"A Great Place to Stay
We loved our stay here and to be honest we were really confused about some of the other reviews. We realize we were on vacation and supplies should be limited but we had all we needed. Based on other reviews we expected to find the place space and very non-equiped and that was so far from true.
We had to leave early because of a death in the family and we only wish people would be more fair in reviews. We find Hilton Head a great place to rest and totally stress free. This location and atmosphere just fits the bill as well.

Over all sufficient with some issues. Property is past due for upgrades. Bedrooms are poorly lit. Old brown carpet just looks dirty. Grout in tile kitchen countertop was dirty/moldy. Freezer had strong odor of old fish. Management responded quickly when I had an issue with door lock."

"124 Windward Village Stay Review
A few things to note for future rentals of this property: dryer control not working well and the dryer could take up to approx. 1-2 hours to dry; lint residue (purple) left on towels and clothes after the purple hand towels and wash clothes were washed,maybe they were brand new and this was first wash; operation directions for the tv sets were complicated in the bedrooms so we didn't use them...missed them at night; light over washer and dryer didn't work; no kleenx in restrooms - not tragic but is good to have. Positives: condo was very clean; screened in porch was really great; location of condo was one of the prettiest we've seen, been coming to HHI a number of years; parking was great; pool and whirlpool were great and well maintained; property management people and process was very good and helpful. See you next year."

"Comfortable and Adequate
I booked this place for my two daughters and their partners. The space was nice, but cleanliness was a bit of an issue. One had to wash the comforter because of a gross stain on it, and there was some dust on items that made it obvious it had been overlooked for quite some time. Other than that, the end unit was nice, and the hot tub was great. Would stay here again."

Easy access to the hot tub and pool. Screened in porch was nice, too bad it was too chilly for us to enjoy it much. Host was responsive to any questions we had. Enjoyed our week there!"

"Great Property and Great Location
This townhouse is in the Shipyard Plantation. The property was in the perfect location. A short bike ride or car ride away from beach, restaurants and stores. There are many bike trails within Shipyard and the island is very bike friendly, with many miles of bike trails. We arranged to have our bikes delivered on day of arrival and bikes were waiting on bike rack right across from the unit. For golfers, easy access to Shipyard golf courses. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need. We loved drinking coffee and having evening cocktails on the screened in porch. The grounds are very beautiful and peaceful in this community. Beautiful pool just steps from the property. There were many times we had the pool to ourselves. Property was clean and well maintained. We truly enjoyed our time here and would stay here again!"

"Convenient, Clean, Comfortable
The unit met all our expectations. It was nicely furnished, very well equipped and very clean. The layout was a little unusual with the two bedrooms on the ground level and the living area on the second. Access is very close to the Shipyard Pope Ave gate, and it was convenient to all roads. The beds were comfortable. Overall a very nice place to stay."

"Weekend getaway
Rental was in a nice area and close to the beach. Upon entering the unit appeared to be clean however there was a musty smell like cigarettes. It helped to open the windows and I purchased some Lysol. In the 2nd bedroom there was some mold spots on the shower curtain and the aur vents were dusty. The unit did have a washer/dryer which was nice and the closeness to the beach was a plus. Overall it wasn’t a bad stay "

"Seashore Vacations Saves the Day
After spending two nights in another VERY unacceptable rental property within Shipyard, Seashore Vacations immediately moved us to 124 Windward Village once we informed them of the horrible condition of the other property. 124 Windward was clean, well appointed and although the internet was initially unusable, Will from the SV office came by to make sure we could access the internet. SV saved our week in many ways....THANK YOU!"

This is the second time we’ve stayed here in the last 6 months. We love the location and the screen porch is a plus. The unit definitely needs some updating. This time the floor downstairs and in the kitchen were very slick and the WiFi was not reliable. "

"Not What I expected !
Whoa! When entering the condo, there are 14 steps in front of you. The (2) bedrooms are on ground level and the steps go UP to the den area and kitchen. Did not care for floor plan, felt like I was sleeping in the basement. Condo needs renovation, all vanities in the bathrooms are original and very low to the floor. I was told by a resident that hot tub had been broken since Oct 2020, so it didn't work at all. The beds were comfortable. the kitchen was adequate. Not impressed with Shipyard, will not stay again. "

"Great location
The villa was clean and well maintained. We loved that the pool was a short walk from the front door. Kitchen was well supplied for cooking. Restaurants, Coligny Beach and activities all within 1-2 miles. (Location not walkable to beach. Must drive) The screened porch was delightful for sitting out at night or early morning. Our only challenge was 14 steps from bedrooms (1st floor) to living/dining/kitchen (2nd floor). I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone who is okay with the steps. Very peaceful location."

September 26 thru October 4, 2020
We have been coming to HHI off and on for the last 6 years and this 2 bedroom / 2 bath condo is our new favorite! Located perfectly near both the action and the beach. Easy walking distance to everything!
The screen porch was good for outside dinning, pool and hot tub were very close, and the porch swing off the master bedroom was a nice hideaway. Having 2 bedrooms with their own baths made it easy for 2 couples. Parking was in front of the condo, another plus.
Furnishings were nice, beds were comfy, kitchen was well equipped.
Overall we had a great week and hope to stay here again!"

"Beach Get-Away
This unit was exactly what we were looking for. It's just a few short blocks to the beach and very convenient to local restaurants and shopping. The only negative is that the flat panel TV's were a little dated, but not a huge deal if you are at the beach. :)"

Condo was very nice, loved the two porches, and the swimming pool was great! Only complaint is that the shower in one bedroom had lots of hair on the back wall of the shower. Someone cleaning did not do a very good job. It was a lot of hair and was pretty disgusting. Other than that, though, a great unit."

"HHI Last minute find
We found this little gem a week before our trip and was pleasantly surprised. It is in a great location, close to pool where we practically owed it. Internet was spotty at first but seemed to improve after resetting the router."

We rented 124 Windward Village through Seashore Vacations Inc. We were in Shipyard. Plantations where we have stayed many times. But this was our first experience withSeashore. They were very professional and kept us updated via email and phone calls with our rental dates April 20/19 to May 4/19.
The rental was fantastic the location beautiful. It was clean and had a terrific lay out. We will for sure rebook this rental property when we return to lovely Hilton Head."

We had a wonderful experience. The condominium was clean, beautifully decorated and in a wonderful location. We would rent again. A major plus for our group was the presence of two bedrooms with queen beds rather than twins in one room, in addition to a pull out couch in the living oarea. "

"Hilton Head Vacation
We enjoyed our 2-week stay at 124 Windward this past April. We have all positive comments about the furnishing and maintenance of the property, including the condition of the cookware and kitchen appliances. The folks at Seashore Vacations were a were a pleasure to work with attentive to any questions or concern we had. One recommendation we would make is to install higher seated toilets for us retired folks!"

"Very nice condo, and quite comfortable
We stayed here for four nights and were happy with the choice. The condo is very comfortable. It is a little dated, but we were very happy with the way it was equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, which is always a good surprise. We cooked in a couple of nights and had a good variety of pots and pans, as well as all of the silverware and utensils. Thanks for that! It would be nice to perhaps provide some tin foil or storage bags, but no big deal.
In terms of location, the condo is very quiet. It is tucked out of the way, but still easy to get into and out of the complex. There are several restaurants not far away.
The furniture was comfortable, and although we did not use the entertainment system, it looks like that was in good shape.
One note to future renters. Entry is on the bedroom floor which is quite a bit cooler than the living area upstairs. It worked well for us because we liked the heat when we were just sitting around on some cool days. And then at night, sleeping was comfortable temps downstairs. The bathrooms are small but just fine.
I would stay here again without any hesitation. Pick up for the keys on a Sunday worked exactly as described without any hassle (other than the St. Pat's parade in progress). "

"Great rental find on TA!
We were so pleased with this rental find on TA for our annual golf trip. From initial emails with vacation agency to check out, we had a great experience. And most important, the rental was clean, well maintained, and nicely furnished. It provided everything we needed for our trip. Restaurants and stores were close by and having the hot tub steps out the back door provided much needed relief after our daily golf rounds. I definitely recommend this rental and I will look for it next time we visit Hilton Head! "

"Wonderful Memorial Day Stay
We always love our stay's at 124 Windward. It's perfect for 2 couples since it has 2 master suites. The location to the pool is great, it's close to all the Hilton Head attractions. 124 Windward has a fully stocked kitchen and with the screen porch we enjoy many wonderful meals just relaxing the enjoying the breeze.
