Although there is NO pool onsite, it’s just a short walk to the newly renovated Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon/Beach (rated Best Beach in the US by beach authority "Dr. Beach"). The Chart House and Red Lobster restaurants are both on the premises. Ala Moana Center and Beach Park (with public tennis courts) and Waikiki Beach Walk with its many shops and restaurants are close by.

This non-smoking accommodation sleeps 2. The Ilikai Marina is NOT affiliated with the Ilikai Hotel.

If you cancel more than 45 days prior to your scheduled arrival date (60 days prior to arrival for monthly rentals), the reservation downpayment will be returned, minus a $100 cancellation fee. For example, if a $300 downpayment was paid, you will receive $200 dollars back.

If you cancel within 45 days of arrival (60 days prior to arrival for monthly rentals), there will be no refund unless we are able to re-rent the property for some or all of the time you committed to and refunds may be less than the actual revenue paid. We apologize, but properties are hard to re-rent, as many people make bookings far in advance.

For reservations made within 45 days of arrival (60 days prior to arrival for monthly rentals), payment is due in full at time of booking in order to confirm the reservation, and the cancellation policy as stated above will apply. A cancellation becomes effective from the date that it is received in writing, fax or e-mail.

"llikai Marina nice location
The llikai condo is located close to the Hilton Hawaiian Hotel. It's on the west end of Waikiki away from the major shops and hotels which are located on Kalakua Ave. Lots of available pay parking with 7 floors of parking in the structure. The condo was very acceptable, clean bathrooms and kitchen. Very convenient having a full kitchen with full size refrigerator. Central air worked very well. From the 15th floor you have a nice view of the north side of Honolulu (mostly buildings). Very short walk to the shopping area on Waikiki (approx half mile) and also to the Ala Moana Mall(approx 3 blocks). "

"Great place to stay
This is a great condo, very clean, well appointed with everything you need. Wonderful location only about 10 minute walk to Ala Moana shopping center and easy walk to Waikiki beach. "Perfect Room
This is the second time we have stayed in the specific room. It is close enough to walk to most any spot in Waikiki. They have everything you need to cook and feel comfortable during the stay. Parking was a big one for me and it was super easy to get in and out and not worry about your rental car getting broken into. Love this place!"

"Work and vacation trip
The location and management were great. Maintenance of the room needs work. Toilet paper holder falls off the wall, The wood chairs need to be tightened. The Iron leaks water and the carpet looks 20 years old with stains."

"Great location, so-so view, mixed bag quality
Great location but some lack of maintenance. City and mountain view. Nice appliances. Cupboards and microwave are very high on wall - hard to reach. Carpet needs a deep cleaning or replacement. So do the throw pillows. Bed needs new sheets. Nice travertine flooring and shower and granite countertops. Lanai sliding glass door door is a bit hard to slide. Entry door lock can be disabled for easy in and out but remember to enable it when leaving. Tiny dining table and stools are a bit wobbly. Fridge and bathroom floor had not been cleaned thoroughly. Tub drain was clogged. But all in all it was okay."

"Sill Our Favourite
We have lost count of the number of visits to Oahu...and for us....the Illikai Marina is the best location and our suite suits ALL our needs perfectly. We vacationed with our son-in-law and daughter who stayed on the 8th floor with a marina view while we stay on the 15th floor with a city view. We all recommend the professional and courteous service that Captain Cook and Paul have exemplified. Over the many years we have and will continue to seek them out as our accommodation "specialists".

"Hidden gem

"The best free time

It was the best time to get up when you wanted to get up, when you want to sleep, sleeping when you want to go to bed, do not plan anymore! It is!

We had the best time, clean place, had everything for the beach, which we didn't use, location was great, easy to walk to beach and catch buses and rental cars.lots of places to eat and we saw fireworks, also from floor 2 you can walk to modern Honolulu hotel and walk to the walkway to beach, room was clean and the kitchen was perfect, if you want fresh tuna to enjoy, have to go China town, but food land in the ala Moana mall had everything ,pricey organic, but Waikiki is not cheap, manager was nice and check in was easy, thank you for making our trip memorable, traffic noise when you open the sliding doors, but I loved the breeze and for sure I had ear plugs, the bed looks likes it has some miles on it, 😀but we were tired of our swims and hikes, barely spent time, apart from sleeping and quick fix foods,don't look around, just book it."

"Great Value, Great Location, Great Vacation!
We could not have been happier with our stay at Ilikai Marina. The location was great - right next to the Hilton Hawaiian Village where our family members stayed and paid over $400/night. We were so happy to have a kitchen because we saved a lot of money eating in every so often. The unit was clean, quiet, and well-equipped with kitchen supplies, linens, towels/washcloths, etc. We were pleasantly surprised to find a beach umbrella in the closet! We unexpectedly rented a car and were able to park in the building's garage for $20/day. The Hilton charged $35/day! We would highly recommend this company and this unit, and would definitely use them again in the future. Mahalo for a great stay!"

"Best Location We Found So Far !!!!
After many, many Waikiki visits,for my wife and I....this was "perfect" !! We were just outside of the "very" busy areas and close to Ala Moana park with its quiet, relaxing beaches. The only "surprise" was that the building itself has no main entrance locked doors. A security guard during the day and lots of security front door security system. With that in mind...I would still stay at the Ilikai Marina 's just something to be mindful of. AND...Paul is an amazing representative for Captain Cook !!! Seriously...he answers his phone...fixes "EVERY" issue or concern.... and "no" ...I'm not his brother in law. His customer service really does make booking next years trip an easier choice !!! Thanks a million...Paul!!!"

"A good location
The cabinets and micro oven at kitchen are very high. It was difficult to rich and use the micro oven. The carpet of the unit was very dirty need to change. Bed cover looks old and tired. Need replacement. the bed sheets need replacement. The entrance door needs paint and the luck of the door not strong, need adjustment. The unit need more light. In the evening it was difficult to read. Otherwise I enjoyed location and restaurants near the Iliak Marina. "

"Very good location, clean and enough space to stay for two!
Very good location to go to Alamoana center and Waikiki. There're good restaurants around the condo. Near to ABC store and food pantry. One little thing that I hope you to improve is drain in the bath tub. It was a little clogged and took time to be sucked down.
Other than above, perfect for us to stay 5 nights and we had really enjoyed our stay."

"Clean, modern, great location
My husband and I stayed at the Ilikai Marina for 10 days for our 1 year anniversary and overall we enjoyed our stay. The property is very clean, and well kept. It is in walking distance to beaches, Ala Moana Shopping Center, and Waikiki. The room had everthing we needed including extra blankets, kitchenware and laundry detergent. The building is very secure and the security guards were always very alert, which was assuring. I also downloaded captain cook real estate's app before my arrival and found it to be very useful.

Some of the cons were that it was a bit noisy on fridays and saturdays nights since there is a club at the adjacent hotel. Also, we had to wait for an hour to be checked in even though I called the office upon my arrival at the airport as instructed, but the staff were very apologetic and friendly. "

"No what we expected.....
My wife and I wanted the "town" experience for our annual trip to Oahu. The location is fine if you want to be in the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. Management company was rude-when he arrived at the unit he was on the phone and remained on the phone for 10 minutes before greeting us. The room itself is a studio with full size appliances for cooking-decently stocked with utensils, etc. Parking is a pain and costly even when you pre-purchase. The balcony is tiny and there is a gap that a small child could squeeze through. The mattress was hard as a rock. The late night street noise was ridiculous even 15 floors up. The shower fluctuated between hot and cold with no consistency. There is no couch and no desk. No amenities in the building at all (i.e. no pool access, etc). Would not recommend it to anyone who wants the real Hawaii experience. After all, most of what you experience in Waikiki can be experienced in most major cities (minus the beach). "

"Nice and Cozy
It's a cute studio. We were very comfortable there. My suggestions to the owner: add more cooking utensils (spatulas, etc.), sugar packets for coffee, a new comforter, a few bottles of complimentary water would be nice. Overall, we enjoyed out stay."

"Great accommodations
The people from Captian Cook are awesome! I was here during the recent hurricane Iselle storm. The company sent out messages giving pointers on what you should have available to you when the hurricane hit. I was to check out that morning and they called to see if I was going to need to stay longer as the morning flights out of Honolulu were cancelled. They were very accommodating and told me just to call if I was unable to fly out that afternoon.
The room was great for my use. I was thre almost 2 weeks, the first half on business the second pleasure. The room is in a great location for all of the tourist attractions of Wakiki ( walking distance) and within 5 miles of the State and Federal building locations in Honolulu.
I would stay at this property again and have recommended it to family already. "

"Everything was great except for wet carpet
Everything about this property's appearance was more than what we can ask for. Modern decor, very usable kitchen with everything that we needed. There was a recurring problem with a wet carpet near the bed that wasn't able to get fixed during our stay however. It was connected to the usage of the A/C, and the property management wasn't able to fix it. We were given a huge fan to try and remedy the damp carpet, but it ended up being there for the entire stay. The wet carpet also left a musty smell in the room. The bed frame was a bit squeaky too, and the mattress probably needs to be switched soon.

However, despite that, our stay in the room was pleasant, and we would definitely rent from Captain Cook in the future. If you are considering this property, do check-in with the wet carpet problem. If it's fixed, I totally reccommend it."
