Great location for beach and parking! And room is enough space for 4 people. There is a lot of amenities such as body lotion ,washing powder, hunger, beach chair. Despite checking in advance, there was only one hair dryer. I contacted the staff and went to pick it up in another room, but twice they couldn't get it."

"Wonderfully located across toddler friendly beach!
We had an amazing experience with our vacation rental in Waikiki. The condo is right next to the McDonald’s and conveniently near all the shops and stores. Really cannot beat the location especially when there’s a calm and pristine beach right across the street. Honestly easier than staying at some resorts which will require you to walk all the way through resort property before arriving to beach (even for some ocean front properties). The free valet parking made it so convenient when we did have to drive (rarely). The condo layout is great for families and the AC was quite strong. We had to leave it off some nights. Valet staff is courteous and speedy, and our host/cohosting staff is friendly and very helpful as well. Lastly, the patio with ocean views made our trip very memorable. One of our favorite parts of the trip included cooking meals and eating together as a family on this beautiful patio. Thank you Captain Cook for making our trip a wonderful experience! Highly recommend!"

"Waikiki Ocean View
Family of 5 adults stayed very comfortably in this ocean side, ocean view beach tower.
This condo had everything we needed, and was in walking distance to many restaurants, and amenities. It also included on site valet parking which was very much appreciated.
The property was clean in good general condition, and was safe and clean.
Reservation, check-in and check-out were a breeze and personalized assistance was available at any time should you need it. "

"Great location with easy access to Honolulu neighborhoods
The location was ideal for the family with easy driving access in and out of Waikiki. The circle building in the front blocks the view a lot more than the pictures indicate. We appreciated the extra portable beds besides the sofa bed. However, there is no beach toys/ boogie boards other than two old beach chairs (most other beach front condos have some beach toys). The interior of the unit needs a bit of updating but for a vacation it was ok. The pool deck was clean and spacious although the pool itself was small. It was never crowded and the pool was heated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. "

"Location, location, location!
We all loved this place. The view and location were amazing! This was the reason we chose this place, and it certainly didn't disappoint. It's a little dated and the window seals need replacing. We had high wind warnings when we stayed and the noise from the wind in the apartment was very loud. But it didn't matter, and I am sure you wouldn't notice this under normal weather conditions. Super glad we chose this place; we got lots of use out of the pool and spa too! Would recommend Me BBQ for a cheap breakfast just around the corner."

"Lovely View
The rental was is a great location with a terrific view. The property manager Byron Wickard did a good job with taking care of the maintenance problems of this very neglected unit. The list of problems is unfortunately quite long and a we’re very troublesome. There was black mold on the hall bathroom wallpaper, the television gave a lot of problems because of it’s age, the refrigerator door was loose, the two patio door were almost impossible to slide and stuck at time and had no workable locks, the bathroom faucet was leaking, and the sink stopper was stuck in a locked position making it very difficult to release the water. Overall the furniture is quite shabby and marked and needs changing. The cleaning crew did a good job preparing
the condo and beds. The owners needs to get this unit up to the level of the cost of renting it. I was disappointed with the condition of the unit and embarrassed for my guests. I would not rent in this building again without a physical check of the new rental. "

"Two Bed apartment Waikiki
This was a spacious apartment with two decent size bedrooms with many bed configurations. It's at the far end of Waikiki, away from the main shopping areas and restaurants and bars. It's quite dated. The main bedroom bed had a piece of sponge under eh bed to try to improve its comfort. It failed miserably. The bed is ancient and should be replaced.
The apartment block lacks hotel facilities. The view is reasonably good apart from a shorter hotel in front of the Beach Tower. This hotel disrupts a perfect view.
The owner is trying to sell the unit and we were asked to vacate for a day. There was no recompense for the inconvenience.
We had friends on holiday with us who stayed at the other end of Waikiki. They paid half the cost of this for a 1-bed room. In hindsight, two interconnecting rooms would have served us better.
This unit is just too dated.
The communication from Captain Cook was poor. They advised we needed to store luggage off-site before our room was available. This came at a cost. You can actually leave your luggage with the apartment staff for no cost whilst your room is prepared.

"Good, but could use some updates
The location was top notch. Excellent view, a few steps from Waikiki Beach... The room was functional. Beds were comfortable, better than most we've used on vacation. But the windows are single pane and let in a LOT of noise (wind, cars, pedestrians). In the master bedroom two of the windows have plastic blinds, which makes the room VERY bright. They NEED black out curtains of some kind. The kitchen worked well, a few appliances have seen better days. A few lighting hiccups here and there. The main door in and out of the room is HEAVY. Like, if you are older you might have trouble operating it. The sliding glass door gets hung up in one spot and is pretty difficult to move. Same thing, I could see people struggling here. A few of the bathroom items like the towel hangers and the edging on the countertops are about to fall off.
Overall, pleased with the room and accomodations. Just needs some touching up."

Our family of 4 stayed a week at Waikiki Beach Tower #1904 for our 1st family trip to Hawaii. Everything matched expectations, great location (views...), extra free valet, pool deck, ... expect low rating on Maintenance (2 of 5). The 2nd A/C unit in living room kitchen area was non-functional. Had to crank bedrooms A/C to balance, making bedrooms too cold. Luckily wasn't too hot so able to open patio doors a lot. This A/C unit should have been known and repaired beforehand."

"The best vacation experience ever!
The moment we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly staff at the valet and front desk. They were very helpful. The instructions to check in from Byron were easy to understand and it went smoothly. The tower was located right across the Waikiki Beach and it was close to the stores and amazing restaurants.The place is incredibly clean and the view is breathtaking. My family and I were amazed with how beautiful the unit was. The kitchen is furnished and it had everything we need to cook our meals. We also found 4 beach chairs for us to use. We could also rent beach towels located by the valet booth area, going towards the beach. Overall experience was amazing and we were very satisfied. We would definitely comeback here and recommend this place to our family and friends."

"Great view!
The rental had everything we needed and more. It was equipped with a washer/dryer, dishes,beach chairs. The ocean view was everything!! The only problem was the tv in the bedroom with twin beds did not have a cable box hooked to it, so although there was a TV in the room, you couldn't watch it. Also, the microwave would only work using the 30sec button. Valet parking guys were SUPER!!!!!! Always pleasant and they get your vehicle to you so fast! We loved our stay and will definitely book again in the future!"

Loved this place , exactly as you see in the photos for the condo ! Great location with a fantastic view of the beach and ocean. Nice big condo, new carpet , lots of extras and everything worked fine ! The pool , gym , bbq area and waiting room on the 4th floor is nice place to get away from all the rush of Waikiki and relax . "Nice room and view
The room was very clean and tastefully appointed. The maintenance people turned off the water at the bar due to a plumbing problem and they also had to secure the back porch door to the balcony with a screw since the door handle was damaged...thank goodness for the second entrance tot the balcony. Overall, a nice room with a very useful washer and dryer. This in itself was a life saver and lowered the amount of clothing that needed to be packed for the vacation."

初めての利用で最初は不安だらけでした。
本当に予約が上手くとれてるのかとか、行ってみたが物件がなかったらどうしようとか、英語ができないので余計に不安がいっぱいでした。
しかし、質問メールにも親切に答えて頂き当日のチェックインも、チェックアウトもとてもスムーズでした。
お部屋も清潔で、キッチン用品も日本で使うものがほぼ揃っているので、お料理もこまりませんでした。
部屋からの眺めも最高に良かったです。
目の前のワイキキビーチに入って、帰りにホテルのプールに入って子供達は毎日楽しんでいました。

Very enjoyable stay at unit 1904. Very beautiful view with enough room for all of us. Not to complain but the unit does need some work such as the sliding glass doors to the balcony (lanai) which were hard to open and noisy and the noisy air conditioner upon starting the unit. Other than those two issues the condo was very nice. "

"Convenient Condo - Bit Dated...
Stayed for 6 nights in Feb. This condo has a lot going for it - great location and views, well equipped kitchen, decent washer/dryer, fast internet. The tower has a great modern gym. I reiterate, you can't beat the location, when you walk out the front door of the tower you are right on the strip. The condo is large and comfortable. Beach chairs and towels are provided and a few basic necessities in the kitchen. The condo manager is on hand and very helpful.
That said, I couldn't get past the feeling of walking into your grandmother's house. The condo is so dated and a little run down. Lots of wood everywhere, a bit dingy, old appliances in the kitchen, cabinets in a state of disrepair. I can only assume it is all original. Full wall mirror in the living room. Classy. While the condo was clean, thank you, the carpet is in a sorry state. The bathrooms are perfectly fine, but again, think of old shower heads, worn shower curtains, art deco toilets. Sadly I was underwhelmed, but perhaps this is the trade off for the location. For the price per night I had higher expectations. Compare options wisely.
Some great restaurants within walking distance include Ocean House, Duke's, Hula Grill, Doraku Izakaya, Arancino di Mare. We sailed the Holokai, which was great. Captain Tiger's bottom fishing tour was OK, but then you get what you pay for (only $60). Be sure to visit other, less crowded, beaches around the island. Diamond Head and Manoa Falls are worth a visit, as is Ko Olina."

"Great Condo Location in Waikiki
This condo has a fantastic location with an unobstructed view of the ocean. It is across the street from the beach and walking distance to almost all of the Waikiki restaurants and shops - as well as the Aquarium and parks. The only drawback now is the construction of a new hotel (or renovation) outside your balcony. The construction noise during the day is relentless and loud. Evenings and weekends are great though. "

We are very familiar with the Waikiki Beach Tower but this was the first time we rented through Captain Cook Real Estate. Byron was wonderful, very nice and helpful but I just wish our unit was a little better cared for - one of the lamps in the living room had a dead bulb, the carpet needed shampooing and our front door handle fell off on the second day. Also, there was construction/renovations going on our floor so it was a noisy and very dusty."

Excellent location, plenty of room wonderful view, (except for giant yellow crane next door), and very quiet. Kitchen was perfect with a fabulous ocean view to help wash the dishes. "Excellent Location, Large Condo but URGENT MAKEOVER Required
Positives:
*Location and Size of Condo were Excellent
*King bed in master bedroom very comfortable
Negatives:
*Mould on rubber seals inside washing machine often requiring clothes to be washed more than once.
*Outdoor chairs cleverly covered with cushions to disguise their sag when you sit on them. If a very heavy person sits on these chairs, the seat straps will snap and could cause injury to the person.
*Aircon is very inefficient.
*Wardrobe in 2nd bedroom stuffed with foldaway bed so you can't hang shirts or dresses for that matter. Too hard to move it out so had to use wardrobe in master bedroom.
*The decor in general is extremely old. Probably hasn't had a makeover in at least 10 years. Especially the OLD bathrooms. The photos must have been taken a very long long time ago.
*Large balcony door is extremely stiff & can be hard to open.
*Some cupboards are hanging off their hinges. Bedroom sliding wardrobes are missing the handles.
*One of the shelves in the cupboard in the kitchen where the plates are collapsed it is so poorly constructed. We fixed it and luckily there were no breakages.
*Dust behind the beds caused endless sneezing in the bedrooms.
*Hairdryer is as old as the last makeover.
*Photos advertising the property look much better than what it really is like."

We all loved staying here on our family holiday to Hawaii.
We have stayed at many different resorts in Waikiki and especially loved staying here at Waikiki Beach Tower due to the fact that there was a kitchen for us to cook...and the location is excellent too as it's just across the road from the beach where the lagoon is, and right next door to McDonalds!
A big thank you to Byron who was very easy going and explained everything to us and even let us have a late check out.
We all especially loved the new renovation that was done in the outdoor pool area - absolutely gorgeous!! Loved the BBQ area and mini fridges that were there - made our stay perfect! The pool and hot spa were wonderful too."

"Absolutely breathtaking!
I honestly can't imagine a better place for our family to have stayed. The photos -- already spectacular -- don't do this condo justice. There were six of us: my husband, me, and our four kids ages 16, 14, 12, and 10. The condo was spacious and spotless and at the same time relaxing and inviting. Location was perfect. We had planned to have two kids sleep on the pull-out couch but were delighted to find a roll-away bed in the master bedroom closet. Having two bathrooms made our stay so easy. The master bathroom closet had all the beach equipment we needed and I was so grateful because we didn't have to rent boogie boards, snorkels or beach chairs. Plenty of towels and generous supply of laundry and dish detergent etc., which we found very thoughtful since we were flying in and could not bring these items with us. Sunsets were spectacular. Lots of food options within walking distance. I can't think of one thing about our stay that wasn't perfect. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for memories that will last me the rest of my life."

The location and views were excellent. The new fitness and water sports area is very nice. Staff were courteous and accommodating and helpful with area attractions, restaurants etc. The entry keypad was a big plus for our group. The condo could use some upgrading as it felt a little long in the tooth. It was clean, although there was some mold in the washer. Would we stay in this unit again? **** right we would!"

The condo is in a great location. We were in walking distance from all the great shopping and restaurants locations in Waikiki. The view was amazing! Gorgeous sunsets daily. We also loved the beach across the street. The condo also came with beach chairs, convenient kitchen with large refrigerator, and all the comforts of home. This place is perfect! We could go down to the main floor and just walk out to the crosswalk and cross over to where the kids would surf. location was the best. As far as the place itself we loved not using a key, the keypad was nice. It was clean and had everything we needed for the 5 of us. An added bonus was the beach chairs and umbrella and the snorkel gear. We liked that there was a pool and Jacuzzi and great restrooms there. We would stay again because it was everything we could ask for. We were met at the place by a very nice man and shown the room while the bellman brought up our things. Overall a wonderful place to stay while in Waikiki."

We were a party of 4 friends visiting Hawaii for the first time. We rented apartment No 1904 - at this level we had great views (not blocked at all by the building in front). The location was fabulous... nearby to many popular bars and restaurants, handy to pick-up location for day tours etc. A convenience store right next door. The doorman/staff were very helpful and always friendly. The apartment had everything we needed, even chairs/umbrellas/snorkeling gear for the beach. We loved it! Just high enough above the round tower in front to not be annoying. Having a rep meet you upon arrival is a nice touch. The unit is well equipped with just about everything you could need on a vacation from towels to beach chairs to laundry detergent. I would never consider staying in a standard hotel room after enjoying this. The unit was overall clean, but the only reason I dont give it 5 stars across the board, was that the carpet was pretty filthy. This was a major detractor to the overall comfort level, especially with a baby rolling around on the floor. Surprising that since the rest of the unit is so nice, they don't take a carpet shampooer to it occasionally. Other than that, a great place & company."

Place is stocked with all basic needs. Chairs for Beach were awesome. The air mattress has multiple holes and we called Byron and he brought a new one over and installed while we were gone. Great customer service. Use vallet because parking stall is inconvenient expecially with groceries. The guys will pack it up and in your room for you they are all really nice. We will definitely be back to book through captain cook .the unit is very clean starting to show it's age a little,but was still nice enough. I would say this floor was perfect height too. Great view. Couldn't really see the fireworks though. Keep that in mind. "

"Awesome Waikiki Beach Experience
#1904 was everything and more we had hoped for.
We travelled with our 2 young adult children and this condo was well setup and very spacious with 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms. It even had extras like beach chairs etc.
Loved how the bedrooms were at back of Condo away from any street noise with living areas and large balcony allowing for the specular views over Waikiki Beach.
#1904 has really good security, excellent access down from 19th floor out across road and onto the beach and is a great location to allow walking to shopping and restaurants.
We hired a car for some of our stay and there was car parking included as well as free WiFi which is a bonus.
Just one comment we found when showering sometimes you need to allow water to run for a while to get the hot water to come through.
Would highly recommend #1904."

We were 3 adults and 2 kids. The living space was great/large etc. The second bedroom had 2 single beds and a roller way for the third person. It would only be suitable for a child as very soft. We didn't use the lounge sofa bed as we used the lounge at night.
Lots of things you need for the beach and all clean and nice.
Pool is basic but you are right over the road from the amazing beach."

Overall, we were happy with the unit. Location was key and this was a great location. Byron was helpful and got us more beach chairs as requested. My biggest complaint was the air conditioning. The bedrooms were impossible to get cool.We all felt it was uncomfortably warm in the bedrooms. There was also mold on the rubber rim of the washing machine as well as an odor when it was opened. I have a similar washing machine and the door needs to stay opened to prevent odor and mold. "

Property description was accurate, except for no long distance phone service. It was clean and well maintained and kitchen and bathroom items were plentiful.
The manager of Captain Cook did an excellent job and was very responsive to any need.
I would recommend Captain Cook to anyone.
Restaurants enjoyed were La Mer, Hys, Beachcomber at the Halekulani.
Activities included touring the whole island as well as Museums, the Dole Plantation, Doris Duke's home and walks on the main boulevard by the ocean."

We got a rental car, then called our contact person who greeted & escorted to us to the room. He explained details about the condo & left us a card with his info in case we had any issues, but we didn't need to use it. He introduced us to the valet staff, who were so nice and later were very helpful with getting us taxi service, directions & recommendations. I have recently spent 10 nights at this apartment with my husband, mother and brother. The apartment was all I was expecting from information provided by Captain Cook Real Estate. It was comfortable, roomy, clean and tastefully decorated island style. The safe was not working, not an issue for us; and the outdoor chairs which we spent a lot of time on when in the apartment were the only downfall. New chairs should be a priority for this perfectly positioned two bedroom apartment. This was our 5th trip to Waikiki and we had previously stayed in hotel rooms in a hotel next door. After our six night stay we have nothing but great things to say about Captain Cook Real Estate and the unit we rented! Everything was as advertised on their web site. All of our communications with their staff were friendly and helpful. The unit was well stocked and had plenty of room for six adults. The grocery store (located just a few blocks away) had everything we wanted for the kitchen, with smaller convenience stores located even closer.

This was all that I was hoping for. The view is beautiful from the moment you walk in the door. The location was perfect for our family of 6 with ages from 11 to 57. The property provided all the basic amenities we required and has an excellent beachside location for exploring the Waikiki/Honolulu area. The view is not as good as from the 02/03 suites.
The unit is outdated in terms of decor and furnishings, and the carpeting makes it difficult keep clean. However, it was well maintained and all basic provisions and services were included, especially for the beach.
The property could be greatly improved with wood or tile floors. Without this, I would hesitate to recommend it to others.
Even so, we really enjoyed our stay.

The location was great, easy access to all restaurants and shopping, transport, etc. Right opposite the beach and fabulous views over the ocean. We would definitely recommend it to others and it will be on our list for any future visits to Hawaii. Dealings with staff at Captain Cook were excellent also, friendly and helpful. We had a great family holiday to Waikiki. Apartment was in a perfect location for shopping, restaurants and the beach. Although well cared for, a kitchen update would be great and the plates/mugs etc replaced. Apartment was clean and spacious. Fantastic to have beach towels and chairs included and the kids loved the sand equipment!
Paul from Captain Cook was fabulous and met us at the Apartment upon our arrival. We did not need to contact him during our stay.

It was my second visit to the Beach Tower, so I knew what to expect. (My first stay was on the 33rd floor). Yes, the view, while good, was a bit marred by the circle hotel. The condo was very clean and well furnished. Kitchen was well equipped and I really appreciated the new, still wrapped sponge! Check in and out was smooth. I look forward to visiting again."

"Champagne and Sunsets...What a View...!
Right from the first enquiry, our booking was handled in a friendly, professional manner. We travelled as a family with our 2 teenage sons. We wanted to be central, and we all needed our own space. Paul was waiting at the Apartment when we arrived, and took us up. WOW...the first thing you notice when you walk in is the fantastic view. This apartment is on the corner, so you have both ocean front and city views..both views are impressive..nothing beats the ocean front, however the city view at night was gorgeous. Pity about the Circle Hotel in front, but we tended to look past it...
The Apartment is spacious, and the furnishing is to a high quality. It was very clean, and had all the amenities. We were very happy.
The boys could go to the beach, and we could watch them from the 19th floor..We were able to walk everywhere...even to Ala Moana. It was always lovely to come "home" at the end of the day, and sit on the balcony, champagne in hand, and watch the glorious sunsets. I think I have 100 photos of the sunsets..!
We had the best holiday, and cant wait to come back
We would certainly book here again, and have already recommended the apartment to friends and family.

If you are looking for a good middle-class value, then 1904 Waikiki Beach Tower is for you. This unit offers 3 to 4x the square footage of your typical hotel room, a separate bedroom for the kids, a full kitchen (so you can offset some cost with home meals), is located across the street from Waikiki Beach park and has a good view. The best part of my trip was breakfast on the balcony overlooking Waikiki beach. The unit is clean, insect free, and has all the amenities we needed. We almost didn't rent this place because the furniture is not as attractive as more expensive units, but it is functional and comfortable. The assigned parking space is a big help. Since the unit is on the 19th floor, you balance view with not spending the entire day on the elevators. The view is partially blocked by the Waikiki Circle Hotel, but this is not a huge detriment. You can rent a unit from Aston with better furniture and twice-daily maid service (this unit does not include maid service), but you will pay much, much more. [Aston offers a free view upgrade if available on check-in, but guess what? They were sold out during our week so I doubt if they need to provide that often.] We reported one minor maintenance item to be addressed after we left. We also reported that the MBR AC unit rumbled, possibly due to a bad bearing, and it should be serviced before summer. The MBR nightstands and 2nd BR dresser are 2 star quality, not befitting this unit, but functional and should not impact your decision. The MBR bath floor tile has just been replaced, so the owner is upgrading the unit over time. The WBT staff was wonderful. The WBT pool and hot tub were nice, but the paddleball court is closed. To summarize our experience, we found 1904 Waikiki Beach Tower to be spacious, comfortable and a major contributor to a very nice vacation."

"Wonderful Stay at Waikiki Beach Tower
The condo was spacious, comfortable, clean, and the view was magnificent. The view was so great that we didn't mind having the roof of the Circle Hotel in the viewing area. We enjoyed sitting in the living room or on the lanai watching surfers and ships go by. After a day of shopping and sightseeing, it was wonderful to come back "home" to relax and have a glass of wine. This is one of the best vacations we have ever had and we are talking about coming back and staying at the Waikiki Beach Tower. My mother said that I couldn't have picked a more perfect condo. The building staff and Captain Cook staff were wonderful! Only negative was that the master bathroom tub drained slowly."
