The First Street beach is the location of Browns Restaurant and the Life Guard Station which provides First Aid, bathroom facilities, water fountain and a foot shower. Several restaurants(including the famous Island Grill), the Ocean City Tabernacle and the St. Frances Cabrini Church are all within a four block walk. Less than two blocks away are a deli, two ice cream parlors and two pizza shops. You can literally park your car for the week unless you care to take the 20 minute drive to Atlantic City.
