"Port A Beach House
We stay in many VRBO properties and this one was below par for what we paid. The parking was super tight. Their was a huge roach that greeted us once inside. The foldout coach was not usable, as the mattress was super thin and all you felt were bars in your back. There was no silverware and very little kitchen items. The back porch is directly on top of the neighbors with no privacy at all. The decor was not even welcoming. We were not impressed. The positive is that the beach is very close. Not walking distance but super quick drive. However... tar everywhere! And it was getting all over our feet. We would stay elsewhere next time due to high price and what we got for our money. "

"Great Place for a family of 4!
Clean and convenient and perfect for our family. Kids enjoyed we had access to pool. "
Jul 17, 2023 - Lara L., College Station, TX

"Great time but something’s were not working
Sink disposal did not work
Dishwasher backed up in sink
Downstairs tub will not work close to hold water
Trash had not been dumped. It was full
We also think you should tell people about the black tar on the beach
But we still had a great time but something’s need to be fixed"

"Buttercup Very Nice!
Very nice location and cottage. My husband did a lot of fishing so when we came to the cottage all we wanted was to rest and be comfortable. I would re-book this place again, however the master bedroom bed had a huge hump right down the middle of the bed. Not sure what was going on there. Owner might want to purchase a new mattress. Please let me know when you replace the mattress and I will book again! Overall we loved the place. Thanks you!"

"Wonderful Place!
We had such a great visit in Port A. The cottage was so cute! Very clean and very comfortable! We will definitely be back!! "
May 04, 2022 - Angela K., Leander, TX

"Quiet remote location
The stay was good. The location is where I wanted and away from the crowd. That was perfect. We were mostly comfortable during the stay. My only gripe is the kitchen cookware and tools. I’m a serious cook and it was difficult to safely prepare meals for my family. Pots and pans had scratches which is a safety issue and knives were dull which is dangerous. Would I come back? Yes, if they can update the kitchen accessories and tools. Again, I’m a serious cook and this might not mater to others."

"Perfect little getaway
Buttercup was the perfect little getaway for my family. It had a beautiful pool just a short walking distance away that my family was able to enjoy. The beach was a short drive away. If driving to the beach, don't forget your beach permit. We had a small issue with the lock/code to the home, but when we called for help, we had immediate (& friendly) assistance. This is definitely a home I'd love to rent again. Thank you for sharing this peaceful space with my family."

"Almost gave it 5 stars
We had a wonderful time at the Buttercup Cottage. It was clean, cozy, and the beds were confortable. There isn't really that great of a view of the Gulf but that was not a problem for us. Be aware there is no direct boardwalk access to the beach but the drive is less than a mile away. Actually everything would have been perfect except for two things. On our 2nd day there, a lady came by and introduced herself as the "filter fairy" and asked if she could get into the attic to change air filters. Not only did she interrupt our breakfast but it suspiciously seemed as if we were being checked on. Wouldn't that have been taken care of when housekeeping comes, in between guests? The check in and check out process was electronic, that was wonderful except it would have been better had we known ahead of time. Instead we had to make a trip to the office to pick up "keys" at which point we were told we didn't need to stop by the office but rather wait for email with door code. This after talking to them to make sure they were open on Sunday. Knowing all this, would definitely return."

"I would rent out again
Loved the house. Perfect for a small group to get away. Loved that we were on the outskirts of town where it was nice & quiet. House was clean, ac blew nice & cold. No WiFi but not an issue cause we were there to relax. Had plenty of extra towels, sheets, pillows. The only two issues I had, had nothing to do with the rental property. The first one was that the owner of the house across the street came & tried addressing the trash situation with me & wanted the owners info (which I did not have) saying he didn’t like the way the trash cans were left out all the time but it’s the rule of the house to put them at the end when you leave. I felt like was in trouble or did something wrong & we had only been there for a day. And 2nd issue was I tried called the place we rented it from PortA Escapes during their open times to call & report the issue twice & they never answered or returned my call. Overall I recommend staying & would stay there again "

"Time at Buttercup
We were very pleased with our stay. We did appreciate the contactless check in and out especially right now! This was a very quiet area away from it all and the beach was not really every crowded. Thanks for a great time to just relax."
Jun 23, 2020 - , Georgetown, Texas

"Slept 4 comfortably only
The pull out couch was broken and did not open. That was a frustrating surprise late at night. King and queen beds were comfortable. There were 3 TV’s but each remote was a different setup. Two TVs took some effort to figure out. The directions left did not match the remotes. Easy walk to the beach (about 7-8 minute). The condo is on the gulf side (not the bay) so we had fun with boogie boards jumping the waves. Pool was refreshing. Bring mosquito repellant... in the evening mosquitos got us both nights since we didn’t have any repellent. The condo itself was nice. But very expensive after all the fees and it’s not perfect. "

"nice stay
This was a cute rental house and clean. I didn't care to much for the distance but it worked out."
Jun 16, 2020 - , San Antonio, TX

"Sept 2019 Birthday Vaca
Very good. Great location, would have been fantastic if it had a broad walk to the beach. House met our expectations. We did notice when the upstairs shower is used, there is water that drips on the bottom story, above the stove."

"Buttercup
Excellent house perfect for my family. "
Jul 09, 2019 - Kristi B., San Angelo , TX

"Amazing
The house itself was gorgeous, well kept up and clean. We will definitely be renting out again. The only thing is the walkway to the beach was not as close as I thought, and the Mayan Princess boardwalk was closed. Other then that it was an amazing property and I Loved it for my entire family! "
Jun 10, 2019 - , San Antonio, TX

"Great place to stay
Everything very clean, well stocked, and everything in great working order."
Jun 08, 2019 - Bill C., HOBBS, NM

"Whooper Trip
The house was clean and as advertised. One drawback is there is no direct foot beach access, you have to walk two or so blocks and use a “residents only” walkway to the beach or drive to one of the beach access roads. "
Feb 25, 2019 - Robert S., Houston, TX

"Beach house rental experience
It was a nice place to spend a week at! We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to go and spend time at. "
Nov 04, 2018 - Robin R., Curtis, NE

"September getaway
Very nice. Interior of the house was nice and very comfortable. Beds were great and bathrooms nice and good size. Exterior yard was too rough. Grass stickers were bad and standing water in the yard."
Oct 06, 2018 - , boerne, tx

"Review of cottage
Property advertising is misleading by saying 2 minutes to beach but doesn’t have beach access you have to buy beach parking permit and drive to beach access road. "
Aug 14, 2018 - , NA, Reserved

"very sweet place
the house is very nice, well decorated, comfortable. It is easy to get to the beach. I was surprised that the pool was so small, due to the playa pics, which I confused with the pool, apparently. the mosquitoes at night were terrible coming off the playa. I was also surprised that there is no walking access to the beach, considering how close the house is to the beach. the drive is still close and easy enough, but it doesn't allow for just walking early in the morning or after dark. "
Aug 09, 2018 - Cassie P., Lubbock, TX

"Nice place but far from beach
It's a nice house. There are nice views from the balcony. Even though the beach can be seen there is no direct access to it. You have to drive about a mile to reach it. Also the beach itself has tar floating so your feet and clothes are bound to get dirty. We panicked when the very nice bathtub got tar stains. We ended up buying w2 solution and cleaning. Just a heads up.
Also the pots and pans are very worn. Maybe it's time to update the utensils."
Aug 09, 2018 - , Houston, TX

"Great Memorial Day
Great experience rental was exactly as it is described! Only thing I would say is we had to bypass the rental and drive into town to get a key pad code. Maybe that can be done over the phone or via email? But that’s the only issue and it’s a very small one. "
Jun 13, 2018 - Jeffrey S., New Braunfels, TX

"Great Place!
Buttercup was a perfect weekend get away. The place was very clean. The only thing I would suggest is perhaps having salt/pepper and sugar and sweetner.
We will rent again in the future. "
Apr 24, 2018 - Donna W., Schertz, TX

"Disappointing Stay
We stayed for 3 days May 26 to May 29, and while we were looking forward to weekend getaway we were disappointed with this rental. 1. The stairs and upstairs bedrooms are carpeted; it's dirty and smells. 2. Generally the interior is not well maintained (dated / not clean) including furniture that is oversized for the small area. Last and most concerning is the location ... specifically the hous next door is also a short term rental and much larger, when we stayed the people renting were drinking and generally acting belligerent (loud music / yelling) to 3 in the morning; this pretty much ruined our ability to get rest /sleep. Called our vacation rental and were told nothing they could do - asked us to handle on our own by calling police. Would not stay here again."
May 31, 2017 - Ric P., Boerne, Texas

"More then I expected!
This place was beautiful and perfect for my family of 5. It's a quit little community great pool for the kids. More of all I enjoyed the sound o the ocean over the dunes. My husband enjoyed the view from the top patio. I will never stay anywhere else. "
May 24, 2017 - Alona M., Lago Vista, NA

"Home away from home
No Wifi ,pool & hot tub could have been cleaned each day."

"Port A vacation
We loved the house and it wasnt very far from Port A's little town. "

"Port Aransas weekend get away
Located near the beach but no beach access. Had to drive a mile down the road. Was in a quiet location. Located about 15 min from town. Great for a peaceful get away. "
Apr 18, 2017 - Melissa D., XXXXX, NA

"Charming, My little Buttercup.
This house was perfect for 3 to 4 adults. We loved to open the windows and relax with the sound of the ocean. Just wish all windows and back door had screens. No bugs, but the occasional fly or bee.
We loved having coffee on the back porch as well.
Son(15) was so happy to have dish on the TV, nice surprise. No WIFI though
We did learn really quick that the grass had stickers, we drug some in on the bottom of our shoes...ouch.
Carpet on the stairs had a stain, but other than that house was really clean.
Some hangers would be great, even just some cheap plastic. There was none.
We enjoyed the beach. Loved the fact we could drive to a nice spot, park right there on the sand and enjoy the ocean.
We ate at Moby Dicks-it was just okay. Waiter had a difficult table and we were patient to make it easier on him, but my drink was watered down by the time I got it and my patience was about gone by the end of the meal when it just never got better.
On the way out of town we had Virginia's on the Bay....amazing fish and service, plus we could watch the water.
Gift shops in town had much to be desired for customer service. They were more worried about projects than greeting people or even checking in on us while we shopped. Felt like a irritation or completely ignored. A warm greeting or just a Hello goes a long way in my book.
I would go back to this house, or recommend it to friends."

"Lovely place
Wonderful little house a short distance from the beach. We had a wonderful time for our first visit to Port A. The house was very comfortable and the family loved it. "

"Girls trip!
Was the perfect place for our girls weekend! Will definitely be going coming back next year!! "
Oct 12, 2016 - , Fredericksburg, TX

"Great stay at Buttercup cottage
Our family of three had a wonderful getaway at buttercup cottage! It was perfect size, clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch and balcony, listening to ocean waves. It would be nice to have comfortable chairs out there. Also, the (very close) neighbors were really loud on their balcony late at night.
Loved the location outside of town. Very quiet and peaceful.
Overall a pleasant stay and we would come back here. Thank you!"
Aug 23, 2016 - Clair G., Round Rock, TX

"Family getaway
We had a wonderful time on Mustang Island and the Buttercup Cottage was the perfect getaway for my husband and I, our little one, and my parents. The house was cozy, clean, and in a great location. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub within walking location, and spent each morning and evening on the back deck. Checking in and out was easy as well. Thanks for a great vacation!"
Aug 15, 2016 - , Tyler, TX

"Will be staying here again
This was a great find for my friends and I. I will definitely stay here again next year on our annual trip. The only thing the place was missing was a broom to sweep up the sand we brought in."
Jun 15, 2016 - Alfred D., houston, TX

"Great stay
The house was very clean, super cute and cozy! They provided pretty much everything you would need besides toiletries. We still had to drive to the beach because we had too much stuff to walk out there but it was like a 3 min drive so not bad at all."
Jun 13, 2016 - Sebastian M.

"Buttercup Cottage
The home was cute and just the right size for the three of us. The neighborhood was quiet, even during spring break. Very peaceful! The pool was nearby and beautiful."
Apr 02, 2016 - Cynthia V., New Braunfels, Texas

"Winter TX Report
It was a good stay! We are planning on repeating the stay next winter.
Comfortable home was in a quiet location.

Areas of improvement in the kitchen include a larger skillet with lid, a glass measuring cup for liquids, & a small whisk. It would be great to have a soft chair in the master bedroom.

Quick response for request to repair locks & vacuum cleaner. Home was clean with the exception of the shower door area in master bedroom.

We enjoyed deep sea fishing, fishing off the jettys, JELM activities, Avery's Kitchen, Inferno, Snoopy's, & Doc's restaurants.

Home was nicely decorated with an open "shotgun" floor plan. We look forward to returning!"
Feb 26, 2016 - , Raymore, MO

"Perfect house!
It was awesome! Clean and perfect for our family. Pool was nice also! I recommend this for a small family. I will definitely use this house again next time we visit port A. "
Aug 28, 2015 - , Arlington, Texas

"Meh...
Okay if your in a pinch and can't find anything better. No beach access. 8 miles from Port Aransas so a 10 minute drive to anything. Heavy construction next door woke us at 6 am every morning. Rude contractors blocking access to the property at all hours of the day. Roaches in the upstairs bathroom. No WiFi, only basic cable channels. For what I paid for the rental I expected a little more."
Aug 25, 2015 - Steven R.

"6BV My Little Buttercup
This was a nice property to stay in if you enjoy being in a quiet area. Positives include clean property, good beds, and fun pool for small kids. Be aware that "beach access" means you drive to the public entry point. There was also a mildew smell upstairs, which was surprising since it is 'newer' construction. "
Aug 23, 2015 -

"Beach July 2015
Had a great time!"
Jul 28, 2015 - , fredericksburg, TX

"Buttercup cottage
This was a very nice cottage and well maintained. A tropical storm had blown through a few days earlier, so the back area was still muddy...hardly anyones fault. The bar-b-que pit was bery poor. The type you would see at a public park or rest stop. TV in main bedroom was not working proper, but we weren't there to watch TV. Well supplied kitchen. Easy access to beach. A house next door was under construction, so there was a little noise. All in all, a good place in a good location. "
Jul 10, 2015 - Craig W., Boerne, TX

"Average at best
the cottage itself was nice but the property need taking care of better. My children and I got stickers going to the pool everyday. They mowed some of the property one day and left the clippings of grass and stickers everywhere including the sidewalks and streets. Their was construction going on next door which they told me before booking but they were cussing and that's not appropriate especially in front of my 7 and 3 year old. There is no beach access so you have to load up and take a short 5 min drive to get to the beach. In all this could be a nice stay if the property was better taking care of and no construction and if beach access and ocean view is not a priority."
Jun 26, 2015 - , Midlothian, TX

"Overall Good but some opportunities for improvement
The bad: #1. No wifi at available at all. This is crazy. Every place nowadays should have a strong, consistent wifi signal, period. #2. construction next door- the constant noise all day long from the machines was annoying and unsightly due to scraps and trash laying around from the workers. The workers also blared their music loudly in the morning despite my telling them to turn it down. This really affected our experience.

The good: The rental company could not have been nicer. They genuinely seem eager to help you and are quick to respond if you need anything. They were a pleasure to work with. The house was very clean and comfortable. Overall I think the rate was reasonable, but there is no beach access from this property. You have to drive about a mile and enter that way, after getting a permit ($12) which was easy to buy. We were under the impression we could easily walk to the beach from this house, but that's not the case. There is no view. But you get what you pay for I guess."
Mar 22, 2015 - , Austin, TX

"What a great escape
This is a great little cottage. Secluded, near to the beach, out of the way and quiet. It is clean and modern, just the right size. We had a great relaxing time there. Thank you so much."
Oct 21, 2014 - Susan S., SA, TX

"nice place to stay. it's not walking distance to the beach
Bring pest spray for roaches spiders and ants. We left some subway sandwhiches in the microwave and they were covered in ants within a few hours, other than the small bug visitors it was a nice place to stay and in a great location "
Aug 22, 2014 -

"Buttercup is nice.
We really enjoyed staying at the butter cup cottage. The only thing is that the rugs were covered in stickers and the master bed way too high."
Apr 29, 2014 - Elizabeth L., San Antonio, TX

"Beautiful home, quiet location. very tranquil and relaxing.
The home is very comfortable. The location is somewhat secluded and very peaceful. I would wholeheartedly reccomend this property to anyone wanting a extra special vacation experience."
Apr 24, 2014 - David C.

"Great Weekend Escape
We had a great stay. The only bad things I can say was that the hot tub didnt work and it was a little far from town but that was actually a good thing with our stay being on a super busy weekend. "
Apr 15, 2014 - Grace B.

"Buttercup Cottage
It was truly AWESOME. Property was super clean and quiet all around. Pool and hot tub were kind of cold but it was still march. Town folks and locals are friendly and helpful. Staff at the lodging facility are super nice and extremely professional, they were a true blast to deal with and made the booking, check in and out process so easy. These folks are GREAT !! Thank you all for your help, patience and cooperation we will definitely be back again soon. "
Apr 12, 2014 - Kimberly S., Blanchard, OK

"Buttercup Cottage was definitely golden!
A wonderful experience and amazing value: We highly recommend! Spacious downstairs and cozy upstairs with a view of the Gulf peeking through sand dunes on two sides. Located within easy driving distance of the beach and equidistant from causeway and ferry. Very helpful staff at Port A Getaways. Only glitch due to date of rental: It was January and the heating system could make the upstairs pretty hot when we tried to heat the cool downstairs. Otherwise a near-perfect experience!

"Cute and secluded
We had a couple good size spiders show up, but other than that enjoyed our stay. A short drive to a clean beach area. Pool and hot tub are nice as well. "

"Buttercup is a HIT
Had a great time at Buttercup Home. Had all the amenities necessary. Clean and neat. We will return. It also has a beach access within a mile from the house..."

"AWESOME vacation
We LOVED the property and will recommend it to anyone. We will stay again if its available. Our only complaint would be the was so windy and hard to keep it lit and it was small. The house was perfect for us and super clean. The pool was great and we were the only ones using it. Can't wait to go back. "

"Not a lot of convenience
Very clean home. However, I had anticipated it having easier access to the beach.

We were there for only 3 nights out of a week long vacation and had travelled by air so we did not pack things like beach towels, or laundry soap. We had hoped to have done some laundry while we were there, but didn't want to go buy supplies for such a short stay. There was no kettle or coffee filters, so making tea and coffee was difficult. Main reasons we chose a home to rent instead of a room was for some of those conveniences. Coffee filters would have been easy to bring if we new there was not a coffee maker with a washable filter. Beach towels would have been nice.

The hot tub did not work the entire time we were there and we called property management company, it was never fixed. I mentioned this when we dropped off the keys and they said they would call the management company again. The pool does not have any chairs, so again, we thought we would make use of the facilities and there were no facilities to use.

Would be a good spot if you are travelling by car and can pack everything you need for a week. We rented it for convenience, and didn't receive much."

"Good Experience overall
Good experience aside from the hot tub in the pool location not working as well as the wireless situation. I understand the purpose of a vacation is to relax but wireless unfort. is a life necessary especially for a college student who still needs to communicate with instructors. I've stayed at a few rental location with Port Aransas Escapes and both locations the wireless was a struggle to locate. "

"Great small family vacation rental
Management was super friendly and very helpful. The home was nice and clean. Was disappointed all landscape lighting lake and pool water features and hot tub were non functional. "

"Very nice property, definitely recommended
We enjoyed the Buttercup Cottage a great deal, highly recommended for a family getaway. The checkin/checkout process was great (but don't show up too early!) and the staff very nice. The property itself was awesome -- very clean, updated decor, amazingly pleasant for a beach property given the harsh environmental conditions. The pool was very nice, hot tub not so great but June in Texas, who needs it? The location was great, no walking to the beach but the drive is less than a mile -- driving on the beach is permitted with a $12 annual permit. Great TV's, dish network fantastic (NHL draft was awesome!), appliances, washer/dryer -- IMO you just can't beat it. We look forward to our next visit!"

"Picture Perfect!
This was the picture perfect beach house! We loved everything about it, the only thing I can think of to make it any better would have been if it were right on the beach! We could see the ocean from the upstairs balcony, it was only a glimps but it was still the ocean. We would sit out on the deck at night after we put our daughter to bed and have some drinks and just enjoy the sound of the ocean and the ocean breeze! The house was very clean and had linens, bath towels and everything to cook w but a cookie sheet which we pruchased and left behind. The pool area was great and we had it all to ourselves the whole time we were there. The pool is salt water and the hot tub was heated but not a lot hotter than the pool which we liked because it was hot enough there! The beach road was less than a mile down from the house and was a great location if you don't want to be right in town, which we didn't. It was only about a 10 min drive to town so it didn't bother us at all! It had flat screen tv's in all the rooms w dish tv and dvd players. They had some hangers but not a lot so if you plan on hanging up your shirts you might take some and the grill was one like they have at a camp ground so if you have a protable grill you might want to bring it with you. We had a great time here, it was our daughter's first time to the beach and she turned two while we were there. We will definately be back and hope to rent the same house! We loved everything about it and left our foot prints in the sand..."

"Buttercup Cottage
The home was great, the only problem we had was with the lock on the front door. Somehow even when you unlock it, it is sometimes locked when you try to go back in - make sure you have a key or they will charge you to let you in if it's after hours!"

"Perfect!
Our family planned a 3 day getaway and this property was perfect. Clean, new, all amenities and more, with space to spread out and relax. Back balcony is perfect at sunrise and sunset, with only the sounds of the wind and water. Will stay here again! "

"August stay at the Buttercup Cottage
Great place to stay. House looked new and has everything you need. Some of the house decor was a little odd, but furniture was nice. Found some annoying stickers in the rugs. Very nice hot tub. I will be telling people about this great place and will be coming back to the buttercup cottage again."

"Buttercup Cottage 6BV in Port Aransas
The house was great, my faimly had a fun time at the pool and on the beach. The beach access road was less than a mile from the house which was nice. The BBQ grill was small though. Only big enough to cook a few burgers. I had to run in to town and buy a webber grill for our ribs we wanted to cook."

"Very Cute
The property is very cute and the layout is very nice. It took a bit to understand the beach access and I had hoped there was Wi-Fi. There were... bug pieces (?) under the master bed pillows but I saw no other signs of any infestation. The recycle trash did not empty on Friday, and there is a list of expected check out requirements. The pool fountain was not on and there were terrible stickers around the pool area. Overall very nice but pricey."

"Port A stay at Buttercup Cottage
Overall all the stay was ok, we have a 3 month old so we were looking to get away in a quiet location and this seemed perfect. The Management company was awesome, very professional, only down side was that there seemed to be alot of rules, no trash left behind, use certain towels to wash your face, turn the AC up to 80, which doesn't seem like a problem but when you have a 3 month old and you are trying to get out of the house to leave, it takes forever. The house overall was was very clean, had a few problems, the doors are rusted out so they are very hard to shut and lock. There were a few roaches but they were dead, and the mosquitoes were horrible off the front porch at night. The "view" of the ocean from the balcony was non existent unless you looked really hard off in a corner, but you could hear the ocean at night. I was disappointed that we couldn't see the ocean, since that was the reason we were there. Off the back porch the grass is so overgrown next door and there is an old tennis court that is all grown over so not a very pretty view when grilling. We tried to go swimming but the pool and hot tub were both freezing and at night nothing was lit up, the waterfall wasn't working, and there really isn't much shade area to hang out at the pool. I don't see how all the houses in Bella Vista share that little bitty pool during the summer because it is very tiny. I think if you have a small family and are looking to get away for a bit this is perfect, if you dont mind driving to the beach and not having an ocean view."

"Unhappy Experience
We were not pleased with our stay and would have loved to spent $530 elsewhere. The jacuzzi was not working and the weekend we were there was cold. The maintenance log on the jacuzzi showed it had not been working since May 2012. The upstairs bedrooms did not have working cable and it would have been nice since we have a baby to have television in the rooms while being up at night. Had we known about the jacuzzi we would have gladly gone elsewhere since it was advertised as working."

"Clean house with a misleading description
This was a very clean, well maintained house. Also, the management company allowed us to check in early which really helped. 4pm is pretty late for checkin.
There are only 3 other houses in the subdivision, so we had the pool all to ourselves. The pool was very nice, but the hot tub did not heat and the waterfalls shown in the picture were not turned on. With that said, I really was looking forward to watching the sunrise while drinking coffee from the "gulf-view" balcony. Describing this house with a "Gulf-view" is a real stretch. You can barely see a glimpse of the water between 2 dunes. Also, it is about 10 miles out of Port A. Had I known the view was almost nonexistent, I would have stayed "in town" and saved $100/night. Plenty of places with no view for $200-250/night."

"Buttercup cottage
The house was incredibly clean - which was very nice. It has comfortable beds & nice linens. There were no kitchen scrubbers or sponges. The picture of the pool makes it look really big and it is not. There is no beach access, but the drive to the beach was easy. We had a great time on our getaway."
