"July 4 vacation
Our rental in 404 was nice.
Kitchen was fully equipped. The freezer was missing a shelf and the ice maker did not work.
Master bath- bath mats need to be replaced. White towels would be nice and would feel cleaner.
Master bed- did not use the comforter. Not sure the last time it was cleaned.
Living room furniture was great!
Overall good stay!

"Perfect Escape
We loved our week at Dauphin Island, but what made it perfect was the condo! Everything we needed in a home away from home with plenty of space and beautifully decorated. We will recommend this location and condo to friends and family! "

"Lovely condo, Spacious and Convenient. Bring TP and trash bags.
The condo was spacious and clean upon arrival. The one small thing we needed engage management/maintenance on (the dryer wasn't spinning during a cycle) was handled quickly and without any inconvenience to us. They should really advertise how large the master shower is, even with a shower curtain it was very spacious which I appreciate.
I would suggest bringing your own toilet paper and trash bags as they will not supply extras beyond what is there upon check in and the toilet paper that is provided is pretty low quality."

"Good overall location, OK condo
The island is beautiful and family friendly. The location of the condo is good and makes it easy to access beach, though I wish beach a bit cleaner (less muddy waters). The condo is totally dated and cluttered with stuff making it difficult to use. It can totally use renovation and space optimization. We felt like it was too expensive for the quality of the condo unit. The pools were good and clean."

Absolutely loved this condo. The sunset and sunrise views are great. 4th floor and being up high for better views of the beach was perfect. The condo inside was perfect. Everything is in good condition and beautiful. They have the perfect patio furniture with the couch and chair setup. Please replace the also rusted out metal chair on the patio."

"A Perfect Retreat
Everything was wonderful, from the location to the cleanliness of the unit. My only criticism would be lack of communication as far as the check-in process. We had to call once there to get the gate code and how to get condo key. Thank goodness the staff were still in office. "

Everything was perfect for our family of 3. This was our second stay in this unit. The kitchen was well stocked & perfect for cooking meals. The decor is a little unorthodox, but comfortable. We will definitely be back. Please don’t tell anyone, we want to keep this place all to ourselves! "

"Nice and Comfortable apartment
The apartment was spacious and comfortable, had a nice living area and kitchen (which was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils), and the bedrooms were comfortable. It was clean, though not meticulously so, though certainly clean enough. The apartment could use some updating - some panels were missing from our blinds, the towels were a bit rough, and the bathroom in general could use some love. Overall, however, it was much more comfortable than staying in a regular hotel - having a kitchen and living area made it a very pleasant place to stay. Also, you just can't beat the view, or the proximity to the beach. We would certainly stay here again."

"Great location and Clean!
This is the cleanest and most comfortable condo we have stayed in at Dauphin Island in 12 years of annual visits.
The bathrooms were perfect for a 2 bedroom condo and the balcony is huge. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and cookware. We were very impressed with 405 at the Inn."

"Great View & Amenities, Needs Updated
We enjoyed the balcony view, electric grill, amenities, layout on the 4th floor, huge luggage carts and the two elevators were great. This condo could use deep cleaning everywhere, updated decorations, window coverings and balcony furniture. We enjoyed beach time and relaxing on the balcony facing the Gulf, a bit too cool for using the lovely pools. Islander's Restaurant & Skinners Seafood were our favorites for seafood. The Shell Mounds was good birding. Some retails added 4% charge to credit card payment, so take cash, no ATMs. . The Happy Octopus had the best ice cream and The Silver Pearl & Hippie Fish had wonderful gifts. A nice sun and beach get-away to totally relax."

"Room 405
The Inn at Dauphin Island is great. This is my 3rd visit. On this occasion, we stayed in room 405. The kitchen was awesome - fully stocked and clean. I wish I could say the same for the rest. The bedrooms were not too clean; the carpets were dirty and stained. They are in bad need of professional cleaning. There was a layer of crime on the ceiling fans as well as the refrigerator. The bath mat to the master bathroom was filthy. We took it upon ourselves to wash it. Two smoke alarms were missing and one of the TV remotes did not work. The front door lock occasionally malfunctioned. The handle to the sliding glass door had loose screws. I tightened them as best as I could, but did not have a screwdriver handy. Last year we stayed in 406, which was waaay better."

"AMAZING GULF FRONT CONDO – MAY 2020
I have no complaints about this spacious Gulf front condo. What you see in the photos is what you get. The views of the Gulf are amazing. After-hours check in was perfectly easy.
LOCATION – The condo is on the fourth (top) floor of the building. Easy access by elevator. The building was easy to find. Plenty of parking. It is located on a quiet area of the beach. Actually, all of Dauphin Island seemed to be uncrowded, from traffic to the beach. It was very peaceful and relaxing.
BEACH PROVISIONS – Umbrellas and beach chairs are NOT provided. There were two beach towels and two inflatable rafts in the condo when we were there.
OUTDOOR FURNITURE – Five chairs and two tables on the spacious balcony. Two rockers. Two wooden folding chairs. One Adirondack chair. NEW cushions.
POOLS – Two pools that you can look down on from your balcony. One is heated. One is not. Plenty of lounge chairs around the pools. Lots of screaming/crying children in the pool all day, and the sound comes directly up to your balcony.
ENTERTAINMENT – Smart TVs with Directv in the living room and both bedrooms. There is a telescope in the condo, which was a nice surprise.
BATHROOMS – Two full baths, one for each bedroom. Hair dryers in each bathroom. One roll of toilet paper and one tiny bar of soap provided, so bring extra. No shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. Plenty of towels provided.
KITCHEN – Ice maker in the fridge (just turn it on when you get there). One roll of paper towels provided. Be sure to bring hand soap. Two dishwasher soap packets provided. Drip coffee maker. No Keurig. Blender works great. Plenty of cookware, glasses, and dishes. The dishwasher is loud, so do not turn it on when you are going to bed. Dishes must be washed and put away before you check out.
BEDROOMS – King bed in master suite, which has its own balc"

"A Lovely Place to Stay
We had a wonderful time staying in this condo on Dauphin Island. The apartment was attractive and comfortable, and the view of the ocean from the balcony was beautiful.
The chairs at the table were very sturdy, but they made a scraping noise as they were moved across the tile floor. Since we had family members staying in two other condos who also ate meals in our apartment, the chairs were moved quite often. The noise was a minor annoyance for us, but apparently it really bothered the people staying below us. The manager called me and asked if he could put some "quiet feet" on the chairs. He was very nice about the whole situation, and as soon as he made the repair, the noise was gone.
I highly recommend The Inn and hope to stay there again myself in the future."

"Peaceful Escape
We had quality time with our family of 17 renting 4 condos on this quiet beach during the first week of June. A great place to enjoy time together on the beach, in the pool and cooking our own seafood meals without the distractions of more commercial areas."

"Great place, great view but lots of rules.
The condo had everything we needed for a week’s stay plus a great view. It was clean and the management staff were friendly and helpful. The negative would be the chair cushions on the balcony - faded, stuffing falling out- need to be replaced & has been mentioned in other reviews. I thought they would have been replaced by our stay. There are lots of rules to follow so read before you rent. Even though you pay $95 for cleaning, you need to strip the beds, start a load of towels, empty the dishwasher and take out all trash before you leave. Also if you leave something behind,you need to call, pay $25 plus shipping to have it returned. "

Being on the 4th floor we had beautiful sunrises & sunsets. We enjoyed the extra exercise from walking the 4 flight of stairs. Kitchen was adequate for cooking and trash removal was close by. Loved the sounds of the ocean and beautiful white sandy beaches for walking. "

"Just what we needed
Our second stay at the Inn and a much better experience. The two bedroom unit was nicely decorated and very clean. It was stocked with everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. A little trouble getting our packet out of the box, but the on call had that solved in about an hour. A larger patio table would be nice as we like to sit outside to eat and relax. Already planning our trip for next October and will choose this unit again without hesitation."

"Nice Condo with Beautiful View
We were there because I participated in the Tri the Gulf triathlon and it was a great location for that. It was just down the road from the Start and Finish line and the bike ride went right past the condo so my family was able to see me ride by and cheer me on. I gave 4 stars for condition only because the recliner needs to be replaced--it's basically broken and the cushions on the outside chairs need to be replaced--the material was worn away and the stuffing was sticking out, but these are small things, I liked the condo. It would be better if, when leaving, I didn't have to have all the dishes washed and PUT AWAY--that means there is no time for breakfast b/c check out is at 10 am--I am on vacation and I'm not getting up early. It would be better if the dishwasher just had to be started when leaving. It would also be nice if they supplied a small thing of hand dish washing soap. I always forget that. Overall, though, I would stay there again."

We have stayed in this condo two previous times as like the two time before we were very pleased by it looks and upkeep. Probably won't be back, though, because of the ever decreasing beach. I have a problem breathing and can't take long walks and the gulf in just too far out now so we will need to find someplace walkable for me. No complaints, though, on the codo. It was great "

"EXCELLENT WEEK ON THE ISLAND
The condo was very clean and up to date, we didn't have any trouble at all and absolutely loved the location, décor, and everything about this place. Traffic in the area is light, the beaches and pool aren't crowded at all, and the local shops and restaurants are excellent. Plus, you are close to Foley, AL if you want to shop. The management team is excellent and went way above and beyond when we left a load of clothes in the dryer, they found them, boxed them up and shipped home to us. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. We will definitely be back!!"

"Not the best unit...
This particular unit wasn't in as good shape as the others in that the linens, blankets, and towels were old, worn, and raggedy. The rest of the property was fine, but I wouldn't stay in this particular unit again. Other units we have stayed in at The Inn were very nice and had nicer amenities. "

"Comfortable condo on the beach
We enjoyed our stay at this comfortable condo. It is right on the beach with easy parking. It is on the top floor and in the mornings we could sometimes see dolphins in the ocean with binoculars. Beds were comfy though firm. Condo was clean and tidy. Elevators to top floor were a nice surprise. There are eating places within walking distance if you don't want to cook."

"Quiet and relaxing
We liked the fact that it was not crowded. At the time of our stay there were some snowbirds,but not any children running around. Very quiet and peaceful.
The property is on the gulf and the views are great. There is a boardwalk to get to the beach,which is farther than some folks may like,but not so far that you cannot hear the surf. Our condo had everything that we needed. The kitchen was nicely equipped with plenty of plates, pots and pans, and things that are needed to cook with. We had a great stay and I am sure we will go back."

This is the second year in a row we have stayed at The Inn at Dauphin Island. The view from the 4th floor is amazing. The condo was clean and well stocked with all the amenities we needed for the week. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs. We enjoyed the bike trails and ate all our meals on the balcony enjoying the view. We are looking forward to going again next October!"

"Beautiful Condo
This condo was incredible. It was imacuately clean, well furnished with contemporary comfortable furniture and had everything you would ever need in a condo. The condo as a whole was the same, very clean. The view from our room was breaktaking. I spent most of my time on our private balcony. The staff was very friendly. My only "complaint" is the beach is a bit of a walk. But who cares?! Amazing place! I would absolutely come back. I didn't want to leave! "

"Home away from home
We were very pleased with our rental experience. We had never been in the area and did not know what to expect. The property was very clean and convenient to everything. We would return to this property and have already recommended it to a friend. The property description was accurate and the pictures on the internet were helpful.
There were plenty of towels and sheets in our unit. The full size washer and dryer were great. The kitchen was well furnished but could use some bag clips and can coozies. The negative was the dishwasher was loud. The furnishings were clean and updated. The property grounds we well maintained.
We only went off island one day and it was to go a museum onshore as a birthday celebration. We went to the bird sanctuary (forgot bug spray), the Estuarium, Fort Gaines, the Indian shell mound, the goat tree, the West End Beach, the gift/souvenir shops and some delicious restaurants ( Dority's, the Islander, JT Sunset grill, and the Pirate's Pleasure).
Overall a very relaxing vacation."

We spent or 20th wedding anniversary at this condo. It was very well equipped to meet our needs tastefully decorated and pleasant. The only complaint was the refrigerator freezer smelled strongly of fish. Weather was perfect and vacation exceeded our expectations. Would definite return to the island and unit 405."

Unit needs updating and a through cleaning. Carpeting really needs to be replaced as well as the furniture. Furniture overwhelms the rooms. Hard to get up from the couch. Love the pillows and comforter in the master bedroom. Can't beat the patio furniture or the view. I would recommend this if updates were made."

"Autumn at the Beach
Overall the property was clean and in good working order. The elevators played a key part in our choosing this property. The rugs in the lobby and elevators were placed well to prevent accidents due to pool users dripping. The door stoppers on the front doors is perfection for loading and unloading. Last year someone went out and arranged the chairs around the pool in an orderly manner each morning...missed that this year. I know we all move them, but there is something nice about things looking neat as the day begins...just sayin. Sign at pool says no pets...that's great, but there was dog feces in the grass pool side. I realize the management cannot be everywhere all of the time...perhaps those with pets need a bigger sign. Front desk was extrememly friendly and helpful. Overall a 9 would be our rating for the experience this year. Oh wait, maybe one more thing...could you move the beach a little closer...lol, just sayin."

The whole island is lovely and the staff at The Inn were so friendly and helpful. The condo was great - you should let people know that they do not need to bring salt, pepper, toilet paper, etc!!! All essentials were provided, which was great. The only downside was that this condo is near the main air con vent. I'm assuming it is a main feed from the other condos in that "block", it was noisy! If you sleep very heavily, no prob!"

"Our Fall Getaway
We enjoyed our recent trip to the island. I would highly recommend. We were greeted upon arrival. All questions answered. Good experience. The condo was well appointed. Very nice furniture. Sofa, chairs and bed comfortable. Lots of towels and linens provided. There were beach towels too. The unit was clean, but not upon closer inspection. Lots of dust in corners and lint/dust on walls. This unit needs a deep cleaning. I would recommend this unit."
