Nemo Cay Resort D134 is part of the most exciting vacation rental development to ever hit North Padre Island. The complex is in a secluded yet centrally located position on North Padre Island adjacent to the all-new Schlitterbahn Beach Country Resort. Nemo Cay Resort is the dream location for families looking to come down to enjoy the all new water park as well as the many other area attractions, including beautiful beaches, great fishing, golf, surfing and so much more. Wait until you see this pool! It includes a shallow water pool for the kiddos, pool toys, and tropical landscaping is found throughout the entire complex. Coming down in the winter? Then you'll really enjoy the heated pool as well!

INTERIOR
You can easily sleep 8 in this first floor unit and you'll really enjoy the beautiful decorated interiors which will include comfortable furniture, granite counters, and hardwood flooring. Walking into the first floor you'll find a full size bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, and an open and spacious dining and living area. There's also access to your private patio space. Upstairs you'll find the two bedrooms, each with their own private bathrooms. One bedroom comes with a queen size bed and the second comes with two queen size beds. There is a queen size sleeper sofa for two additional quests to sleep on and there is also a second floor laundry room.

Linens for every bed and bath towels for every guest are provided. A two night minimum stay is required. Contracting guests of Padre Escapes must be 25 years of age or older. The guest must have a State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID. No Pets Allowed.

CANCELLATION POLICY: We require 25% down at the time the reservation is made. Reservations cancelled 14 days or more prior to arrival will receive a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee and tax. Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to check-in will result in full forfeiture of payments made. Applicable refunds will only be issued to the guest by the same form in which it was made, even if a credit card has since expired or canceled. The above applies to moving dates or switching units as well. We recommend that the guest purchase CSA Travel Protection. There are no refunds for early departures or late arrivals. If a guest does not show up for their stay the total amount paid is non-refundable.

"TERRIBLE
The unit was dirty, the furniture broken, and the place smelled like cigarette smoke. Our clothes had to be washed because the drawers we kept them in smelled of smoke. The unit was also roach infested and most of the refrigerator shelves were broken. There were so many people in the swimming pool, it made it unpleasant to use (the pool wasn't large enough for the number of people there). I wouldn't rent this place again for myself and my guests. I was embarrassed to stay there. I complained to the host and nothing was done. They talked about sending someone to clean, but that place needed a lot more than a maid to satisfy what it lacked."

"Stolen parking, pack your kitchen, & bring your febreeze
was very disappointed in our rental. To start when we arrived on Friday we discovered that our second parking spot had been taken. We immediately called the property managers to report the issue. We were told a towing notice would be placed on the vehicle, which didn’t happen until I followed up the next day since the vehicle had not moved. Saturday, I call to ask them to tow the vehicle and they said they do not manage the parking only the property. I told them the property I rented came with accommodations and that included 2 parking spots. They refused to tow the vehicle since they had to give a 24-hour notice to the person in our spot and since they didn’t do it on Friday when I initially reported the incident they vehicle would not be towed until Sunday – they day we were scheduled to check out. They said that people at the resort are on vacation and they do not want to inconvenience them by towing them. I told them they were inconveniencing me and since I was the one who paid for the rental, which includes the parking that I should be the customer they worry about inconveniencing, not the one who stole my parking. At that point I asked them to issue a credit since we did not receive all the accommodations we paid for. They refused and said the owner gets all the rental funds and they cannot issue any type of refund/credit. So, I pay for a rental which includes 2 parking spots, but only get one, the owner gets paid in full, the non-rental guest uses my parking spot for free and I get inconvenience. Seems everyone is winning in this situation except me. That vehicle did not leave my designated parking until late Saturday (approx. 5pm).
The other issue I had was the kitchen was minimally stocked. There were about 5 forks, no can opener, the pans they had burnt the food at the bottom and I had to soak off the burnt food. Pack your kitchen if you plan on cooking.
The next major issue I had was the smell of the unit. It stunk. It smell"

"Nice place. Great location. Good property amenities.
Our stay was very nice. The location of our rental was by the playground and pool/splash pad. This was great because our kids took full advantage of the amenities. They have bbq pits spread out all over which makes it very convenient. If I had to comment on one thing that was not the best, it would be the smell in our rental. We simply purchased a few air fresheners and sprayed them as needed. Overall, I would recommend this rental. It was perfect for our group of 7. The beach was a short drive away as well as convenient stores and restaurants. Great general location. The check in was very easy and the management company was easy to deal with. We had a great time! "

"Disappointed with parking and prop. Management
The Condo was nice and clean. Check in and out was super easy. Grounds were fine, pool area was nice. My only complaint would be that they have massive parking issues. They say you have 2 numbered parking spots for your rental time. The fact is you don't. When you call the office during work hours they say they can't do anything. Then when you call after hours bc someone is STILL in YOUR spot and you had to walk with your 3 young children from the very dark street area all the way back to your condo, you tell the property management person all this and they tell you again, 'sorry, this is a big problem we have'. So even though they have towing will be enforced signs in the parking lot, the security guy says those are just there to try to scare people. He said the signs don't deter people. I called the towing company and they said they had strict orders from the property management, they are NOT allowed to tow a car unless the property management call them directly. So if you are lucky you may have one spot IF you don't ever move your car."

"City Dump
We were lead to believe that this was the Taj Mahal-. very misleading.- we were a 5 1/2 month stay. The condo was dirty, I cleaned years of grease and grime off light fixtures, cupboards, moldings.- complained and we did get the cleaning fee refunded; the living room furniture was dirty, uncomfortable and antiquated; No chair to sit on, had to buy our own. The dining room table and chairs, old, dirty, and one broken chair, that maintenance told us should not be left in the condo, but it was. Smelly restaurant dumpster out the back and messy, smelly dumpster opposite the front door. No kitchen things until we complained- then so cheaply bought the knives bent with buttering. (bought our own). no hair dryers, no fire extinguisher until 5 months had passed. Not enough blankets for the beds. No DVD, no ironing board or iron. NO toaster, blender,coffee pot when arrived , but did finally get. Doors were drafty. So much sand/dirt in windows, they were hard to open and close. Water stains on ceiling still there from a previous leak and not painted; Told no carpet- ha-bought a vacuum to clean the carpeted stairs.
Owner was in, aware of problems, talked good, might someday buy new, but only plastic outdoor chairs were purchased. Would not sit out back, too smelly from many cigarette butts on the ground and the dumpster.
Told no for 2 months, then owner got us the use of the closet under the stairs.

Maintenance people were excellent-saw a lot of them. However,they could only do what management allowed them to do-
Would Not recommend condo,nor the complex to our worst enemy. "
