Condo with 3 bedrooms and 2 and 1/2 baths was perfect for two retired adult couples. Walk out onto the lanai, down the steps and you are at the pool/beach or your private 2 car garage. Comfortable living quarters and well supplied. Great nearby restaurants and parks for hiking and biking. Already booked unit again for 2025."

"Great location but some terrible amities
Great location but the master bedroom is in desperate need of repair. Mattress sitting in creaking slats and just about broke our back from trying to sleep on it all week. Thank goodness for ibuprofen. Chairs at kitchen table are in need of replacement as well. Most of the beach stuff in the garage is broken and just needs to be thrown away. Make sure you take your beach towels because this unit has none (odd)! We had to purchase fans for the bedrooms because they were so hot. Cold in kitchen and living area but bedrooms are pretty warm. The convince to pool and beach exceptionally well. We won’t be back to this location until they change the bed in the master suite. Need to provide a garage door opener to renters. "

"Best Unit in Beach Palms!
After a rocky start (missing elevator key, A/C needed repaired), Beach Palms 109 was a true gem of a unit where we spent a wonderful 4 weeks, nearly as great as the weather, minus one breezy (50 mph winds!) day. The pool access from the balcony was great, and the same access to the garage from the pool area meant storage of beach chairs there, for an easy move to the beach. It was very nice to have laundry facilities in-unit and the place was very well appointed, with leather sofa/loveseat/recliner set and TV's in every bedroom. The 2-car garage was convenient and pool/beach chairs/toys were provided inside the garage. We were able to convince Free Beach Ride to take us to John's Pass a couple times and other restaurants in between. The beach was beautiful, the pool was warm and friendly and even used the gas grills a few times! The balcony provided a perfect setting for the daily sunsets over the water. Red Tide issues aside (not anyone's cause), we had a great month of Florida sunshine and the best facility from which to enjoy. Thanks!"

"Over the top
We loved the condo 109. You can’t get any closer or easier walk to beach. The two car garage was so convenient to drop beach gear in before walking up the few outdoor steps to get to the balcony. "Vacay room 109 for 2022
The room itself was wonderful. The concern we had was the bedding which were old and uncomfortable. The sheets were like sleeping on sandpaper. There were no designated bed pillows on the master bed. There were no wash clothes, extra towels or other supplies...sheets, blankets, etc. The beach, pool, and resort amenities are fabulous. We have stayed at this property 4 times before, and never had these concerns. "

"NOT THE BEST
Unit has a great view, nice 2+ car garage. All the bed mattresses need to be replaced along with the pillows. The toilets set on the floor great if you are 4' tall, they run all the time. Bath faucets are outdated. Unit sleeps 6 people only had 8 bath towels,2 wash clothes,3 hand towels,5 bathmats, I guess you do laundry every day. Living room fan will not run unless the light is on, makes the bedrooms hard to cool. Kitchen lighting is not bright enough. Dishes are a mix of whatever. Tables on the pool deck should have umbrellas because you can't set up a canopy for shade which is BS. One grille should be rebuilt or replaced. Pool deck & chairs are cleaned every morning. Property overall is very clean. Location is OK. Unit just needs some updates badly. If the unit had some updates, I would recommend this unit. I would recommend the property as a whole. "

"Great unit and fantastic location
Very happy with unit. There was no paper towel or trash bags left. The unit needs a deep clean and was dusty. The dusty could be coming from a/c unit filter that has not been replaced or cleaned in a LONG time. The kitchen is ok. Very short on spoons and forks. "

"Great location
Love the location and view from the balcony. The interior bathrooms need some updating. A a couple of days after arriving we found a load of wet towels and bedding in the washer which explained tr mildew smell in the condo. There was also mildew growing in the bathroom. A new cleaning service might be a good idea. This is ou second stay at this condo and our third at the unit. "

"2020 Florida Vacation

"Perfect! We will be back!!
The condo was everything we expected and more! It has some weird shapes and angles and a million light switches- but we just laughed about this! The garage is much larger than they tell you. We fit two vehicles and had plenty of room. They have all the beach amenities you can think of. Bikes a kayak corn hole boards chairs rafts skim board boogie boards small tables! The rooms were all comfortable. Mattresses could be replaced. Master bath is a bit older and sinks are small but it didn’t interfere in anything we did. Great views easy access to beach and pool. We never used the front door except to get in initially , to take out the garbage, and to leave. sea bird Sanctuary is a quick 2 minute walk and you can access street or beach side. Lots to eat around here! Our favorite was the conch republic for dinner. We didn’t need anything! Maintenance was quick to respond- shower handle was stripped- came right out and fixed it. Two other rooms share a jack and Jill bathroom- you can’t tell from the pictures. And the rooms are smaller than the pictures show. They say queen beds but they’re really doubles/full size. It worked out wonderfully for us and the other couple we travelled with! And you can rent cabana chairs right on the beach. We called months ahead and when we got in our chairs were already set up with our names on them. We just paid the next day when we saw the guy! And they come by in the afternoon to move the umbrella for you to keep you shaded. The beach was wonderful and a great walk. Not a lot of shells but lots of birds that come visit. We will be back next year!"

Beautiful rental, tastefully decorated in a great location. The unit needs some updating in the master bathroom and the hardware on the outer doors needs to be secured, but the general condition of the unit is excellent. The kitchen is perfectly stocked. We loved having our own steps to the pool area and our own garage. Only negative was not having a hot tub."

"Great Condo!

"Winter break on the beach
My family of 6 stayed a week at beach palms 109. We were impressed with the size and layout of the condo. The easy access to the pool and beach were a plus for us! The two car garage made for easy parking. The kayak was a fun extra to our adventure!
We were disappointed in some of the amenities. The bed sheets were all extremely pilled and one of the beds sheets we're inside out because of the pilling. We had to buy a new set of bed sheets to put on the bed so that we could sleep in comfort. Another bed sheet appeared to be dirty still and had numerous hairs on it.
The bed in the master bedroom was extremely lumpy and uncomfortable. The toilets in the master bedroom and the spare bathroom were old and need to be replaced. It took multiple Flushing on many occasions to get simple fluids down the toilet.
For the majority of the week the unit above us was doing heavy construction during the day which included using a saw on their porch and rolling something along the floor all day long. Although it is understandable that we can't control another's time of remodeling it was difficult to sleep during those times and an extra irritant to our vacation.
Our 2 year old and a friend that was visiting both were stung on their foot while cleaning the sand from their feet. This happened at the dedicated feet cleaning spot upon exiting the beach.
We are unsure if we will return to this beach resort because of this experience. We believe that for the price we paid we could find something nicer that at least comes with clean sheets.
The staff at the rental company were friendly and polite as always and we appreciate their kindness.

we have stayed in Palm Beach before,so we are familiar with the area. good restaurants North and South of the condo. Especially enjoy John's Pass with it's access to shopping and water activities. 109 was large and well decorated but did need some updates to the master bath fixtures. Direct access to the pool and beach as well as 2 car garage is huge plus."

This was the third time that we stayed in this condominium. The location and set up a beat and the condominium is beautifully decorated . Unfortunately after six years there has been a lot of wear and tear and the bed in the master bedroom is horrible There are actually giant lumps in it !!!!!!!"

A few disappointments. Tried unsuccessfully to connect WiFi first day. As the phone was Dead" or "Not connected" I was charged roaming fees. -- MB Toilet leaking--promises were not fulfilled. -- Only 3 chairs on Patio -- MB closet remains lock, no where to store luggage except to keep it in the room. --2016 rental almost had doubled-- unreasonable!

"We'll Be Back!
We rented Beach Palms 109 for the fourth year during the months of February and March 2014. It is a great unit/great location; great view. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay.
The grounds are very well maintained and clean. One of the bedroom windows in this unit is beside a walkway that leads from just outside this condos hallway door to the pool area. There is a security gate directly beside this one bedroom window. As people come and go, they let the security gate spring back to the closed position making a crashing sound. It would be really nice if management would put a sign up by the gate asking patrons to close the gate quietly. Or just "please do not let the gate slam closed".
The furniture in the unit needed some repair...coffee table in the living room had a broken leg as did a couple of chairs around the dining room table. Also, the plug in the master bathroom sink is broken. The master bedroom bed needs a new mattress/frame. We probably notice it more since we are there for two months.
The property location is very nice; within walking distance to a great coffee shop in one direction and a couple of breakfast/dinner places in the other. Not a far drive to Clearwater and Madeira Beach/John's Pass with many great restaurants all around; "PJ's Oyster Bar" is great/fun and at John's Pass "The Friendly Fisherman" restaurant is great place to eat and sit on the deck by the water to watch the dolphins/boats/etc. (both have good food).
Upon arrival the basics in the unit were clean; the cabinets under the bathroom sinks needed some attention as did dresser drawers. The property management team at Florida Lifestyles are very nice people and aim to please. The reservation process and check in/out is smooth.
We do love Beach Palms 109 and we will be back in 2015! "

"Great Location, But poor cleaning people
We loved the location, the stairs down to the pool and beach was great! with four kid's it made it a lot easier.But when we first got there the cleaning girl was still there, so we had to pile everything outside until she was done.Then we got in and the placed smelled like dirty bleach water, and it was kid's feet were black just walking barefoot. had my husband get me cleaning stuff so I could clean everything. I didn't want my 1 year old crawling around on a dirty floor. I had to clean the toilets too.I called the vacation company and they were very helpful,I guess the owner has his own cleaning staff. Hopefully he gets a new one.Getting there with four young kids and having to clean was stressful, it's supposed to be vacation. But other then that, the place was great!I would book again, and just hope it will be cleaner next time."

"Absolutely AWESOME!!
We were "in charge" of planning this year's family vacation for members coming from Ohio, Texas, and Florida. We received major kudos for choosing this condo! The condo itself is huge, very well decorated, newly updated, and has everything you could possibly need. It was extremely comfortable throughout. As far as location, it can't be beat. Beach Palms is right in the middle of great scenery, shopping and eating; no long distances to anywhere you'd want to go. As far as the room's location, we literally felt like we owned the whole building! The 1st Floor balcony overlooks the pool, the beach, and the gate to the beach. The private stairs led directly to the pool as well as the included 2-car private garage. Like I said, absolutely AWESOME!!"

My family and I stayed over the 4th of July and the week after and had the most amazing time. Beach Palms 109 was beautifully decorated and very accessible to the pool and beach which the kids thought was great. We have stayed at Beach Palms before but this condo was by far the best one we have stayed in. My family and I would definitely stay at Beach Palms 109 and highly recommend to anyone who is planning a stay at Indian Shores. We had a very hard time leaving but we will be back again real soon. "

"Great place!
The units best quality is its location. You have your own stairs directly to the pool and to the beach....big plus! Great if you have kids you can watch them on the beach or in the pool right from the balcony. This unit is nicely decorated however there was no sleeper sofa like advertised when we arrived, but the management quickly solved that by sending over roll a ways. Only two complaints #1 the kitchen is not stocked with enough . not one single big pot to boil anything or any pans to bake so if you like to cook might consider this. Also #2 not sure if this unit is in some save the power program but the air seemed to go off every night in the middle of the night and it got warm enough to wake everyone even my kids in the night. By morning though it was cool again and in the day it was always cool no matter the temp outside. Would definately come back if the air problem was resolved."

"Great time at Beach Palms
We really enjoyed staying in Beach Palms 109. The unit is fantastic with a balcony that overlooks the beach and pool. The unit is very nicely furnished and well supplied with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The only negative is the sound in the 3rd bedroom from a gate providing access to the pool that is just outside the bedroom window which slams everytime someone uses it. This noise does generally stop when the pool closes. We love the unit and will definitely return."

"Lovely condo, lovely vacation
The modern furnishings in this condo are clean and is the nicest one we've stayed at and we come here every year. Management was very helpful with the smaller details. Only two problems at all. 1. The TV needs three wizards and two magicians to operate. Someone should leave detailed instructions what to do and not do. 2. The back bedroom can be difficult as it is right beside the gate to come upstairs and people tend to talk loudly and slam the gate. I don't know what can be done about that, but someone should try something, maybe a sign not to slam? People just don't think about someone sleeping a few feet away. Other than that, the place is a dream! We had no problems with the pool, only one day in two weeks that we had to wait for a lounge chair, and having the grills to use was a real treat. We'll come back if we can."

"Nice Condo but.......
Overall we enjoyed the condo, everything updated and stocked well, except for having only 5 wash cloths. The property was not occupied the week before so when we checked in every surface was covered in dust, we were lead to believe it was an A/C issue, however after we dusted the furniture ourselves we did not have any further problems. The owner should provide an elevator key to the guests as we had to walk up to the front of the building to use the elevator when we went out and the balcony sliding doors were locked. We also suggest that there be clear instructions on the use of the TV and the washer and dryer, etc., along with some kind of list of the channels. We had to reset the cable box 2-3 times a day, the TV went out several times, along with the channel guide. We would return to the unit but from past reviews it sounds like the summer is a nightmare with the number of families and kids allowing everyone they know to come into the pool area. In regard to the pool, we could not enjoy it, it was freezing, when we asked we were told there was a set time on when they turned the heater on. That is not fair to the tenants or guests with a nice week but cool nights and the pool in the shade until 1 pm, there was no chance of it warming up. I hope the owner is reading these along with the management company to the complex, as a nicely decorated and furnished condo is not all it takes to make a stay completely satisfactory which is what guests expect."

"Lots of unwelcome visitors!!
Management company sent someone out to the unit, while I was not there only my children were there, person came in didn't say who they were and then left, without any explanation, very unprofessional, once again met with the cochroach visitor in the middle
of the night, I will not be going back to this property again, its sad to pay $1500 for a week and then be afraid to get up out of the bed in the middle of the night to use the restroom that a cockroach is going to walk across your foot! Had the same issue
last year, fooled me once shame on you, fooled me twice shame on me!"

"The reason we continue to rent BP#108 too
We have rented this condo along with BP#108 for 3 consecutive years. This owner has upgraded this condo to 4.6 stars. The owner of BP#108 should be given a tour of 109. The only issues: cleanliness of the floors this year, whoever cleaned missed spills of food and drink and didn't appear to wash out the bath vanity bowls. This complex has a problem (I assume with the condo owners permission) allowing not only to many overnight guests in each condo but also allowing lots more to use the pool and grills on weekends, especially Memorial day weekend. Tell the owner thanks for what he or she has done to transform this condo into a place you look forward to renting."

"The unit that we stayed in was very convenient to the pool and beach with its private entrance. The condo itself was spacious and professionally decorated. We were personally contacted by the decorator/manager of the unit -we were very pleased.
My concern is that over the years the property itself has changed. In our early years of renting for spring break and other times, the property formerly known as Beach Cottage III was managed by a person full time. Billy was mainly there for the residents, but also made it his business to know the renters each week. He would ask to see your key until he knew you. The end result of this was only the people that had contracts were able to be poolside or on the property in general. What it has turned into is a similiar environment as "Panama City at Spring Break" as my 23 year old daughter stated. Many, many people at the pool on a daily basis, did not have units at
Beach Palms. At one time I counted 17 teenagers in the pool. They were having what I would call "clean fun" but all the while, were a bit rough and of course took up the space that the families would have been in, that were renting residents, had there been room. The adolescents went so far as to prop the gate open for their easy access too and from the beach. We also noticed that several renting families hosted folks who were at other condos, but came for the pool for the day. I personally did not talk to the caretaker of the pool, but I understand at least three other renting families did with this concern. I understand that property managers are trying to keep costs down by not hiring an overseer for the entire day, but because of this decision, it is truly a free flow now. It is a nicer pool with a nicer deck area than most places and it has not gone unnoticed by those passing by. I would hope that someone would work to correct this situation before our next visit.
One last parting comment. Martha is a jewel! I feel like through the years she has become a trusted friend.
