"Great experience!!
Alicia's team was easy to work with, extremely knowledgeable and very easy to get a hold of when I had questions. The condo is truly steps away from the beach. There was a vendor for beach chair and umbrella rental right on the beach. The description of the condo was accurate and clean. The decor is dated but we were there to be outside so that didn't matter to us at all. The details of the condo told us what we would need so we were prepared but it would be nice to have access to beach towels, paper towels and more toilet paper. The extra bedroom has blinds but not a curtain so the outside lighting keeps that room pretty bright at night. "

"Great family trip!
Great family getaway. Location and amenities were terrific! Convenient to beach, grocery, restaurants and attractions. A few days when the beach was double red flags was disappointing but it did not take away from how pleased we were with the accommodations. "

"Awesome location and Unit
I would definitely recommend Unit 611 through Alicia Hollis rentals. It was the largest unit we've ever stayed in and the cleanest as well. View is incredible and the condo had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. All of the customer service people at Alicia Hollis were very helpful each time I called with questions. We plan on returning!"

"Beautiful beach side retreat
The condo was in a perfect location, steps to the beach, easy 4 min drive to the boardwalk area with lots of great restaurants and the pier and close to fun attractions for the kids. The view from the condo was amazing- everything was as pictured and described in the listing. The furniture was comfortable, everything was in working condition. It was definitively one of the better vacation rentals I've stayed at over the past 12 yrs of beach vacations."

"First time snowbirds
We are a recently retired couple and first time snowbirds. We found the property and the location to be quite satisfying. Everything was clean and the condo was plenty spacious and inviting. Our particular location was on the 6th floor and we both prefer to generally be on upper levels so this was a plus for us. We both had envisioned spending more time in the pool area but no one can control the weather and it was cooler than that would allow on many days. That said it was a nice space on the days we did swim. There is also an enclosed tennis court which we did not use but observed others enjoying that area. The beach is right out the backside or is it the front as people with lake homes would say. The beach was totally clean with plenty of area to stretch out and remain private. During our stay in February the temps were mostly in the 60’s. Naturally a bit colder on rainy days and a bit warmer later in the month. We found the balcony space very much to our liking. With extended walls to the edge on each end it was a private space to view the ocean and relax in the the sun. Even on cooler or windy days if the sun was out it was an enjoyable space warmer than sitting on the beach yet still with the wonderful ocean view. The master bedroom had a comfortable king size bed with a nice mattress. There were plenty of shopping options for groceries and leisure activities plus multiple quality dining options to experience as well. We had a great time and hope to return next year. All in all a wonderful experience!"

"Very clean and beautiful view
Great location and price, beautiful view and very clean! It is a bit out dated but we loved the view and how clean 611 Surf Dweller was. Has a big private patio with plenty of room for all six of us to hang out! Located beach front for easy access to the beach anytime of day. It is just minutes from the boardwalk for shopping and minutes from Publix for anything else you might need from food to that forgotten razor. The property in general was well maintained and clean as well. Did I mention how clean it was!? We will be back!"

"Girls Beach Trip
This condo was perfect for our group of 6 women. Very clean. The rooms were extremely spacious. We loved having 2 queen beds in second bedroom and were not crowded. All beds and living room furniture all very comfortable. Separate laundry off kitchen was nice. We’ll stocked kitchen. We had everything needed to prepare 2 meals.. Bathrooms have been updated and are very nice. If additional renovations are done in the future it would make the condo fabulous. Hard surface flooring would be nice. Just not a fan of carpet at the beach. Very close to the beach and nice area for washing off sand. Quiet complex. "

"Great stay!
This until was perfect for our family. Very spacious with comfortable furniture. The full kitchen is very well stocked with everything you may need for a week. The 2 queen bedroom was so big that my son was able to sleep on a queen air mattress so he wouldn't have to share a bed, and they still had room to walk around in there! The master bedroom is huge as well. Both bathrooms are updated and clean. The private balcony is amazing with plenty of seating for everyone to stare at the beautiful views. We highly recommend this condo! "

Called Alecia Hollis Realty with complaints regarding TVs not working. Also the master bath sink was stopped up & wouldn't drain They did nothing. I called Direct Tv & they sent someone out but couldn't fix it. The elevators broke down & had to use the stairs. Kitchen needs new appliances & countertop. Needs better maintenance. "

" Vacation at surf dweller
We have stayed at the Surf Dweller for over 20 years. We love the size of the condo,and the closeness to the water .
We are close to shopping and we have great friends that we have met there and continue to meet every year.
We had issue with the pump on the a/c unit . AC guy came to look at it and we were told a new one would be put on. It made a lot of noise and could,hear it all day and all night. We called and ask again , did not get a response.
Would’ve like to have been told the reason a new one wasn’t put on. We rented for a month and are excellent renters.
The cleaning team needs to understand how to clean, the doors,tile,dusting ,
Our condo is cleaner when we left , than when we arrived."

"Our stay at 611 Surf Dweller
We enjoyed 611 for almost 6 weeks. We shared the condo with friends. There was enough room for us to enjoy, including TVs so everyone could watch "their" shows. The balcony is wonderful. We had coffee watching the waves almost every morning and enjoyed wonderful sunsets too. Location is good, convenient to all FWB activities and only minutes from Destin. A few repairs need to be made but we have been assured they are being done so we have reserved 611 for next year. "

If you're looking for a spacious, clean, and place that feels like home, then the Surf Dweller is the place to be. Although other condos may be newer, this one has the feel of being in a house on the beach. This is the second time we have stayed, and we will be staying again in 2018."

"Labor Day Weekend
Condo was exactly as described and pictured. The only disappoint was there was not a hot tub, just a pool and a kiddie pool. Linens were comfortable, but not enough provided for 4 adults. It does not make sense why you would need to stop by the real estate office. Other companies will do everything via email. Would stay again."

"Nice, but felt of grandparents in the 80s
We just had a quick weekend getaway. The staff I spoke with was very friendly, I accidentally booked a "smoking unit" noticed it after. The lady changed my rental with out issue. The location of the office was next to a strip club which was kind of off putting since we got to ft walton at 10pm. The unit it self wasn't terrible, just very out dated. Like going back in time to the 80s and going to visit your grandparents. "

"Surfdweller 611
The view was fantastic! However, I was under the impression that the 2nd bedroom was also ocean view and it was not. It had a view of the parking lot which caused the bedroom to be lit up at night like it was daylight. There were only mini blinds on those windows, no curtains. The bedroom also had a musty, mildew odor and the tv had a 10 second delay when you first turned it on even though it seemed to be a newer tv, then it had a delay when changing channels. The living room was beautiful. The furniture was updated and very comfortable. Caution! The tubs were very slick. Myself and one other in our party slid and fell in the tub at different times. The condo was well furnished and overall it was an okay experience."
