Our villa is ideally located in an exclusive, quiet area just 1 1/2 miles east of the center of Cabarete. We are only 20 minutes from the Puerto Plata International airport; a 3 1/2 hour flight from New York.

Villa Leone is located directly on a beautiful secluded beach where other people are rarely encountered. Topless sunbathing is allowed on the beach.

We have currently completed our new hot tub and patio directly on the beach in front of Villa Leone. This serves as the focal point of all beach activity; connecting the beach with the pool and the shade of the bohio and gazebo. Wicker furniture allows you to sit on a beautiful brand new brick paved patio directly under our swaying coconut palm trees as you sip your favorite drink.

If the water is too rough in the ocean, hop in your private pool. if the pool is too cold, hop in the always hot hot tub. At night, head to town for gourmet dining and nightlife till the wee hours. Sosua, only 15 minutes away by taxi also has a lively nightlife with street parties and bachata concerts.

As you enter the villa, the open floor plan provides easy access to the kitchen, dining room and living room.

The open stairway leads to a large bright second floor landing from which each of the 3 large bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms are entered. Two bedrooms have private balconies.

Villa Leone offers a private gazebo from which to enjoy the intoxicating views of the sun, sand, surf, wind and waves. There is also private parking for your car.

The Treehouse
Our New Tree House provides another little hideaway to escape to for that afternoon nap or cocktails any time of the day.

A small spiral stairway leads to our Tree House and roof terrace from the 2nd floor hallway landing. Once on the rooftop, the panorama of ocean, mountains and beach are nothing short of spectacular!

The roof terrace is finished with locally produced natural terra cotta pavers. The edge of the roof is bordered with spanish style balluster concrete railings.

The Tree House is constructed of all natural wood in the same fashion that the Taino indians constructed their bohios hundreds of years ago. The edges of the bohio cana roofing frame an already overwhelming view of the shoreline.

For your comfort and enjoyment, a full size bed constructed of all natural bamboo is provided as well as two bamboo chairs and cocktail table.

The Tree House will surely become one of your favorite places to relax.

Our Villa Leone masseuse is just a phone call away. Your massuese will arrive at Villa Leone and set up her professional massage table at your choice of fantastic locations.

Choices include the rooftop treehouse, oceanfront brick paved patio under the swaying coconut palms, the pool and seashell hot tub patio, or right out on the playa next to the breaking waves which will lull you further into quiet abandon.

Cabarete & Activities
The main east west road connecting Cabarete with all of the other interesting towns along the beautiful north coast lies at the entrance to Villa Leone , providing easy access to wherever you may want to explore. The center of town is only 1 1/2 miles down the road. You can hop on the back of a motorcycle for a ride into town for $1 or take a taxi for $6.

As far as activities go, you can arrange for horseback riding on the beach, 4 wheeler ATV riding, catamaran sails, river trips, snorkeling, cable car rides, helicopter rides, as well as a host of other activities.

The beautiful mountains, set against the blue horizon, exceed anything imaginable, as far as what paradise should look like.
