Unit 430 is a beautiful condo with all the updates you could want. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom showers are so nice, and the balcony is spacious. If you have the opportunity, definitely rent this unit. You will not be disappointed "

"Broken elevator with no warning
When we arrived to our fourth floor condo the elevator was broken. We had to carry all of our luggage plus a toddler plus groceries up 9 flights of stairs. It was brutal and wore us out. Had we been in bad shape or older there is no way we could have even did it. The next day I contacted the management after hearing from another guest that the elevator had been down for a month. They told us that it would be fixed as soon as a part came in. The entire 7 day stay we had to go up and down 9 flights of stairs with our stuff. Had we been warned beforehand we would have booked a ground unit or stayed somewhere else. When it is 85 degrees, carrying a toddler up and down stairs is not ideal. It was extremely aggravating. Also, the condo bathrooms need a good cleaning. The showers were disgusting with mildew."

Nice condo - updated and clean with a partial ocean view. Very close to Coligny Beach and amenities. Great pool and single level access to the beach, which was a plus when lugging beach gear, wagons and kids!"

"Highly Recommend
We loved the layout of the condo. The kitchen and bathrooms were updated nicely. The beds and furniture were comfortable. Lots of seating in the family room, and the dining table and barstools add to that. The patio was spacious and had a very nice view, fitting of the name of the condo. Our only concern was the grout in the showers could be cleaned better as well as the bathroom AC vents, which had lots of dust and some mildew. "

"Awesome vacation at Hilton Head
The condo is located in close proximity to Coligny Circle. We were able to walk to restaurants close by. Loved the view of the ocean from balcony. Condo has been nicely updated. Shorewood complex is well maintained. We loved having elevators and not having to lug heavy luggage upstairs. We would stay here again."

My wife, son and I desired a get-away that number 1. respected the CDC's recommendations for staying safe during this COVID-19 pandemic;
2. provided us with comfortable, modern housing and beautiful, oceanside, uncrowded beaches; and 3 offered excellent golfing packages; fine vegan and vegetarian dining and great shopping outlets. We got this with our stay! Outstanding...we now have a new tradition...visiting Hilton Head for the holidays. "

"Good for one time
Couldn't be helped but elevator was out for 3 days. Very difficult for 77 year old people. 64 steps! TV was VERY difficult to turn on even with owners instructions. Condo was nice, view was lovely"

We've been going to Hilton Head for many years, and this is one of the nicest condos we've stayed in. It has been recently updated, so everything looks fresh and clean. I love the tropical colors used and the view of the ocean was fantastic. I'll definitely want to stay at 430 Shorewood again!"

"Nice, clean condo!
Slice of Blue was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated condo. The beds slept comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans and utensils. The washer/dryer were a plus. The view from the balcony was wonderful. The pool and hot tub was relaxing for everyone. The location is within walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants and shops. Looking forward to our next stay!"

"Nice vacation rental experience.
Overall the rental experience was smooth, the location was perfect for us, and the condo was great! Our only concern is that the cleaning service is not paying attention to details. The unit is a beautiful renovation but will show wear quickly if the cleaning service doesn't start to focus on details of the condo."

So, so, so glad I found, not only 430 Shorewood, but Seashore Rentals as well on VRBO--Home Away. Seashore was absolutely a pleasure to work with, and 430 Shorewood was amazing!!! We frequently visit HHI and Shorewood Villas. I definitely plan to look up availability with this particular unit through Seashore in the future. Loved it!"

"Wonderful Vacation !!!
Shorewood 430 was a beautiful condo. It was centrally located to everything we wanted to do. It was clean, the pool and hot tub were beautiful. There was ample supplies, towels, even games, chairs, books, etc. The only thing I would have changed would be the checkout time. We had to be out by 10:00 AM. We thought that should be at least 12:00. Two hours longer would have made it better for us."

the pool was very dirty, hair, sand , bugs, and lots of people using rafts when it clearly states not allowed, showers from beach did not work for 2 days, they finally cleaned the pool on Wednesday which was better, the landscaping up front had lots of weeds and not kept, the people above us on the 5th floor had workers remodeling and cutting title and banging on the floor at 8am!!!! "

Shorewood 430 was a perfect experience! The condo is extremely well cared for and it's obvious that the owners are committed to providing a terrific place for guests. It was fully stocked with everything needed for guests, furnished beautifully, and extremely comfortable. The location is terrific, with a nice view and easy access to the pool and beach. It is also a great location on the island, with nothing more than a short drive away (or walk in some cases). We highly recommend this unit."

"Beautiful condo but had to endure construction.
Shorewood 430 is a beautiful place to stay for a vacation on Hilton Head. The condo is nicely updated, clean and has a nice ocean view from a distance. Unfortunately while we were renting over Easter week this year they were doing major roofing construction on this property. We were disappointed to have to listen to beeping trucks,dumpsters being filled and other construction noise. We would not have booked this condo if we had known. I feel like the higher vacation fee should not have been charged for a construction project on the building. "

"THE BEST vacay rental property in the South Forest Beach area!
We have enjoyed visiting Hilton Head, and this particular unit, for 3 years! It's our "go to" vacation condo because it offers us everything we love on vacation: breathtaking views from the wall of glass doors and from the bedroom windows including the blue ocean, palm trees, dune shrubbery, and white billowy clouds. The air conditioning works quietly to cool our souls; the kitchen has everything we need to prepare delicious meals; the bathrooms are very clean and spacious enough for the week. The condo offers too much more to mention here. You will not be disappointed should you decide to stay here."

"Bright and Spacious Unit
The unit was newly renovated and decorated with a lot of thought and care by the homes owners. This would be considered a 4-5 star rental unit in its current condition unfortunately the cleaning of the unit is not up to a professional standard in our opinion. We found the master bathroom not clean. The toilet, floor, floor mat, cabinet doors and taps had to be cleaned (buildup of soap scum) before we could use the room. Furniture and lamps are not beings dusted properly. We found very obvious spills, spots and crumbs in the kitchen and dining areas. The homeowners will have to start replacing items in less than a year if the unit is not cleaned and maintained better. The condo property was very well maintained and lots of available parking for cars and bikes. The pool area was beautiful."

Would have appreciated a full ocean view. Two bedrooms would have been tight for more than two people. Needed more storage and hanging space in master bedroom. We hung half our things in smaller bedroom and stored clothing on top of bed in smaller bedroom."

We had a very nice time riding bikes around the island, shopping, going to Savannah, out to eat, swimming in the pool and ocean. Viewing sunrises and sunsets from the beach or balcony. The condo is beautiful, they just redecorated it. It is very clean and has everything one could want or need."

Lovely unit...would definantly rent same again. The only improvements I would suggest would be to add a TV in the 2nd bedroom (make this a great unit for 2 couples). A blowdryer is needed in the bathroom. Otherwise we had a great stay . Lovely decor. Fully equipped kitchen. Home away from home!"

"SO DISAPPOINTED!!!!
Unfortunately, the condo that we stayed in was very FILTHY!!!! The furniture had BIG holes in it on BOTH sides of the cushions and was very dirty. The floors, rugs, tubs were dirty(BLACK). Mold is growing on the patio. Wash machine was broken.
We didnt expect to be in the lapse of luxury, but we certainly didnt expect to vacation in such an uncomfortable environment.
also, on the day that we were to check out, we had a young lady from housekeeping at the door at 7:55 A.M. asking us when we were leaving. UNACCEPTABLE!!! I'd like to be compensated in some way for what made our FAMILY VACATION very uncomfortable."

"Week at the beach.
We have stayed at this property before but not for the last six years. The location is terrific but the property itself has not been updated and it was worn. The sofa had no padding left in it and the trim was coming off. On Tues night of our week I noticed the air conditioning was not working. Called on Wed and was told it would be fixed and it was for about 6 hours and then it ws hot again. Called on thursday again and they finally fixed was very uncomfortable for two days and two nights."

Shorewood is a great place to vacation with an excellent exterior hot tub, pool, lots of parking, clean grounds, very courteous staff and very secure premises. I had a super 7 weeks during the winter and recommend it. The unit 430 is very comfortable and well situated although it would need a minor facelift it is spacious and functional. "Shorewood 430
We have used seashore several times over the past 10 years. This was one of the WORST units that we have ever been in. The carpet was beyond disgusting, the couch smelled, the clothes washer was worst than bad..I could continue on for days. Everyone at seashore is allways very nice and helpful, however, I am not sure we will use their services again. I would hope they would be more discriminating when renting units. "

"430 Shorewood Misty Sparks Stay
We have had great experiences, but this condo needed an update. The pull out bed was in very bad shape and the condo was a bit dirty when we checked in. Specifically, tubs and sinks had dirt in them. The Pool was fantastic and location made up for everything else lacking in the condo. I would stay at Shorewood again and I will continue to use Seashore Vacations, the staff there is Fantastic."

"Amazing time in Hilton Head at the Shorewood
The Shorewood exceeded all our expectations. The location was fabulous! The view was great and we totally lucked out with the weather. The place was huge! There were 4 of us (2 adults/2 kids) and 430 was perfect. My kids can't wait to go again next year and stay at the same place. The kitchen had everything that we needed. The place was very clean-the rugs had just been shampood. The kitchen is not updated, but we didn't care (some seem to) - it was a rental - everything worked. We went to Coligny Plaza several times and it was about a 5 minute walk - the place was very safe. The pool was awesome. The beach was great - having easy access to everything, just made the trip. Loved staying there - recommend to everyone."
