with my computer and they got it fixed the next day!
The elevator did go out once during the 3 weeks I was there but there is a number in the lobby and I called him and it was fixed in 45 minutes. Apparently it just pops a breaker and you just have to re-set it.
All in all, I am looking for a place like this to buy! Wonderful area too and a very quiet lovely part of the beach. Enjoy!"

"Elevator issues
There is a major problem when you rent a 5th floor condo and the elevator does not work. I overlooked the first two times during the week when the elevator would not work and we walked up and down to the 5th floor.
It became unacceptable when the elevator did not work on Saturday morning when it was time to check out. I had to carry everything down five flights of stairs at four o'clock in the morning.
How do you expect people to do business with your company when this is allowed to happen.
I would be very hesitant to rent in this building again unless there was some kind of assurance that the elevator is fixed. Apparently this is an ongoing issue and at the least Florida Lifestyles should have warned of this situation."

"Unit 502, The Pointe
As I noted on the survey turned in at end of stay, the unit was quite clean. However, the mattresses need to be replaced; they were lumpy and soft. The unit needed better reading lighting in the living room; lamps were not conducive to reading. The condo's elevator was not in service periodically and we were on the 5th floor; management did respond promptly to calls, but it was annoying to have to place several calls during the stay. Parking space for the unit was outside the covered area--rain and neighboring condo's sprinklers got us wet nearly every day."

"Piece of Paradise
We had a great time. Loved the furnishings in the condo, balcony and view was fantastic. The condo was very clean and we appreciated that.
On the downside, the condo building needs an outside shower to wash your feet off from the beach. The beds were not very comfortable (too soft)including the pull out sofa. "

"Great Location
In general, we enjoyed the property and would return. Great location. My only suggestions would be to replace the mattress on the queen bed which is of poor quality and not comfortable. The other suggestion would be to advise cleaners to do a more thorough job. I would say it was only "spot cleaned" at best prior to our arrival. We picked up pieces of a broken glass for days and the place needed dusting badly. Also I'm guessing that one element in the water heater is burned out.......based on how quick you run out of hot water."

Loved the stay despite a week of the tropical storm Debby. The main detraction wasn't due to management or the property - the storm deposited great deal of sea shells on the beach.
More to the point - the elevator broke. We are senior citizens and lived on the fifth floor. The management offered us another apartment, an upgrade. But the maintenance people fixed the elevator so quickly, we didn't need to move.
All in all - a very enjoyable experience. The week of nice weather after Debby just made it more obvious."
