The day begins with a glass of freshly-squeezed orange juice and a steaming cup of coffee. You head out the front door, and the short walk to the beach, and, because it is early, there is no one there - nothing but the rhythmic waves crashing against the white shell sand of Florida's Emerald Coast. You walk back, smiling and waving to the couple from "Coral Cabana" or the "Banana Cabana" to find the household up and about, with kids playing and breakfast cooking and all the joyous confusion of a family vacation.
Or maybe it's just you and your spouse (or that special someone), and coffee and the morning paper, sitting on the large wrap around front porch, listening to the birds chirp and smelling the glorious smells of the ocean in the early morning.
One way or another, there can be no doubt this is that little bit of heaven you have been dreaming of all year, knowing these will be the memories you will telling your friends.
"Pineapple Cabana" is our five bedroom, three-bath, beach house with a very private pool, located on a quiet, private cul-da-sac in the popular Crystal Beach area of Destin, Florida.
Just a short walk to the beach (1,500 feet), this private beach house has three large bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living room, dining room and a full modern kitchen in the main house. There is a connected In-Law quarters house that has two bedrooms, a kitchenette and a full bathroom. The master bedroom in the In-Laws quarter is a queen-sized bet with private bathroom and a closet. The other bedroom has two sets of bunk beds. The kitchenette has a refrigerator, microwave and sink, counter and cabinets, with dishes and silver. There is also a separate eating are for four, acomputer desk with wired and wireless, and a wonderful porch with two hand maid double swingchairs. .
In the main house the master bedroom suite features a king-size bed, walk-in closet and a large master bathroom with oversized tub with shower. The first guest bedroom has a queen-sized bed, dresser and closet, the second guest bedroom has two twin beds, dresser and closet. All bedrooms have their own TVs.
The modern kitchen has every amenity and appliance you need. Whether you plan to enjoy the local cuisine and use the kitchen for morning coffee, or stay in to cook up an authentic three course dinner, Pineapple Cabana will meet your every need. With tons of counter space, this spacious kitchen will fit every cook in the house.
Conveniently, the dining area is located next to the kitchen with a formal dining table that seats six comfortably. The separate dining room is great for a cozy family dinner. The large windows in the dining room also make it bright and sunny, perfect for an early morning breakfast before hitting the beach. And with the easy-to-clean hardwood floors (throughout the house), the dining room is ideal for families with kids and those occasional spills.
We love "Pineapple Cabana on Easy street" and we think you will, too. So much so that we think that once you stay here you will want to come back year after year as many of our guests do, and you'll want to tell your friends about your great new find. And on top of it all, if you check our prices and compare feature by feature for a five bedroom home, you will find that the "Pineapple Cabana" is an outstanding value in all of the Crystal Beach area this close to the beach.
