"Quiet Beach stay
We enjoyed our stay and the beauty and vigor of the ocean and sand. We like the quiet of The Inn and Dauphin Island. As we get older we appreciate a larger bed so we will look for one next year. We think the bathtub could use a rubber insert since our balance is not what it used to be. We loved buying fish seafood nearby."

"Would have been perfect if not for the door lock not working
The location was beautiful,easy access to the water,beaches are clean and pretty,but my door lock to the room did not work right and I was in a Panic when I couldn’t get in and there was nobody to help was like that the whole time , well until I just left it unlocked and put my valuables in my car locked up whenever I left the condo.I complained daily,until I gave up.One lady actually laughed because I had to lock my stuff this was very disappointing.I came alone for the first time and that was not a fun experience.I have yet to hear from anyone.I asked for some kind of reimbursement but I won’t hold my breath!"

"Perfect Getaway
We stayed in 307 for three days as we had decided to extended our vacation and the other unit was not available. The unit was clean. The view was amazing. Longer walk to the beach than I’m used to, but you just have to pace yourself. The pools were never crowded. The staff and property manager was a delight to work with. They were very nice and accommodating. "

"Wonderful getaway
The condo and unit was exactly as described, and it was very cozy. The bed and pillows definitely need to be replaced, but did the job. One thing to note- it's difficult to hear the waves from the balcony because all of the AC units are on the sides of the building. It was a constant white noise. It was a bit disappointing, but walked to the beach in the early morning for coffee instead. View was lovely, just no ocean sounds which is why I give it a 3/5 of overall satisfaction.

Quiet walks on the beach and gorgeous sunsets were trip highlights and we look forward to returning in the future. "Family of 3 vacation
Clean room, great view, perfect size for the three of us. Missing some vital condo essentials. There was no extra toilet paper. When advertising a coffee pot you would think there would be coffee filters, there weren't. They wanted us to clean all dishes before leaving which is fine, but if I only have a cup and plate, I'm not running the dishwasher. I would need some dish soap to wash by hand. There was none. Also no sponge or cloth to wash the dishes.There were wash clothes but we probably ruined some of them using them to clean some skillets. Don't plan on watching any T.V, it's only adds or pay for movies. The DVD/blueray player is a trick to get working. (We only used it once or twice for our 2 year old while we were fixing dinner or getting ready.) There are WAY TO MANY remotes. There were no extra trash bags for trash in kitchen or bathroom. Als, for a condo it seems standard to have salt, pepper, and sugar. Nope.
Just something to consider. The master bed is pretty uncomfortable. It's not bad but really firm and on the smaller size. If it were my condo, I'd upgrade to a bigger bed with a softer mattress.
I know these were a lot of things that could be improved, but overall it was a very nice place to stay. The view is incredible. We even saw dolphins one morning and has great access to the beach. The building overall was great. The room could just use a few of those essentials."

"This California Visitor Was Delighted By The Uncrowded Beach
I flew from Southern California to Dauphin Island for a June family reunion. I loved the uncrowded, relatively undeveloped atmosphere of our location on Dauphin Island. I appreciated the low rise, informal vibe of the four-story building where seven of us stayed, with assorted day visitors, in two apartments. The staff were polite and professional. All good! I hope Dauphin Island continues to resist overdevelopment (and hopefully bans single use plastics at the shore —I collected bags of errant plastic and discarded cigarette butts on every beach stroll, sorry to say). "

"307 review
We've stayed at The Inn at Dauphin island twice per summer for about 10 years and have enjoyed our times there immensely always recommending it to friends. Although we did enjoy our last visit I believe there could be some changes to 307. The bed was very uncomfortable and the couch as well. While there were plenty of towels, only a couple of wash cloths were available. I also think that instructions should be made available for renters in the operation of the TV and dishwasher as we had difficulty there. While these may be minor problems to some I believe that vacations should be total stress free. The sleeping conditions are the most important items that should be remedied first."

Dauphin Island was great as always. The unit we stayed at was not! We entered to find a strong foul oder. We aired out the unit and that got rid of the oder. It was coming from the garbage disposal. There was also lots of dust on top of both fans, real dirty. The management Company makes you strip the bed and start a load of laundry before departure. What do They do for the $50 cleaning fee?"

"Enjoyable but some flies in the otherwise good ointment
Yes this is a good apartment although the décor makes it feel a bit cold and impersonal. It is clean which is the number one priority and (most) things work. The view is great although you will have several (I counted 14) oil platforms (large and small) on the horizon or a bit closer. I have seen comments about oil on the beach, but I saw none of that and instead found it to be a really good beach only a short work from the apartment.
Apartment 307 is right in the middle of the building, which is convenient when arriving and leaving as the elevator is almost right next to the apartment front door. It does mean that the garbage shoots (which are at each end of the building) are not as conveniently placed. I found no problem with noise because of the elevators, but I did have another problem. For some reason there is a window in the bedroom right out to the hallway where the elevators are located. This is lit all night long meaning there is light in the bedroom all night as the curtains do not keep enough of the light out. I found this very annoying.
There was another thing that really annoyed me during my stay. The refrigerator appears like new, which is great but for some reason the ice make in the freezer does not work. So, you are in a beach holiday resort but no ice maker for the many drinks you will naturally want to make. It simply makes no sense. I asked management about this and was just told no in that unit the ice make did not work. When inquiring if this could please be fixed I was simply told no with no explanation. Instead I had to go out and buy old fashion ice trays and freeze ice cubes that way.
I will also say that I found the furniture on the balcony really uncomfortable. In a place like this I like sitting on the balcony in the morning before going to the beach or to breakfast and evening after a day of beach and ocean fun and relax a bit with cold drink and enjoy the view. "Disappointed
New refrigerators had been installed in several units and management was unable to connect the ice makers. We were told to go to a service station and to buy some ice. If you know that you have a problem, you could have provided some ice cube trays. And, for what we were paying, we shouldn't have to go and buy our own ice.
We also had a medical emergency back home and had to leave a day early. We were told that a refund was out of the question.
Customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

Convenient location, easy access, unit clean, well appointed and very quiet even though ours was located right above pool. Pool was beautiful. No complaints. Do wish there would be more info readily available on surf conditions. Was hearing buzz that bacterial conditions all along the Gulf Coast were at dangerous levels. No one wants to curtail tourism dollars by scaring people away from the coast, but safety and well being of patrons should always come first. Providing resources and up-to-date information on status/warnings would be greatly appreciated and respected. Just posting an informational board in your lobby or at the gate leading down to the beach with web links to current maps and warnings would be super helpful in keeping everyone safe and informed. "

"Nice room, great location, awesome island
The room was great had everything we needed, was very convenient. The only thing I could have asked for was another blanket, and some room darkening curtains on the bedroom window. It was as bright as day in the bedroom at night and difficult to sleep. There are exactly 4 lights by the elevator and 1 directly by the window all shining like the sun. If I had to do it over again I would bring a dark blanket to put over the sheer curtains in that room. Otherwise, I think we would have slept well. It was very quiet. "

"Overdue vacation
Pleasant people to work with over the phone they were very helpful in explaining the rental process and the island itself. The room overall was very nice and comfortable for the two of us. Everything we needed was there. Our biggest problem was the size of the bed it was a little small for us and was very hard and uncomfortable. The entry light was above the bedroom window and lit up the bedroom. The blind did not help, there may have been a switch but we did not find it, the gate broke just as we arrived. The gate was fixed on Monday and we just dealt with the bed and light. Everyone was nice,friendly and helpful. The view was everything I had hoped for. "

"Condo conditions.
We started coming to the Inn when it first opened. But when the manager at that time retired and new people came on things start going down. The owners don't seem to be required to have suitable furniture, you can't even set on our sofa it's so bad. The exterior has gotten really dirty, green mold everywhere, elevators not clean, windows not washed and condos not very clean on check in. We pay more and nothing improves. We are considering not coming back because of these issues. Would be a shame we love it here on the Island."

I was a bit skeptical when booking as we normally vacation closer to Destin. This was way more convenient coming from Louisiana on a holiday weekend. The prices were inflated like others. And the July 4th fireworks were just outside. We will definitely be back!! Also, Greers market on the way in was the perfect stop to shop. "

"Felt just like home
My husband and I loved this unit. It had every amenity we needed to feel like we were at home while on vacation at the same time. The home decor was very nice and I liked the tropical theme throughout the unit. We enjoyed relaxing in the unit and then exploring Dauphin Island as well as the neighboring Gulf Shores communities I(a short drive away by ferry). Most enjoyable was the ability to easily access the clean-kept beach. The balcony view was so beautiful. We also enjoyed using the swimming pools on the property."

Pool outside of the facility stayed dirty our entire stay. We would not swim in it because of the dirt. The outside trash can by the walk way to the beach was overflowing and looked horrible. It was never emptied throughout our stay. "

What a lovely clean condo. We were very impressed with the friendliness of the staff. The condo was spotless and even nicer than the pictures. We loved the uncrowded beach of Dauphin Island! Balcony was fairly quiet, no a/c noise noticed like on the 1st and 2nd floors.
The town was nice but a bit expensive if you had to buy staples. Try to stop at the Dollar General in Alabama Port between Tillman's Corner and Dauphin Island. Looked like a good place for beach toys. We rented chaise lounges and sun chairs from Also rented a boogie board from them as well."

Our condo was clean and ready to settle into for a short but well needed vacation. The view from the 3rd floor was breathtaking. We got to enjoy a shopping trip to the Treasure Trove, a dinner at Pelican Reef and JT's Sunset Grill.
