"Lanai is the best
Ample space for our family of 4. The lanai is large and accessible from all rooms - so relaxing to sit and look for whales swimming by. Good location close to food and shopping. The kids loved the Pool. Parts of the condo were definitely older, but overall very comfortable and met our needs perfectly."

"Amazing condo with an amazing view
Our stay was very delightful. The condo had every amenity you can think of and more. The view was incredible from our huge, covered patio and the location was perfect. If I'm lucky enough to get back to Hawaii, I will definitly stay here again.
The booking was easy and the Management company was awesome. I had texted back and forth a few times and the responce was almost immediate.
If I had to give a negative, the shower towles can be updated."

Generally good, did not like the noise of the air conditioners. Needed more supplies, dishwasher soap, toilet paper. Paperwork indicated pull sheets and towels--at the last minute instructions were to complete laundry--should have known sooner but we left a day early and had time to complete."

"Kailua-Kona
We found our condo clean and in a great location near downtown Kailua. Near shopping, rental services and restaurants. We could easily walk to town.
We had a few issues in that the disposal did not work, the A/C units were noisy and the cushions on the lanai need to be replaced, but all in all, it was a great price point with a terrific location."

"Love the place and the lanai
Loved the place, especially the lanai. Loved being able to walk to town. The one bad thing was the mattress on the queen bed. Both my wife and my backs were hurting for days after sleeping on that bed."

"Minnesota Escapees
We had a wonderful time in Kona-Kailua. The condo is in a great location and we were able to walk to many restaurants and shopping places. The view is awesome from the huge lanai. We had a few maintenance issues that were resolved quickly by the property managers. They replaced all the bed pillows immediately when we told them the pillows there were flat as pancakes. That was awesome!!�� "

"Condo with great view, close to town
This condo was really close to town and had wonderful views from the living room and massive lanai. The furniture, bathrooms, and kitchen were dated but if you are in Kona and are not fussy about that type of thing this would be a great place to stay."

"Relaxing getaway
The condo was as pictured, clean and well-kept. We enjoyed bird watching and gorgeous sunset ocean views on the huge lanai surrounded by tropical landscaping
Very quiet and private. The air conditioning in each room was loud, but it was good to have it because most places in Hawaii don't have any at all. There were some nights that we couldn't leave the doors open because of the noisy wildlife (non-human). We got used to it after a couple of days. Good parking at no extra charge.
It was an easy walk to dining, shave ice and snorkeling and close to the waterfront and many conveniences. We enjoyed drinks looking out at the ocean at the Royal Kona across the street. We explored the natural beauty of the"dry" side of the island.
After we left, the management called about a necklace I left behind. It had great sentimental value and I appreciate the effort to return it to me.
We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. "

"Great location, views and well-maintained
Condo was perfect for our group of 5, the condition exactly like the pictures. Furnished outdoor patio was a huge plus to enjoy the great weather and views. Only drawback was having some more basic supplies like paper towels, dishwashing detergent , hand soap, etc. could make the stay even more convenient and not have to buy big packages of everything for a short stay. "

"Great Lanai and location - needs a facelift and some upkeep
Wonderful location, and loved the patio or lanai. The condo has a nice remodeled kitchen and is very quiet and private. Great pool and can walk everwhere. Down side was all the shabby furniture, linens in the unit. New bedding and linens needed throughtout. Nice remodeled kitchen was lacking sets of matching basics. Needed new couch, freshened up patio cushions, pillows and more. Overall we were very happy because we got a low rate and loved the location, but the plance needs some improvements to make it totally worth the price and to reflect the photos. "

"Our Ohana Island Mini Vacation
I would like to Thank the owner and property management for an awesome experience here at Kona Pacific B409! My family and I, truly enjoyed our stay there.
From the very start on web search for that perfect vacation property, B409 stood out for us! Online reservations to check-in was a breeze! The location was excellent. Walking distance to many shops, restaurants and beaches. We enjoyed the day activities along with the night time highlights overlooking a beautiful view along the water's edge.
Although we were located in the middle hub of Kailua-Kona town, we slept like babies! No outside noise of traffic and Party goers. I liked that they had extra beddings, towels, fully equipped with all kitchen utensils and cookware. Very beautiful upgraded kitchen and bath! The lanai was breathtaking with both mountain and ocean views and very spacious! B409 comfortably accommodated my family of 6. Even provided a fishing pole which my son enjoyed greatly.
A huge Mahalo! We will be back next year!

This property was very clean, well appointed, comfortable, and spacious for our party of four. The third bathroom was so handy when we had to be out the door in a hurry. The beds were comfortable and the extra fans at night made the a/c redundant as it was a little noisy. The view from the lanai was gorgeous. The location made it easy to walk into town as parking was minimal. Would be my first choice to stay on a return visit!"

"Great Condo, movein ready... exceptionaly clean
great vacation, loved comming into the condo. Ac's were older and loud. Then After further reading I found that I was liable for $10 a day for the use of the ac.. I was surprised and This was not an up front agreement. If the electric bill is high, it might be due to the age of the ac's. and again they were very loud. you might look into a mitsubishi.. "

Overall I enjoyed my stay there. I want to mention some advice for you to improvethe quality of customer service.
The location and place is awesome. cleaness is okay except a lot of dust in the vent on the ceiling.
whilte towels looks grayish so it doesn't look clean even if washed and dry, recomend colorful towels so looks cleaner.
I requested filter in AC needs to be cleaned because the light turned on to be cleaned but never got a response on that.
I think it's not nice to mention last minute about possible extra charge for excessive use of AC. Tourists mostly spend time outside during the day and come home late. It not necessarily mention, and payment is already made and supposed to be inclusive not as a hidden poassible fee.
I hope that this can help you to improve service for others.
Otherwise I enjoyed your place.

We enjoyed having the 3 full bathrooms so each night our kids had their own shower, especially since we swam in the ocean daily. Queen's bath is a great beach for kids and adults, check it out it is very close. This place is not only beautiful but quiet and peaceful. The thrill of the night life being right in Kona is spectacular. You must visit this unit, 4th floor with ocean views, newly remodeled, gorgeous!"

"God Location but many problems
The unit itself is in fair condition, but no better than that. The location is very good and the view from the corner of the deck is very nice. Enjoyed the pool. Constant maintenance the second half of our stay made the place noisy."

"Fantastic place to stay
First of all the management company was great, as a property manager myself, I know the importance of a flawless arrival or move in. This was so easy and I had all the info needed way before arrival. I give the management company an A+ because I did not have to call them once. This condo was a great place to stay. I have lived in Kona and you cannot get a more central location than this. The lanai was fantastic, the view was amazing, it was quiet and relaxing, the pool area was fantastic. Just a perfect place to stay. Easy to park, elevator was close to unit, perfect. Suggestions I would make would be to make sure the shower curtains are clean or new (this is the reason for my 4 stars only for cleanliness, my shower curtain was gross) , in the master bath there definitly needs to be something to hang on to getting in and out of the tub, more utensils there is definitly not enough for a family staying there, tea towels and dish cloths would be essential to keeping the place clean. Also they can be easily washed with the bath towels. One last thing that I would change if it were my rental would be the carpets. They are not horrible but definitly could make the place 100 percent if they were not there. I hope this gives a future tenant an idea of the vacation rental, my suggesstions are basic and in no way would keep me from renting this place again. This will always be my first choice for a place to stay."

"Lovely Condo with a Fantastic view!
Management was very responsive when we arrived and discovered the unit did not have a coffee bean grinder and/or an alarm clock. These items were delivered to us within an hour. Instructions on how to operate the living room TV, the stove, and dishwasher would be helpful. The condo would benefit by the addition of a couple of beach chairs. Lovely unit with a fantastic view! Unfortunately, the condo below ours was undergoing remodel the entire three weeks we were there causing undesirable noise during the day but it is very quiet at night. We would definitely consider booking and would recommend to friends. We had wonderful food at the Fish Hopper, Kona Inn and Quinn's almost by the ocean. "

"Beautifully remodeled condo in the perfect location
We stayed in this condo Sept 2017. It is beautifully remodeled with modern kitchen and 3 FULL bathrooms. The view from the living room is fantastic, watch the sun rise and set right from the wrap around deck or on the comfort of the AC in the living room. A quick stroll and you'll be in the heart of downtown with restaurants, bars, shops galore! We highly recommend this property, my husband and I will definitely return!"

"Kona Pacific B409-Nice Place! Cud be more responsive to mx issues
We really enjoyed the stay and would definitely return to this place and/or recommend to others. We particularly enjoyed the fact it was recently renovated. The location was fantastic, only a very short walk to Kona and good restaurants. Very nice place!
The only negative, and we say this only so it might be improved upon, is that we had advised Knutson management by phone the day after arrival that there were a number of broken items in the unit that should be fixed. Not major items but things that should be looked at so they don't get worse, and from our estimation - easily fixed. The representative advise that the maintenance person would be advised and be to the unit as soon as possible. 9 days later when we left we had never seen anyone, and nothing had been fixed. From memory, the shelving in the master bedroom closet was pulled off the wall, a few screen patches had fallen off, all three AC units had a red filter light on, the main living area AC unit was leaking so much water it had pooled on the lanai, which left a small lake for the entire stay (AC unit was not used much), the rear legs on a chair in the second bedroom were bent in and likely to break off under weight, and one of the hinges on one of the new kitchen cabinets was very loose and the door was not aligned right."

Had a fantastic holiday, it was a home away from home. The apartment was in a perfect location, we could walk to restaurants and bars and go shopping. Everything we needed was at there for us. "Wonderful Kona Experience
We had a gret time in Kona due to the condo's location, location, location! Only a few blocks to downtown Kona but also easy access to the highway. We traveled to Captain Cook, around the south of the island to Volcanoes National Park to Hilo and back to Kona over the Saddle Road. Also went to the Kohala Coast and home thru Waimea hills,green fields and paniolo country.
The contemporary condo has a bay view and lanai from which to view it. Comfortable beds, easy to use kitchen, 3 bathrooms, washer and dryer, large TV. A good time was had by all."

"Best apartment we could stay in Big Island
It was a very comfortable apartment. Huge in size. 2 rooms with 3 bathrooms! Simply the best. No regrets at all. Well located. Central and parking was a breeze. There was also a huge fridge with an automatic ice dispenser. The washer and dryer were really effective so we did loads of laundry in no time. Absolutely fabulous."
