Pavilions grocery store is just across Balboa Boulevard along with Chihuahua and Sancho’s - serving up tacos, burritos and more - and Gina’s, offering pizza and pasta for the whole family. Around the corner on Newport Boulevard, try Pescadou Bistro for neighborhood French cuisine in an intimate setting, casual Hook & Anchor’s award-winning lobster and seafood or Newport Fresh for sushi!

The recently renovated Lido Marina Village, with high-end waterfront restaurants and boutiques, is just beyond, along with Via Lido Drugs for prescriptions, cards and unique gifts. The vintage Lido Theatre built in 1938 offers movie-goers a one-of-a-kind experience with its art deco décor, black light accents and an old-fashioned balcony.

The Newport Pier area with shops and local eateries galore is minutes away by bicycle and a short stroll from the rental. Visit Seaside Donuts, Jane’s Corndogs and Dory Deli. Breakfast at Charlie’s Chili is a must for locals and out-of-towners alike. Fly ‘n’ Fish is not to be missed for terrific seafood, but if you want to prepare your own, visit the Dory Fleet Fish Market, which has been selling local fishermen’s daily catch since 1891. Browse souvenir shops on McFadden Square or rent boogie boards or surreys at the foot of the pier.

This location is ideal for families looking to make the most of their time at the beach!

"Way overpriced
this was the worst place we have ever stayed with Burt White. The home was dirty. It appeared clean but when you looked around the carpets were not
Vacuumed dust bunnies everywhere. The furniture was like patio furniture our family of 6 could not even sit down together on the couches. Miserably
Hot, and mold in shower. Cupboards stunk, patio was the o lot enjoyable area. "

"Memorial weekend
Booked late and BW was great and easy to work with. Simple check in and out and place was as represented in pics. Would definitely use BW again in future rentals. "

"Nice place with pissy carpet and funky LR furniture.
We love Newport. The location was perfect, the house was great except for pissy smelling carpet and a dirty bedspread and pillow shams. The living room furniture was old, dirty, uncomfortable and smelled like fabreze overload. We watched TV from the bedroom which was hard to do because the carpet smelled. That made me cough all night so we slept on the bunk beds. Haven't done that since I was 12."

"Terrific rental, terrific location
I think we may have hit the most beautiful weekend of the fall. Clear, hot days, beautiful sunsets, walked to the pier at midnight and it was shorts wearingly warm. "

"Fun Time at the Beach
The vacation rental was nice. It was close to the beach and had everything that we needed. Only a couple of comments. The main issue was the wifi was not working well at all. It would randomly kick you off and it wouldn't let the kids get on their social media sites. The button on the toaster would stay down so you had to hold it down to have toast. The final item was that the screen on the sliding glass door was a bit tweeked and kept falling off, but my husband was able to get it back in each time. However, overall the house was nice and we had a great time. "

" Two weeks at the beach!
Anytime we get a chance to hang out in Newport Beach, we do our best to do it. We love vacationing at this speech because the sand is wonderful the water is great and there is plenty to do in the Newport Beach area. "

"super location! with short walk to sand yet not too noisy
Enjoyed a midweek stay at the beach. This place works well for parking the car and then walking or biking to everywhere. Great coffee and breakfast down the way at Dory's. Steps to the sand and boardwalk. Short walk from there to the water's edge. Well kept homes all around. Very little traffic or partying noise. Comfortable beds, pillows, and linens. Dining al fresco worked in the mornings. Decent music stations available via TV satellite made for nice atmosphere when inside, but mostly we were outside!"

Location was perfect, rooms are a good size... overall nice place, a couple of small details I think should be changed the seating in the living room is not comfortable... also a broom would be nice, and more cooking pots.
Would stay here again but would probably take those items with me (broom & pots) "

"Great location and a memorable vacation the whole family enjoyed
This is a great home with a lot of conveniences including closeness to the beach, a grocery store across the street, and just a few blocks from the Newport pier, shops, and restaurants. Our kids loved the toys outside and available beach equipment. The neighbors were friendly and we felt safe. Parking is a little tricky, but if accessing the garage from the beach side, it's really not too bad. We fit our SUV (Honda Pilot) just fine. The washer and dryer were a big plus. We will definitely be back!"

"Small Family vacation
Very nice home and good beach location. Only one drawback is the 1 car parking is limited to a very compact car."

"Nice location but really uncomfortable furniture.
The location is great, near the beach but once indoors the furniture was incredibly uncomfortable. The living room has a very small bamboo coach that was way too uncomfortable and small to relax or sit on. We never stayed indoors as a result. The parking was challenging because you have to backin from a very small alley way. Luckily we had a midsized car, a large car would be impossible. If the furniture were different, we would have been comfortable."
