"Beautiful space in the perfect location
We have stayed more than once at this property and love the location and views. The washing machine didn’t work. That was disappointing as a family of 5. I recommend that they replace this for the cost of the week. The air filter vents were filthy and overall should have been cleaned way before our arrival. "

"Spring Break on HHI
We had a great stay at 108 Windsor Place. Very nicely appointed property with an open living space for the family to hang out and great bathrooms with nice sized showers. The first floor corner location was perfect. No need to use elevators but elevated enough to get nice ocean views. The main pool was heated which was necessary with cooler temps that week, but kiddie pool heater was not working. Easy beach access. Centrally located on the island."

"Better than expected
Wonderful condo. Never stayed on first floor before but this location was the best. The condo is gorgeous and modern. The kitchen and beds are always a must for us and we were happy with both. The view was stunning. Unexpected was the wildlife. Deer, turtles and rabbits! Would definitely visit again. "

"Amazing Family Vacation
We spent another amazing week in Hilton Head staying @ 108 Windsor Place. We have been coming to the island for over 10 yrs. and this is our favorite place to stay. Our family of 7 loves staying at Windsor Place. Our granddaughter loves the pool and we as a family love the close proximity to the beach. The sunrises from the condo are beautiful and the outdoor seating area is perfect for enjoying breakfast or dinner. We look forward to coming back next year and staying again at 108 Windsor Place. The condo had everything we needed to make our family vacation one of the best we have ever enjoyed on the island. This is our 3rd year staying in 108 Windsor and we highly recommend it�� We also recommend the Crazy Crab and Hudson’s for dinner while on the island. "

"Zebra Condo
We have stayed in this condo before. We love the big porch and the bunk room for the kids. It's well equipped in the kitchen. Although some new sharp knives would be good and a few more kitchen towels. The pool and deck area needs to be cleaned more and earlier due to all the trees around it. "

"Wonderful villa with amazing view!
We just returned home from a wonderful week at 108 Windsor Place. This villa was as close to perfect as I could hope for. The views are amazing! We watched the sunrise over the ocean every morning from the balcony. The furniture, decor and fixtures within the villa are all top notch. The appliances were all new and while we found the stove to be confusing, the manuals were in the unit so we could read the instructions. The location of the villa within the building is perfect because it is accessible by elevator or one flight of stairs. There is a very short walk to the pool with easy private beach access as well. Parking is plentiful in the garage with bike racks easily available. We absolutely loved Palmetto dunes and all the amenities available such as the heated pool and hot tub at Windsor Place, pickle ball, and tennis. The resort itself is convenient to shopping at the Shelter Cove shopping center right across from the entrance. Our only complaint is that the floors were obviously not mopped prior to our arrival. Our feet and/or socks were black from walking in the villa. Everything else was spotless! The sliding doors to the balconies are difficult to open but that didn't lessen our enjoyment of the villa at all. The only thing that could make this unit better (other than a good mopping of the floors) is if it were pet friendly. Several of the owners had their dogs out on the beach and we would have loved to have our little guy with us as well. The rental company was very easy to deal with and had wonderful communication prior to check in. They made everything as smooth as possible, including arranging to have bikes and beach chairs delivered prior to check in. I highly recommend this property and we hope to stay here again next year!"

The condo was beautiful and great location.
However, the pictures on VRBO are not accurate. The one bedroom shows a queen bed and in reality it was bunk beds. This did make the stay in the condo with 3 families more difficult. I would recommend that you change the pictures on the website. "

It looks just like the pictures. Beautiful and had everything you could want in a rental. The only thing is it would be nice to make sure the windows are cleaned so you get the full view and if there was a mop and pail to use to keep the floor clean of sand. Otherwise perfection. "

"Don't judge a rental by the advertised pictures
After a 2 week vacation in October, 2018 I wrote to Merle at the rental agency and let him know about some obvious issues with the condo. I'm posting this because we never heard back. Here's some of what we said:
• Windows/Sliders dirty
o Not just a little dirty – it looked foggy outside and the sun was out. I’ve attached a photo that should be self explanatory
o With only 1 small roll of paper towels and 1⁄4 bottle of glass cleaner under the sink, we headed to the grocery store to buy cleaning supplies, returned and cleaned windows for the first hour of our vacation
o We understand that windows along the ocean get dirty quickly – we saw it on our car windows. The windows in this unit hadn’t been cleaned in some time – certainly not earlier in the day
• No screen porch
o Your advertising of this unit says there’s a screen porch – there isn’t. You even show a picture on your site (picture #5)
o Not only is there no screen porch, but the sliders that would’ve led out to a screen porch didn’t have screens, so we couldn’t open the glass slider doors to allow a breeze – for two weeks
• Master bed comforter
o OMG – what’s on the comforter and when was it washed last?
o We washed the comforter before using it
• Master bath shower
o There’s mold in the shower – and it didn’t look like it grew overnight
o We bought shower cleaner and removed the mold prior to using the shower
• Exhaust fans in all bathrooms
o Take a look at any of the 3 bathroom exhaust fans – time for a cleaning
• Minimal supplies for a luxury condo
o I guess this would be a picky complaint in a standard condo/house rental, but we rented a ‘VIP Villa’. Here’s what we couldn’t find on day 1

The unit was spectacular. Big windows and views of the ocean and dunes made us feel like we were in a very private location. Nature and quiet accented our stay. The private balconies were great. The unit was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed. We would definitely look for this unit again when we make our next trip to HHI.

"Beautiful Condo
We really enjoyed our stay at Windsor Place #108. The condo was clean and very to date. We had everything we needed...even a full size washer and dryer. The condo is perfect for 3 couples. Everyone has their own privacy the way the bedrooms are located with their own baths.
You practically walk out the door to reach the beach!"

"Amazing vacation rental! Great location and luxurious condo
Palmetto Dunes is prime location in Hilton Head and very well maintained - within 10 minutes of anything you want to do on the island. The condo is beautiful and spacious with all top notch appliances and fixtures. Our two complaints were very flat pillows - we had to buy fresh ones - and no blackout curtains in the bedrooms so we were up extremely early every day. The private beach was great and not crowded. The pools were perfect and not crowded at all either with plenty of chairs for everyone. Overall an awesome week at the beach!"

"Outstanding
We've been coming to HHI for quite a few years now and this is by far and away the best property we have stayed at. Only flaw that I saw and it was very minor and didn't even have an impact on our stay but the sliding door from the dining area to the outside was a little difficult to open. Nothing a little WD-40 did not fix at the time. The view to the beach/ocean was excellent. We had more than enough space for the 5 adults and 2 children that stayed. Everyone was extremely pleased and very appreciative of this location."

" Beautiful Hilton Head location
This is a beautiful unit with a great beach front location. We arrived 1 1/2 hours after check in time, and found the unit UNCLEANED. Luckily we were able to contact the property managers and they sent in cleaners, while we left for several hours. We luckily had not brought in our luggage etc. For such a high nightly rate, this should never happen. The flooring is all tile and a film of fine sand remained after the "cleaning". The entire unit needs a deep cleaning. Although the management offered us a small (under $100) amount for this issue, we never received ANY explanation or apology.
It is a beautiful unit, but the kitchen lacks some cookware amenities if you are truly going to do some cooking. A Kroger is nearby to purchase what you need. We love Palmetto Dunes and would stay in the area again, but doubt we'd use property managed by Sea Turtles again.
We would recommend Red Fish restaurant as it was our favorite. The Jazz club is a fun night and we got a reservation due to a cancellation. We mainly enjoyed the beach and did not do many other activities except ride the bikes we brought. "

"Perfect Family Vacation
This is an awesome property. Ocean View with a wrap around balcony connecting every bedroom and the dining room. Quality appliances (almost too modern we had to get some training from our kids). Comfortable beds and very nice Bathrooms. Each Bedroom had a private Bathroom, shower etc. Spacious and comfortable Family Room and Kitchen. I would recommend this to anyone. Location on the beach was outstanding and the pool and garage were great. Perfect"

My family loved this rental. The view is incredible and the condo is stunning. It is our favorite place on HHI. My only complaint is that the sliding glass doors and screens are hard to open/close and they need a very good cleaning and the condo needs a good deep clean over the doors and baseboards. It could also use some mats at the front door for sandy shoes. That's why I didn't give it 5 stars. However, we would stay here again."

Perfect condo and location for stay in Hilton Head. Very well stocked, beautiful decor and great views of ocean and beach. Easy walk down to beach and pool. Only complaint was the amount of sand everywhere in the condo, even when we checked in and that all bathrooms had showers. That was interesting with an 18mo old and 3 year old. So glad there was a big sink in the kitchen!"

This is a lovely rental. We had a hard time finding evidence that anyone even stayed there before us as the place was immaculate. The condo was beautiful with much attention to detail and the decorating was spot-on. The only negative we had was leaving to go home!"

What a wonderful time our family had at this beautiful property! We took our son, daughter and her family. The condo was absolutely gorgeous and well stocked With cooking items. The view is breathtaking and the pool was maintained very well. Couldn't ask for more except to stay another week!!! "

"Great Place!
Overall, our stay was very nice! The décor is updated and extremely well done. The kitchen was sufficient in size, however it could have used additional plates, glasses, silverware and serving pieces.
The pictures make it look more spacious than it actually was, but the eight of us had no problem sitting around and have a great time. We loved the screened in porch, as well as the side balcony for morning coffee and/or viewing the ocean and wildlife!
The third bedroom had two queen size beds in it. It made for cramped conditions. Closet space, as well as lack of floor space, were not sufficient to accommodate the amount of luggage brought by four people.
We never did make it to the beach. We probably would have if the complex had an access point for our building. Nevertheless, this rental was great and we would rent it again. "
