Our unit sleeps six . There is a king size bed in the master, a queen-size bed,and a set of twin beds.
Folly Beach, often referred to as the Edge of America, is located at the end of Highway 171 on the Atlantic Ocean just eight miles (10 minutes) from downtown Charleston, South Carolina via the new interstate connector (#30).
Our Non-Smoking unit is located near the Folly Beach Pier (this is your ocean view from the living room and master bedroom). From our condo its only a short walk to shops and restaurants in downtown Folly Beach. Folly Beach is widely known as a "family beach." You can watch your children play on the beach from our unit.
It is only a short drive to the Charleston Battery, Market, carriage rides, antique shops, antebellum mansions, and harbor cruises. World-class golf (Ryder Cup-Kiawah Island) is twenty minutes away. The Charleston and Municipal Golf Course is about eight minutes away.
Even if you are not successful fishing from the Folly Beach Pier (you can rent a pole for $5 per day), do not worry, there is a great fish market offering freshly caught seafood every day. Our villa is furnished with all the cookware you will need to prepare a seafood boil or oysters on the half shell.
Don't feel like cooking? Walk 150 yards to the Starfish Grille at the pier for a great portabello mushroom sandwich, gyro, hamburger, salmon, tuna, or pasta dish. For a delightful candlelit evening, we recommend Suzanne's Cafe on the corner across from the pier, and Mondo's Delight or The Mustard Seed on neighboring James Island. Try Locklear’s on James Island for delicious family fare.
So get away from the daily grind. Take a long walk on the beach or just sit and watch the surf come in. Folly Beach is less than a four-hour drive from Greenville, Asheville, Raleigh, Augusta,or Atlanta and a two-hour drive from Columbia. We know you will have a great time at Folly Beach!
