"Good stay
We had a good experience at the breakers. But they didn't have any extra sheets and comforters for the pull out couch no extra trash bags. I'm really surprised that they don't have codes to get in to the door it's not that expensive. But the view was great and the room was clean. If you fix those things I would give it 5 stars but those things make it 3 stars."

"Very Happy with our room
From the time of booking until check out it was a great experience. The room was clean, location excellent,the staff at Sea Turtles was so accommodating and very friendly. The view from the balcony was good we could see our vehicle, pool and ocean. Being across the street from Piggly Wiggly, shops and restaurants was so convenient not having to drive anywhere. Elevator was handy being on 3rd floor."

"The Breakers Villa 320
Three month winter stay could not have been better. Sea Turtles Staff is excellent: organized, knowledgeable,caring, responsive- wonderful people.
Unit was close to perfect: beautiful view, easy access, convenient to anything & everything! Positives: Bed matress was super comfortable; nice furniture (brand new sleeper couch),combination oven/microwave,ample closet space, 3rd floor location(least amount of noise from adjacent units), great shower (in tub), all tile floors. Negatives; toaster oven, dishwasher basin fills up with dirty smelly water when not in operation, need better /additional entrance door security(only lock is old style key entry); recommend using bottled water for drinking. Parking availabilitycan be tricky"

"Perfect location
We love staying at Breakers. We have stayed at the villas many times. It is a perfect location and the elevators are a great addition . We were there the middle of Oct and there was plenty of parking at the complex We didn’t even have to move the car for days because there are restaurants and shopping and a grocery store all with in walking distance right across the street. Sea Turtle Getaways was wonderful to work with. They were quick to answer any questions and everyone I talked to was very pleasant and helpful. There is a drop box right at their convenient location if you need to drop off or pick up your keys when they are closed. The condo itself (302) had a very nice side view of the beach. We could watch the sunrise every morning from the balcony. The place was very clean and had a smart tv. The internet worked perfect. It would be nice if there was a cutting board in the kitchen as we ate breakfast and lunch each day in the villa and could have really used one. We found the couch difficult to get out of as it seemed a little worn out and uncomfortable and the mattress (for us) was also a bit saggy and uncomfortable. But overall it was a nice villa. "

"Disappointed
It may have been my over looking but I searched a rental for 5 and this room only had one bed and a sleeper sofa also their was no oven only a toaster oven and a microwave oven. Also the office was closed at 430 when the hours said 5. I had to drive 20 min out of the way to get keys and return them when most properties have key pads or lock boxes on the door that could be used for the keys. "

"March get away
The condo was excellently located right on the beach. Weather was a little cold and windy but we were able to enjoy a couple good days at the beach and then made the best of the other days."

"Mixed bag
The staff was very nice, however, we had a few surprises with this stay. It was just me and my daughter. We arrived late and realized there were no working elevators! We had to carry our cooker, suitcase, food etc up three flights of stairs! I broke my roll around cooler doing this because we couldn’t possibly carry it up! Also the washer was broken. They told me they would send someone to pick up our laundry mid week and clean it and bring it back but no one ever did, so we had to reuse our towels all week and brought a ton of dirty laundry home :/ On the flip side our view was lovely and the pool area was very nice. Check in check out process was easy as well and the location was perfect."

"Great management, poor unit
The management company was very good. They were responsive and convenient. As far as the actual villa is concerned, it was not what we expected. It was clearly dirty under the furniture as my three year old found dust covered change under the couch. The couch itself was gross, loaded with sand and unbearable to even sit on. The bathroom floor was disgusting and after wiping it down, we noticed it was covered in urine. Behind the toilet hadn’t been cleaned at all as it was black and moldy. The shower curtain was moldy. The air duct vents were caked in dust and mold, but the company did send someone to clean one of them. In addition, we found a blood stain on the comforter. "

"Great stay!
Great time there! Perfect location, just a few steps to the beach, great view, restaurants & shops next door and across the street. Covered parking kept the car cool. Room was great, perfect layout, tv worked well once we got the remotes figured out. Furniture and bed was comfortable. Sheets and towels need to be replaced. Rent the chairs & umbrella on the beach. Sea Turtle personnel were helpful and courteous. Loved the whole week. "

"Good but rental not so much
Our bed, the couch nor the pullout were comfortable at all. The ceiling fan in the bedroom made so much noise that we didn't use it due to that and we are using to having one on when we sleep. We even thought about replacing it ourselves. After any time on the couch, my legs would hurt so I would sit sidways to try to be comfortable."

"Love The Breakers!
We always have a great time at the Breakers. Loved the 3rd floor view of the pool and beach! The room was ok. Furniture needs updated and the master bed sagged in the middle. Clean for the most part but needs a deep cleaning. Either was extremely loud on spin. We don't spend much time inside so it met out needs. Cant beat the location!"

Good Vacation if I would have known a head of time I would have booked a bottom room steps got very tiresome after 7 days of vacation. Also the water was turned off during our stay it would have been nice to know that bit of information instead of getting this surprise notification and communication to all staying there would have been great"

Everything in the condo was very clean and comfortable. I loved all the beach themed decorations. It was perfect. There is a bedroom with a queen sized bed, a nice bathroom, a fully stocked kitchen and a living room with a big screen tv. Best of all is a private deck looking out toward the ocean. The beach is very crowded by the condo, but walk a bit down the beach and you will find a very quiet section of beach. Lovely! Also, this property is very close to all kinds of shopping and restaurants and places to rent bikes. It is the perfect location!"

"Small but clean

We were pretty happy with this rental. The view was amazing, and the location central to all the things we enjoy about Hilton Head.
There were a few things that that could make this rental more enjoyable. The first would be a new couch. When we would want to relax at night the couch was terrible! We had to pile bed pillows on it to make it comfortable enough to sit and watch TV. We actually ended up going to bed earlier because it was more comfortable watching TV in the bedroom.
We probably wouldn't stay at this unit again just because of the couch.
Breakers itself was well maintained, the pool was clean and the lounge chairs plentiful. We would definitely come back."

"Beach Front and Very Comfortable
I had a really good time at Breakers 320. It's a great location, close to shopping, restaurants and convenient to the Cross Island Parkway. It's a short walk to Piggly Wiggly and right on the beach. The unit is on the third floor and there's no elevator, but that didn't cause me any problems. The kitchen is small, but well-equipped. I cooked breakfast every morning, but wouldn't do much more than that. The bed is very comfortable. There is a good view of the beach and ocean from a sizeable balcony. Everything appeared to be in good shape and repair. The unit was very clean upon arrival and all drains ran well - no sand blockage. CAUTION: It's easy to lock yourself on the balcony. I did this. Be sure to turn the lock all the way to off. You can open the sliding glass door and still have the lock on. There is adequate parking on the site and some covered parking. I was able to get covered parking 80% of the time. Parking spaces are conveniently close. I really liked the place and location and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. I'm glad I found this unit."

"Very Nice Getaway
This property was perfect for the two of us. We essentially had everything we needed. I really enjoyed the balcony with the ocean view - it was lovely to go out and eat breakfast on the balcony and see the ocean. The pool was a bit smaller than we thought, but we actually never swam anyways because, we had the ocean! The Sunday before we checked out it seemed that there was a great influx of people and the beach was very crowded for our night walk, and I think that’s due to us being so close to the beach access at Coligny. The beach was pretty busy during the week but if it’s bothersome all you have to do is take your stuff down a bit farther and it’s open and free. It was convenient to be across from the shops and dining at Coligny plaza so we could just walk across the street to eat or have a few drinks. Overall it was a very nice vacation and we enjoyed our stay! "

This is the perfect location for visiting HHI! Not only are you just over the dunes from the beach, but you're also within walking distance (or less than a 10 minute drive) from countless shops and restaurants. The only cons I would list for this unit is that it's on the 3rd floor with no elevator (which is only an issue if you have lots of stuff to carry up/down). Also, and this may have been a one-time thing, but it wasn't left in the cleanest condition. There were crumbs and dirt left on the floor, paper towels used to clean were left laying around, and there was hair left in the sink and stuck to the bathroom door.
Make sure to bring your own paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, etc as they only provide enough for one or two days. Also, we didn't realize this until day 2, but the microwave is also a convection oven. There is not an instruction manual, but it's fairly simple to figure out or you can look it up online. You may want to bring your own baking pan(s) as there is only one glass casserole-sized dish provided. Also, the plastic utensils are not made for heat, so keep that in mind when using the skillets. There is a Piggly Wiggly grocery store within a 5 minute walk or you can drive 5 minutes to a Publix or Bi Lo.
If you plan to use the sofa bed for additional guests, you will need to bring your own sheets as those aren't provided.
Overall, outside of the July 4th holiday, this is a quiet, family-friendly location. The beach wasn't too crowded and there are umbrellas and chairs available to rent (from a vendor on the beach) for a decent daily/weekly rate. There are two high tides each day and, unlike the water in the Florida panhandle, the water is murky with lots of sand. The beach was clean, but be aware that the sand can be very hot, so make sure you have some flip flops/sandals to wear going to/from the beach.
Although you can find plenty to keep you busy ON HHI, if you plan to come and go, there is a $1.25 toll"

There was no DVD as advertised. TV in bedroom only worked off and on. HDMI cable likely bad. Refrigerator or ice maker made constant noise making it hard to sleep on sofa couch. Was very tough getting luggage up 3 flights of stairs as there was no elevator and I am a double lung transplant recipient. Villa was nice with nice view. Loved the location of the Breakers."

"Wonderful Getaway!
The condo was very clean and in a great location. The oceanfront view cannot be beat! Everything in Coligny Plaza was in walking distance so you have access to a grocery store and many restaurants and shops . Pool is just the right size and very nice. Would recommend ! "

"March Break at The Breakers - Unit 320
We had an awesome week staying in Unit 320, enjoying unseasonably warm weather which is always good when escaping the winter of the north. The unit was clean and ready for us to check in. The process of booking was easy with helpful personnel at Sea Turtle Getaways. I would recommend that items such as a starter amount of dish soap, laundry soap, a extra roll of paper towel and toilet tissue be supplied for staring out. Otherwise the kitchen was adequately equipped for our cooking. The view from the balcony facing the sunrise over the pool and the ocean was indeed inviting and relaxing. The location is ideal for bike rental, groceries, restaurants and really anything one needs. The car did not move much throughout the week except for shopping at the Outlets! Overall this was a great time!"
