RESERVATIONS - All prices quoted are for 7 day rentals. A 50% advance rental amount must be recieved within 5 days of booking. Receipt of a signed vacation rental agreement will be required prior to confirmation of your reservation.

TRIP INTERRUPTION INSURANCE is available as an option on each reservation. The fee for the insurance is 6.5%. RENTERS MUST HAVE TRIP INTERRUPTION INSURANCE FOR REIMBURSEMENT DUE TO MANDATORY EVACUATIONS.

ADMINISTRATION FEE AND TAXES - All rental rates are subject to a $95 administration fee and state and local tax.

CANCELLATIONS - Carolina Designs Realty, Inc. must be notified in writing. If the property is re-rented for the original vacation rental agreement amount, tenant will receive a refund of the advance rental payment less 10% of the total rent. If re-rented for less than the original rate, tenant will receive the balance of the advance rental payment less 10% of the total rent plus an amount necessary to make full payment to the owner. All refunds will be made within 60 days of receipt of the re-rented advance rental payment. If the property is not re-rented, no refund will be paid.

POOLS AND HOT TUBS - Private heated pools will open on April 4, 2009 and close on October 25, 2009. Private unheated pools will open on April 25, 2009 and close on October 11, 2009. If your rental home advertises a heated pool, please be aware that a fuel fee is collected for use of the pool heater. The Pool Heat Fee for 2009 is $400 per week plus tax unless otherwise noted.

PETS - In most of our homes pets are strictly forbidden. If you bring a pet an EXTERMINATION FEE of $95 plus tax will be collected and additional deposits may be required.

WEDDINGS AND SPECIAL EVENTS - There will be an addendum to the lease pertaining to weddings that requires your signature and must be returned with the signed lease agreement. A security deposit in the amount of $2,000 in the form of a bank check thirty days prior to the arrival date is required. You will also be charged an additional event fee in the amount of $1,500. A maximum of 50 guests is permitted. On-street parking is not allowed thus alternative parking arrangements will be need to be arranged ahead of time.
