Dream Come True was a dream that became a reality for our family! After vacationing on St. George Island for several years we were able to build our dream home and look forward to sharing it with you! From our experience as renters, we incorporated features that we considered very important to make our guest feel welcome, comfort, and relaxation! Details make the difference and you will find these details throughout our home.
Floorplan
Dream Come True has 3 levels and 5 porches. A tiled entry with a sea shell theme greets you as you enter. The laundry area is located here.
2nd Level
3 bedrooms, 2 baths. Main Master is spacious with wrought iron King bed, overstuffed chair, TV, VCR. Luxurious bath with 2 person Jacuzzi, marble topped his & hers vanities, huge octagon-shaped walkin shower. The porch off the Master overlooks the Pool. Kids bedroom has a fish theme and uses bright primary colors and has one twin bed, a triple bunk (double on bottom, single on top), TV & VCR. The Lighthouse Bedroom is quite spacious with a queen bed, TV, reading nook with a comfortable chair and a private porch. These bedrooms share a hall bath.
3rd Level
Powder Room. Reading Nook. 2nd Master Bedroom with a garden theme has a queen bed, bay window, private porch, private bath. The living area is bright and airy. Lots of seating with a queen sleeper sofa, loveseat and chairs that face the custom built oak entertainment center that houses the 32” TV, VCR, DVD, Surround System and Fireplace. The Kitchen has side by side frig with ice maker, stove, microwave, & dishwasher. The kitchen is generously stocked with every thing you need to prepare a great seafood meal. The custom built dining table seats 8 and the breakfast bar easily accommodates 4. The porch off the living area overlooks the pool and faces the ocean. We love relaxing on our porch, drinking a beverage, feeling the sea breezes on our faces as we watch the rolling surf or the pelicans gently guide by.

How far is the house from the Beach?
I haven’t measured it but a good guess would be 300-400 steps. I’m on the beach within 3 minutes of leaving the house.
Can you see the Ocean?
Yes, we have a view of the Gulf. You can see the ocean, between our neighbors houses. We are the 3rd house from the beach.
How do I get to the Beach?
Sandy & wooden beach easements are placed approximately every 900ft. within the Plantation. You can walk the sandy path to the west of the house without crossing any streets.
What’s the weather like?
The average daily highs are: Jan 62, Feb 63, March 67, April 74, May 82, June 86, July 88, Aug 89, Sept 86, Oct 81, Nov 74, Dec 66.
How do I make a reservation?
Begin by clicking “Make Rental Inquiry” to email us. Our home is professionally managed by a rental agency. We will need basic mailing information to forward a rental agreement and confirmation letter.
What is the Plantation?
The Plantation is a private community covering 5 miles of the western end of the island. It is a gated community and offers 24 hr. security. Lots are ½ to 1 acre offering spaciousness and low density. There are about 400 homes. Some of the best fishing in Florida is located at Sikes Cut, available only to owners and Plantation guest.
St. George Island
Welcome to beautiful St. George Island, located along Florida's Forgotten Coast. The island is on the Panhandle between Panama City and Tallahassee. The distance from Atlanta is approximately 350 miles and about a 7 hour drive.
St. George Island is a 27 mile long barrier island boasting the best in family-oriented, uncrowded outdoor recreational opportunities. Some of the best fishing in Florida is available by surf fishing off the beach, bring your own boat to fish in the bay or hire one of the many local guides to help you bring home the catch of the day. If you love seafood, you'll find great meals awaiting you at one of the local seafood dealers or enjoy it prepared your way at one of several great restaurants. If you enjoy shopping, you'll love exploring the variety of shops available on the island. Just a short drive away you'll find Apalachicola, a historic and still active fishing village with lovely homes, a marine estuarine, dining, shops and a lovely seaside park.
St. George Island offers nature at its very best. In the spring watch the nesting eagles and ospreys that live on our island. In the summer enjoy the sea, sun and just have fun with your family. The fall offers the migration of the Monarch butterflies. In the winter enjoy the peace and beauty of unspoiled sunsets. We love our island and can't hardly wait to share it with you. Come on down.

| Easily accomodates 2 families. Sleeps 10-12: 1 king, 2 queens, 1 twin, triple bunk, and a queen sleeper sofa (sleeper sofas are not recommended for adults).
Pool: 16 x 32 Tradewinds shaped pool with large decking and fence, poolside chairs, loungers, and picnic table provided, enjoy beautiful sunset views from the pool. Pool is not heated Nov, Dec, Jan or Feb. Enclosed outdoor shower with hot & cold water. 4 beachchairs, beach umbrella, wheeled cooler.
5 Phones, 4 TVs, 3 VCRs, 3 DVD, Cable TV, Surround Sound System. Sony Playstation One. Zoned Central Heat & Air. Ceiling fans in all bedrooms and living areas for your comfort. Tile flooring in living, dining, kitchen and baths. Gas fireplace, park side charcoal grill, and fish cleaning sink (fishing charts & info). Washer & Dryer, Iron, Ironing board. 80 Gallon hot water heater. Whole house water softner & conditioning systems. Small video library, Books, Magazines, Puzzles, and Games. Kitchen is fully stocked, Microwave, Dishwasher, Stove, Side by side refrigerator with ice maker.
An initial supply of bed, bath & kitchen linens are provided. The beds are made, and the home is professionally cleaned upon departure. We pay the linen & cleaning fees for our guest.

Cancellation Policy
If the property is not rerented for the canceled period, the entire advance payment will be forfeited. Every effort will be made to rerent the property. If rerented the advance payment less 10% will be returned.
