"Great condo beautiful beach
The condo had a gorgeous view of the beach and had everything we needed, including beach has a large covered patio that overlooks one of the two pools.We enjoyed sitting there in the evening and early morning, and watching all the birds and even saw a red fox on the dunes.The beach was very clean and wasn’t crowded at all. Can’t wait to go back and stay longer next time. We will definitely rent the same place again."

"Great for a Family Vacay!
Great place for a family vacation! We loved the proximity of the restaurants and attractions as well as the friendliness of everyone we met. The beach is a good distance from the unit - we could see this from pictures but didn’t realize how hard of a walk it would be carrying everything for the kids and ourselves. It was a workout in the middle of the day. Also because of the distance you couldn’t hear the ocean from the condo balcony which was a bummer.
As for the unit, beds and couches were super comfy! The guest tub would barely drain so everyone had to use the master bath. The baseboards and doors with slats (in every single room) were covered in a thick layer of hair and dust which made us question the cleanliness of everything. With a good cleaning this unit would have been perfect.
It also came with beach toys, umbrella, chairs and a tent which was a very nice addition!"

"We had a great week.
We were in unit 310. It was clean, nicely appointed, had a great view of the beach. It was comfortable for the two 60+ couples staying there. There were only 4 wash cloths, but it was sized for 6 and our older kids came for a couple nights. Luckily a friendly neighbor gave us a couple more. The walk to the beach is long, made longer by the record-breaking heat that week. We rented umbrellas and chairs to keep out of the sun. The water was nice, though tepid at best. All that has little to do with the place though. The two pools were very clean and inviting. A few kids were playing there from time to time, which gave a homey feel. The balcony offered a great place to read and listen to the ocean when it wasn't too hot. I've seen some talk about the drill rigs offshore. You can see them. They are about 4 miles out but they look closer. They are gas rigs, not oil rigs. We found it fun to estimate their distance, and what the different structure were for. They had no real impact on our stay. At night they light up like Christmas trees, looked like a party was going on. I though it was interesting. No real impact on star gazing. We had a good time, and no problems with the place. Dauphin Island is small and quiet. You need to plan ahead if you wan to eat out or see attractions. But there was good food to be had, and short drive up to Mobile if you want something fancier. We checked out the aquarium and that was fun. Plenty of AC, and you can try to pet the rays in the petting pool. Overall I'd recommend this place to friends looking for a quiet beach."

"Relaxing Getaway
2bd 2 ba unit. It was just my husband and I, but would have been manageable for 2 couples. Enjoyed the stay. 2 nice pools. Unit was comfortable and clean. Office staff friendly. It is a long walk to the beach, so you're not getting that up close water view and experience. That is the only drawback."

"Clean condo on beautiful beach
The condo and building were clean and well maintained. Beds were very comfortable. The other reviews are true, you can watch dolphins from the balcony! The kitchen is well stocked and the in unit washer and dryer is very nice to have. The only drawbacks are that all air conditioning units are on the back side of the building and they drown out the sound of the beach on warm days. Also, we tried to call the management company to see if we could arrive a day early but because it was a weekend we never heard back. It would be nice if someone was reachable on weekends, they missed out on an extra day of rental if the unit was available.
Overall a great stay on a lovely island."

The ladies at the front desk were so helpful. The condo was so clean and had everything that we needed. We were on a trip with my grandsons Jr Beta and we went to the Aquarium and took the vessel so the children could learn more about the sea life. I would recommend this property to my friends. I really enjoyed our stay there.
The view from the condo was just amazing to see the beach and hear the waves. "

"The perfect spot
We rented for 5 days then added another 5 days because we found it a perfect spot on the gulf coast. The units are all in great condition. (We’ve stayed in many) The grounds and the pools (one heated) are beautiful and well taken care of. Every room has a view of the boardwalk and the ocean. The sound of the waves and the sea birds are so relaxing. The entire island is peaceful. If you like Long beach walks you can stroll out to Pelican Point or head out to the west end of the island and walk for miles ocean side or bay side. Always our happy place! "

"Great getaway!
The Inn is the perfect distance from the pool and beach! Very low key relaxing atmosphere. This condo was very clean and exactly as pictured. Enjoyed our stay. One of the pools is heated so that was a bonus! I do recommend that you make reservations for dinner if you want to eat on the island. The restaurants book quickly."

"Amazing place to get away and relax.
The condo was really nice. The boardwalk to the beach was not more than 150 yards. The view from 3rd floor or 4th floor is best. The condo’s are individually owned and decorated, remodeled etc... so one might be an older look, while another may be really updated and newer. So may want to check into which condo looks like what. The island is a pretty laid back and relaxing place. Especially the west end of the island beach. The condo is in the middle of the island so just a few mins you can be at either end. We will definitely be back. Don’t expect the ladies at the front desk to all be nice though. There were a couple that were friendly and made us feel welcome, but then there were a couple who made us feel like we were an inconvenience and looked as though we were going to bother them... so if your looking for customer service, you may get good service you may not. But don’t let that discourage you from enjoying the island and the nice condos here! "

"Roach Welcome
It was had to get over being greeted by a huge roach when we arrived. Besides that the fridge froze any food we put on the bottom shelf. We called the helpline and never got any help or a call back for an urgent problem.
I don't agree with being charged a cleaning fee and expecting me, the guest to do part of the cleaning. Also, there was rodent feces in the stairwell.
Needless to say we won't be visiting again."

"Peaceful Vacation Getaway
We stayed in unit 310 at the Inn at Dauphin Island. The condo was very clean and well equipped. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, full kitchen, washer and dryer.. all the eminities. The staff were very friendly. The overall place was clean, nice pools and a short walk to the beach. I highly recommend staying here!"

Only issue was dirty dishes in sink and countertop/bar had crumbs on it when we arrived. No big deal but this was out of ordinary as ever other time we have stayed at the Inn the condos were so clean. Also, a lot of smoking at the pool and on balconies which made being on our balcony and time at the pool unpleasant."

"Small-town beach
This was my 1st time staying in dauphin island! I took my mom (she's 56)...her sister and my son (he's 6). We all loved it and WILL return. We've stayed in gulf shores before but this condo was a perfect spot for us. We live in a very small town in Tennessee so we liked the small-town vibe!!! We prefer laid-back beach over the hustle and bustle of more "touristy" beaches lol
ONE major hazard : the threshold between the balcony and living room. EVERYONE but me actually fell over the sliding door track. It's raised about 2 inches from the floor. Maybe this is a design flaw of the whole building and not just this specific condo. My child fell going out to the balcony & got pretty scratched up. My mom tripped over it coming in from the balcony and fell all the way down on the tile floor which is alarming for her condition. Be ALERT for this issue.
We actually put 2 of the rugs on top of the track when we were in the condo to prevent such a harsh obstacle.
Other than that, I know We would DEFINITELY rent this place again. The view from the 3rd floor is amazing. Hope to visit again next year ��"

"Vacay 2021
We enjoyed our vacation. Dauphin Island is a nice, secluded area like we enjoy. Our condo was right on the beach. The condo we stayed in was clean but the furniture, cabinets and rugs were dated and need some attention.
Also, we like to eat out a lot on vacation and it was somewhat difficult finding a restaurant to eat at as the restaurants there have odd days/hours. Many nights, we drove 30 minutes to another town for dinner but that wasn’t a big deal for as as we are used to doing that at home."

Very peaceful pleasant stay. The room 310 could have been cleaner. Cabinets were dirty. Floor was full of long black hair. Shower and bathtub fixtures had mold on undersides. The refrigerator needs replacing. Food would get frozen in refrigerator part. Large grease stain in front of outside door. Palmetto bug came out from under refrigerator also. Not happy with that!"

Let me start by saying, this was the cleanest condo I have ever stayed in!! Decorated very nice, super comfy bed, amazing pools... it really was paradise!! Unfortunately, we stayed when Hurricane Gordon decided to hit. We got a couple of good days on the beach and then decided to head out. The condo manager very graciously refunded us for the rest of our stay and I’m already planning to come back next year! LOVE Dauphin Island and THE INN!!!! "

The Inn at Dauphin Island is our go to spot for vacation. This unit (310) specifically does not need anything! It’s perfect. Super comfortable and well maintained with an amazing view of the gulf. We really enjoyed our stay in this unit for many reasons but most of all, because of the view and comfort. I would highly recommend The Inn and unit 310 to anyone wanting to relax with the sounds of the beach and the two pools on property. Well done again! 13 years in a row and many more to come. "

We enjoyed our week on the island. The island is peaceful and removed from spring break craziness. I would recommend that all condos be equipped with a beach wagon as it is a ling haul with kids and everything they need. Otherwise the condo was great!"

"Friends Fall Getaway
What a fun time we spent in Dauphin Island with our best friends of almost 40 years. Finally we were able to get a time when the four of us retirees could spend a week doing whatever we decided to do. We enjoyed some surf fishing, a day trip to Biloxi, an evening in Mobile for dinner a the haunted Duck Tour, and just exploring the island. We fell in love with Skinners, Captain Snappers, and The Lighthouse Bakery. Our only disappointment was that we could not go to the west end of the island to watch the sunsets. We did, however, find a great view from the golf club to enjoy the sunset one evening."

"Daulphin Island Get Away
We loved our stay at Daulphin Island, The unit we were in was nice, clean, and very well maintained. We would sit out on our balcony and look out over the ocean. One morning we could see Dolphins jumping in the water, Crab hunting was a fantastic experience, I would recommend this place to stay. There were 11 of us and we had plenty of room."

We stayed at The inn room 310 this past week. We had booked a stay in Sanibel but were afraid to go with the algae in the water. I had heard about Dauphin island being just as peaceful & much closer to TN. We found this room available. Our stay was amazing. The room was super clean. We loved having a washer & dryer. We left with all clean clothes except what we had on (no work when we got home). The unit had all things we needed to cook. Beach was close. Pools were clean. Staff was super nice. Will go back. "

"Third Stay, Loving It!
Beach was clean, updated pool furniture and pools kept clean daily..and we were able to stay Saturday night, 7 nights!!! It was fantastic! The condo was great! Needs more pans and baking dishes and only has one small cutting board, please update kitchen! Patio furniture was great for 4 people! Needs another lounge chair in sitting room. Having a vacuum was wonderful, very helpful to remove sand over a week with 4 people! Fridge with working ice maker saved a lot of hassle from previous stays-fabulous!"

Our. Unit was very nice, clean and comfortable. The only thing we didn't like is the noice from the ac unit during the night. Our bed was on the same side of the wall. When the ac unit kicked on it would wake me from a sound sleep. Otherwise we loved our stay."

The room was clean and neat. The view was pleasant and the staff, at the front, was very helpful.
The canopy between the two pools needed replaced. The boardwalk from the condo pool area to the beach should be extended to approximately double the current length. The trek through the sand is excessive. The unit next door, The Beach Club, does not have a boardwalk and we would not rent a condo in that complex until a boardwalk is built. We have rented units in both The Inn and The Beach Club and a boardwalk is essential.
Overall our stay at 310 The Inn was acceptable."

"Birthday at Dauphin Island
We were given a vacation package to your condos by our son. We were making plans for our trip, when we came down with the flu. Your staff worked with us, so that our son would not lose his money and we could make the trip. We were able to reschedule our vacation which we enjoyed very much. It was very easy to make a reservation. We paid the balance of our unit over the phone on the way down since we were arriving after hours on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving Day. The unit was very roomy and clean. That evening was a bit cool and when we tried to turn on the heat to break the chill, the unit would not come on. We called the answering service early the next morning (Thanksgiving) and within 30 minutes, someone was there to fix a loose connection in the thermostat. The views from the balcony allowed us to see the sunrises and sunsets while we were there. From the front door, you can also see the Dauphin Island bridge. We definitely want to return to The Inn at Dauphin Island because this unit was perfect!"

This property was as described minus the note that at this time of year you can watch the sunrise AND sunset all from the balcony! The property, inside and out, was well maintained, clean, and full of amenities. The beach as a further walk from the pool than we'd imagined but beautiful. The island is quiet, calm, and the people are so friendly. You must visit the visitors center to speak with a local!"

Best friends for over 50 years, we grew up in Mobile and Dauphin Island was a natural part of that. We decided to take a couple of days and just look around the place that held so many memories!
