"Loved our stay!
We had a fabulous time and loved unit. The coin laundry is right out the door so that is extremely convenient. It is an older, a bit dated unit but it was very clean and nice. We would stay there again without reservation. It is not beach front but honestly that did not matter to us even though we normally stay in beach front units. Probably the best deal on a beach condo that you would be able to find. Also office staff at unit were Amazing and helpful!!!"

"Beach Vacation
Condo is right on the beach and very convenient to things. Unit was big and decorated nicely. Kitchen was well stocked and updated. Main bathroom is in need of an update. Toilet flushed only half the time. Moldy shower and floor grout was dirty. Master bedroom was nice and bathroom updated, however, shower had mold. Off bedrooms where very small and not conducive for three adults to share. Sofa bed was broken so they brought a single size air mattress that had a leak. If you have more that one vehicle Parking is a problem. We arrived Saturday office was not open for additional parking permit so Saturday and Sunday we had to find parking. We were told we could park across the street at Tiki Gardens for $12 a day. However, you have to go to the police department to receive your $12 a day pass and they’re only open Monday through Friday. On the weekend you can park at the tiki gardens for $2.50 per hour with no daily rate choice. Needless to say this was a large unexpected expense for parking during the weekend. The lady at the complex office was very helpful with the parking situation once she arrived Monday morning at 9:00. The laundry facilities are not in the condo and cost $4.00 in quarters per load. Unit listing could have been more detailed and truthful about parking and laundry."

"Holiday Villas II Room 206
Dishes were dirty all had to be run through the dishwasher to include silverware, dishes and cups and glasses. All pans had to be hand washed before using. The counter and sink were also not clean. Bedrooms and bathrooms were sufficient. I paid $175.00 cleaning fee and would like to be reimbursed for partial due to this. We were told the wrong wifi to connect to and the wrong password. We were told to reboot and call Spectrum. We called Spectrum and the correct user name and password was on the router in the living room totally different what we were instructed to use. "

"Great Family Friendly Condo
We really enjoyed our stay at Holiday Villas 2. The pool is large and heated, they have gas grills available, the beach is just steps away, and the unit we stayed in was very well stocked! It is surprisingly quiet for a condo and has plenty of space for a family of 5 plus grandpa and grandma! We would definitely come here again!"

"Birthday Stay
For a first time experience, it was great. Stepping out on the beach was exactly what we wanted. The two payment rental was great but I never received a reminder email about the second payment which frazzled me five days before we left for the condo. The condo was totally equiped and everthing worked well. Thank you to the Thurmans we loved your home."

"Fantastic location
The Holiday Villas II condo is located literally on the beautiful Indian Shores beach. It is also within an 1.5 hour drive from the Disney World, 1 hour drive from the Bush Gardens, and 3 hour drive from St. Augustine. The condo is very well kept, very functional, which makes the stay seamless and fun."

The location was great, the condo nice, however, the conditions of the stairways and hall require better maintenance and the elevator was difficult to use. My understanding is owners pay a monthly fee of approximately $500, however, I would expect better maintenance of the stairways and halls"

"Nice Stay
We had a nice stay at this spacious and well-laid out condo right on the beach. But some updates are needed. The pots and pans require replacement . They are old and completely worn out and very low quality. The door needs a chain lock up high to keep young children in the unit. The lock and door handle are easily manipulated - even by a two year old. The hall bath needs updating. With these improvements, it would make for a nicer stay. "

"Great price! No balcony and facing the street.
Stayed 2 weeks. Glad we did since we had a couple of days of clouds and one day of rain the rest the time was fantastic beautiful sunshine. The condo is more like an apartment with no balcony. It faces The street. Your view is of Tiki Gardens with a parking lot. However we booked it through the owner which saved us on the customer service charges going through the company. There is plenty of room with a king bed and one room a queen and single bed in second bedroom and a queen in the third bedroom. The kitchen and living area are nice the bathrooms need updating but are OK. It is on the second floor. If you stay Saturday and Sunday unfortunately A lot of people park in the parking lot across from the condo and come to the beach where there is a side entrance. There is a pool but it’s in the front and there is no Jacuzzi however there is a bathroom available if you need it by the pool. Everything takes a key or code for safety which is a bonus and a pain but I understand why they do it.FYI"

"Management NEEDS Customer Service Training
The condo itself was wonderful. However, DO NOT need any assistance from the ON SITE management. There were 5 of us and all 5 had negative encounters with them. They were the talk at the pool with other guests as well. They were rude, hateful and not at all any assistance. Additionally, the pool is located on the parking lot side of the condo NOT facing the beach. It is even hotter as there is NO breeze there. The place is locked down like Ft. Knox requiring various keys and codes to access anything including the bathroom once you are already in the pool area. And, you are provided MINIMAL keys for the amount of people (we had 2 keys for 5 guests). WE have stayed in Florida countless times and I WILL NEVER stay here again and recommend that you look elsewhere. There are many other places with more customer friendly, accommodating locations. So, my recommendation....look elsewhere."

The location was great. The unit was clean but had a very musty smell. It was also very dark inside the unit. The furniture was old but functional. The information stated there were two parking spots but actually there was only one available. The pool was also very small and there was no balcony. I would not stay here again. "

"Worst vacation experience in Florida EVER
I had no clue people live at vacation rentals. Every time new families brought their children, of course the children would be shouting with glee in excitement to be at the beach, well the residents would come out and go off on everyone to be silent, even called the police.That's not even half of how rude they are. I don't know how this can be advertised as a vacation rental. I paid extra to get the biggest condo, the stay was SOOOOO bad we had to leave early. I literally threw away money to get out of there, it was that bad. Management was aware how awful it was and still didn't offer any reimbursement. It wasn't really the waste of money that made me sad, it was the horrible experience my family had. I brought them all together, thought we'd have a good vacation and enjoy our time together since we only see each other every few years.I didn't bring small children with me and was still treated badly. At one point I got yelled at for talking to my husband on my cell phone. I am going to copy below the email from management so you can read in her words how bad it was.

I wanted to email and say thank you for staying with us and thank you for taking such good care of the Thurman’s condo. I know that this stay was a little strange (kind of an understatement I know) with the resident owners (and they love to butt in) but I hope it doesn’t put you off from staying with us in the future. We have other condominiums along our beaches and would love to have you all return as our guests.

"Gulf vacation
The condo was very nice. Spacious and well equipped. It did not face gulf but was on the gulf side of the road. The cleaning was adequate everywhere but in the master bedroom and bath."

"Disappointing
Condo was misrepresented. Have rented 2-3 sites/year and this in top 2 worst. No partial view (parking lot view only), no balcony as one was described in initial description, no where to hang damp towels or bathing suits, no window in bedroom, water was scalding hot or freezing most of time, most uncomfortable beds, kitchen was nice. Dining and living room spacious but need updated living furniture. Door is directly in front of elevator so when it's working there lots of noise Chose this because cheapest but could have gotten much better for little more. You get what you pay for. Lesson learned. Wish could say better. "
