Cancellations to any reservation results in forfeiture of $200.00 advance rent deposit. Changes to the booking have to be made Thirty (30) days prior to arrival for Short Term reservations. Sixty (60) days prior to arrival for Monthly reservations. Once final balance is paid there are NO REFUNDS due to cancellation. If you have purchased Travel Insurance with CSA you would need to contact them with questions regarding claims.1-866-4018

Full payment is due fourteen (14) prior to arrival for SHORT TERM reservations. Please make payments in the form of traveler's checks, bank money orders, cashier’s checks, or a personal check if not we will bill your credit card on file for these charges.
MONTHLY rentals must be paid by check or cash only Thirty (30) DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL.

It was beautiful. The condo was really nice only thing they should had curtains in the small room because the light thats on the building is very bright. And should get better sliding doors for the living room. Other than that we wished we would of stayed longer. "

"El matador unit #329
The el matadore has everything we are looking for in a vacation spot, we have stayed here many times, but it had been about 15 years since previous stays. As far as the complex itself it was just as we remembered it and is very well kept. The unit itself was clean and in decent shape, but the main slider had deteriorated to a point that most of the kids and women could not open, nor close it! I myself had to lift and fight to open and close it, while maintance was quick to arrive after I called the office it was not fixed before our stay was over. It was pretty frustrating for anyone wanting to go out on the balcony, and as you can imagine that went on throughout the day and at nite with people on different sleeping schedules, they either had to go tthrough our bedroom, or fight the main slider and the additional noise. We also were cooking and had some smoke forming in the unit, someone opened a side window for a few minutes, then we couldn’t get it shut, spent 20 to 30 minutes on it trying to get it coded, a couple times I thought it was going to fall out.
I understand that parts for a slider that age are not readily available, but for the premium we paid for the unit I would expect things like that to be checked to make sure they are in working order.
We enjoyed our stay at the el matadore, but this was quite the downer!"

first Alicia Hollis Realty was very pro active and took my concerns seriously, the condo itself looked good at first but ac broke and was useless on the 3rd day,ceilings were filthy,ceiling fan in master didn't work,dinning table legs coming loose,dinning chairs broken,ice maker didn't work, and front door lock was useless."

"Great location! Great beach!
The rental was very roomy and bright especially the living room area. It is an older condo but it was clean. There was a keurig, regular coffee pot, toaster oven, toaster, and microwave provided which was nice. The location to the beach is great! You only have a short walk down sidewalk and boardwalk to be directly on the beach. Only downside for me was there is no washer and dryer in condo although one is located on the same floor. I would stay here again definitely!"

"Nice Stay Family Vacation
My family and I have been traveling to Destin/ Ft. Walton area for years. Each time we have stayed at many condos and this one was disappointing as far as cleanliness, and ease of use. The area was amazing, the condos are older but the condo amenities are very well kept from the pool to the workout room and boardwalk to the beach. Since the condos are older the elevator is kinda creep and hot, and the carts(shopping carts) for bringing up items on the elevator are sparse or families didn’t feel like returning them for others. The laundry room on each floor had 1 washer and dryer and it’s hot inside the room.
The condo was huge, the AC ran well and fans are provided. The front door is tough to get in, kitchen was well equipped on cookware a plus. Countertops were not fully wiped down from last guests. If you cook on the stovetop don’t lift up the kitchen window to vent since there is no vent hood..the window is hard to get opened and closed. The 2nd bedroom was a great room. The hall bathroom was small but nice just not cleaned as well as their was hair left behind the toilet.
Living room was a nice area just yet again needed a deep cleaning baseboards were yucky. Just don’t open the patio from here it’s really tough.
The master bedroom was comfortable bed is a little lumpy but ok. Linens were clean. Master bath was big the closet doors wouldn’t stay on the track..and some hair was not mopped up from the last guest. Bathroom needed more areas to hang items especially since no patio clothes rack was there. The Patio was not cleaned at all..the table and chairs were good to look at the ocean the best part.
A lot of things were broke from blinds, windows, cabinets but not enough for our family to have a wonderful time!! Not dirty enough for me to leave but disappointed no smells of bleach or Lysol. We had to go over so many things. Be prepared to buy your own dishwasher tablets, dish soap, toilet paper, Lys"

" Building 3
It was clean and location good to pool - beach. The condo balcony needs a major clean the floor is very dirty. Cleaning supplies should be left clients staying for a month. I stopped at the Alicia office to get a dustpan. No pepper or dish soap when we arrived? Each condo should have recycling containers. Wifi is way to slow owners should invest in higher speed for there guest renting."

The El Matador complex was wonderful! Loved the large pool. I was supposed to have a gulf front condo but it was a gulf view which was extremely disappointing!
The condo furniture was nice but the condo itself was very outdated (1960's) including the can opener which would not work. I would not recommend this unit to anyone unless it had a complete update!"
