We believe that our Indian Home is one of the best beach vacation rental homes in Fenwick island. Our architect designed and we built the home in 2007 to comfortably accommodate multiple families and this beach home has the amenities, beds, showers, state-of-art kitchen, pool, hot tub and open space to provide the essentials that a large group of people need to have for a wonderful.
Your Group Will Surely Have Fun When They Stay in this Rental Home-
It has a private pool and hot tub and, in a mere, one minute walk you are at the beach. You can swim all day in the ocean and return to the heated pool (extra fee for heat) for a dip before dinner. The pool and hot tub deck is a generous size making it a perfect spot for all of your guests to hang out or to dine. Additionally, the home has a 44 in plasma TV, 4 additional TVs/DVD players and WIFI. It has a den on the ground level with a LCD TV - far enough away from the top floor that kids and adults can hoot and holler without bothering the less "expressive guests."
Use our 4 bikes to explore the "island" and to go to Kohr's for a delicious custard cone, pick up the morning paper, bagels and/or donuts, or just enjoy being mobile. Within easy walking distance are many restaurants (one a James Beard award winner), coffee shops, book and clothing shops, 3 mini golf courses, water slide and go cart track. The town hall (3 blocks away) has a great playground for children, a basketball half-court, and a shuffle board court and a picnic area. There are two local kayak touring companies that specialize in surf and eco adventures. Plus, an large amusement park is just a few miles away as well as two boardwalks, and the Freeman Stage entertainment venue (there is a blog post on the Freeman Stage) And for the off season, we have a see-through gas fireplace, cozy sofa blankets and tear-jerking old DVD movies.
The Quiet, Un-Crowded Beach of Fenwick Island-
The Fenwick guarded beach is a one minute walk from the house. It is amazingly less crowded and quiet compared to the beaches in Ocean City and Bethany Beach-typically Fenwick's beach has 70% less people on it than those beaches. To transport your stuff to the beach we supply a red wagon and 2 Wonder Wheel Beach Caddies to carry your beach gear, munchies and drinks. The Fenwick beach was replenished in the fall of 2014 so it is extremely wide unlike Bethany's beach. Accommodating Your Large Group-
This Fenwick Island, Delaware beach vacation rental home is perfect for families with young children or groups of friends; the home features walk-in showers, a soaking tub, and shower/tubs, two of which are in Jack-and-Jill (with shared toilet) bathrooms; one master suite with a king bed; one master suite with a king and twin bed; one master suite with a king bed and a set of bunks; one junior master suite with a queen-size bed; and another bedroom with one queen-size bed. Also there is a TV room with a queen sleeper sofa and two single futons. You can see 2D floor plans of the home with bed sizes in our photo slide show.
Designed for large groups, the Chef's Kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals for large groups. It has 2 sinks and 2 refrigerators, another refrigerator downstairs, and on the deck are 2 BBQs. You can eat in the dining room, the kitchen bar, and/or, the front deck with a panoramic view of the water. To support your evening al fresco dinner party on the deck, we have seating for 16 and will "order you up" a spectacular sunset.

More Fun -
Two companies in the Fenwick area, Delmarva Sport Adventures and Coastal Kayak, offer Eco kayak tours by as well as lessons to surf the waves in a kayak.
A 30 minute ride from the home takes you to Rehoboth Beach-the town is much larger than Bethany and Fenwick and boasts many shopping and dining options, and a three mile boardwalk, and an amusement park. There are also fabulous sales tax-free outlet shopping at 140 Outlet stores. In minutes you can get to Ocean City with a long boardwalk with a large amusement park and many more restaurants, bars and shops. A 15 minute ride takes you to the Freeman stage for top talent entertainment (see blog). A 5 minute walk takes you to the Sea Discover Museum which houses artifacts from sunken ships in the area. If you are lucky they will bring out a 50 pound gold "necklace" found in a sunken Spanish ship. You can visit Lewes, smaller than Rehoboth but a good day trip...very quaint.
You can take a fishing charter out at the Indian River marina for a half or full day. And a 5 minute ride takes you across the bay where you can rent a boat or jet skis.

Rental is Subject to receiving a Signed Lease Agreement which will be sent to you upon confirmation of your booking. If contract is not signed and returned within 48 hours reservation will be cancelled.

RESORT POINTE, LLC: The Owner and Tenant agree as follows: Above Tenant is an adult and over the age of 25 years that will be an occupant of the unit during the entire reserved period. Other occupants will be family member, friends or responsible adults. Use of the premises will be denied to persons not falling within the foregoing categories, and as a result they would have to vacate the property immediately without any refund. No keys will be issued to anyone who is not an adult.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: The security deposit is $1,000 for these homes. The security deposit is due when reservation is placed to hold your dates. Your security deposit is fully refundable and will be returned to Tenant within 14 days of termination of occupancy provided that real and personal property are in the same condition as when occupancy commenced and all terms of this agreement are met. Tenant is liable for all replacements, repairs and cost of repair oversight that are caused by Tenant's and/or his/her guest's occupancy and are outside what is considered normal wear and tear.
CANCELLATION: Should you wish to cancel this reservation for any reason (including bad weather, illness, death, or economic factors) notice of cancellation MUST BE IN WRITING. We will attempt to rent the house and if successful, we will refund the sums you have paid, less a $250 cancellation fee. If we can rent the house, but at a lower amount, you will be liable for the difference between your weekly rental fee and the new, lower, rental fee and the cancellation fee. If we do not rent the house, and you have paid in full, then we will keep the funds you have paid and return the security deposit. If you have not paid in full, then we will keep all funds paid up to the cost of the rental. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR INCLEMENT WEATHER, INCLUDING HURRICANCES, MANDATORY EVACUATIONS, OR STATES OF EMERGENCY.
REFUND POLICIES AND TRIP CANCELLATION AND INTERRUPTION Vacation properties are often booked many months in advance and the property will be held for your use during your trip. When the property is being held for you, it obviously cannot be rented to someone else. Therefore, like cruise, tour packages and airline tickets, when booking/reserving a vacation rental home, you will need to make a full payment upfront in order to hold the property. Normally, this is not a problem, BUT if you have to cancel your trip (especially at the last minute), you should know that you can forfeit a portion or all of your rental fees. There are ways to protect yourself however - FIRST: Make sure you understand our cancellation policy and SECOND: Consider purchasing Trip Cancellation Insurance for added protection. If you have to cancel your vacation rental trip, are you eligible for a refund? Again, please read our cancellation policy. Usually the more notice that you are able to give, the better the chance that the property can be re-rented and the more likely that you will be able to secure a partial or a complete refund (less the cancellation fee). For additional protection, we recommend that you purchase the Trip Cancellation Insurance. There are many different types of trip insurance available but Trip Cancellation and Interruption protection is the most important benefit you should look for. If your trip has to be cancelled for covered reasons such as illness, accident, death of a family member or traveling companion, jury duty, weather conditions which cause delay/cancellation of travel or fire or flood in your home, this coverage protects your investment and will reimburse the normally non-refundable payments you make for your vacation rental, airline tickets and other covered travel related fees. If you miss your planned departure for a covered reason, you may also be covered for additional travel expenses to reach your destination. If you have to interrupt a trip due to a covered illness, this insurance will cover your transportation home.
CHECK IN: Check in time is 3pm. Keys will be ready for pick up at property location. Keys WILL NOT be issued with a balance owing or without a signed rental agreement in the owners, or owner's representatives, possession. Upon your arrival please see our rental information bulletin board for important information that you need during your stay. This is also where you will find extra keys.
CHECK OUT: Check out time is 10:00am. Please note that our cleaners clean many houses in the short time between the check in and checkout time. Any delay puts them behind in a very tight time schedule, and the renter coming to the house after you may be delayed in starting their vacation. Therefore, it is very important that you are out of the house by 10:00am. A $100 per hour fee will be charged for each hour (or portion thereof) past the required check out time that you leave the house. Please leave all keys, remote controls and parking permits/passes (if issued) at the location and a $50.00 per item fee will be charged for each lost key and remote control and a $100 per parking permit/pass fee will be charged for each permit/pass not returned.
CLEANING: Each property will be inspected, sanitized and cleaned after your departure. The rental fee you have paid will provide for four hours of normal cleaning so that you can enjoy your vacation up to the last moment. YOU ARE REQUIRED to leave the property in the same general condition that you received it by making sure, dishes are done and put away, trash taken outside, and the home is generally picked up and ready to be vacuumed, dusted and sanitized. If additional cleaning is required, appropriate charges will be deducted from your security deposit at the rate of $100 per hour. Our cleaners do not clean BBQs so you should leave it in a clean condition.
WHAT WE SUPPLY: The property is equipped and set up as a fully furnished property that will include blankets, pillows, as well as a fully equipped kitchen, TVs, furnishings, BBQ grill, and outdoor furniture. THERE WILL BE EXTRA CHARGES TO YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT FOR REPLACING THESE
ITEMS IF FOUND TO BE NECESSARY DUE TO TENANT'S AND/OR HIS/HER GUEST'S OCCUPANCY.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING (WE DO NOT PROVIDE LINENS): Personal toiletries, paper products, soap, bed linens, towels, and beach chairs suntan lotion, bug spray. You can rent all the linens, towels and beach chairs, cribs etc., and have them at the house before you arrive for your vacation.
RENTERS RESPONSIBILITIES: You are renting a large house with many items that can stop working or need attention. We will take care of all of the complex and time consuming tasks, but ask that you do two things: When a light bulb burns out, please replace it and to clean the BBQ after you grille so it is clean for the next renter. All trash must be in tied garbage bags and placed in the trash cans INSIDE of the trash container box. Trash outside of the box may result in a fine, in which case you would be liable for this. In Fenwick, you can recycle at the Fenwick Township Building, 800 Coastal Hwy., on Rt. 1. Fenwick trash is picked up on Mondays and Thursdays.
TENANTS LIABILITY: Tenant agrees to accept liability for any damages caused to the property (other than normal wear and tear) by Tenant or Tenants guests, including, but not limited to, landscaping, misuse of appliances, and/or equipment furnished. If damages are in excess of the security deposit being held, Tenant agrees to pay Resort Pointe, LLC for costs incurred to repair/replace damaged items, and/or Resort Pointe, LLC will charge your credit card on file. Tenant will also be liable for any fines assessed during your stay due to tenant's and/or his/her guest's occupancy.
SLEEPING CAPACITY/DISTURBANCES: Fenwick Island is called the Quiet Resort and the local police enforce this. Therefore, tenants and all other occupants will be required to vacate the premises and forfeit the rental fee and security deposit for any of the following: A. Occupancy exceeding the sleeping capacity stated on the reservation confirmation/ordinance. B. Using the premises for any illegal activity including, but not limited to, the possession, serving or consumption of alcoholic beverages by or to persons less than 21 years of age. C. Causing damage to the premises rented or to any of the neighboring properties. D. Any other acts which interferes with neighbors' right to quiet enjoyment of their property
HOLD HARMLESS: RESORT POINTE CUSTOM HOMES does not assume any liability for loss, damage or injury to persons or their personal property. Neither do we accept liability for any inconvenience arising from any temporary, unforeseen defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, electricity or plumbing. Nor will Resort Pointe, LLC accept liability for any loss or damage caused by weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, or other reasons beyond its control.
SWIMMING POOLS & PATIOS: Tenant hereby acknowledges that if the property they have reserved includes a Pool, the undersigned is fully aware that the Swimming Pool and surrounding patio/deck can be dangerous, that the deck/patio can be slippery when wet, and that injury is likely to occur to anyone who is not careful. Tenants should observe and adhere to all rules and policies as posted at the property. With full knowledge of the above facts and warnings, the undersigned accepts and assumes all risks involved in or related to the use by tenant and/or his/her guests of the swimming pool and patio areas. The pool is an average size and will need water added to it at least twice during your stay. By not doing so will cause the filtration and chlorination to fail, and the pool to turn green. Further, entering the pool with lotion or sand on bodies can cause the pool to turn green also. We clean the pool once a week on Saturday before you arrive for your vacation and strongly request you do your part to keep the pool from being contaminated and low on water. Off-Season our pool is not open until mid May and closes mid October.
HEATED POOLS (Fees $560.00 weekly or $80.00 daily): There are several things you must observe in order to maintain a comfortable temperature. The water level MUST be maintained. Failure to keep the proper level of water in the pool will result in the heater shutting off automatically as a safety measure. Additionally, once the heater turns off due to low water level it can only be turned on by a certified technician. Please be aware, these pools are not HOT TUBS and the average MAXIMUM temperature of a heated pool is 80 to 85 degrees.
For food and entertainment, we are within walking distance of many restaurants, coffee shops, go cart track, water slide, movie theater, Fishers popcorn and various stores. You can take guided local tours in kayaks, and there great biking in the area. Pluse there is an amusement park a few miles away as well as two boardwalks. Private pool, hot tub, 5 bikes, WIFI, only close to the beach, many restaurants, coffee shops, stores within walking distance, local tours in kayaks, and great biking in the area.
