House location is great to the beach, just cross the street, and a simple walk. Plenty of parking for all our guests. Was disappointed by the overall space and upkeep of the property. Strange layout for getting together with guests. All parties complained about the beds/mattress, shades were broken, had to put up garbage bags for privacy. Mold on bathroom ceilings. "

We had a great time! The house has recently been painted. It seems that improvements are made to the home each year. The location is wonderful. A walk across the street and you are at the beach!
Some additions to the kitchen items would be great; for example, a broom or vacuum cleaner, more coffee cups and glasses, measuring spoons and measuring cups, more silverware and cooking pans (like 13x9 inch pans)."

"Family Vacation 5/29/23 - 6/2/23
Everything was great from service to house. There are some updates that need to be done with the furniture / bedding and a few things needing fixed (nothing that a screwdriver wouldn't fix). No major problems. AC went out but called the after hours number and someone was there within 30 minutes to fix. Very prompt service. Location was great...literally right across the street from the beach. Check in & check out process was great...customer service was great! All in all this was a great place to stay! "

"Nice But Inadequate
This rental has a great spot near the beach within a min walk and nearby a busy strip that has all the possible food/events you could want. The residence itself leave a lot to be desired. There were issues with the remote controls, the pool was broken and unusable during the stay, the downstairs refrigerator had a undesired odor and stains, and there was a lack of adequate staple amenities (toilet paper, dish washing liquid, paper towels, condiments for kitchen). For the price of this home, there should be some more basics things included such as those amenities. "

"A place to lay your head
Did not meet my expectations at all, walked into a house with a flooded bathroom, 8 bedrooms only 3 bathrooms and one of those 3 was flooded. Electrical wires hanging from bathroom ceiling, no curtain or blind at big kitchen window. Leakey bathroom fixtures. Door on 1st floor comes open by itself if not locked. "

"House needs major repairs, Nice Pool
The house was in need of some upkeep. The upstairs refrigerator wasn’t cooling upon arrival. The banister on the front deck is very wobbly and dangerous. Mold was forming around many AC vents. The dishwasher broke while we were there.
Location is great and the pool was very nice. There weee no shuffle board sticks or pucks to use."

"All great except...
...there’s a lot of mold in the house. All on the ceilings in many of the rooms and around the jets of the jacuzzi tubs. Maybe a coincidence but several people in our party got sick toward the end of the week and most of them were kids who had no idea what mold even is. It’s a bad look on an otherwise perfect experience. "

We enjoyed the pool and location across the street from the beach. Realty managers were nice and quick to respond. Our issue was most of the mattresses were old and very hard. Also the common areas were too small for the whole family to gather together to eat and play games. There were new loveseats and chairs."

Great location & super responsive management. There are a few things that bothered me, such as the only way to get to the second floor was by a narrow circular staircase unless you walked out of the building. Not handicap friendly. Mold showing through the paint in a few places kinda worried me."

"Not what expected
The outside with pool,hot tub and decks were great . Pool guy was friendly and every other day . However there was garbage along the bushes in the yard . When we went in we found the bathrooms other than the master bath had a lot of black mold all over the ceilings and in and around the tubs . Could not use the jetted tubs for fear of what might come out!! The mattresses were horrible . Inside kitchen cabinets smelled like mold and kitchen was not stocked very well.
We had a few maintenance issues. We called and they took care of our problems in a timely matter. If it wasn’t for the black mold and the beds it would have been ok . We shared the master shower and made it work . Wish they would at least give it a good scrub once a month especially with Covid . We sanitized the place ourselves when we arrived . Sinks drained slow . We did have a good time but really wished it was cleaner .For the price that should not have been an issue

The property is spacious and the layout of the property is great. My only complaint is that it's a bit outdated. It also didn't include many of the basic Pots and pans, just a few. The location was awesome, one block from the beach! The private pool was a plus. Overall for the money, it was a good deal and I would recommend this property for future vacationers "

BEAUTUFUL HOME AND LOCATION!! THE HOUSE WAS CLEAN AND SPACIOUS. KITCHEN WAS A LITTLE SMALL FOR ALL THE COOKS IN OUR FAMILY BUT WE MADE IT WORK. ONLY THINGS THAT DISAPPOINTED ME WAS
1. THE 2 DOWNSTAIRS BEDROOMS WITH WINDOW UNITS WAS MUSTY AND HAD AN ODOR. WE WASHED THE VENTS AND ADDED DRYER SHEETS BUT IT DID NOT WORK.AND THE REFRIGRATOR DOWNSTARIS WAS VERY DIRTY ON THE OUTSIDE. ALSO THE LIGHT WAS BROKEN ON THE CEILING FAN IN THE FAMILY ROOM.
2. WOULD HAD BEEN NICE TO HAVE BROOMS AND MOPS TO KEEP THE FLOORS CLEAN, ITS ALOT OF SAND BEING TRACKED INSIDE, SO THOSE ITEMS WOULD BE GREAT. WE TOTALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY BUT IF THE ITEMS WERE FIXED IT WOULD BE SO MUCH BETTER."

"Family Vacation
The house itself was decent size, very choppy though (weird layout) and we were unaware the kitchen was upstairs and VERY small for large groups. We planned the vacation around and having a first floor access due to having a 91 year-old but with the kitchen being upstairs she wanted to be upstairs which made it difficult at times due to the only staircase within the building being a spiral staircase that she was unable to use. The house was in decent condition but they were multiple broken things such as Jacuzzi tubs that did not work, bathroom doors that would not close due to Wood being warped. The beds are all decent sized, mattresses could use a good replacement all around. Overall the house was clean and the pool and outside area was amazing. The pool was much larger as we compared our house to others in the area while we were staying there! Overall I believe my family all had a great time and we would definitely reuse the home in the future."

"It was just ok
The rental was in a great location and had plenty of parking which is a good thing when you have 12 guys coming down for a golf trip. You needed to physically check in with the realty company, which is a step that did not need to be done in this day and age. No key pad, which also stunk. The house did its job and it holds a lot of people for a great price, but in the future I will spend a little more to get a little more. "

"Family Thanksgiving at Myrtle Beach... close to the beach...
Overall our stay was good. The unit was large enough to sleep everyone .however, it was 2 floors and the stairs inside ware a skinny spiral rod iron staircase not good for elderly or disable people...The kitchen was small and in need of updated and larger pots and pans.Nothing was supplied. No cleaning supplies, no dish detergent, very lil automatic dishwasher detergent, 2 dish rags and only 1 dish towel for drying extra trash bags... The Broom staws lean to one side and hard to use."

"Wonderful Stay
Stayed here with mom, dad, sisters, their husbands and all the kids (18 total). We had a great stay, however because of the number of couples (5) it would have been nice to have bathrooms in more than just one of the bedrooms and more king beds (only 4). Overall the house was great and the location was even better. I would definitely recommend this to a group with 4 or less couples. "

"Wonderful stay
Easy process to book. Great help with any questions we had. Easy Check in an check out. The remodel was great everything was fresh an clean. The beach being across the street was very convenient. The house easily slept all 25 of us with no issues, actually there was space to sleep more people. This house is deffinately great to rent for big groups. The only thing I didn't like were the beds. Beds were way too firm. "

"Good house, but needs fixing up
First off, Victoria @ North Beach Realty was fantastic to deal with. Very professional and friendly.
Let's 1st talk about the outside spaces. Plenty of different areas to hang out. Ample parking and 2 charcoal grills were a nice plus. The pool area was clean and there were plenty of chairs for everyone. The pool area was absolutely crawling with palmetto bugs though (south carolina's nice way of saying cockroaches) At any given time there were 6-10 of them crawling around the pool. Had never run into that many at once.
The stairs leading out of the back of the house are in need of replacement beams, the current ones are rotted and becoming loose.
The inside of the house was pretty disappointing. The musty smell downstairs was so bad we couldn't use one of the bedrooms.
The downstairs area in itself is very strange, the "living room" downstairs in only about 6feet wide and basically useless for anything more than a pass through to the bed rooms and upstairs. Then there is another sitting area around the corner where the couch is about 3 feet from the TV. It's all just too small for the number of people the house claims to accommodate.
The upstairs is better. 2 large bedrooms with king beds and one small room with a queen stuffed in it. The kitchen is nice, as is the dining area.
The pro's : 2 fridges, clean pool, across from the beach, washer& dryer, nice kitchen.
The con's : the house smelled very musty and was in overall not great shape. Very strange layout, small gathering spaces. Across the street from the ocean, although you're staring straight at a parking garage.
No privacy whatsoever at the pool, also pool area overrun by cockroaches.
Overall, the house is a 6 out 10. If they put $5k into it, they could make it an 8. "

"Excellent family vacation
When we first entered the house my first thought was " what a weird setup from first to second floor!" We had our three daughters, their spouses and 9 grandchildren. The only stairs to the second floor was a spiral staircase & I thought it would be an issue with the grandkids. It all worked out very well and the staircase was no problem at all. Lots of bunk beds which the kids loved. Access to the beach is really only steps across the street & the pool in the backyard was fantastic. On our first full day I noticed that a loveseat on first floor was apparently broken and my son in law pointed out that the rocking chairs on the second floor front porch were broken. I emailed North Beach Realty complaining about those items and in less 24 hours a truck pulled up and delivered a new loveseat and new rocking chairs. I found that to be amazing. Parking was ample and easy. The only big negative is the ocean view- there is none except a tiny view thru the parking garage of the 15 story condo building directly across the street."

HVAC did not work, Mold in the downstairs shower. Refrigerator downstairs did not get cold. Bunk bed mattresses was like sleeping on concrete. No outside lights worked."

"Great experience in The Ocean Pearl
House easily slept 25 people and the pool was a great addition. We were able to park 8 cars in the driveway, which included a pickup truck. There's also overnight parking in front of the house on the side of the road, and the spaces were always available. The parking lot beside the house is free public parking but you can't park there overnight. The view is blocked by the condos in front of the property but a quick walk across the street will get you on the beach which was never crowded. Fortunately, I loaded my Traeger grill so I could smoke some meals because the property has two really small medal charcoal grills for your use. It would have taken me a long time to cook for 20 plus people with those grills. :-)"

Every year my family gets together for a vacation. This year we chose North Myrtle Beach because two of our grandsons were in baseball tournaments at the Cal Ripken Experience.
We needed a large house to hold the 12 adults and 10 children that were there and this property slept us all. It was great to have the pool on the property. The beach was easy to get to. The location was good. It was easy to get to wherever we wanted to go.
The bedrooms were adequate. There were several TVs which was good. Cooking for 22 was a bit of a challenge (we could have used larger pots and pans) but we managed without too much trouble. There were plenty of plates, etc.
The rental management was very responsive. It was a little disappointing having a large condo building and parking garage right in front of us blocking the view of the ocean but all in all we had a great time. "

Great weeks stay for 17 adults and 2 small children. Nice pool, easy short walk to the beach. Plan on supplying sharp knives for kitchen use, coffee and filters, dish washer soap, hand soap and toiletries and laundry detergent. 2 supplied grills are charcoal. Great time would stay in this house again in a heartbeat."

The Staff was very easy to work with and answered all my questions in a very professional way. The house was big and clean. The pictures of the property were spot on and satisfied our needs. We stayed at this property in late February so the weather was not the greatest but I would not hesitate to come back when it's warmer. Overall this property had a great location in North Myrtle Beach and accommodated all of our needs for the four days we rented the house. I'll be back! "

We reserved the whole Villa for 2 nights in Christmas time. Everything was great except heating problem for 2 rooms. We called them and the manager provided us with extra (portable) heating devices for those rooms immediately. So I don't have any complaints."

Our stay at this property was great and everyone enjoyed themselves. Victoria was always helpful and the location of the home is great. It's right across the road from the beach. Also plenty eating places and shopping areas. The property was clean and well-maintained and I would recommend this property to friends/relative. There was one downfall in the house and that is downstairs is so cold they need to find a way to get heaters or a different unit to heat the bottom and turning the heat up only burn the people up on the top floor. It is a great summer rental!!! The kitchen is located upstairs kind of awkward and the staircase I would change it to a regular staircase the spiral one is a little off balance especially when carrying luggage upstairs or food to the kitchen. Also I would recommend checkout time to be 11:00 or noon because 10:00 is a little too early."

Arrived late afternoon, Keys were left in box as promised by the management co. The property was a beautiful site to see after spending far too many hours in the car. Everything was neat and tidy, every room had a TV which worked out great and beds were comfy, location could not have been closer to the beach, it was perfect especially for running back to the house for the infamous forgotten something. My week was spent with 4 other women just needing to get away and this property worked out well having 5 bathrooms. Centrally located to everything. Walking into town was easy and close.Property and pool were well maintained.Would definitely recommend. "

"Overall Good Time
The house itself was in a perfect location, takes 30 seconds to get to the beach and it had the biggest pool in the neighborhood by far. Only issues were the kitchen was a little cramped, not horrible just smaller than we are used to and the washer dryer being upstairs was noisy since we were doing laundry often with a large group. I would maybe suggest adding a laundry in the basement, get rid of pyramid bunk in downstairs hallway area and put laundry there. Overall, it was good. "

"Great Place to Stay
Our large family rented this house July 12-19 2014 for our family vacation. We had 10 adults and 8 kids. There was more than enough sleeping room and bathrooms for us all.
Pros: Plenty of room for a large family.
Private pool.
2 refrigerators
Free Wi-Fi
Cons: Kitchen was not quite large enough to suit a large family that cooks alot.
Extremely small charcoal grill outside needs replaced with a larger gas grill for large family bbq's.
Most bathrooms were very small. Bathtubs have extremely high side walls due to the jets in the tubs. Most bathtubs had sliding doors instead of shower curtains which made me feel confined. Lower bathrooms were very hot (lightbulbs put out a lot of heat).
With the high rise directly in front of this house there was absolutely NO ocean view.
Overall a very pleasant stay!!!!!!"
