LIVING & DINING

After a relaxing day in the sun, make yourself at home in the spacious living area with cool tile floors, wall mounted flat panel TV and two couches.

Roomy enough to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner, the open kitchen features updated counters and a full range of appliances. Large cabinets provide plenty of storage space. Take meals together and share the days adventures in the cozy dining area.

BED & BATH

The master bedroom has a queen bed and en-suite bath with walk-in shower. The first guest bedroom has a queen bed, the second two twins and a TV. These bedrooms share a hall bath with tub/shower combination and an exterior access door for après beach clean-up.

OUTDOOR SPACES

Grill up family favorites on the roomy front patio with BBQ, table, chairs and umbrella. The large shared side patio is great for storing bikes and beach gear. A coin-op washer dryer used by both units is in the laundry room just off the patio.

There is parking for one car in the single bay garage.

THE LOCATION

Just three lots from the water’s edge, and mere blocks from shopping and dining, you’ll have easy access to all the area has to offer. Zip down to the water for swimming and sunning, then grab groceries at Pavilion’s or take your pick of favorite local eateries. Try Malarky’s for beer and burgers or Wild Taco for Mexican fare on the patio. Gina’s has pizza and pasta for the whole family, and seafood, healthy Mexican and French fare are around the corner on Newport Blvd. Check out dozens of options for dining out within a 10-minute walk.

Pedal the bike path (boardwalk) to explore the entire Peninsula and Balboa Island via the ferry. The Newport Pier area is a short trip away with shops, restaurants and rentals. The Balboa Pier and Fun Zone area is a half hour walk or fifteen-minute bike ride for more activities.

This area is chock-full of family-friendly entertainment options!

"STINKY BEACH HOUSE
Very dissatisfied, the house smelled of cat urine. Went though 3 bottles Lysol spray. Carpets were very old. The day before we left the plumbing backed up. I WAS TOLD THIS UNIT HAD BEEN REMODLED. "

We were told this house was "average", that is the biggest LIE ever!!! This house is run down, unkept, dirty, gross, and a huge fat safety concern!!! The electrical outlets spark, cracked tiles in the bathroom, peeling shower floor, unkept front patio, missing blind segments, dirty screens, etc... All the furniture is mismatched abd dies not even make sense. and tv's in both bedrooms barely work. No signal in the master except for 3 lame channels & the one in the other bedroom the picture quality was so distorted it could not be used. No ceiling fans & when we arrived we had to go but our own batteries for the living room tv remote and buy 2 light bulbs for the only ceiling fan in the living riom. Litchen light does not work at all & comforters on bedding looked like they had not been washed in ages!!! We totally got bamboozled on this property & never ever will I trust Burr White again to find a property for us. "

"Desperately needs to be updated
The only nice thing about this vacation rental was the location. The home itself is in desperate need of updates. I believe the home has been painted recently but that is it. There is mold growing out of the bathroom walls, The door from the master bedroom doesn't seal and is corroded. The outlets in the master bedroom do not work (so no place to charge your phone) The only light in the master bedroom is 1 dim lamp. There is NO light in the main front living room. There was only one bulb in the dining room light fixture that worked and the kitchen light was very temperamental. I don't think the kitchen or bathrooms have ever been updated. The master shower is dingy and has no shelf to place a bar of soap let alone shampoo. The kitchen was not well equipped there wasn't even a spatula to flip pancakes. If you plan on preparing food in this kitchen bring your own sharp knives and cutting board. The volume on the TV in the family room didn't work most of the time. Since we spent our days away at the beach we would come home in the evening to a dark house and unable to hear the TV. Unfortunately we couldn't get a hold of property management because it was after hours so none of these issues were ever resolved. And another side note...Verizon does not get cell service inside this house. You have to go outside and walk a couple of doors down in either direction. So another reason we couldn't get a hold of property management. And WARNING the garage is beyond SMALL!! It is only for a compact car. If you have anything larger once you pull in the garage you will not be able to open your car door to get out of the car. We will not be staying that this location again. "

"Family Vacation
We had a great vacation but will not be renting here again. It is very dingy feeling and there were alot of bugs running around. Actually the people upstairs said they found 8 cockroaches in about 3 days! Two diffrent times spiders crawled out of the couch while I was sitting on it with my 4 month old... The furnature was pretty rough and when we peeked under the couch cover, we were blown away... The water heater worked great and the location is great though. Other than the bugs, this is a very child proof house. The carpet in the bedrooms is so dirty that it was even a little crusty though so we did not like our kids playing in their rooms. All and all, Burr White was very professional but this house is not a place I want to bring my family again... "

"Cleaness
The plase was generly clean, the master shower head was pretty bad.The front bathroom tub wouldn't drain an the sink leaked on to the counter. Most the windows an blinds were dirty."

"My Stay
I did enjoy my stay very much but there were two things that were slightly stressful about it. Check in time is 2:30; however the cleaning crew did not leave until after 4:00. Fortunately, we could park somewhere but if we had been traveling from a great
distance or had small children with us it would have been a real inconvenience. Also, the bottom unit has to park in the very small garage, which only compact cars fit in. I wonder why the upstair unit gets two large parking spaces and the downstairs only
gets one compact space. I think it would be much more fair that each unit gets at least one regular parking space. Fortunately, the people in the upstair unit were very generous and let me have one of the bigger parking spaces. However had they not done that
I would have had no parking space because my car would have not fit in the very small garage that was my parking space."
