| DOLPHIN DEN is a newly constructed (2004) luxury island retreat only a short walk from one of the finest beaches in Florida. North Captiva is a bridgeless island in Lee County, Florida. Eighty percent of the island is a State Park. Access is available via water taxi from Pine Island, just west of Fort Myers.
Your views from the rooftop sundeck of the Gulf of Mexico to the west and Pine Island Sound to the east are spectacular! Relax in your Adirondack rocker and enjoy amazing multi-colored sunsets and sunrises.
The ground level deck is as large as the house and provides ample room for electric cart parking, outdoor grilling, outdoor showering, and storage for beach chairs, fishing gear, etc.
The first living level contains the master bedroom suite with walk-in closet, king-sized bed and satellite TV, two other bedrooms, another full bath, and the laundry room. The second living level, with its cathedral ceiling, contains the large fully equipped kitchen, dining and family room areas. Also on this floor is a spacious screened balcony with seating for eight, and a spiral staircase to the rooftop sundeck with its breath-taking views of the surrounding waters.
The family room area contains a large satellite TV with DVD and VHS players, a queen-sized sleeper sofa and more. Your rental includes membership to the North Captiva Island Club, only steps from your door, which entitles you to full use of all club amenities: 2 swimming pools, hot tub, tennis, children's activity areas, pool bar and grill, kayaks and other water toys, bicycles and more. Fishing or sightseeing charters can be arranged, and jet-skis and boats are available for rent. There are 2 restaurants on the island, along with a convenience store, boutique and pizza shop.
