"Disappointed
The accommodations were beautiful. However, I was very disillusioned with having insects, roaches, running around on top of the counter. Also the silverware drawer and garbage cupboard were dirty. It made my skin crawl. The tops of the furniture were barely dusted, the table top in the kitchen had dried milk on it. I just felt like I was dirty the whole time I was there. So so disappointed. The lock on the door had to be jimmied in order to use it. Now I will grant you, that the Exterminator was contacted and came out promptly. Also before the end of our stay, the lock was replaced on the door. I very much appreciated this however I’m sorry I had to complain about things in order to get things taken care of. I doubt they would ever stay here again or would ever recommend the Seagate to anyone. When I am paying what I believe is top dollar for a unit, I am expecting to have things to be clean and bug free. Thank you "

"STAIRS!
Our family vacation was great with some exceptions. The weather cooperated for the most part and the beach was beautiful as always (lots of seaweed in the ocean, however). The condo was well stocked and had plenty of room. One concern was the floors (I don’t think they had been mopped in a long time. Our feet were black the first evening after only being there for 3-4 hours. Our biggest problem was the non-working elevator !!! At least 5 people were stuck in the elevator during our stay and had to have the fire department come to get them out. One of them was my son and he was panicked and sweating profusely after being trapped for over 30 minutes. I myself have arthritis in both feet, both knees and one hip. Stairs are NOT for me. I am having knee replacement surgery in 2 days so this was not a welcomed challenge. I had noticed the inspection sticker in the elevator stated it expired in 2020!!! 2 years ago! That is unacceptable."

Great condo, great location. Would definitely stay here again.The only thing I wish it had would be a keypad entry. When you are running back and forth from the is easy to forget the key with someone still down at the beach. Most condos at the complex have keyless entry. Otherwise all good!!"

"Much needed family retreat from the cold Indiana weather

"Nice but attention needed
We have been visiting Indian Shores for many years and have stayed in 202 Seagate multiple times also. It is a good property but it seems items that need fixing each visit never seem to be fixed by the next time. Things like a dryer that takes forever to dry (think 3 rounds), lights in closets and in some spaces that never turn on, grout that never seems to be updated in tubs etc. This time these same things were there and not fixed but we also experienced a cat 1 hurricane on one of the evenings and had to worry about our parking space being underneath a massive tree that extended over the full length of the car too. The previous week this meant dropped branches and bird droppings each day but this week it meant being worried about bigger damage. Again nothing big but just another small irritant that we find each time we visit. "

"Florida Stay
Very nice. Loved the heated outdoor pool and being right on the beach. The beach was great as well. Very sandy, no coral to cut your feet on, super nice area. The only issue is that sound really travels when in your unit. We could hear people walking, pulling back chairs to sit on, etc, all the time from the unit above us. That was a little frustrating. Otherwise, we loved it."

"Best Vacation Condo Ever
We have stayed in 7 different units at Seagate and this condo was absolutely great. It was spotless, the sleeping arrangements were exactly what we needed for 6 people. You can't beat the beach front location. It is centrally located for restaurants and shopping. We' would definitely stay there again. The Management Company is one of the best I have used. They are very friendly, accommodating and responds quickly to any concerns. "

"The weather was fantastic
Another great vacation; our ninth consecutive in Indian Shores. Our condo was first class but lacked a garburator which others by the same owner are equipped. The Red Tide condition detracted somewhat this year, but we have booked again for 2019 just the same."

"Very nice condo, great location
The condo itself has been decorated/updated nicely. The kitchen and bathrooms were very nice. Appliances are updated. Locations was perfect, and we were able to rent lounge chairs out front, which we like in lieu of lugging our own down every day.
The things that did need improvement were as follows...
- The dryer is not in working order, you have to run it 3-4 times to get towels clear
- 4 beach towels were supplied for a condo that sleeps 8, we don't expect to pack our own towels
- None of the pots/pans are non-stick. This makes frying eggs and bacon a challenging and messy experience
- Television is not "smart" so cannot watch Netflix
- Time to update to a keypad for door lock. Keeping track of keys, and having to pick them up and drop them off at rental office is inconvenient.

"Summer Vacation for SIx
Booked online. Process easy. Good communication. Check in and out was a breeze and the rental company was very close to the unit. Seagate 202 was nicely decorated and well equipped with kitchen supplies and a few beach items. Covered parking was nice. A few things need to be addressed, such as the dryer performance, the ceiling fan in the guest room and the door knob/security slide need to be changed (broken and rusted). Was pleased with unit 202 and would stay again, but feel as if the condo property could benefit from some beautification."

"Spring Break 2018
The complex and the beach were nice. Location was great and it was also quiet. There was no additional toilet paper. A roll in each bathroom for 5 people for a week is not enough. Two dishwasher tabs for a week was not enough nor was the one garbage bag. For what we paid for the week I felt nickeled and dimed because we had to go buy additional supplies. It would have been nice if there were beach towels and at least additional pillow cases for the additional pillows."

We were very happy with the location of this rental and delighted with the number of families staying at the overall location at the same time.
I was unhappy with the overall cleanliness of the condo. It was okay but none of us were comfortable unpacking our suitcases and using the bureau drawers.
When I complained to the management office I was told that it was the end of the season and deep cleaning will happen after the season was over. I found this to be a lame excuse for not properly cleaning the floors and wiping out the bureau drawers.
On a positive note the kitchen was very well equipped and cooking for the family was made easy.
I am not sure if I would recommend this place to a friend. I need to give it more thought with some time away. It was not the best rental experience I have ever had, but neither was it the worst."

"Cleanliness
When we arrived all the furniture in the bedrooms needed to be dusted including the bed headboards. The top of the refrigerator was very dirty. I purposely did not clean it so it could be viewed by the property owner. A garbage disposal would have been nice in such a high end unit. "

This unit was nicely furnished and the view was exceptional. The sunsets were just amazing! We had a wonderful vacation.
The unit could use more bath towels and wash cloths and the shower, tub and floors could have been cleaner. The clothes dryer is very slow drying. We had to dry each load at least twice."

"2 Week Condo Vacation
All in all, a very nice condo unit. Everything we needed was there. Neat and clean. Salt Rock Grill across the street can't be beat. The only little thing was that we could hear children running all day long the whole length on the condo from above. That's more the renter's fault and not the condo owner's but the ceilings are a little thin.
Also, I called the management twice and never got a response concerning a crack in the sink granite. No buggy but would have liked some response on my inquiry."

We enjoyed our stay at Seagate 202. We were fortunate that we were the first people to stay in the unit after the new owner went thru and did some refurbishing of furniture and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. Nice stay. Yes, the elevator is slow, but isn't that why you go on vacation??? To slow down? Pool was very clean, beach was great and sunsets spectacular. I would return to this unit."

"the view is all i can say!
the condo was spacious, clean and accomodating. The view was the best part. Every morning and evening you had the best view of the gulf while drinking some coffee. indian shores is a perfect location, not too commerical and more condos and houses. My family felt safe and at home in this neighborhood. Everyone in the Complex was friendly. Sharing the grill became social hour. The beach was SUPER clean, sannd like powder and plenty of sea life too- dolfins like to swim by in the am. my only complaint is that the pool was not heated. we could not use it, the gulf was warmer than the pool. All in All, i would DEFINITELY rent this unit again. "

I am sorry to have to say that our condo at 202 Sea Gate was the dirtiest place we have ever vacationed at. The floors were beyond dirty, lipstick on glassware, went to pick up the lamp in one of the bedrooms and dust just came tumbling out. There were broken cups and bowls in the cabinets. We had to clean enough dishes and utensils again just for us to use during our stay. I will never stay here again and would never recommend it to anyone. We did register a complaint the next morning and we were given a letter that if we came back, we would get $100 off of our stay and an upgrade. No thank you. You had one chance to make a first impression."

I would recommend this property with a strong caution. The building shouldn't be advertised as "smoke free" if people can smoke on the pool deck. The location was wonderful but the condo needs to be updated."

"Great condo on beach which needs a little TLC
Elevator really needs help. So so so slow.
New pillows desperately needed.
Patio windows need an industrial strength cleaner. We tried window cleaner but didn't work at all.
Some of the cooking pots and pans we had last summer are missing.
Dryer vent really needs to be cleaned out (the hose going to outside). Could maybe be a fire hazard.
Short on towels for a 3 bedroom unit.
Fan in master bath really needs to be replaced (extremely loud) as well as a number of fluorescent light bulbs.
Great pool maintenance.

"Million Dollar View
the condo was in a wonderful location and was very nice. Parking was easy and when we had a slight maintenance issue - they sent someone out the same day. But on the flip side, it would have been nice to get a call back that our message was received. Our only wishes were for more comfortable beds and for ceiling fans to help muffle noise when someone was asleep and others were up. (the tile floors don't absorb sound well). It is 3 weeks out and I am still waiting on my deposit, but I would definitely stay here again. It is a million dollar view out to the gulf, pool is great, nice area, very convenient."

The view and access to beach was wonderful. Making reservations was easy and the property was as advertised.Some problems with light switches and a clogged drain when we arrived. The location was great for restaurants and was a good central location for all we wanted to do. Even a tropical storm didn't dampen us much."

"Not totally happy
as we checked the condo out found one bed busted witch the maid could not make the bed and not notice,one door on vanity hanging by one hinge one drawer front pushed down these two items I fixed not a big deal but should have been noticed,air conditioner did not work,no screens on windows or doors since the air conditioner did not woork had to leave patio doors open all night which let in all the bugs not to nice had lots of bites."

"Nice place
Great location. 10 minutes to Clearwater Beach and John's Pass (Madeira Beach). Rooms were large and the condo was clean. Loved having washer / dryer in the condo. Pool was clean and not too chlorinated. Beach / gulf views are priceless. We didn't go out to eat because we enjoyed eating on the balcony so much. Beach was clean. My only complaint is that the garbage truck comes every other day at 7:15 am."
