The screened and heated 28' pool and lounges are bathed in soothing, all-day sunshine, while the pool bar area remains breezy and shady with ceiling fans, a sink, refrigerator, blender, TV, stereo, foosball table, table, chairs and an outdoor shower. Just outside there is a charcoal grill, picnic table and large yard for yard games. For the private use by guests of the Lazy Dolphin, you'll also find beach chairs, bicycles, Prince tennis rackets, tennis balls and beach and pool toys.
The upside-down floor plan creates a quiet bedroom level with dual master suites where you can drift to sleep with the tranquil sound of the surf and enjoy the privacy of two private bathrooms, TVs and a private lanai with Adirondack chairs and a hammock. There's also two twin bedrooms, an additional full bathroom, a large washer and dryer, an iron and ironing board, and a beach towel locker loaded with atleast 20 beach towels for your use at the Lazy Dolphin. Linen and bath towel service is provided by NCIC.
Entering the expansive living area unfolds stunning views encompassing the Gulf of Mexico and Captiva Pass. While seated in the living room, as the dual 12 foot pocket doors disappear, you're fully engulfed in the panorama of the beach, ocean, sun trees and breeze. To compliment this seaside portrait, there's a Sony stereo with speakers mounted in the vaulted ceiling, and although you may never bother to look behind the doors of the rattan corner cabinet, there's also a large Sony flat screen TVwith VCR and DVD player. For your convenience, there is also satellite TV, high speed wireless internet access, and free long distance in the US. There is also a library of books, games, CDs, DVDs and VCR tapes.
The screened lanai has ceiling fans, dining table and chairs, custom-made lounges, built-in ceiling speakers, and a second staircase which leads directly to the pool and the beach.
In the dining are and kitchen, as you take in more ocean views, you'll find seating for 12 guests, a phone desk, bar, stove, range, microwave, dishwasher, disposal, large refrigerator, separate high-capacity ice maker, blender and just about every type of glass, dis, pan, utensil and small appliance ever made.
Just up a spiral staircase, the glass-enclosed mezzanine provides a sunny escape from grown-ups and kids with club chairs, a flat screen TV, VCR and DVD player.
The Lazy Dolphin is crowned with a roof-top deck like none other. As one of the highest points in the Pirate Island chain, you will discover 360 degree views that seem to go on forever. From sunrises over Pine Island Sound, fishing boats in Captiva Pass, sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico, and touching the stars at night, the roof-top deck on the Lazy Dolphin is a place you and your family will always remember.
