Honey’s Retreat in Carmel-by-the-Sea

Honey’s Retreat is an absolutely beautiful and charming, light, bright 3 bedroom 2 bath Tudor style home that can sleep 2 to 8 people. We are in the well known town of Carmel-by-the-Sea in a beautiful and romantic setting. Our two story home invites you into the warmth of French Country furnishings. The entry, living room and dining rooms have lovely hardwood floors and exceptionally comfortable seating. You will love the gas burning brick fireplace for your cozy evenings. You also have wonderful peek views of the Pacific Ocean and Point Lobos from the living room, front deck and an upstairs bedroom.

Unlike most houses in Carmel with tiny rooms our home has a huge master suite with a king-size bed and a mirrored wall of closets. A TV and DVD is available for watching your favorite movies while lounging in bed. Your very large master bath features a tub/shower combination, a separate large stall shower and large tiled counter with separate sinks.

We have a large bright and light well equipped kitchen for those who love to cook. Lots of cookware, lovely china, silver and glassware, are there to serve your favorite meals. Our beautiful French Antique dining table adds to the ambience and comfortable dining.

An original old fashioned staircase leads to the charming bedrooms upstairs, which feature a queen bed in one bedroom and a double and one twin in the other bedroom. There is a bathroom to share between the two bedrooms.

You will love the front deck of the house with a view of the forest and Point Lobos. You have the side deck for long lazy lounginh. The brick patio in the back has a table and chairs surrounded by a lovely garden of trees and foliage for your privacy. It is a perfect place to barbecue and dine for lunch or dinner.

If you are a golfer you can choose from 21 golf courses including the famous Pebble Beach course. If you love wine, visit the many wineries in Carmel Valley and surrounding areas only 10 minutes away. The beautiful scenery of Big Sur and Carmel will take your breath away and the walks you will take on the wide sandy beaches next to the ocean are too beautiful for words. The architecture of Carmel is very quaint and you will feel like you are going back in time. The wonderful twisted cypress trees are unique to this area so bring your camera for this picturesque village.

Your children will love the World Famous Monterey Aquarium and the great Fisherman’s Wharf. Shopping for antiques is another special pastime for Carmel, Monterey and Pacific Grove, just minutes away from Honey’s Retreat.

Other features of your home away from home include 3 TV’s, DVD, VCR and extended cable service. There is also a boom box for CD’s and cassettes. You will have a one car garage plus room for another car in the driveway, as well as some street parking.

The best we have left for last. Only 4 blocks or a 6 minute walk to the heart of Carmel, where you will find unique, quaint shops, beautiful art galleries and excellent restaurants. The beach is only a 12 block walk; this is a great way to get exercise without ever getting into your car.

Security Deposit
To make a reservation we require 25% of the rental fee as a Reservation/Security Deposit. We accept Visa or MasterCard for deposit only or use personal check or money order. Please send to:

When we receive your deposit we will send you a lease agreement to confirm.

Full amount due by personal check or money order 30 days before arrival.

General Cancellation Policy
A cancellation charge of 50% of the Reservation Deposit will be assessed if reservations are cancelled between 60 days and 31 days prior to scheduled arrival. If reservations are cancelled 30 days or less prior to arrival, 100% of the Reservation Deposit will be assessed unless lessor can replace the reservation. All other cancellations will be a $50.00 fee.
