Features include: well equipped kitchen, large private pool (14x36), hot tub, breakfast bar, highchair, 2 baby gates, screened porch, decks w/furniture, middle deck has two porch swings one single seat, one dual person, multiple CATV's and VCR's including 2 home theater systems with stereo/DVD/CD players, DVD Jukebox (Great Room), video library, observation deck for stunning sunsets, enclosed outside shower, large charcoal/smoker grill, wet bar w/mini-fridge, gas fireplace (off season only), basketball goal, Playstation and Playstation 2, high speed wireless internet access for your computer, but only for FUN, not work, remember you are on vacation! The private lake is very close by and has a 1 mile jogging path around the lake which leads to community tennis courts and pool. There’s lots to see and do nearby - 1 1/2 miles to the Currituck Club golf course (call 888-453-9400 for tee times). Less than 1 mile to TimBuckII Shopping Plaza w/ putt-putt, go-carts, water sports, small shops, restaurants & the Food Lion shopping center across the street. Also nearby, the Whalehead Club and Currituck Beach Lighthouse (visible from our observation deck too!). If you own a 4 wheel drive vehicle you can explore the 4 wheel drive beach where you will find many hidden treasures such as the Corolla Wild Horses. Sorry, no smoking allowed. Pets are welcome! We have it from a reliable source that you can also connect your XBox© directly to the front inputs of the Great Room Stereo and enjoy gaming in surround sound while relaxing on the sofa! This same source and others have also raved over the comfort of the sofa in general.
(We do plan additional future amenities, if there is something you would particularly like to see us include please contact us and let us know. It may be that we simply have not listed it here, but we will gladly enhance the home with the amenities our guests prefer.)

The hardwood furniture in A Pirates Paradise© was provided by Knock On Wood furniture located in Woodbridge, VA. The furniture is primarily solid oak, with some maple, pine and aspen thrown in for good measure. We HIGHLY recommend using Knock On Wood for your own furniture needs. You can obtain pieces finished or unfinished in a variety of stains. The prices were more reasonable than you would think and the service was far beyond what anyone

| A Pirates Paradise© is available for rental from Mid-March to the end of November. Also, in the off-season you may rent for less than a full week at a specially reduced rate. You'd be surprised how relaxing a fall or early spring weekend can be!
